Tate shrugged as Silas handed him a wet washcloth and he wiped the blood spots off his arms.

Cobra smiled at him, a huge slow smile.

Tate caught his look and raised his hands. “He isn’t dead. He’s just... a little scuffed up, maybe.”

Cobra bit at his lip. He never thought the man would kill him in cold blood, not like he would have, but this made him feel a bit better. It was one thing to let the law have these bastards, but another to let them get away with hurting women.

Tate nodded as he didn’t hesitate nor did he ask Cobra any questions. He simply turned and headed down the hall to the meeting room most MC’s called church.

Everyone followed and there was barely enough room for everyone.

Cobra stood up and faced the group. “I called an old friend of mine. Gunner runs an MC in Jasper called the Savaged Souls. I figured since we want to go into his territory, we should at least be polite and ask his permission. Now Gunner and his boys are primarily bounty hunters and they are good. They are fair but just that if you know what I mean. They can find anybody they want to at any time. I mentioned this man Bonner to them and Gunner definitely wants a piece of this action. He’s been watching the man for a couple of years now but hasn’t been able to get anything on him. Bonner hides his underground activities very well. We need to find something, anything that will link this man to the skin trade and Gunner said the mission will be a go.”

He turned to Tate. “I know you said you didn’t want to keep the money Racer and Bandit hid but would you consider paying Gunner for his services using part of their money?”

“If they can find this fucker and get Becky back, I’ll pay them very well.” Tate didn’t even hesitate a moment before he gave his answer.

“Good, because Gunner hates the skin trade as much as you and me. I told my boys if they find this club, to free the girls and burn the place down to hide the bodies they leave behind.”

Tate raised an eyebrow but didn’t say anything.

“I want to send two men over to Jasper tonight. With Gunner’s men that should be enough and we don’t want to pour in there enmass. That would only alert Bonner and I don’t want him to see us coming until we’re breaking down his fucking front door. Our best chance of rescuing Becky and the other girls is surprise.”

Tate nodded. “I agree with you. Harry and Annie are working to track him down so as soon as they find a lead, your men can go.”

“We still need to tie him to the trade,” Cobra reminded him. “We can’t just go on a prisoner’s word.”

“Well Racer did say he sold Becky to the man. Can’t you go on that?” Creed wanted to know.

Daniel walked over to the box on the table. It held all the items Jett had taken from the two men he found watching the compound, looking for Racer. He thought maybe there would be a link to Bonner among their things. He began pawing through the items in the box. There were a couple of guns, a couple of knives and three cell phones.

He frowned as he stared at the three cell phones. Why would two men need three cell phones? He checked the numbers in the directories. One was listed under Jeff Paul’s name. The second phone was listed under Randal White’s name and the third phone was a burner phone.

He checked the directory and there was only one phone number listed. He looked up at his father, “Dad, we may have found that link Cobra was talking about.”

Everyone turned to stare at him.

Tate walked over to him and asked, “What do you mean?”

Daniel held up the phone. “There’s only one number in this phone. I’m betting it Bonner’s number and after the two downstairs hit Racer, they were supposed to call it in.” His fingers tightened on the phone. “If this is Bonner’s number wouldn’t that link him?”

“How can we trace the number?” Cobra wanted to know. “And yeah, that would link him at least to a possible murder charge. It might be enough for Gunner.”

“Let’s ask Harry and Annie to find out who this number belongs too.” Tate suggested.

Jack left the room and a moment later Harry and Annie joined them. Harry had a computer with him, as did Annie. They both worked on finding the number.

A few minutes later, Annie looked up and smiled. “This number belongs to a man named Douglas Bonner. It’s a business line and it’s a direct line to his business account at Shady Willows Hotels, located in Woodville, Texas.”

Cobra nodded. “That’s a start and Woodville isn’t that far from Jasper.”

“So the man runs his clubs under the guise of a legit business,” Thor said the words out loud.

“That doesn’t make the man legit.” Cobra growled. “Just makes him a lowlife covering his ass.”

“No it doesn’t,” Thor admitted. “But I’ve heard rumors about that line of hotels. Bonner and his business partners too. I just never put the two together until now.”

“This could be what Gunner would call a connection,” Cobra stated. “What were the rumors about?”

“Something about a connection to the Mexican cartels.”

Cobra shook his head. “Well damn, nothing is easy about this is it?”

“It never is my friend, it never is,” Tate surmised. “Better make sure this Gunner is still on board with us or we might not get his help.”

Cobra nodded then walked out of the room. When he came back into the room twenty minutes later he had a smile on his face. “Gunner said bring it on. He’s been looking for a reason to bust that chain of hotels for a while now. There was never any evidence they could use before and he hates the fact the cartel is doing business here. He wants to clean out the drug trade in Jasper and this is all he needs to do it.”

Cobra issued orders to the two men he wanted to send over to Jasper. His best men were Thor and Jett. As soon as he got them on their way, he looked over at Tate. “By the time they get there, Gunner will have verified the info we sent him and they will be ready to hit the club before daybreak. They’ll have five hours to do all that which will get my boys there just in time to crack some heads and find the girl.”

“And your boys are ok with that?” Tate asked.

Cobra shrugged. “My boys have been known to get bloody once in a while. But only for a just cause. And only on my orders. We aren’t killers but we will stand up when the situations calls for it. This is one situation that calls for it. Besides, Gunner wants the credit for this hunt and I’m ok with that.”

Tate nodded. “So am I. The skin trade makes my skin crawl.”

“Now I guess we wait.” Cobra shrugged.

“Now we deal with the FBI,” Harry corrected him. “Quint is almost here.”

Tate thought about what he was going to do for a minute then nodded. “We can turn the three men downstairs over to him along with the other duffle of money that belongs to Racer. Doubletap can tell him what he knows about Bandit and Snake and we don’t touch the Jasper deal. We can use Bandit’s money to pay for Gunner’s help and that should tie everything up in a nice neat bow. Bandit and Snake aren’t going to need the money anyway where they’re going. At least until the next deal Bandit had going pops up.”

“Damn...” Harry sighed. “You think he has more... messes I mean?”

Tate looked up and around the place. “He’s a fucking double dealing coward and a backstabbing liar.” He nodded. “Yeah there’s more.”

Cobra nodded. “If we get this done right. He will stay behind bars this time.”

Tate went into the main room after Church. He spotted Nita as she was laughing with Lola. He headed over and grabbed her up from the chair.

“Oh! Tate?” She stared at him as he swung her around and headed down the hall while carrying her in his arms.

He said not a word as he heard the sound of chuckling follow them. He could care less about what anyone thought.

He kicked the door open, then used his foot to kick it shut. He headed not for the bed but for the shower. He needed one and he wanted to treat his woman with
a detailed rub down, his kind of rub down.

“Shower,” he stated and set her down on the tiled floor. He then reached down and tugged a boot off, then the other.

Nita stood watching him her eyes still wide.

When he stood up, he reached over and tore her buttoned blouse open. Some of the buttons flew off and made little taps on the floor.

Nita gasped but made not a move.

“You will never wear this again, or anything you wore while in their clutches.” He lowered it from her shoulders. Next, he reached down, unsnapped her pants and unzipped them. “These either.”

Nita just stood there smiling at him now.

He gladly tugged them further until the jean material passed her lovely curving hips. They dropped to the floor in a puddle of clothing at her feet and he stepped back to gaze at her.

Nita flushed and her cheeks went pink.

He grasped her bra and tugged it up and off her head as her breasts bounced free. He stared at them and licked his lips. “Every night in that cave, I relived all the moments I had with you.” His eyes roved over her skin. Then as if it were now a theme he reached sown and grasped her panties, lowering them down along her thighs as he kept talking, “Once I remembered you. Your face, your scent your eyes. The taste of you,” he spoke as he now shucked his shirt. “It got me through the worst nights and the most awful of days.” Next, he tugged his boxers and jeans off, all while speaking to her in that low deep tone, “My sanity was you. Every night, you were in my mind’s eye, in my dreams.”

Her eyes grew even rounder as she shivered a bit. Tears shone there in her gaze.

He grasped her face with both hands. “I only ever loved one woman in my whole life—you.”

Nita paled and raised her shaky hands up over her mouth.

“No one will ever take you away from me, again.”

Nita laugh-cried as she nearly lunged from the floor and jumped up on him.

Tate caught her and sat her straight down onto his cock. Straight fucking to it. No play... all pleasure. This was business all right. The business he wanted to be in for the rest of his natural life, being inside of Nita.

  “Ahhh...” She moaned with pleasure.

He lifted her up and ground her back down. Delve into that velvet sweetness till I pass out.

Her hands rose up to cover her scream, he yanked them down and her shout of ecstasy rent the air. He moved his lips to hers. “I wanna hear every moan and every response, do you hear me?”

Seemingly helpless while her body quaked, Nita panted as her chest heaved and she nodded.

He raised her hips slowly up while their eyes remained locked, then he lowered her down with a slamming force.

Nita threw her head back and released a full blown yell.

Tate smiled at this as he pumped her up and down while she moaned and cried aloud. Her sounds drove him crazy and her wet silken pussy felt as glorious as always, sheathing him so perfectly. This woman was made for me, as I am for her. He pounded her sweet body and he knew he could do it for as long as she wanted. “Let me hear it, sweet Nita...” he whispered to her ear. “Scream for me.”

Her body was already coiling with her oncoming orgasm. “Ahh! Oh! Oh, God!” she shouted as she climaxed. “Tate...”

Her pussy tightened around him and he throbbed inside of her. Tate felt himself coming with her and he latched onto her mouth with all that he felt, kissing her until they were both breathless from it.

The steam from the shower fogged up the room and their hair was pasted to their foreheads. He finally removed his mouth from hers and looked into her eyes, while they both were still sweating and panting. “I am sorry that...”

Nita was trying to catch her breath as her eyes met his.

He growled. “That I failed you and someone got to you.”

Her mouth rounded with a stunned O. “Oh, my god, my sweet tough biker man. You never failed me. Never.” She grabbed his face and kissed his cheeks, his nose, his forehead and his chin. “All this time I never knew about you, but deep down I always... felt you. Here in my heart.” She placed her hand over her chest. “You were always there.”

Tate shook his head. “And you were there with me in that cave.”

“Well, I have never lived in one, but I would with you.” Her laughter rang out.

He grinned. “No, I think I’ve had enough caves in my life.” He swung her around and opened the shower door.

  “What are you doing now?”

Stepping in, he shut the door. “I intend to explore every inch of you.”

She gazed up at him her eyes sparkling with joy. “Really?”

Nodding his head, he grabbed a washcloth. “Oh yes, you are getting the special treatment.”

Nita was trembling again when he brought the washcloth down between her legs. “Oh, and what might that be?”

He lowered his mouth to a luscious nipple. “I am going to make you come until you pass out cold.”

Her laughter erupted again and when he latched onto her nipple, it stopped as her body arched back.

Tate knew he would take his time and devour her from tip to toe. Then clean her up, take her to their bed, and place her down beside him, where she belonged. He would keep her next to him...where she belonged.

  Chapter Twelve

It was just before dawn the next morning when Quint and his men loaded the prisoners up in the back of the armored van they brought with them. They had enough evidence to convict all three of them with crimes that they would serve the rest of their lives in prison for. The two men Jett had found had federal warrants out in their names and Racer was wanted for crimes other than the murder of his business partner, James. The fact they recovered at least some of the money in question would go a long way to convict him.

Racer tried to tell the FBI that Tate had beaten him up and burned most of the other bag he had but Quint shut him down and told him kidnapping Tate’s wife was another crime they could add to the list.

When Doubletap told them about Bandit ad Snake, they moved quickly enough to secure his records and gather the evidence he had to add to what they already had. They needed him to make a statement so they took him along with them but promised he’d be freed after they got what they needed.

When he walked out of the clubhouse, Creed joined him. “You better come back when you’re done man.” Creed stared at his ex-cellmate.

Doubletap stopped and looked at him. “You want me back here?”

“We want you back here.” Creed nodded.

“Why? I took your mom and held her for almost a day under Racer’s orders.”

“No he took her, you helped her and you brought her back, even thinking we were going to kill you for what you did. You kept her safe when she needed it. You protected her from a man who would have killed her to get what he wanted.” Shaking his head he said, “I made you a promise in prison and now it’s time for you to collect it. You’ve got a place here with us if you want it. MC isn’t for every one but it could be for you if you give it a chance. You could find something here with us you never had much of before. A family.”

Doubletap grinned. “I’ll think about it.” Reaching out his hand, they shook.

Creed grinned. “Besides, Dad’s got the money Racer owed you. Plus a little interest.”

“I thought he turned the money over to the FBI?” Doubletap frowned.

“There might have been a little left in the first bag that he didn’t burn,” Creed explained with a shrug. “We won’t use it for the MC but Racer did owe you.”

“You guys going legit then huh?” he asked his friend.

“Yup we are.” Creed nodded. “We started out legit and now we’re starting over. It worked once and we don’t mess with something that ain’t broke.”

“I’ve had enough with just getting by in life,” Doubletap admitted. “Maybe I will come back and hang out for a while. Maybe I’ll even start my own business someday.”

  “Doing what?”

“Got an idea for a custom bike I’d like to build.”

Creed grinned. “Good, the world can always use a custom bike.”

“Later man.” Doubletap waved as he turned to follow Quint to the van. “I’ll be back.”

Creed turned and joined his family in the clubhouse. He found his woman sitting by herself in the almost empty main room and sat down beside her. Pulling her on his lap, he asked where everyone else was.

“They all went to bed,” Lola told him. “I waited for you to come back.”

“Aww... thank you baby.” He leaned over and kissed her.

Lola opened her mouth and kissed him. When she broke the kiss, she leaned into the shelter of his arms and sighed.

Creed looked down at her and wondered what was bothering her. “What’s up sweetheart?”

“Is the MC always this busy?”

Creed thought about her question. “Not normally why? We had to get it back and find out what was going on behind the scenes. We’re trying to get our shit together to start all over. But once the transition is over, things should settle down. Why?”

“Do you want kids?” she asked him out of the blue.

Creed thought about it for a minute then admitted, “Yeah, I do someday.” He looked a little closer at her face. “Why?”

“Well Harry and Annie are having one and Jack and Kalinda already have one... I was just wondering that’s all.”

“That’s all?” he repeated her explanation. “Are you sure that’s all?’ he asked.

“Well, we haven’t been together very long but we’ve never used protection, so I was just wondering if you wanted kids or not.”

“Do you want kids?” he asked.

Lola smiled. “Yes, I want kids. I was always so lonely growing up. There were always kids in the foster home but I never felt like they were someone I could turn to for anything. I stayed to myself cuz it was better that way. But yeah, I always wanted someone special that I could claim as mine.”

“You got me.” He smiled at her.
