PREFACE
Chad being my favorite, I’m excited that I was able to get this book to you. He drove me up the wall from the second the idea popped into my head. He can be relentless for sure!
As always, Chad got his way and got his very own book. Yes, it’s a short story, but it takes place between Raw Reunion and Dual Desires which leaves less than a week. It was enough to give you what Chad wanted to say.
This story begins where Raw Reunion ends. Chad is in the hallway of Giovanni and Crystal’s apartment. He knows he needs to get over Crystal so she can be happy.
That process began in the previous book when he accepted Maggie’s phone number at the pool hall. Read on to see how things play out.

CHAPTER ONE
When Chad McLoughlin walked into the hallway from Crystal Atkinson and Giovanni Saracino’s apartment, his mind was in the past.
It was Christmas morning. He had stopped by to give them very personal gifts. Crystal was his best friend, and they all were part of the band Triple Threat.
Because they had mentioned it briefly minutes earlier, he couldn’t stop thinking about the night with Crystal and his ex-girlfriend, Amy. They were in college back then. That had been his first threesome and the only one with two women involved.
His memory was sketchy, but he remembered being on top of one of them. For all those years, he hadn’t been able to let it go.
“Huh?” He looked up at his parents’ home. “How the hell did I get here?”
Although he had planned to go there next, he didn’t actually remember getting in his van. Obviously, he had been on autopilot. He double checked that he had the gifts he had purchased in the back.
“Whatever.”
After a brief greeting to his mother, he deposited the gifts near the tree. Then he ran upstairs and closed himself into his old room. It was almost bare since it was used for guests at that point. The location didn’t end his walk down memory lane.
Bits and pieces of that night years ago flashed by. He remembered drinking heavily. Crystal had kissed him and Amy. He was quite sure they undressed each other.
Did I fuck one of them? He couldn’t be sure. For years, his imagination had filled in the blanks. At that moment, it played out again as he wished it had happened.

Eyes closed, Chad felt four female hands on his skin. They had stripped him naked and explored his body while he laid on his bed.
Crystal’s breath tickled his ear, and he wrapped an arm around her. His fingers brushed over her skin. He knew she was naked, but they had asked him to keep his eyes shut. A pair of breasts pressed to his side, obviously Amy.
He forced Crystal against him as well. A groan escaped. Damn, they feel good.
A mouth covered the head of his cock, but he wasn’t sure who it was. Why’d they move? He reached out and fisted the hair at his crotch. Fuck! That’s Crystal. He moaned loudly. Suddenly, they switched around again. He glanced down and smiled. Crystal was under him.
“Crystal…” He ground his erection into her bare folds and sighed. “Please let me.”
She looked up at him with unfocused eyes. “I dunno.”
Amy sat next to them and ran her hands over their naked bodies. “She’s so wet for you. Just push it into her. She wants you. I wanna watch you fuck her.” She had two fingers inside Crystal.
Chad was able to think for a few seconds. “I can’t unless she agrees. I won’t force her.” He rocked his hips several more times. I can’t take much more. His eyes opened wide when Amy grasped his erection and forced it down.
“Push into her. I need to see you fuck her.”
The next move of his hips made him gasp. He sank into Crystal slowly. “God, Crystal.” He held her as close as possible as he buried himself fully. “I love you so much, my baby girl.”
Her nails dug into his skin as he pumped quickly. Oblivious to his girlfriend, he became lost in Crystal’s body. Time went by quickly. Out of nowhere, he pressed his hips to hers and groaned loudly. It felt amazing to fill her with his seed. That was a feeling he could never forget.
Suddenly, time fast forwarded. Crystal stood before him
with a swollen belly. He placed a hand on it and grinned. “Finally having my baby…”

“Chad?” His mother, Valerie, knocked on the door again. “Chad? You OK in there?” She tried the knob and it was locked.
With a jolt, Chad opened his eyes. “Uh… Uh… Yeah, Mom.” He glanced down his body at the erection in his pants. “Fell asleep. I’ll be right there.”
As soon as he heard her walk away, he unzipped his pants and released his painfully hard cock. Eyes closed again, he gripped it.
He didn’t have anything to use to make it easier, so he encouraged more pre-cum to expel. Normally, he produced a lot when it had been a while. It took a minute or so to have just enough to use it to slide his hand up and down easily.
Crystal’s naked body filled his head. Their last night together played like a movie. He felt her wrapped around him as she rode him again. Her back arched as she held his thighs. Damn, that was awesome. He wished she would do that to him again.
Maybe one day we’ll have another threesome. The image of him and Giovanni pounding Crystal in a New York City hotel room came back to him in a rush.
He loved how he had been able to take over and Giovanni just followed. His hand pumped quicker as he recalled how tight she was.
Just before he came, he shouted, “Shit!” As he winced, he covered his crotch with his shirt and rushed to the bathroom. “Idiot.”
Seconds later, he finished the job with a towel available to clean up. When he was done, he leaned his back on the door. Things had been quite difficult for him since he and Crystal had slept together days ago. It had done more damage than good for him.
After he had walked her home that night, he laid in bed alone and breathed in her scent. Every moment had played in his head like a movie repeatedly.
He was sure she meant it when she had said she loved him while he made love to her. In his heart, he felt it. Sex had never been so intense or emotional for him. It made it even harder to let her go.
Obviously, it had helped her say goodbye to him which hurt. He tried not to dwell on that, though.
It had taken some time to fall asleep, but then he dreamed of her all night. He had woken up and searched for her multiple times. His heart had sunk when he realized she wasn’t there.
In the morning, the blanket had still smelled like her. Since he hadn’t been able to shake her from his mind, he had masturbated to a video that he had taken of them in bed almost a year prior.
Since then, he had dreamed of her and what their life could have been. Sometimes he wasn’t even asleep. He really hoped the date he had the next day would take his mind off what he had lost.
Maybe it would even show him that life could be good without her in his arms. If it didn’t, he wasn’t sure what he would do.
He heard voices and his head snapped up. It sounded like his brothers had shown up. That meant he needed to go downstairs before Josh started to help in the kitchen and burned something. He was the only one of the boys who had a knack for cooking.
“You all right?” Valerie asked when Chad walked into the kitchen.
He looked up. “Yeah, Mom.”
“You sure?” She was concerned. It was obvious that he was heartbroken. She hated that he had never given up on Crystal and still lost her.
As always, he pretended to be fine. “Yep, don’t worry.” He scanned the room. “We should get started. Crystal was about to get ready when I left.”
“OK. You can check the ham and the bacon.”
He did as he was told. Then he set all the ingredients his mother would need for other dishes on the counter. Since the eggs wouldn’t take long, he wasn’t sure what to do next.
The doorbell was a relief. He needed something to keep his mind on reality. Every free second, his mind wandered into fantasy again. It had become quite annoying.
“Grandma!” Chad bent down and threw his arms around Grandma Joan’s shoulders. He glanced up. “Hi, Sam.” As soon as possible, he put a hand out to his grandmother’s boyfriend of five years. “Glad you guys’re here.”
Sam breathed in deeply. “Smells good in here.”
“Wait ’til the French toast is cooking.” Chad grinned. “Then this place’ll smell like heaven.” He stepped aside and waved them in. “Mom’s changing. She’ll be down in a few.”
Joan tapped his cheek a few times. “I don’t need your mom to show me to the living room.” She paused and look into his eyes. “Unless you need to talk. What happened today? Was Crystal here?”
“No.” He groaned softly. “Why do you guys think something’s wrong?”
She frowned at him. “Because you have that look in your eyes. I’ve seen it a hundred times. You’re not looking forward to seeing her?”
“I am.”
He backed up and headed to the kitchen. I can’t do this now. He knew his emotions were just at the surface. If she pushed, he might not be able to control the floodgates. When he noticed she had followed him, he sighed.
“She’s bringing him, so I’m not so happy.”
Joan knew exactly what he meant. “You hoped that she would come here, and he would go to see his family. Right?”
“Well, yeah.” He swallowed hard. “She’s... uh... well, she’s special to me.”
She laid a hand on his arm. “I know, honey.” She had never let on that his feelings were so obvious. He wore his heart on his sleeve. “She’s quite a special girl. Let’s get to cooking.”
CHAPTER TWO
At about noon, Chad opened the oven and checked the ham he had glazed. His parents’ kitchen was filled with the brown sugar scent instantly. It was almost ready.
On the stove burners were a few dishes he and his mother were also making for the brunch. He checked each of those as well.
He had taken over the cooking duties to distract himself. His mind was still cluttered with memories. Some were quite painful.
A glance at the clock told him that Crystal would be there soon. Although he looked forward to seeing her, he wasn’t sure he could keep his hands to himself. The urge to touch her plagued him constantly.
Just outside, Giovanni and Crystal walked up the steps to Chad’s childhood home. Her parents had moved to California, but she had hoped to spend some holidays with them. That year would not be one of them.
She had nothing to worry about, though. Giovanni and Chad’s families would do their best to make up for it.
Giovanni rang the bell while he held a bag of gifts in the other hand. He smiled at Crystal. It was the first Christmas in a long time that he had someone special to spend it with. His life had changed so much since they met.
He never thought he would find love, but he had. She was everything he could ever ask for. The only thing that came between them was Chad. It had lessened considerably, but there were times he still worried.
“Who’s gonna be here?” He heard multiple voices behind the door.
She shivered. It looked like it was about to snow. “I think just his brothers and maybe Grandma Joan.”
Chad ran to the door from the kitchen. Most of his extended family lived in New York, and none of them had made the trip to Southwest New Jersey. When he opened the door, his eyes landed on Crystal.
“You’re here!” When he noticed that she wore the earrings he had bought her for Christmas, his heart swelled. He wore her gift as well. The custom engraved guitar charm was something he would treasure forever. “Grandma Joan brought Sam.”
“Are they ever gonna get married?” Crystal laughed.
With a grin, Chad leaned down and kissed her cheek. “I doubt it. She’s stubborn.” He stepped aside and waved them in. “You know where everything is.”
“Merry Christmas, everyone!” Crystal shouted when she walked in.
After Crystal had set the fruit salad they made on the kitchen table, both of Chad’s parents hugged her. She smiled. Luke and Valerie thought of her as a daughter.
Their families had lived next
door to each other for many years before Crystal’s parents moved away. The hug took away a bit of the sadness.
It wasn’t easy to spend holidays without her family. When she stepped back, the scent of French toast, bacon and sausage hit her.
Valerie made the best French toast in Crystal’s eyes. She always served it with fruit toppings and powdered sugar like a pancake restaurant would.
Giovanni had stayed in the living room, where he set down two shopping bags of gifts. He wasn’t sure how to fend off Grandma Joan. She pinched his cheeks then she went for his ass. He blushed profusely as she ran her hands over his chest.
“Uh, I need to check on Crystal.”
“She’s fine.” Joan winked at him. “I may need a younger model soon. Do you guys swing?”
His mouth fell. “Huh?”
“I knew that’d shock you.” She slapped his ass. “Good boy.” She turned to the kitchen. “Crystal, I approve.” In her heart, she still wished Crystal had chosen her grandson, Chad.
Crystal turned toward the living room. She could tell Giovanni was a bit freaked out. I shoulda warned him. She hurried to him and smiled. “Thanks, Grandma Joan. I’m kinda committed.” She waved her left hand in the air.
“You’re engaged?” Joan took Crystal’s hand and admired the ring. “Doubly impressed. Getting married so young.”
Giovanni cleared his throat. “Are you coming to the wedding? It’s in Vegas, on Valentine’s Day.”
“Well...” Joan grinned widely. “Vegas? You know I’m there.”
Chad stood next to the stove and stared at Crystal. Although he had promised to move on, he knew it wouldn’t be easy. The date with Maggie the next day was to prove to Crystal that he was trying. He hoped he could go through with it.
