"I thought that matter was finished?"

It was very clear that they had never heard of it before.

They thought that the Music sisters had already ended the conflict with Mu Clan.

Silver Wolf cast a glance at the surprised expressions among the higher ups of Towering Palace before he said, "It seems like you two either forgot plenty of matters or you treat our requests as nothing but nonsense.

"You personally promised that you will capture the mastermind behind Three Dragons Guild and hand him over to Mu Clan for us to deal with him so this matter would come to an end.

"Nothing was resolved for now, and you have already decided to interfere with Mu Clan's matters again. Do you think that we would not dare attack you?"

"The people from Three Dragons Guild have stopped appearing in the Chinese server!" Clear Music walked out from the crowd and raised her voice with anger on her face. "How am I supposed to be responsible for this?!"

When she finished speaking, regardless of whether it was Shangguan Lian, Hai Dongqing, the other elites in Towering Palace, or the various great players from the other sects around the branch, all of them s.u.c.k.e.d in sharp breaths.

They now had a vague idea of the reason why Mu Clan decided to enter Yangzhou.

Before one problem ended, another rose.

Towering Palace had not even finished dealing with the slew of unfinished business that they had before rushing to the fore and taking the initiative to place their necks under Mu Clan's blades.

If they did not cut down Towering Palace, who should they cut down?

There was only one word to describe them: Nosy!

Quite a number of people in the crowd had gone through the battle at the p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e boat, and they knew that there were indeed people from Goryeo's Bright Sword Sect at that time. Clear Music's words also indirectly verified that she had pleaded for mercy.

Many of the people who originally thought that the situation was unfair for Towering Palace instantly fell silent.

The palace had provided protection for the enemy of Mu Clan's master, and this alone was enough for Happy to start a fight with Towering Palace.

"How did these two reckless women push Towering Palace into the ranks of the four top-class sects in China?"

The gentle-looking middle-aged man had a sentimental look on his face while he shook his head discreetly.

If Happy were in the area, he would definitely say, "In my previous life, there was no Towering Palace in the Chinese server. There were also no Music sisters."

Those within Towering Palace knew that all of it was because of a change in attitude.

Once Towering Palace gained increasingly dazzling achievements and status, Clear Music lost her initial caution and stopped making careful advances step by step. She was not as experienced as Dream Clouds, who knew when to make the most correct decisions no matter what the situation was and what she needed the most in each situation.

The glory of being the leader of one of the four top-class sects had resulted in Clear Music forgetting some things.

Musical Note had also not completely grown out of her sister's wings and become independent.

There were two masters in one palace, and at that moment, Towering Palace was in a very dangerous situation.

The young man from Dragon Sect who had been silent all for a while suddenly chuckled. "Boss, before we came here, I've been thinking about whether a safe environment or a chaotic environment will be the best for Dragon Sect's growth in China. Now, I've come to my answer."

Chapter 729 - Man in Black Visits

The astonishing news of Mu Clan building their branch in Yangzhou spread through all of Changjiang on the day itself.

The news of Towering Palace's Musical Note and Clear Music personally coming over to interrogate Silver Wolf on the day the branch was built had also spread like wildfire. The hostile conversation caused quite a lot of unrest in the world of martial artists.

Many of the rather famous sect alliances secretly added forces to the coastal area.

If Mu Clan and Towering Palace decided to start a war, there was no need to mention that Mu Clan would be the one to profit from it.

But no matter what, Towering Palace had a lot of resources from various cities in the coastal area, and it would be difficult for Mu Clan to get all of them immediately. If the sect alliances mobilized their forces to pick what they missed, they would profit too.

After all, one resource point could bring great benefits to a normal sect, and if they could get a few of them, the resource points would ensure future development.

The sect alliances longed for Mu Clan and Towering Palace to immediately fight against each other so that they could profit from the chaos and gain some benefits.

But Towering Palace clearly did not have the determination to become enemies with Mu Clan, which shone as brilliantly as the sun. On the day Mu Clan built their branch in Yangzhou, their people just left resentfully with their faces red with rage.

But on that night, when the moon and stars were dim, something major happened in Yangzhou City.

  *****

The mysterious man in black appeared once more in Yangzhou City. When he drew close to Mu Clan's branch, he was noticed by highly alert Mu Clan disciples.

  "Who is it?!"

The Mu Clan disciples were all on high guard against Towering Palace to prevent them from doing something extreme. They left behind quite a number of their people inside and outside the branch. When the scouts on the outer defense line saw the man in black walk out from the darkness, they alerted their people inside the branch immediately.

  Whoosh!

"My friend, you have come very late. Are you here to look for someone or to cause trouble?"

The group of Mu Clan disciples moved into battle position.

If the person brought good news, why would he be dressed like that and have his face covered at night?

The sounds of weapons being drawn could be heard.

The man in black stopped resolutely and cast a glance at the plate outside the branch. His eyes burned fiercely before he finally said, "I'm here for both. Have Silver Wolf come out. Tell him that the man in black from Yangzhou Port has decided to fight against him."

"Yangzhou Port? You're that mysterious masked man in black!"

The expressions of the Mu Clan disciples changed.

Rumors about the man in black had flown all over the place. They said that his kick techniques had reached perfection and changed a lot of the people's views toward martial arts. It also brought about a trend of those who were not ranked on Dragon and Phoenix Ranks to challenge those who were ranked.

There was only one reason for the man in black to appear at the branch. He had definitely come to challenge Silver Wolf.

  "Wait."

A Mu Clan disciple who seemed to have quite a lot of prestige in Mu Clan scrutinized the man in black a little before he turned his head around to give orders for his friends to put away their weapons. Then, he turned around and went back into the branch.

When the man in black noticed that the Mu Clan disciples had put away their weapons, a bit of emotion appeared in his eyes, which were so calm that nothing in the world seemed to be able to affect them.

  'As expected of Mu Clan!'

Even when there was someone powerful coming to challenge them, they showed a great degree of calmness and composure. They put away their weapons and became relaxed. Not only did this show great discipline and order, their expressions showed great confidence toward Silver Wolf.

  'They're this confident about him?'

The man in black narrowed his eyes slightly. When he noticed the surge of emotions in his heart, he shut his eyes again.

Time trickled by like a flowing stream of water.

After half a minute, a loud and boisterous laugh rang from within Mu Clan's branch and broke the calmness of the man in black.

"A friend of ours has come from a distance. It is a great del
ight for us!"

The man in black frowned again. He could sense a delight from the person's laughter, as if he had been waiting for his arrival for a long time, along with a great deal of confidence.

The man in black's heart sank without his own knowledge.

On the day he mastered his martial arts, there were two people he was unwilling to challenge in the game—Happy and One Emperor!

No one else ranked under those two could enter his sights.

But ever since his loss against the unknown man in black at Yangzhou Port, his confidence was ruined. Even so, he never got rid of his plan. With his momentum of defeating multiple top-class elites from Class One Hall and Towering Palace, he challenged quite a number of Dragon Rank elites and remained victorious until he was killed by Chivalry Sect's Red Dust.

He tasted his second defeat there!

The man in black came to Mu Clan to meet the second strongest of Mu Clan, Silver Mask Duke, and use his fame to propel himself to being one of the top players in World of Martial Arts so that he could be acknowledged by the masses.

In the beginning, his plan was to pull off his mask once he defeated the elites from the four top-class sects and call out to the people so that he could build the fifth great sect.

But during his first fight, while he did manage to defeat the elites from two top-class sects, he lost to another man in black, and due to his own arrogance, he did not reveal his identity.

Then, he helped Red Dust Duke, who had been an obscure presence, by pushing him to the center of attention.

Once he won against Silver Wolf, he would reveal his identity. Since he would have gained the glory of winning against the elites from three top-class sects, countless elites in the game would respond to him, allowing him to gather quite a strong force under him to fight for his place in World of Martial Arts.

  But if he lost…

In truth, the man in black never thought about that possibility. But once he came to the branch, it suddenly flashed in his mind like a cold breeze.

But the man in black's willpower was very strong. After the brief moment of his mind wandering, he quickly recovered. His gaze turned cold while he stared at the man with the silver mask walking down the stairs with a majestic gait.

The man in black said nothing. He frowned again.

He sensed an incredibly strong presence of a soldier from Silver Wolf. He was different from a normal player. Every step seemed to be measured, and the distance between them was all the same. His footsteps were steady, and there was a flame burning in his cold gaze. His breathing was rhythmic, and he inevitably drew people to his pace.

"You're that mysterious man in black who defeated multiple elites from Class One Hall and Towering Palace at Yangzhou Port?"

Silver Wolf walked down the stairs and stood thirty-two feet away from the man in black. Not a single hint of emotion could be seen on his face.

There was a myriad of thoughts racing through the man in black's mind, and they were all very complicated. Hence, there was no way he would let Silver Wolf take control of the conversation.

"You're Silver Wolf, the second strongest in Mu Clan?" he asked in a cold voice.

  Silver Wolf smiled indifferently.

He tapped against the incomplete silver mask covering his face. "I'm indeed Silver Wolf, but I wouldn't dare claim that I'm the second strongest in Mu Clan."

"Let's cut to the chase. Today, I came here to challenge you. You're free to choose the rules of the fight. Do you want to fight until first blood, or do you want to fight with everything we have?"

"You're the guest, you choose," Silver Wolf answered calmly.

No matter what, Mu Clan's branch had just been set up, and it was at the center of the hurricane in which plenty of people were interested. It was the reason why the man in black's arrival and Silver Wolf's voice attracted a lot of spectators.

  Whoosh!

Countless torches were quickly lit in the empty area around them.

The surroundings of the branch were lit up so brightly that it was as if daylight had arrived!

  Chapter 730 - Dragon Shadow

  'Hurry! Faster!'

Cold wind howled nonstop and cut at Happy like blades, but he did not care that the cold wind trapped him. He just moved with the shadows of his sword, and in an instant, dozens of sword qi weaved into the cold wind. With thunderous booms roaring around him, the sword qi were like lightning bolts that flashed in the cold wind.

  Shick! Shick! Shick!

Sword light left thin gashes on Jinjiu's body.

The man's b.a.r.e c.h.e.s.t was already covered in countless thin red gashes that intersected with each other.

Before Jinjiu could strike Happy, he had already spun on his heels and left, breaking free from the saber glares that filled the air. He positioned his sword horizontally over his c.h.e.s.t, s.u.c.k.e.d in a breath, and prepared his next wave of attacks.

Happy was very satisfied with the progress of his training!

Training against a Myth Realm martial artist was in itself a great impetus. Happy could improve at astonishing speeds, and his mastered Nine Yang Divine Skill gave him a slight boost in speed when it came to levelling up his martial arts. In less than two hours, Happy had smoothly reached a breakthrough and entered the seventh realm. His attack speed as well as damage rose to another level.

The battlefield between him and Jinjiu had shifted to the coldest region in the extremely cold cave because the temperature was not as cold there.

Even though Jinjiu's body fortification had not been broken just yet, with Seventh Sword's help, Happy's Universe's Lightning Destruction Style's attack speed reached another level, and even before it let out a sound, the sword reached its target! Happy reached the state of his sword lights exceeding the speed of sound, and he could now execute supersonic attacks. Because of it, he had unique offensive effects attached to his attacks.

Even though Jinjiu still had his body fortification and other defenses, he was completely suppressed by Happy. Once Universe's Lightning Destruction Style reached the seventh realm, he had delivered more than two hundred sword slashes.

But no matter what, Jinjiu was a Myth Realm martial artist. Not only was his qi cultivation base incredibly strong, his vitality was also very great. Every time he was injured, all he needed to do was to circulate his qi once, and his bleeding wound would immediately turn into a fine red gash, which made Happy sigh in amazement.

The ground and walls of the large cave were all scratched up. Saber glares mixed with shattered ice and dirt while they stirred up tornadoes that howled nonstop. They occupied most of the space in the cave and instantly blocked all of Happy's escape routes.

Even though Jinjiu's qi realm had dropped, his combat strength did not fall by much. Each of his counterattacks was fiercer than the last, and they were enough to determine Happy's life and death in a second.

Happy had fought against Jinjiu for more than two hours and gotten a grasp of Jinjiu's strength.

While Great Saber Breaking Art was very profound, its ferocity was hidden within a slash that contained a great momentum. The other attacks were rather flashy but were bait—they looked powerful, but were actually nothing much.

Of course, each normal saber glare still contained at least twenty thousand damage, and a Life and Death Realm player could not deal with them. Those who were slightly weaker would be torn apart instantly.

While he retreated, he also attacked.

  One second passed.

  Boom!

  Ruuuuumbleeeee…

Dense sword lights shone like the sun and cut apart all the saber glares that filled up the cave before they quickly melted away.

At that same time, thunder roared.

Endless loud thunderous booms rose, and their intimidating force was further increased by the cave. The booms echoed nonstop in the narrow space and shook the duo's hearts.

Happy was in a better condition. The thunder could increase his momentum and increas
e the effect of his boiling blood.

He seized the chance when Jinjiu had a fierce expression on his face while he fought against the endless sounds of thunder crashing against his eardrums. Happy turned around without hesitation and shot out from a space mixed with ice, earth, and other things and delivered a chilling sword slash shining with a cold light.

"You fell for the trap, brat!"

Jinjiu suddenly laughed and spread out his right arm with a vicious sneer. A dazzling saber glare that was as bright as the sun was instantly executed.

The saber glare was wider than three feet, and it was like a scorching golden flame that had the momentum which could sweep away everything in its path. It instantly arrived in front of Happy.

When Happy faced the threat of his body being cut in half, a faint and confident smile appeared on his lips.

He pulled his sword back, and an astonishing momentum swiftly rose from his body.

The large cave seemed to shine with seven rays of dazzling light. A ball of invisible air swept up Happy's body and guided the scorching saber glare.

It was led aside by Happy's sword tip and viciously cut into the wall beside him with a violent roar.

  Boom!

A trench that was deeper than six and a half feet appeared on the wall.

Happy lowered himself and landed on the ground. When he regained his footing, he quickly drew his sword back and stopped. He was incredibly shocked by the damage caused by Jinjiu's slash.

The slash just then might have been slightly weaker than Yinshi's Great Saber Breaker Art, but it was also stronger because it was executed in an instant, which could take people by surprise. Its damage was also astonishing.

If it landed on a person, it would definitely cut them down.

Jinjiu did not manage to kill Happy with his slash, but he lost quite a lot of qi. When he saw Happy standing in perfect condition by the side, a hint of solemnness appeared briefly in his eyes, even though he was usually a hot-tempered person.

"Shifting Stars, what a technique…" His tone was cold, and his killing intent became even greater.
