I slowly lowered her zipper, tugging at her jeans. My other hand slid up her chest, cupping her breast.

“Fucking perfect,” I mumbled, kissing at her neck as I slid my hand in her pants. “Take your jeans off.”

As she slid them down her legs, my hand slid deeper into her folds. She was drenched for me.

“Your pussy wants me. Do you feel your cream sliding over my fingers?”

“Yes,” she moaned as I pinched her nipple.

I pressed my cock against her ass. Pulling her ass cheeks apart, I slid my cock through her wetness. “This pussy is mine,” I whispered, returning my hand to her breast. “These tits are mine.” I slid my other hand around to her ass. “And eventually, this ass will be mine.”

She was panting hard as I thumbed her clit, rubbing her hard and pushing her toward orgasm. With every circle, she pushed her ass back against me and her tits into my hand.

“I think I’ll give you a taste now,” I said, nipping at her ear. “Do you want that?”

She gasped, her legs quivering as I pressed down on her clit. She tried to clench her legs together, but I wouldn’t let her. I slid my leg between hers. I wanted to feel her come all over my hand, and then she was going to come on my cock. As she stood quivering in my arms, I slowly slid my fingers in and out of her pussy, working her up for my cock.

  “Bend over.”

She glanced over her shoulder, a burning intensity flared in her eyes. She bent over the edge of the couch, leaving her at a perfect height for me to take her.

  “Spread your legs, baby.”

She did as I asked, stretching her arms out in front of her as I lined up my cock. Fingering her a few more times, I took the head of my cock and guided it inside her. My eyes closed as I finally hit home, covered from root to tip in her cream. It was fucking amazing. She jerked back against me.

  “More,” she begged.

I chuckled, sliding my wet fingers to her ass. Circling her hole, I pressed against it, going harder as she gasped when I pressed inside. “This is just a warmup, baby. Tomorrow, I’ll take your ass with my cock.” I pulled out and slammed back inside her, her body jerking forward with the force of my thrust.

  “Oh God,” she moaned.

I slowly fucked her ass with my finger, twisting and turning, stretching her out for my pleasure. She would get used to being stretched, and then I would pound her ass just like I was about to pound into her pussy.

With my free hand, I gripped her hip tight, pulling out and thrusting back into her. I didn’t hesitate this time. I just pulled out and did it again, each time fucking her harder and harder. Then she shoved her ass back, pushing herself all the way onto my finger. I slid a second inside, fucking her ass as my cock was buried inside her.

  “You like that?”

  “Yes,” she hissed.

“Are you ready for my cock?”

  She didn’t answer.

“Tomorrow, baby. Tonight, I want to come in your pussy.”

I fucked her hard, bringing her to orgasm just as I spilled my cum inside her. Panting, I pulled out my fingers and flattened myself against her back. I could feel her heart pounding out of control. She was fucking amazing.

“Tomorrow you get my ass,” she said breathlessly, “but the next night, I get to ride your cock.”

Kissing her shoulder, I pulled her up and cupped her breast again. “Who said anything about waiting for that?”

  Ciara

Yawning, I stood under the spray of the shower, trying to wake up. I had gotten only a few hours of sleep because of Antonio. The man could fuck all night long, and he would have if I hadn’t fallen asleep on him. But the dogs woke me up this morning, so there was no sleeping in. I’d probably end up taking a nap this afternoon.

I had been standing in the shower for close to twenty minutes, refusing to get out, even though I was already washed. Finally, I shut off the shower and grabbed a towel off the bar. Ringing my hair out, I dried off and wrapped the towel around my body. Staring at myself in the mirror, it was the same as usual. I didn’t recognize the person staring back at me, but the more I looked, the more I was okay with that. I would just start over. Whoever she was, she was long gone.

I headed upstairs to the loft, surprised when I saw Antonio leaning over my suitcase, shoving something inside. “What are you doing?”

He turned around and grinned. “It’s moving day.”

My eyebrows shot up in surprise. “Moving where? Are you kicking me out?”

His face fell. “Why would I kick you out?”

  “You said it’s moving day.”

“Yeah,” he said, shutting the case. “As in, moving your shit into my room. It’s stupid for you to keep coming up here every time you want clothes.”

  “Oh.”

“What, did you think I was going to eventually make you come back up here?”

  I shrugged. “With you, everything’s a mystery.”

“I resent that. I thought I proved to you last night that there’s no possible way I can kick you out of my bed.”

I bit my lip, wondering what exactly that meant. “I don’t mean to be a girl about this, but what does that mean exactly?”

  “What does what mean?”

  “What are we doing?”

“I told you I don’t like riddles. If you have something to ask, just ask.”

Tightening the towel around my body, I dove in. “Are we together or are we just fucking?”

  “What do you want?”

“I’m not sure what I want matters. This is your house. I’m just here because—”

“Because I want you here,” he said, grabbing me around the waist. “I don’t keep people around me. You know that.”

“So, what does that make us?”

“It makes us…together. Do you need a label?”

“No, not a label, just clarification.”

“Fine.” He leaned in and kissed me. “I want you in my bed, in my life, for as long as I can keep you. But if your memory comes back and you want to leave…I might not let you.”

I laughed against his lips. I wasn’t sure that was a great answer. I mean, it wasn’t that I needed a marriage proposal or anything. I just needed to know that this was real. Everything in my life seemed so uncertain. I wanted one thing to be a certainty, even if that was too much to ask.

“Is that a good enough answer?”

“I suppose it’ll have to do,” I sighed. “You’re not exactly the hearts and flowers kind of guy.”

“Do you know many of those?”

  “You know I don’t.”

He always asked these questions, like he was testing me or something. Sometimes I felt like he didn’t trust that I was telling him the truth about not remembering.

“Why do I always feel like I’m on trial with you?”

  “Because I don’t trust easily.”

“But you believe me, right? I wouldn’t lie to you.”

  “Omissions aren’t technically lies.”

“They’re not the truth either. I promise you, I’m not lying to you. I need you to believe that.”

He stepped back, shaking his head. “But are you telling me when you remember stuff?”

“I already told you, the only thing I remembered was the accident.”

“Fine,” he said, shoving his hands in his pockets. “What did you remember when I cornered you at the front door.”

My mouth dropped open. Could I really tell him that? The way he was staring at me, I needed to come clean, otherwise he would never trust me. “I remembered being on my knees for some guy.”

He shrugged. “What’s the big deal about that?”

I pursed my lips, not wanting to say the rest.

“Look, either you trust me enough to tell me whatever the fuck it was that scared you, or this ends.”

I hated this two way street with him. He was perfectly fine with telling me nothing, but I was supposed to tell him everything. “Why don
’t you tell me about you?”

“I already told you, there are things I need to say, but I don’t know that you’ll want to be with me.”

  “Same here,” I snapped.

He stepped forward, wrapping his arms around my waist, pulling me into him. “I’m pretty sure there’s nothing you could tell me that would make me run. But I know the shit I have to tell you is something that might make you walk away. I just need more time.”

My eyes dropped to his chest as I ran my hands up over his pecs. I didn’t want to lose him, but maybe if I opened up to him and was honest with him, he would give me something in return.

“The blow job was a job.”

His brows furrowed as he stared at me. “What do you mean?”

“I don’t know. I know it was a job. Maybe I was a prostitute or something. I don’t know anything more than that. Still want to be with me?”

I expected him to push me away, but instead, he pulled me against him, kissing me hard. “It doesn’t mean a damn thing to me. People change, at least, I have to believe they can. If not, I’m fucked.”

  “You really don’t care?”

“It’s in your past. It doesn’t fucking matter.”

He pulled me against him again, but this time, he just hugged me. It was the weirdest thing yet. Antonio wasn’t a hugger, but this had to mean something.

“Look, I had these plans that included you moving your stuff downstairs, lots of sex, and more sex after that. Can we do that instead of worry about shit that doesn’t matter?”

“Well, when you put it like that,” I grumbled. “I suppose that sounds better.”

  “Good.”

He picked up the suitcases and brought them downstairs. I was still in just a towel, so I followed him down and grabbed some clothes. He pulled me into his arms, pressing a kiss to my lips. “I emptied some drawers for you, and there’s room in the closet. I’ll go make breakfast.”

I brushed off my anger from earlier. It wouldn’t do me any good to stew over things I couldn’t change. I pulled out my clothes, stuffing them in the empty drawers, but I ran out of space. He only gave me two drawers, but there were five total. We could probably share a drawer. I opened the other three, deciding to move some of his clothes around. He probably wouldn’t be too happy about it, but he invited me to stay in his room, so unless he got another dresser, we’d have to share. I shifted his boxers and socks to another drawer, but when I shoved the clothes aside, a necklace caught my eye. It was more feminine, not something I could ever see him wearing.

Glancing through the bedroom door to make sure he wasn’t watching, I picked up the necklace and examined it. Something about it seemed familiar. The necklace looked older, a little tarnished. “A celtic cross,” I whispered, wondering how I knew that.

“A stór. Come, I have something for you.”

I walked over to the kind, elderly woman that sat on the couch. It was my confirmation day, a very special day for me. People gathered around the house, ready to head to church. I had been waiting all day for the ceremony, since it took place in the evening. My white dress was the most beautiful thing I’d ever worn.

  “Yes, mamó.”

“Sit,” she smiled, patting the seat beside her.

My mamó had been sick for a long time. I wasn’t supposed to know, but I overheard my parents talking. She didn’t have long now. I didn’t know what was making her so sick, but it made me sad. My mamó was the only kind person in my life. My father, her son, was not very nice, and I think she knew that. She was always making me cookies and spoiling me with hugs, that is, until she got too sick to do those things for me.

She took my hand in hers, turning it over and placing a long chain with a cross in it. I looked up at her, eyes wide as I stared at her. She had tears in her eyes that made me sad.

  “Mamó?”

“This was given to me by my máthair on my confirmation day. And her máthair gave it to her just the same. It’s been in the family for a very long time, and now I’m giving it to you.”

Her voice was weak as she closed her other hand over mine. Tears filled my eyes. It felt like this was goodbye for some reason. I could see how frail her body was, how her hands shook as she placed it in my hands. It looked like just that small act took all the wind out of her.

“Ciara! Leave your grandmother alone,” my father snapped.

“Is breá liom tú, A stór.”

  “Is breá liom tú, Mamó.”

I gave her a hug, her hand slowly running up and down my back with what little strength she had.

“Ciara, we need to go,” my father’s voice commanded.

Slowly standing, I couldn’t stop looking at Mamó. She nodded, telling me to leave, but I didn’t want to, not without her. I wanted to ask her to come with me, but I knew better than to ask for anything without my father’s permission. I put the necklace on, watching how she smiled as she watched it dangle around my neck.

My father grabbed my hand, dragging me away from Mamó. Her eyes sparkled with tears as she raised her hand, blowing me a kiss.

  “Ciara?”

I looked up, tears spilling down my cheeks as the memory flashed in my mind again.

  “Ciara? What’s wrong?”

I looked down at my hand wrapped around the necklace. “Where did you get this?” I asked, opening my hand.

His eyes narrowed and he stared at me intently.

“Tell me!” I shouted. “What aren’t you telling me?”

  “It’s…”

  “It’s mine, right?”

  “You remember?”

I shook my head. “I had a memory of when I was a child. My grandma gave it to me.”

  “So, you remember her?”

“No, I don’t remember her. I just have that one memory. It doesn’t bring anything else back.”

He sighed, rubbing his hand across his forehead, like he was the one that was frustrated with the situation.

  “Where did you get this?”

  “It was in your car.”

“And you just decided to keep it?” I said incredulously. “It might have helped me to remember.”

“Well, obviously it didn’t work. You don’t remember a damn thing, so what the fuck does it matter?”

“It matters because you kept it from me! What else are you keeping from me?”

Something flashed in his eyes, and I knew in that moment that the necklace wasn’t the only thing he was holding back.

“Oh my God, you know more, don’t you?”

“Not exactly,” he grumbled. Sighing, he walked over to the suitcase and pulled at the fabric.

  “What are you doing?”

As he pulled it back, it revealed what looked like a secret compartment. Pulling out an envelope, he handed it over. “I found this when you first came to stay with me.”

I tore my eyes from the envelope, staring at him with betrayal. “You kept this from me?”

“I didn’t know if you were lying to me or not about the whole amnesia thing. After I found that, I waited to see if you had some plan.”

“Some plan for what?” I asked in confusion.

“If you were here for me.”

“What does that even mean? I was driving down the road when I crashed. It was just luck that you were there.”

He nodded. “I know that now.”

I shook my head, frustrated with what he was saying. “That doesn’t make any sense. Why would I be here for you? I don’t even know who you are!”

  “Just open the packet.”

I pulled out the papers, along with a driver’s license that I didn’t recognize. “I don’t understand. Why would I have a second license?”

  “I don’t think it’s yours.”

“It has my picture on it.” I turned it around and shoved it in his face so he could see.

  “I know, but it’s a fake.”

  “What?”

  “Trust me on this.”

I stared at it, trying to see wha
t he saw, but I didn’t know how to tell if it was a fake or not. I shuffled through the papers and some pictures. There was a picture of me with a man, but I didn’t recognize him.

  “Who is this?”

  “I don’t know. I thought maybe…obviously it didn’t work.”

  “What didn’t work?”

“I thought showing this to you would bring it all back.”

“If you thought that, why didn’t you show this to me sooner? I’ve been here for weeks with no clue who I am and you hid this from me?”

  “Ciara, you don’t know everything.”

“Obviously,” I retorted. “Apparently, you know more about me than I do.”

“I don’t know any more than that. I called in a favor with a guy I know. I sent him your photo and all this stuff. He’s going to see what he can find out.”

I stared at him in shock. “That’s why you were upstairs going through my stuff this morning.”

“Yeah, but I won’t apologize for it.”

“Of course not. Why would you apologize for holding my life over my head.”

“I’m not fucking doing anything,” he cursed, grabbing me by the arms. “I’m trying to protect you.”

“Why? Why would I need protection?”

“I don’t think it was a coincidence that you were out here.”

“You think I went off the road on purpose?”

“No, but I think maybe you came out here for me.”

This was all too much to take. I didn’t understand any of it. “Why would I be out here for you? That doesn’t make any sense. Do you recognize me? Do we know each other in some way?”

“No, I’ve never met you before.”

Sighing, I sat down on the bed, staring at the pictures. They meant nothing to me. I didn’t know why I would be carrying these with me, let alone in a secret compartment. I opened my palm and stared down at the necklace. It was the only thing that meant anything to me, and I wasn’t even sure how it fit in with the rest of my life.

“Ciara, I swear, as soon as I find some answers, I’ll tell you. I was hoping you would remember on your own, but it’s becoming increasingly clear that you aren’t going to.”

I let the necklace dangle between my fingers. “I think this was my grandmother’s.” I thought back to the memory. “I think she was dying.”
