Chasing Chad Page 10

by Jeanisse, Bella

Unable to resist, he leaned down and captured her lips. Without her heels, it wasn’t as easy. Carefully, he lifted her up and pressed her back to the wall. Unsteady, he held her tightly. She grabbed his face and mashed their lips together.

When the wet head of his cock rubbed her inner thigh, she shivered. How am I gonna take that thing, though? She wasn’t sure, but she definitely wanted to try. “Fuck me,” she whispered.

“Yeah.” Chad dragged his lips over her jaw and to her neck. “I need to fuck you, Crystal.”

  “What? What’d you call me?”

Instant sobriety came over Chad. “I’m so sorry.”

“Put me down.” Maggie struggled, angry as hell.

He swore she was Crystal when she had said that. “I’m drunk anyway. We shouldn’t.”

“You gotta be kidding me,” she muttered as he set her on her feet. “What does he see in that damn bitch anyway?” She snatched her panties and put them back on. “Forget it. Guess you don’t want me.”

When they stepped into the hallway, it was just before midnight. Chad stumbled as he tried to keep up with her. “Wait a minute. Let me explain.”

She turned. “Explain what? That you want me to be her? That she means more to you than anyone? I figured all that out.”

“No.” He grunted with frustration. “Well, kinda, but not what I wanna tell you.” He grabbed her arm to stop her. “Just listen. This ain’t easy for me. I loved her all of my adult life. I’m trying my best.”

She fought tears. The fling with him wasn’t anything she had imagined it would be. “Obviously, I’m not good enough.”

“You are.” He tugged her into his arms. She has to be. “Gimme time to let her go completely.” That’d take a miracle. The countdown started throughout the condo. He looked around at all the happy faces. “One more chance. Please.”

“Three, two, one… Happy New Year!”

Chad leaned down and pressed his lips to hers. He held her close and gripped her ass. Visions of past New Year’s Eves filled his mind.

He had always kissed Crystal at midnight. The year before, they were fucking at midnight. They both came just as the fireworks started. It was the best night they’d had together.

“I love you so much, my baby girl.” His eyes widened. Damn! Not again! He backed away slowly.

Fury had filled her. “Chance blown.” She ran to the gym and grabbed her coat then she headed for the exit.

Still stunned, Chad didn’t realize what had happened until she passed him. “Wait, Maggie!” He rushed toward her.

“Why? I’m so revolting that you need to think of her when you kiss me.” She scowled at him. “You wanna make it up to me? Let’s leave and go back to my place. Then you fuck me until I say we’re done.”

Chad stared at her slack-jawed. “Why your place?”

“Because you refuse to step inside.” That really bothered her. “And you won’t tell me the truth about why.”

“Why does it mean so much to you?” Chad didn’t understand. When she tried to walk away again, he grabbed her arm. “I thought you said we could just talk.” That was the biggest reason he had agreed to the first date.

Tears fell down her cheeks. “Is going to my place that awful?”

“I just can’t.” Chad hung his head down. He couldn’t trust her.

She wiped at her eyes. Then she noticed Crystal behind him. “It’s because I’m not her. Isn’t it? You’ll never be able to fuck me, will you?”

“Why d’ we have to move so fast?”

“I’m going, Chad. Let her take you home.” Maggie walked out alone.

He watched her leave and relief washed over him. It didn’t make much sense, but he didn’t really care. What he wanted was a stiff drink. Something that would make him forget that week ever happened.

Crystal approached him slowly. “You OK?”

He turned to her. “Yeah, I guess. We’re leaving in a few weeks anyway.”

“True.” She slipped her arms around his waist. He towered over her, even in her heels. “I’m sorry, though.”

He hugged her back, grateful for the comfort. “Thanks.”

“Happy New Year.” She reached up and kissed his lips softly. It was something she had not done since they had ended their affair.

He sighed. “Yeah, same to you, my baby girl. Things have to get better. Don’t they?”

“They will. You’ll see.” She pulled away and looked up. It broke her heart to see him sad. “Where’s Chris?”

Chad met her watery eyes. “He left already. I can get a ride with Jon or Dominic. Don’t worry about me. Go to Giovanni and have fun. Please.” He faked a smile.

She also forced a smile. With concern, she touched his cheek. “If you need me, I’m here. OK?” She could never abandon him.

“I know you are. Go. Please. I’m fine. I swear.”

The lie was blatant, but she understood what he meant. She couldn’t push him. That normally backfired.

When she was gone, he made a beeline for the dining room. Sam was behind the bar. “Can I have a bottle of Jack?”

  Sam’s eyebrow rose. “Bad night?”

“You could say that.” Chad’s eyes drifted to the counter. “It’s my own fault.”

With a smirk, Sam asked, “Was it something with that Maggie chick?”

  “Yeah.”

Sam frowned. “Sorry to tell you, but that chick’s a bit crazy. She was showing Phil her tits that night we played D and D. I heard she felt up Giovanni, too.”

“She left me anyway.” Chad was glad it had happened before it was too late. “Guess it’ll be me and my hand for a while longer.” He took the bottle Sam handed him. “Thanks. I’m gonna go drown myself in the kitchen so I can’t get in much trouble.”

Crazy Mike looked up when Chad walked into the kitchen. “Hey, I’m glad I found you again. Chris left before he could talk to you about that chick you brought here.”

“She’s gone.” Chad sat down and sighed. “I think she just wants in my pants.”

Mike scowled. “Obviously, you don’t know her very well. She wanted that and to hang onto you. Chris kicked her out of his place when she stole his keys. She’s crazy, but a good fuck. Drop her ass quick before she fucks with your life.”

“Thanks.” Chad took a swig from the bottle in his hand. “I’m not really into her anyway.”

After a while, Dominic found Chad at the kitchen table. “Heard she left after you had a fight.”

Chad glanced up. “Yeah, I called her Crystal twice, sorta.” He took another swig from the bottle. “Whatever. She just wanted in my pants… I think.”

“Really?” Dominic couldn’t help but laugh. “Not many guys would be unhappy about that. I think at this party, just me and you.” He sat across from Chad. “Is that all?”

Unsure, Chad shrugged. He took another drink then laid his head on his arm. “Maybe I’m just lonely.”

Dominic nodded. “I’m sure you are. Don’t worry. Things are about to change. You’ll have girls chasing you the entire tour.”

  DUAL DESIRES

  Triple Threat book 7

When my fiancé Giovanni Saracino and I stepped out of the elevator, I clung to his arm tightly. Tommy Fischer of Gasoline had invited us to his New Year’s Eve party.

We walked down the hall on the top floor as I reminisced about the place. I had lived there for a time, so I knew the secure building well.

Tommy had told me there would be mostly big name musicians and other celebrities there. I was nervous as hell that I would get star struck. Yet I was excited to be on the guest list.

Our band, Triple Threat, had recently released our first album. I played bass and Giovanni drums. We were well-known in our town, but were not remotely famous like Gasoline.

That day was also Gasoline’s lead guitarist, Dominic Spinelli’s, birthday. We had gotten him a set of custom guitar picks with his name on them. I hoped he liked them.
/>   He had become somewhat of a mentor for me. Dominic was laid back and fatherly. He made me feel at ease no matter the circumstances.

My hands shook. I knew there would be many I did not know. Strangers made me anxious. Although I had come a long way since a fan had attacked me, I couldn’t help but step back when a man I didn’t recognize approached.

“Crystal, it’s OK.” Giovanni took my coat. “They’re just people like you and me.” I took a deep breath as he knocked on the door.

Tommy opened the door with his girlfriend, Hailey DeCort, on his arm. Subtly, I looked Tommy over. It was a black-tie event. At least the invitation had said so. However, he wore dress pants and a button-down shirt, opened at the collar. His tattoos enhanced the look.

He never wore a tuxedo. Then again, neither did Giovanni. He had dressed quite the same, except with boots on his feet.

“Glad you guys could come.” Tommy stepped back into the foyer. “Holy shit! You look hot in that dress.” Hailey glared at him for a few seconds. “What? She does. You think I’m blind?” Her eye roll was almost funny. “You think she’s hot, too. Don’t even pretend.”

“So do I.” Giovanni was glad to be able to show me off that night.

“Hi, Hailey.” I smiled at her, and she looked me over, as always. I finally started to relax.

When Giovanni had seen the dress I wore at the store, he insisted I try it on. I had been hesitant because of how much skin it showed off. He had been adamant about it, so I bought it.

It was deep blue, like my eyes. With a plunging neckline in front and back, spaghetti straps and a very close fit. As soon as I stepped out of the dressing room, I knew it was perfect. His jaw dropped, and so did the husband of another customer.

At a party with celebrities, I knew it would give me an edge. That way I fit in.

“Really shows off your tits, babe.” Tommy kissed my cheek and whispered, “Wanna fuck you in this dress.” He and his girlfriend had an open relationship as Giovanni and I did. “We’ll talk later.” Tommy and Hailey quickly headed toward his bedroom.

Chad, the lead guitarist of our band and my best friend, came over to us with Maggie, his new girlfriend. “Hey, baby. Giovanni.” He held her hand but did not stand too close. “You look absolutely beautiful.”

“Thank you. You look stunning.” I didn’t usually use that word, but he looked more handsome than ever. In a tuxedo, he blew me away. It took all of my willpower not to allow desire to build for him.

Maggie’s fingers wove into his long, blonde curls. “He does, doesn’t he?”

I smiled at her. “He really knows how to dress. Didn’t mean to overlook you. Your dress is elegant, Maggie. And it’s nice to see you again.”

“Thanks. You, too. But that dress makes the rest of us look like little girls. You’re drop dead gorgeous.”

  I blushed slightly. “Wow! Thanks.”

She pulled me aside. “Tyler Gunn from Brass Monkey is here. Oh my God. I love him!” He was their vocalist.

With a slight laugh, I replied, “You sound like me when I met Craig and James.” They were Brass Monkey’s rhythm guitarist and drummer respectively.

“Crystal.” Chad put a hand on my arm. “Walk around and talk to people. Everyone’s pretty cool.”

Giovanni took my hand again. “Come on.”

We walked into the huge living room, which had chairs set up all around. Whoever had organized the room for the party, made the most of every square foot.

I spotted Jon Harris, Gasoline’s drummer, and Dominic in the kitchen. Noelle Young, singer of Winter Winds, held Dominic’s hand. It was nice to see him happy.

Jon had his arm around Emma Price’s shoulders. She was his new girlfriend and the mother of his teenage son, Sean, who was not in attendance.

After we had met everyone there, we both got a drink and sat near the front door. I found it a bit odd that Giovanni had passed on alcohol and had ordered an energy drink. He did have to drive, though.

Guests continued to arrive, and the place had become quite loud. I finally relaxed and was able to talk to most of the band members with ease, with a few exceptions, Tyler Gunn included. The well-known actors, not so much.

“Babe.” Tommy was suddenly next to me with a hand on my bare back. “Craig’s been looking for you.”

I glanced at Giovanni, who was with Dominic and Vince, Gasoline’s Production Manager. Then I turned to Tommy and whispered, “You know I can’t.”

He picked up my hand and pulled me to his room. “So ask Giovanni. He let me do you. If Hailey didn’t show, I’d ask him if I could fuck you right now. Damn that pussy of yours.”

I walked over to the window and looked out at the beach. “I don’t think he’d agree to that tonight.”

  “Agree to what?” Giovanni asked.

Quickly, I turned around to see him in the room with us. “Tommy was just being Tommy.”

“A horny bastard?” Giovanni grinned. “Are we ringing in the new year with a threesome?”

My mouth opened. However, I lost my train of thought, surprised Giovanni was almost on the money. “Um, kinda.”

“Craig wants to fuck her,” Tommy blurted out.

Giovanni’s eyebrows rose. “Craig Hansen? Damn!”

  “She wants him, too.”

  “Tommy!” I shouted angrily.

“What? You do!” Tommy shrugged his shoulders. “Just let him fuck her once and get it outta his system.”

Giovanni sighed. “I can’t just let him have her. She’s gonna be my wife soon.” We were to be married on Valentine’s Day when the Reign of Fire tour stopped in Las Vegas.

“So what?” Tommy put a hand on his shoulder. “You let me fuck her.”

“I’m there, too. It’s not the same thing. Think he’d do a threesome?”

I looked from one of them to the other and hoped for a yes. My core clenched from just the thought of it. “Will he?” I cried out after what felt like forever with no response.

“You really want it don’t you?” Giovanni came to me and pulled me into his arms. “I’ll convince him. OK? But I’m getting your ass, got it?”

I lifted my head and looked into his eyes. “You sure?”

“I can deal with almost any guy… but Chad. With him there’s a connection. With the others, there ain’t. Anyway, I’d love to be able to tell someone like him what he can and can’t do to you.”

  WICKED END

  Wicked End book 1

“Ugh! You dick!” Mackenzie Winters screamed as she slapped Brett across the face. She wanted to punch him, but she didn’t want him to possibly bring charges against her. “If you ever touch me again, I’ll sue your ass and tell Winston what a slime ball you really are.” She easily took on men twice her size without batting an eye.

Brett froze in the hallway of their Dallas hotel. They were about to leave for home. “How can you refuse me?” He grabbed her left wrist. “No one says no to me.” He yanked her closer.

“Fuck off, you disgusting son of a bitch!” She slugged him in the eye, and he jumped back.

He cried out and held his face in his hands. “You’re so lucky we’re not alone.” He knew there were a few witnesses that she had only defended herself.

“And you’re lucky I didn’t punch you hard.” She seethed. “Try me, and I’ll break your pretty little nose.” She laughed when he back pedaled and tripped over his luggage. “Keep the fuck away from me.”

She stormed toward the elevator, filled with rage. They had been there to teach a cold calling class

It was a Thursday afternoon in the middle of August, so she had been there most of the week. Her company had recruited her to be a part-time trainer because she brought in the most new investment clients per week. Glad that’s fucking over!

Her mind drifted back a few days. On the flight there, Brett had noticed her freaking out and held her hand. She had been too terrified to pull it away.

That had given him the opportunity to pull her closer an
d try to kiss her. The slap to the face had startled him, but he was a persistent bastard. If he weren’t the only full time trainer in the southeast at her company, she would ask to work with someone else.

When she found herself outside of the hotel, she quickly climbed into a taxi. Her company had paid for everything on that trip. Most times she liked the fancy hotel rooms.

However, that trip had been a nightmare. Their boss, Winston, would get an earful when she arrived. Thankfully, she wasn’t headed home to Fort Lauderdale.

Once through airport security, she got a cup of coffee and relaxed in a chair. She hoped the flight was smooth. Planes made her nervous.

Technically, it was the takeoff and landing that frightened her. The shaking urged her imagination to go places it shouldn’t when thousands of feet above ground.

She sighed and pulled out her phone. There was a text from Brandon Knight, lead guitarist of Wicked End. A grin spread across her face. He could light up the darkest day. The only reason she was traveling back to Baltimore instead of Fort Lauderdale was to see him.

It had been months since their last rendezvous because they hadn’t been free at the same time. She wished they still lived in the same city. Things were simpler back then.

When Brandon was available, he gave her relief from all her needs at once. Sex with him satisfied her on a level that no one could come close to. It was as if he soothed her body, heart and soul.

It was quite amazing that 12 years later, they still had the same passion for each other. Even a quick fuck against the wall brought forth emotions in her that no one else created.

She had no idea why or how he did it, but she never wanted to let him go. Any excuse to spend time with him, she took it. Even if it was only a few hours. One day, she hoped they could have a week or so to explore what it was that he gave her.

Mackenzie wiped a tear from her eye. Even when he was miles away, Brandon affected her. A brief thought of a terrible day many years ago came to her. The day she knew her father was gone.

If not for Brandon, she had no clue how she would have gotten through that day or her teenage years. She shook off the memory, not wanting to cry alone. Then she glanced down at her phone’s screen.
