These two people were shocked. Before they could take action, the mysterious person had already drawn close to them like lightning. At some point of time, he had daggers appear in his hands, and they sank into these people's c.h.e.s.ts.

The sound of their flesh being pierced did not change the person's expression. It remained as indifferent as ever on his average-looking face.

The person looked as if he had done something very insignificant. With nimble and relaxed movements, he drew out his dagger. With a light tug, he withdrew the silver thread, and he charged to another direction.

  "Damn it!"

  "It's Wild Wolves!"

  "Run!"

Someone in Flame Town finally reacted to it. They found some familiar figures in the crowd and recognized them. Their pupils shrank, and without another word, they ran in directions with no one around.

Right when they jumped over the simple and crude streets in the town, they suddenly heard clear booms and the sound of wh.i.p.s cracking.

One person felt something tighten around his legs, and his momentum came to a halt.

  "This is bad!"

His expression changed. That person did not have time to lower his head to check; he had a thin, long, and black whip that came out of a street bind his ankle, and he was dragged back fiercely.

  Bang!

He slammed violently into the sand in an incredibly pathetic fashion.

When he got up, he saw a snow-white saber and a pair of bone-chilling eyes. The final sounds he heard were the sound of his body being pierced through and of his blood gushing out.

  His consciousness was swiftly destroyed.

  "Ah!"

In less than two minutes, they killed all the people inside and outside Flame Wolf, and they completely occupied all the high spots as well as its Guanlin Temple.

At the Guanlin Temple, a group of people were squashed inside. Their faces were pale as they stared at the dozen corpses scattered outside. Across them were a few men and women with cold expressions. These players did not dare to walk out of the gates of Guanlin Temple at all.

A rather brave player s.u.c.k.e.d in a deep breath in the crowd.

"We have no grudge against Wild Wolves! Why did you kill us?!"

  "That's right! That's going overboard!"

"What right do you have to kill us for no reason?!"

That one sound stirred up multiple other voices. The people in the Guanlin Temple agreed to him and started denouncing Wild Wolves. Even so, they still did not dare to step out of the temple.

As they faced the curses and questions, the Wild Wolf who seemed like the leader of this group put on a troubled expression. "Are you kidding me? When have we ever needed a reason to kill someone? When have we ever needed to give others an explanation?"

  "..."

"From now on, shut up and listen!" The person who had spoken up just now shouted. This time, his voice became sterner and ruder.

"Take one step out of the Guanlin Temple, and we will kill you!

"You have the right to try and test our patience. I guarantee you, they will make trash like you live a very 'happy' life." He used a very cruel and cold smile to end his speech.

"Hey, come over for a moment! We ran into some tough ones over there! They're causing a bit of trouble!"

Someone shouted loudly in the distance from a high spot.

The leader frowned a little. Then, he cast a glance to a few of his companions to ask them to take care of the place while he swiftly turned around and left.

Silver Wolf, Knife, Bar, and Thunder each occupied a spot at the direction where the town gate of Flame Town was. The people surrounding them had grave gazes.

Strewn around them were the corpses of eight Wilf Wolves. Their body temperature remained, and their loathing as well as their disbelief before they died remained stuck on their faces.

This was also why the Wild Wolves in the area did not immediately take action!

They could tell that while the four people in front of them had average equipment, their weapons were pretty decent, and they were also pretty strong. By the looks of it, they relied on a pretty good sword formation to largely increase their strength. Their overall strength had been increased by leaps and bounds, and they could not be killed with normal methods.

When the fierce-looking leader rushed over, he brought more than twenty people behind him, and they came with a mighty, murderous presence.

Silver Wolf and his party frowned.

"Hey, a lot of people came."

"Seriously? I'm beginning to REALLY admire how Wild Wolves operates." Knife had a cold expression on his face while he intentionally spoke loudly. The mocking tone in his voice was very clear.

  "Lovely Land?"

The fierce-looking man cast a glance at the sect emblem on Silver Wolf and his party's c.h.e.s.ts. His pupils shrank a little. "Where is your sect master?"

"Where do you think he is?"

Silver Wolf and his party knew that this group of people have become wary and were puzzled, so they intentionally spoke with a tone that would lead them down one train of thought and misguide them to increase their doubts.

But against their expectations, when they heard Silver Wolf's answer, the group across them became calm once more.

"He shouldn't be in the desert, then." The fierce-looking leader thought they were just putting up a front, so he instantly calmed down.

Someone reminded the leader with a whisper into his ear, "These four people seem to be skilled with a rather powerful sword formation. Soon, Flame Wolf and his group will arrive. If we can't get rid of them by then…"

"Don't we have a group of people who know the Forbidden Daiya Technique here? Put up that matrix. I'd like to see whether their sword formation is stronger, or whether the Forbidden Daiya Technique is stronger!" The fierce-looking leader cast a fierce gaze at Silver Wolf and his group. "End the fight as quickly as possible."

Right after he finished speaking, the group moved back swiftly.

As Silver Wolf and his party had their expressions turn solemn, nine people walked out of the crowd.

"Careful. They might be the ones who can use the matrix that allowed Wild Wolves to kill someone in the dao of heaven."

Silver Wolf and his party sent messages to warn each other.

Even Happy had mentioned that Wild Wolves might have monopolized a matrix that is more powerful than the Four Matchless Sword Formation. It was a matrix that could allow them to fight against those in the dao of heaven.

Naturally, Silver Wolf and his party had to fight against it carefully.

But Happy had already headed over in search of Tiger Soul, and he gave them orders to try and hold back as well as kill Wild Wolves.

Hence, even if they had to face the Forbidden Daiya Technique, they could only grit their teeth and stand in place.

"Fortunately, there seems to only be one group…"

"I heard that a lot of their people who are skilled with the matrix died to kill that person in the dao of heaven. It's a huge formation, so we might have a chance."

"Stop talking! Form your formation and attack!"

  "Attack!"

Silver Wolf, Knife, Bar, and Thunder each occupied one spot and suddenly flicked their wrists.

  Buzz!

The air suddenly resonated in a miraculous fashion, and a clear sword w.h.i.n.e traveled into everyone's ears.

Four powerful sword wills gushed out of Silver Wolf and his party's bodies.

Across them, eight Wild Wolves pushed their palms forward at the same time.

  Slap! Slap! Slap! Slap! Slap!

When eight people's qi were sent into the body of the person in the lead, a power as mighty as the mountains descended swiftly to fight on equal grounds with the four sword wills.

Two waves of qi crashed into each other violently.

The group's gazes instantly turned fierce, and their fighting spirits burned in them.

"The leader sent a messenger pigeon!"

  "Re
ad it!" Peach Blossom said firmly.

Behind them, Flame Wolf killed another two of their members by the sides of the group and chased after them. He was now getting closer to them.

"The leader said that the people receiving us have already arrived at Flame Wolf to clear the area. They're only waiting for us to go over now to immediately take our place and escort Tiger Soul away from the Chinese plains!"

Immortal frowned and asked, "How far away are we from Flame Town?"

"Sixth-tenths of a mile at the very most!"

"Great! Everyone, hurry up! Once we gather up with everyone, we'll bring Tiger Soul to Flame Town safely and take it out of the Chinese plains! Then, we'll have succeeded!"

However, at that moment, a scout ahead of them gave a report.

  "There's someone ahead of us!"

Chapter 1207 - VS Forbidden Daiya Technique

  "There's someone ahead of us!"

When they heard the report from the scout, Peach Blossom and Immortal scowled, and they looked surprised.

"What is Chief Wolf doing? We just asked him to clear the path ahead of us, but he didn't manage to do even something as simple as this!"

"Don't bother about that! How many people are there?"

  "Two!"

  "Two?"

Peach Blossom and Immortal felt so angry that they glared, but when they thought about the temperaments of the Wild Wolves beside them, they had to suppress their anger. "Are you telling me that you can't even kill those two people?"

The person who sent the message put on an anguished expression.

"We wanted to, but that old man and the youngster are like ghosts. When they started running, we couldn't even catch up to them. A few of our members chased after them, but they immediately lost track of them."

Peach Blossom was stunned. She exchanged a look with Immortal. Both of them were at a loss.

But now, the scout just told them that someone had managed to easily leave them in the dust, and this was clearly… a lightness skill at the level of someone in the dao of heaven!

"Could it be someone in the dao of heaven from the desert palace? Has that person been eyeing the saber by the side all this while?" The two women were nervous.

They would naturally not be too bothered if they faced a normal person in the dao of heaven. After all, even the alliance master had suffered in their hands, and they killed Dongfang Bubai. The group were very confident with the Forbidden Daiya Technique.

But as they traveled to this place, they were reduced to less than one-third of their original one hundred people. They could only last until they reached Flame Town. Right now, if they sent two more groups of people over, they would shake the foundation to escort Tiger Soul away, and it would be very easy for someone in the dao of heaven to take advantage of them and steal Tiger Soul!

"They don't seem to be from the dao of heaven. The old man just has really good lightness skills…" The scout's answer caused both of them to be slightly at ease.

Peach Blossom said without hesitation, "It's good that they're not in the dao of heaven, then. Send a few people to serve as sentries in the area. Don't let them get close. We'll continue moving forward. Before we meet up with Chief Wolf, we can't let anything unforeseen appear!"

As long as they met up with Chief Wolf and the others, it would not be difficult for them to turn back and get rid of someone who was nearly at the dao of heaven.

  "Understood!"

In a dark house across the pond was the Prophet Carlson. He sat in front of a table, and his movements froze for a moment. He frowned and stared at the image reflected in the crystal ball. As he mumbled, he s.u.c.k.e.d in a sharp breath.

  "This is bad."

  "Hmm?"

Evil Emperor's voice came from outside the room.

"What happened?" From the moment Flame Wolf started attacking them, the Prophet Carlson was ordered to monitor the situation within a circular area of three-tenths of a mile from him. Right now, if he said that the situation was bad, he naturally meant something had happened to Flame Wolf and Tiger Soul, so Evil Emperor's tone was tense.

"Leader, do you remember how I mentioned a white-clad teenager when I was monitoring the people in the dao of heaven fighting against each other in the desert?"

"Him?" Evil Emperor's tone turned to surprise. "Didn't you say that after he left the fight, he left the desert with his servant?"

"At that time, he had indeed traveled a long distance to the west and did not show any signs of coming back, which is why I gave up on monitoring him. Then, for a long period of time, I couldn't even find him."

"I know that. At that time, you mentioned that you don't even know who he is, which is why you couldn't locate him." He stopped talking for a moment, and Evil Emperor sounded tense. "I heard that his strength is on par with someone in the dao of heaven. Could it be that he appeared again."

Carlson remained silent for two seconds in the house before he answered, "His servant has already appeared, and he lured away some of our members. I'm still searching for his whereabouts, but I'm guessing that he should be lying in ambush nearby."

  Evil Emperor's expression changed.

"His servant is someone in the late stage of Myth Realm. If that's the case, the white-clad swordsman is definitely nearby. Ha! He actually held back his d.e.s.i.r.es and waited until now before he took action? What a devious man!" When he said this, he stopped talking, and the sounds of a messenger pigeon flapping its wings to fly into the sky could be heard.

Carlson could naturally tell that Evil Emperor sent Flame Wolf and the rest a warning through a letter, but…

"I hope we're not too late."

As he mumbled, Carlson started using his crystal ball again. The picture quickly moved in all directions so that he could monitor everything within a circular area of three-tenths of a mile from Flame Wolf.

Flame Wolf's eyes were red. He moved like lightning, and his speed had increased by at least twofold compared to when he was at the peak of his condition. Even though there had been three hundred feet between him and another Wild Wolf, he managed to reach that person in a moment.

  "Die!"

That Wild Wolf had clearly witnessed too many of his friends die in Flame Wolf's hands, so he felt nothing. He only hoped that he could lead Flame Wolf further away before he died. In fact, he tried to draw him closer to Flame Town and a little further away from Peach Blossom and her group.

  Bang!

Flame Wolf's strength had already been increased by several fold after he was controlled by Tiger Soul. A saber glare shot out, and that Wild Wolf was reduced to streams of blood, and like a dilapidated log, he shattered into pieces.

Flame Wolf redirected his gaze, and he stared at another Wild Wolf who was running madly forward not faraway.

  "Next pair, get ready!"

Peach Blossom had made arrangements a long time ago and sent two people over to lure Flame Wolf's attention away from the group. They lured him to the sides.

"Both of you, be careful! Try to last until you reach Flame Town!"

  "Got it!"

As she gave her orders, Peach Blossom and her group did not slow down. They still moved at their fastest speed, and Flame Town appeared within their field of vision.

  "We're almost there!"

  Immortal's eyes lit up.

"Send a signal! Tell Chief Wolf and the rest to come and gather up with us!"

  "Got it!"

But at that moment, something happened.

  Thud!

The Wild Wolves had just jumped over a sandhill when a black figure suddenly broke out of the sand and charged at them.

  Clang!

The sword w.h.i.n.e was like a dragon's roar.

The fierce sword glare brought it a clear and cold light as it swept through the area in the shape of a hoop.

Since this happened abruptly, the Wild Wolves were caught off guard. The sword glare hit them, and eight people died on the spot.

  What caused Peach Bloss
om and Immortal to be shocked and filled with despair was that this seemingly simple slash had managed to destroy the body fortifications of those who had managed to activate their body fortifications in time, and among them were Bloody Hell Saber and Golden Rakkhasa.

  Bang! Bang! Bang!

Eight people died on the spot.

  "Enemy ambush!"

  "Careful!"

When eight people died, the group finally realized that someone had hid himself under the sand, and their expressions changed.

  "Happy!"

  "It's Happy!"

  "Form the formation!"

  "Forbidden Daiya Technique! Hurry!"

Peach Blossom and Immortal might have not clearly seen the white-clad swordsman's attack, but while they were far away, they felt that the person who ambushed them was very familiar. When he appeared, he gave them a familiar sense of danger and unease, and they unanimously revealed the person's identity.

As expected of an internationally famous group formed of top-class players, when the Wild Wolves heard this, they acted quickly. They split into groups of nine.

  "Hahahaha!"

Even while he was airborne, Happy did not panic. He laughed long and hard. "It's too late!"

He moved with his sword, and like lightning, he charged to Peach Blossom, who was closest to him.

  "Dream on!"

Immortal could immediately tell that Happy's goal was to first destroy Peach Blossom. She laughed coldly. She unsheathed her longsword, bringing with it a terrifying and cold glare. She tried to attack first to subjugate Happy, so she arrived right in front of Happy.

It was the stereotypical case of attacking someone in an attempt to save someone else.

  "Hmph!"

But against her expectations, Happy did not even look at the slash that had appeared in front of his face at lightning speed. He pointed forward.

  Shick!

A milky white finger-generated gust of wind struck Immortal's flying sword.

The Inaction Technique ultimate technique showed its domineering side at that moment. Her flying sword was hit so hard that it flew back.

Meanwhile, Happy's sword momentum did not decrease in the slightest. In an instant, he arrived in front of Peach Blossom.
