Game Wardens: Jayme & Tripp
Page 18
They had already downed a couple beers, when the bar door opened; and Brendan and Will walked in. Brendan hesitated for a moment, before making his way over to the table with Will in tow. Tripp tipped his beer bottle in greeting, while Jayme pretended the label on his bottle was super fascinating.
“Hey guys, mind if we sit with you?” Brendan asked.
“I don’t mind. Jayme?”
Jayme shrugged. “Whatever.”
Brendan and Will pulled up chairs and sat. The waitress came and took their order right away. He watched Brendan open and close his mouth a couple times, before he finally got out what he was trying to say.
“I’m not the father either,” Brendan blurted.
His eyebrows shot up. He and Jayme had just been talking about that.
“I’m sorry,” Jayme said sincerely, meeting Brendan’s gaze.
Brendan shrugged. “She made me believe it was yours the whole time. Not until I found the results, did I think maybe he was mine. But we did the test, had it rushed; and it came back today saying that I wasn’t the father either. She fucked me over too. I just...I can’t apologize enough.”
Jayme nodded. “She manipulated you.”
“Yes, but I’m the idiot who let her. I thought she loved me. I think she was using me to get back at you.”
“Sounds about right,” Tripp chimed in.
“Can we maybe start over? I’d really like to still be friends with you, Jayme.”
He watched Jayme, he could tell that he was thinking about it. He took a sip of his beer, then took a deep breath. He was making Brendan sweat. Tripp smiled behind his beer bottle.
“Yeah, okay. We can start over.”
“Yes! Thank you.”
A small smile lifted Jayme’s lips, before he took another sip of his beer.
“How you been doing? Because in all honesty, you look like shit,” Brendan said. “No offense.”
Jayme snorted. “This is my first time out of bed since Wednesday,” he replied seriously.
“Damn, man. I’m so sorry. I can’t imagine how you must feel.”
Jayme shrugged. “I’m working on it.”
“If you need anything from me, I’m here.”
“Thanks. I appreciate that.”
“That goes for me too,” Will added.
“Thanks, Will.”
They sat there for the next couple hours, drinking and talking. Jayme was buzzing pretty hard when they got in Tripp’s truck to go home. He started the truck, then buckled his seat belt. Jayme reached over and rested his hand on Tripp’s thigh. He covered Jayme’s hand with his own.
“Thank you,” Jayme said softly.
“You’re welcome.”
“It only would have gotten worse.”
“I know.”
Jayme was quiet for a few minutes after that. Then he said, “Do you think we should be married before we look into having a baby?”
He glanced over to find Jayme watching him. “We can do whatever we want.”
“What do you want?”
“Either way is fine by me.”
“You’re being elusive.”
He chuckled. “I’m not. I just don’t have a preference.”
“Do you want to marry me?”
“Yes.”
“Good, cause I want to marry you too.”
“Did we just get engaged?” he laughed.
Jayme smiled, and it reached his eyes for the first time in days. “Yeah, I think we did.”
They both laughed, and he brought Jayme’s hand up to kissed it.
“I love you,” he said.
“I love you too.”

Jayme
The next morning, Jayme got up early; making sure not to rouse Tripp. He went downstairs to make breakfast. He wanted to do a better proposal than last night’s half drunken one. Tripp deserved better than that.
He went about making some scrambled eggs, pancakes, and hash browns. Once it was all ready, he found a large serving tray and put everything on it; including coffee. He carried the tray upstairs, and into their bedroom.
“Oooh Tripp, wakey wakey,” he called as he walked in the door.
Tripp rolled onto his back and rubbed his eyes. “Huh?”
“I have breakfast for you.”
“Breakfast?”
“Yeah. Sit up.”
Tripp yawned and stretched before sitting up against the headboard. He still looked half asleep. He placed the tray on Tripp’s blanket covered lap, then pretended to drop something on the floor. He got down on one knee and waited for Tripp to see his special pancakes. Tripp rubbed his eyes again.
“You made me breakfast in bed? Why? It’s not my birthday,” Tripp muttered sleepily.
“Tripp, do me a favor?”
“Hmm?”
“Look at your pancakes.”
Tripp looked down at the plate in his lap. A slow smile crept across his face. “Jayme.”
“Tripp, I love you so much. You mean everything to me, and I want to be with you for the rest of my life. Will you marry me?”
“Yes.”
He got to his feet and leaned in to kiss Tripp softly on the lips. “I love you.”
“I love you too, Jayme.”
He then climbed on the bed and sat down next to him.
“I can’t believe you wrote “marry me” in chocolate chips on my pancakes.” Tripp snickered.
“I figured last night wasn’t romantic at all and wanted to do something better than that. Not that this was the best. It wasn’t planned out ahead of time, but...” He finished with a shrug.
“This was sweet, and I loved it. Thank you.”
“You’re welcome. Now eat them before they get cold.”
“Did you eat?”
“Not yet. I’ll go make some more for myself.”
“We can share this. I’m not starving.”
“Only if you’re sure.”
“I’m sure.”
Tripp ended up feeding Jayme bites of food, while he ate. Once they finished, he took the tray and put it on the dresser. He climbed back in bed and grabbed Tripp’s ankle to drag him down. He then crawled over him and kissed him tenderly on the lips.
“How about a little dessert to go with breakfast?” he purred.
“Sounds delicious.”
He grinned, then moved down to kiss Tripp’s neck. Tripp sucked in a sharp breath and tilted his head to give him better access. He snaked a hand down Tripp’s body, and under the covers; where he was already naked and hard. He wrapped a hand around Tripp’s cock, and pumped lazily as he kissed his way down his body.
Tripp spread his legs to make room for him. He then licked a line from the base of Tripp’s cock, to the tip; before taking it into his mouth. Tripp moaned. Jayme worked him over, until Tripp was coming down his throat.
He then shucked the shorts that he put on to make breakfast and grabbed the lube. He tapped Tripp’s thigh, and motioned him to roll over. Tripp took the hint and got on all fours for him. He lubed them up, then lined up his cock with Tripp’s hole. He pushed forward and sheathed himself in one thrust. Tripp cried out in pleasure and reached back to claw at his thigh.
He started out slow and deliberate, he wanted Tripp to feel every inch of him. Soon, it became too much for both of them; he sped up, gripping Tripp’s hips tight. He watched as his cock disappeared into Tripp’s ass.
“Yesss,” Tripp hissed. “Fuck me. Your cock feels so fucking good.”
He could only grunt in reply, as his fingers tightened on Tripp’s hips. Tripp’s dirty talk always brought him closer to coming. His thrusts became erratic as he felt his orgasm closing in. With a final thrust, he came hard into Tripp’s ass.
“I love when you fill my ass with cum,” Tripp rumbled.
He shuddered, and gave Tripp’s ass a swat. “Jesus, with the dirty talk, you kill me.”
Tripp chuckled darkly.
He slowly pulled out, then watched as his cum followed; running dow
n Tripp’s taint and balls. He moaned at the sight. He fucking loved it, it was extremely hot. Leaving Tripp on the bed, still on all fours; he went to the bathroom for a rag. They cleaned up, then got back in bed; and snuggled for a little while.
He didn’t realize he fell asleep, until he heard Tripp’s phone ringing. Tripp grumbled sleepily. He obviously fell asleep too. He grabbed his phone and answered it, without looking at the screen.
“Yeah? Hello?...oh, hey sis...yeah, me and Jayme are having a lazy day. We’re still in bed...he’s doing much better, thanks for asking...do we want to come for dinner?” Tripp looked over at Jayme, who nodded. “Yeah, sure, that sounds great, what time...okay, see you then...bye.”
Tripp hung up and set his phone on the nightstand.
“Dinner’s at five.”
“Okay.”
Tripp rolled over so they were facing each other. Tripp slung his leg over Jayme’s, then took both of their cocks in his hand. Tripp jerked them together, until they were both hard and leaking.
“Ready for round two?” Tripp asked.
He pretended to think about it. “Hmm, I don’t know.”
Tripp gave them a squeeze, and he moaned.
“Yeah, okay. Round two it is,” he laughed.
He bottomed for round two. Then they got showered and dressed. He caught up on emails and bills, while they waited to go to Elianna’s for dinner. Tripp cleaned the kitchen, then played on Facebook and Instagram for a while.
They got to Elianna’s about ten minutes before five. She opened the door, and greeted them with smiles, and hugs, and kisses. Tripp’s mom, Donna, was there also, and of course Elianna’s husband, Brett, and baby, Noah.
Noah was now over a year old, and walking and saying some words. Somehow Jayme was his favorite, and he walked right over to him; and held his arms out. He lifted Noah up and propped him on his hip.
“What’s up, little man?” he asked, giving him a kiss on his head.
Noah put his head on his shoulder, and wrapped an arm around his neck.
“Aww, you love your Uncle Jayme?” Elianna cooed, and rubbed Noah’s back.
Noah nodded against his shoulder.
“Uncle Jayme, huh?” he murmured.
“Well, yeah, we are engaged now, ya know,” Tripp said with a devilish smirk.
That’s one way to tell his family. Donna gasped, her hands flying up to cover her nose and mouth. “What? When did this happen?”
“Technically last night, but Jayme proposed again this morning too,” Tripp answered.
Donna threw her arms around Tripp and hugged him tight. “Oh my God, this is exciting!”
They both got hugs from Donna and Elianna, and a bro-hug from Brett. Once the congratulations were out of the way, they all headed into the kitchen to eat. He set Noah in his highchair, then took the seat next to him. He had to admit, he’d definitely gotten more comfortable with the little guy over the holidays. Jayme and Tripp had split their time between the two families. They spent Thanksgiving with his family, Christmas Eve with Tripp’s family, then Christmas day; they visited with both.
“Jayme, we were sorry to hear about what happened with your ex-wife. That was an awful thing for her to do,” Donna said as they all filled their plates.
“Thank you. I’m trying my best to move forward, and not dwell on it. The past few days have been hard for me.”
“When the time’s right, we’ll find a surrogate; and have our own kids,” Tripp said. “Right, Love?”
He nodded. “Right.”
“I think we want to get married first though.” Tripp looked to him for confirmation.
“Yeah, I think that would be best.”
“I’m very excited,” Donna chirped. “If you need help planning the wedding, I’d love to be a part of it.”
“Thanks, mom. We just might take you up on that. We have no idea what we’re doing.”
“No one does when they decide to get married,” Elianna laughed. “Me and Brett were clueless.”
“Oh good, I thought it was just us,” Tripp replied.
“I never said I didn’t know what I was doing.” He huffed. “I’ve been through this process before, remember?”
“Oh yeah.” Tripp chuckled. “I was trying to pretend that she didn’t exist. Sorry.”
He snorted. “Help is always welcome though, Donna.”
She smiled brightly. “Great!”
After a really nice dinner and some pie for dessert, he and Tripp headed home.
“When are we going to tell your family?” Tripp asked from the passenger seat.
“Soon. Want me to invite them over for dinner tomorrow night?”
“Yeah. That sounds good.”
“Okay. I’ll call them tonight.”
“Great.”

Jayme
Jayme’s family came for dinner the next night. They decided to make it simple and do hamburgers and hotdogs. He was out back cooking on the grill, while Tripp was inside making a pasta salad. Everyone was sitting out back on the patio at the table, waiting for the food to be done.
They were talking about Mitch and Seamus’ upcoming wedding, and who not to sit near who. Jayme smiled. Soon, he and Tripp were going to be having this conversation about their own wedding.
Tripp came out back with a big bowl of pasta salad and set it on the table. He then walked over to Jayme and wrapped an arm around his waist.
“How are the burgers coming along?”
“Almost done.”
“Cool.” He then dropped his voice to a whisper. “Should we tell them now?”
“You can if you want.”
“I don’t think I can hold it in any longer.”
He chuckled. “Okay then.”
Tripp then spun around to face Jayme’s family. “Okay, we have some news.”
Everyone turned their attention toward Tripp. “Oh yeah? What kind of news?” his mom, Mary, asked.
Tripp elbowed him in the side. He oomphed, but turned so that he was facing his family too. Jayme slipped his arm around Tripp’s waist, and gave his hip a squeeze.
“Jayme and I got engaged yesterday,” Tripp announced.
The table erupted into “Oh my God’s”, and “What’s?”, and “Oh wow’s.” He and Tripp watched in amusement, as they processed what they’ve just been told.
“But...did you plan this?” Mary asked, looking a bit confused.
“No, it was kinda spur of the moment,” he answered with a shrug.
“You guys haven’t been going out that long though,” his dad, Callen, said. “I mean, Seamus and Mitch had been together for a few years before they got engaged.”
“That doesn’t matter,” Jana chimed in. “All that matters is that they love each other.”
“Thanks, Jana,” he said. “And we do. Very much.”
“I guess congratulations are in order then,” Seamus said with a smile.
Seamus and Mitch were the first ones to get up and give him and Tripp hugs. Everyone else followed, congratulating them on their engagement.
Jayme finished up the burgers and hotdogs and put them on a serving tray; before bringing them over to the table. Everyone dug in.
“Have you thought about a date yet?” Mary asked after they all began eating.
“No, we haven’t gotten that far yet. It’s only been a day,” Jayme replied.
“Are you looking to have a long engagement, or short?” she asked.
He looked at Tripp, who shrugged as he chewed on a bite of his burger.
“I don’t think we want to wait too long, but it’s not going to be next week, ya know?” he answered.
“Big or small wedding?”
“Small,” they said in unison then smiled at each other.
“Glad we agree,” he murmured.
Tripp nodded.
“Have you heard anything from Mallory?” Ian asked.
“No, and I hope she never calls me again.” Jayme practically snarled.
/> Mary reached across the table and patted his forearm. “How are you doing with the whole thing, Sweetie?”
He shrugged. “Better than a couple days ago. It still hurts though.”
“Of course, Honey. It will for a while.”
Tripp gave his shoulder a squeeze. “We’ll have our own kids one day.”
“Really? I figured since you didn’t want kids in the first place, that you’d be done after this,” Ian said.
Jayme shook his head. “I’ve changed my mind about having kids.”
“Wow. I’m shocked. You were adamant before,” Ian replied.
“Yeah, I know. That’s because I didn’t know what I was missing. Holding that little baby made me want things I didn’t even know I wanted.”
“Seamus and Mitch, are you guys planning on having kids?” Tripp asked.
“Eventually,” Mitch answered.
“Yeah, we’re going to wait a few years,” Seamus added.
“Okay, back to the engagement,” Jana said. “Who proposed to who?”
“Jayme proposed to me,” Tripp said with a grin.
“Huh, I thought it was gonna be the other way around,” she replied.
“How’d you do it, Jayme?” Mary asked.
“Listen, this was not planned, so it’s kinda cheesy,” he said.
“Cheesy proposals are the best,” Jana laughed. “Ian’s was cheesy, and I loved it.”
“I made Tripp pancakes, and wrote marry me in chocolate chips on them.” He grimaced.
The whole table Aww’d, well maybe everyone except Jayme’s dad. He just rolled his eyes.
“That’s super sweet,” Jana gushed.
“I think you beat me in cheesiness.” Ian chuckled.
“Oh yeah, he totally did,” Jana agreed.
Jayme felt the blush creep up his neck. “It was the best that I could come up with at the time.”
“Jayme actually proposed the night before, but he was buzzed, and it wasn’t romantic at all.” Tripp laughed. “It was kinda like, did we just get engaged? Yeah, I think we did.”
Everyone laughed.
