I know it probably won’t be enough to afford my new place, but at least it's a start and that makes me happy.
Brian catches me smiling and asks, "What are you thinking about?"
I look at him and reply, "our date later."
That's not even a lie, because now that's exactly what I'm thinking about, yet again. And I have a feeling it’ll be all that’s on my mind – in addition to my bakery plans, of course – for quite some time to come.
Chapter 12 - Brian
Later that night, the auction is already over and I’m with Tammy on our date. I took her to the nicest restaurant in town. We are seated across from each other at a private table.
I ordered a bottle of champagne, so we sip our glasses of bubbly. Tammy looks around. I can tell from her expression that she is impressed by the place. She puts her glass down and looks at me.
"This is a nice restaurant. I've never been here before," she remarks.
I put my glass down, too.
"I thought a beautiful woman should enjoy a night out in a beautiful place,” I say, flirting with her again.
She laughs.
"Do you ever turn that off?" she asks.
"What, don't you like my flirting?" I ask in return.
She shakes her head but she’s smiling, and I know she does like it.
We start off our dinner with some salads.
I figure why not make a night of it?
"As a matter of fact, I do enjoy your flirting. It entertains me,” she admits, after a few moments.
I knew it.
“I've been thinking up ways that you can help with the auctions, and make more money for your business," I tell her.
She looks up at me eagerly.
"Oh, wonderful, do tell," she says, and after a few more bites of salad, she gives me her undivided attention.
I find myself staring at her gorgeous face and her eyes as we talk. I give her some of my ideas, which include catering a lot of the auctions that we can get other people to host.
I tell her, "You can still host some if you want. Your bakery is amazing, and people liked the convenience of the food."
"That's a great idea. I'm glad to help in any way I can. Plus, it'll get my business more exposure, without having to actually participate," she says happily, then smiles softly at me.
"Tonight was amazing, though, being up there,” she admits.
My heart flips when she says that. I have to gain control of my emotions.
"Yes, it's quite an adrenaline rush," I comment.
She nods in agreement, then we drift into silence. I think about how I enjoyed it too, especially her blowjob. I can't wait to try more things with her after dinner.
We finish our salads and sip some more champagne. She excuses herself to the bathroom for a few moments. I sit there and wonder what else we can talk about. I decide then that I want to know more about her. What happened to make her so feisty and intriguing?
Also, I wouldn't mind knowing what the deal is with her and Candy, either. These are thoughts I don't usually have. I never get close to the women I buy at auctions. It's a rule I have always had, but I'm having trouble keeping it with her.
When she comes back to the table, our food has arrived.
"I hope you don't mind, but I ordered us some tea. I thought we might be tired of champagne,” I tell her.
She takes her seat and smiles.
"Sure, that's fine,” she responds.
I like her attitude. She seems so cool about everything. I take a few bites of my food and watch as she eats hers.
Finally, I ask, "So what happened between you and Candy?"
She sighs, sips her tea and then looks at me.
"Honestly, it’s petty stuff from high school. Not very interesting," she answers.
I scoff.
"You looked liked you were going to attack her; it must be a very big deal to provoke that kind of a reaction,” I persist.
She takes a few more bites of food, then sighs.
"Okay, so it was Prom season,” she says, and then she starts to explain everything.
I'm shocked by the protective emotions that I feel for her. It actually hurts me to hear her being treated that way. How could any guy dump her before Prom? And by the end of the story, I'm furious with Candy as well.
"Pretty pathetic, right?" she asks, after she’s done explaining.
"Not at all," I reply, shaking my head emphatically.
I put my fork down and take a drink of my leftover champagne for liquid courage.
"In fact, I had a similar situation happen in high school as well…"
I tell her about how a girl jilted me and broke my heart, leaving me to decide that love was for the birds. I find myself opening up to her pretty easily, even though I’ve never told this story to anyone.
She gazes at me with sad eyes, and at the end of my story, she reaches across the table and gently holds my hand for a few seconds.
"Well look at us now, the past behind us, out having fun in the present," she jokes, with a smile.
She pulls her hand away and goes back to eating.
I stare at her hand a few seconds, then clear my throat.
"Yes, fun," I reply cheerfully, as we finish our dinner.
I’m having more than fun with her, but I don’t want to sound pathetic by getting mushy about it.
Afterwards, we talk each other into sharing some cake for dessert. We talk and laugh. She is funny and clever, and I love how she doesn't cave into my flirting right away like any other woman usually does.
She is very strong and passionate, especially about her business. She enjoyed everything about the auction, especially meeting and helping people get everything set up. I joke that maybe she could take Julia's job.
She shrugs and tells me she would rather make her business bigger first. She has a lot of plans she wants to accomplish.
I’m enjoying our conversation so much that by the time the check arrives, I don't want to be away from her. I can't deny anymore that I’m completely falling for her.
It's crazy, but maybe I have been all along.
I never would have thought that it was possible, either, but there is no other way to explain my feelings.
Chapter 13 - Tammy
After dinner, Brian and I take a limo to his house. During the ride, we are mostly silent. I am trying not to act too impressed by everything, but it's kind of difficult.
It's not often that you get to date a gorgeous billionaire. It doesn't take long to reach the house – or should I say mansion. Brian helps me out of the car and holds my hand as we walk up to the door.
As soon as we are inside, he says, "Let's finish what we started."
He kisses me, parting my lips with his tongue. I wrap my arms around his shoulders, pulling him closer to me. He lifts me and my legs wrap around his waist. He starts to carry me to his bedroom, as we continue kissing.
Once in the room, he sets me on my feet.
"Are you ready to lose your virginity?" he asks me.
I take a deep breath and nod immediately.
"Well, that was fast," he teases me, with a laugh.
I lightly hit him on his ripped, inked chest. He catches my hand and gently pulls me to him. He leans down and kisses me again, and this time he nibbles and kisses down the side of my neck.
I pull the straps down on my dress, so he can keep going. He does, all the way past my breasts, pausing to tenderly lick and suck each nipple.
My heart pounds in excitement and anticipation. He pauses to pull my dress off completely.
Once I step out of it, I'm standing there in my panties and heels. He smiles at me appreciatively, then kisses the rest of my stomach, all the way to my pubic area. I tremble slightly. He looks at me with a smile, then kisses the outside of my panties before pulling them off.
"I like your heels," he comments.
"Then I guess I'll leave them on," I
reply with a wink.
He shakes his head no.
"I have something else in mind for tonight," he answers.
"Oh?" I ask in surprise.
I'm naked before him. He stands up, so I kick off my heels. He leads me towards the bed, and I lay down. I watch as he pulls off his pants.
I have never seen him totally naked before, of course, so I'm shocked by his handsome, gorgeous body. He climbs in the bed with me, positioning himself between my legs. He kisses my lips softly, my tongue pushing into his mouth.
I hope he keeps going. I don't think I can handle any teasing tonight. When I said I was ready to lose my virginity to him, I meant it.
As he kisses me, he pushes me gently back on the bed. I can feel him push apart my thighs with his knee. His erection pushes against me.
Adrenaline courses through my body. I am more than ready for this. I push my pelvis up against him. He stops kissing me long enough to smile at me.
"Are you sure?" he asks.
"Of course I am," I reply.
He kisses me briefly, and I can feel him hesitate, before slowly pushing inside of me.
Oh my gosh; this is incredible. He fills me up. He thrusts deeper, but I want more. I pull him to me. He keeps thrusting, slow at first, going faster each time. I never thought it would feel as good as this.
"Oh, yes, Brian," I gasp in his ear.
He grunts and goes faster. I don’t want him to stop. It feels so good. I tighten my legs around him.
“You love when I’m cramming my pussy so tight and full with my big cock, don’t you?” he asks me.
Loving the dirty talk, I claw my nails into him and say, “Yes, I do.”
He keeps going, until I can't stand it anymore. I call out his name as I cum. I'm clinging tightly to him.
I'm dizzy and out of breath, but I feel incredible. I'm grinning like a fool. He notices that as he untangles himself from my arms.
"I take it that was enjoyable?" he teases.
He lays in the bed beside me. I turn over to look at him. I can’t stop myself from smiling, so I nod.
"Just so you know, next time I'm going to tie you up and introduce you to the rougher stuff,” he cautions.
"That's fine with me," I reply.
He reaches over and wraps his arms around me.
"I'm glad you enjoyed it. Your first time should be special," he says.
"It was," I reply.
What I don't say is that it was gentle, romantic, and perfect. We lay there in silence for a while. I'd have to say that my auction and my date night went great.
My mind drifts to my business, as it always does. It will take a lot of work to be able to buy the expensive building I want to use as my bakery and cafe, but I know I can make it happen. I'm determined enough.
What am I doing?
I need to stop thinking about work right now. I'm having a great night. I need to go back to enjoying it.
I really do love being with Brian. I never imagined that he could be this sweet or gentle.
"Did you go to sleep?" he asks.
"No, just thinking," I reply.
"Your business again?" he asks curiously.
I wrap my arms around him.
"Actually, I was thinking about how awesome everything was just now," I answer.
I can tell that I've shocked him. He’s quiet for a few seconds, then starts smiling happily.
"I mean it," I say.
He pulls me closer to him and we lay there for awhile, just cuddling and kissing each other. Eventually we start to fall asleep. I wasn't expecting our date to go like this at all, but I'm so glad that it did.
I can't wait for our next opportunity to be together. I'm curious to know what other things he wants to try. He had mentioned during our auction talks that he had kinky tastes. I've never been tied up before, but it sounds incredibly hot.
In the short time since I have come to know him, I trust him not to hurt me. I fall asleep cuddling and dreaming of him. I feel happy and safe with him next to me. I didn't think that would happen, but I’m so glad it has.
Chapter 14 - Tammy
1 Month Later
Earlier, Brian called me and asked me out to dinner. We were both busy at work at the time, so we agreed to meet at the same restaurant where we had our first date. I was really excited about it, just like I am every time I hear from him.
After work, I hurried home and showered. I spent a few minutes obsessing about what to wear. I finally decided on a dress that accentuates my figure. I bought it after our last date.
Now I'm standing outside the restaurant, waiting for Brian. I glance at my phone. He's two minutes late, but I'm not worried.
As I look up, I see him hurrying across the street. He hurries to my side and plants a quick kiss on my cheek.
"I'm sorry. I got stuck at the office with Andrew," he explains apologetically.
I don’t care; I'm just happy to see him.
"It’s not a big deal, it's only a few minutes," I reply with a shrug.
"Let's go inside," he says, as he holds the door open for me.
"Thank you!" I reply.
He’s been such a gentleman since our first date.
After we are seated and waiting for our food, I notice he looks a little nervous.
"Is everything okay?" I ask him, curious.
He looks around anxiously, then nods. Our food arrives and we start eating. He seems quiet tonight, so I know something is bothering him. After a few more minutes, I put my fork down.
"Seriously, what's wrong? Is it work?" I ask.
I'm starting to get a little concerned.
He looks up from his plate of food.
"No, everything is going great at work. Speaking of that, we'll have more auctions coming up in a few months," he replies. “We’ll get a commission, since we’re helping set them up, and you’ll be catering them.”
"Oh, that is great!" I say happily.
We go back to eating, and I decide to stop worrying about it. If something were really wrong, he would tell me. We are almost done eating when he clears his throat.
"Tammy, I need to ask you something," he announces.
"Sure, go right ahead," I reply, looking at him very seriously.
He seems nervous again, and clears his throat.
"I know everything between us has happened kind of suddenly, but I know that I want to be with you forever…" he starts to say.
Before he can even finish his sentence, the word "Yes!" is out of mouth.
“Yes?” he asks. “You’ll marry me?”
“Yes! Yes!” I shout out, happily.
We both look at each other in surprise, then start to smile while the rest of the patrons at the restaurant figure out what’s happening and start to clap. He pulls a box out of his jacket pocket. I hold out my hand as he slips the ring on my finger.
We sit there holding hands and gazing into each other's eyes. It's such a beautiful moment that I couldn't be happier. Since it's a celebration now, we order more food and champagne.
My happiness starts to dissipate, though, as I worry about the money for my business. I feel so far away from my goal, I don't know what I am going to do. Each time I think I’m close to being able to afford the building and place a bid, some competing buyer bids even higher.
I know Brian could afford to help me if I asked him, but I can’t bring myself to do that. I've always been independent, so this is something I feel that I need to do on my own.
I try not to let that bother me now. I need to focus on my happiness and not ruin such a beautiful moment. I can’t believe I’m actually engaged! I can’t wait to tell Sheila. I know she’ll be happy for me, and she’s double happy that we’re with a pair of friends.
I'm taking a sip of champagne when I hear a voice next to me say, "Excuse me, Tammy?"
I look up to see that it’s Candy.
"Um, yes?" I ask, in surprise.
/> I'm so shocked to see her here.
She looks at Brian and then back at me, before saying, "I just happened to be eating here, and I saw what just happened. Good for you. I wanted to come over and congratulate you on your happiness. I also found happiness with the man I met at your auction, so thanks for that."
I can’t tell if she is being sincere or not. I can feel my old jealousy returning, so before I can stop myself, I make a snide comment about her and Jim.
“I guess you and Jim didn’t work out, after all.”
She looks at me before saying, "Ugh, he was such a douche. I'm glad to be done with him!" she exclaims in disgust.
My eyes widen in surprise and I set my glass down. Brian watches us quietly.
"Tell me about it! I could have told you that, after he dumped me for you," I reply, trying to be less snide about it, but I can’t help it.
I'm not at all prepared for her reaction. She looks at me in confusion, then shock.
"He did?" she asks, the emotions ringing true in her words. "I honestly had no idea."
Her reaction is too genuine, so I believe her. Suddenly I realize that Sheila was right and that I was holding onto high school bitterness for no reason. It’s time for me to move on and forget what happened, just like Brian has done in his own situation.
He didn’t think he wanted any commitment because of being dumped in the past, but he let go of that fear in order to propose to me. It’s time for me to have my happiness.
Candy interrupts my thoughts with a quiet suggestion.
"Maybe we can work together to buy the business? With so many auctions happening now and people flying in from San Fran, and other large cities, there is going to be a lot of work and we are going to need a really big place. We are the leading two catering businesses, so maybe it's a good idea to team up?" she asks.
After a moment of thought, I reply, "No thanks, I’m fine on my own."
I have always been independent. I prefer it that way. It would be too awkward working with someone else. It took me a long time to trust the help I have now.
