  Episode 90

  **** A year later ****

  Summer's P.O.V

  I was standing at a corner of our pack yard quietly, while each and every member of the Lunar High pack was running around here and there with so much work on their shoulders as it was indeed a busy day today, for all of us.

  In fact, we were planning for this day for quite a long time now, and at last, when the day had finally arrived at all out door-steps, I did not know why but it brought some weird feelings and memories along with the bucket full of happiness, which was enough to make all of us nostalgic in some different ways. And my condition was no different than others.

  Even after all this, there was no denying that it was a much-awaited day in my life, for sure.

  And as an alpha of the Lunar High pack now, even though I had to stay busy for the last few days to prepare a grand ceremony, I always looked forward to this day with all the hopes in my heart. And I must say that, without my men, I might not be able to make this day a successful one, cause it was them who put all their efforts to arrange the ceremony as per my orders, while I was busy to deal with the pack business and other important things.

  So, I made sure not to leave any work unattended on hand for today, so that I could spare myself some time to enjoy one of the most important days without anything to worry about.

  As it was still morning, guests are yet to join the ceremony and for that, we still had some time in hand. So, in the meantime, I kept standing at one of the farthest corners of the ground and was busy watching how the members of my pack were rushing here and there to finish the last minute works only to make sure that everything was arranged perfectly and beautifully.

  And I just can not help but sigh, realising that the day had finally come.

  Yes.

  It is a wedding day.

  The whole place was already decorated with various kind of flowers while all of them were either white or in the lightest shade of pink which was making the entire ground look absolutely magnificent. It seemed that our pack yard was kind of dressed up in the most gorgeous gown filled with all the beautiful blossoms in the world, only for this wedding day. The air felt refreshing with the delicate fragrances that were coming from the freshly bloomed flowers, turning the whole atmosphere of this place the most enchanting one.

  The alter was already prepared with the most careful hands and was decorated with flowers and orchids as well, where two people were going to unite as one, later today...where vows will be chanted, where promises will be made, where another kind of bond will be formed in between two hearts who are always meant to love one another, for all the life long.

  There was no doubt that I was feeling so happy at this moment, as I just could not stop looking at all the decorations, taking as much time as I felt like I needed to keep everything in my mind for a long long time.

  I saw how the aisle was made too ever so beautifully with the carpet which was covered with the lovely petals, leading the way to the altar.

  Seats were arranged and was already aligned in rows for the guests who were going to attend today's wedding ceremony.

  And apart from that, a huge wedding cake has been prepared to celebrate right after the ceremony and also a grand feast is obviously on the queue which will go on for the whole night.

  All kind of foods had been ordered to prepare specifically for today along with the most expensive wines for tonight's banquet.

  And now, the only thing we had left to do was to wait for the time to come soon.

  I sighed out of utter relief only when I realised that we really made this day happen at last with mutual efforts of all the members of our packs.

  So, I took the last minute to look at each and every detail of the place and the decoration once again, as I realised that it was time to leave this place for now and to attend someone else cause it was already time for the one to wake up any time soon. And if I am not around him at that time when he wakes up, I can even bet that he will definitely create an upheaval for the whole pack with his non-stop cries and screams, demanding his mom to coax him right there right at that moment. And if not, all of us already knows that nothing could make him stop.

  Yes, I was talking about my devil of a son.

  Or who could it be?

  Eugene.

  He is now a year old and is growing up to be the most charming fellow even when he is really young. Even though sometimes he becomes very difficult to deal with, but except that, most of the time he is more than adorable.

  Anyway,

  Time to go to him now.

  So, leaving the last bit of arrangements in the hands of the members of my pack, I went straight to my house without delaying any further time.

  But just when I went in, it did not take much time for me to realise that I was already late.

  Yes, my little devil was already awake and the whole house was already booming with his screams, early in the morning.

  “At last. You are here. Come quickly and hold him. This brat is not even ready to listen to me at all and kept crying since he woke up. Your son sure knows how to trouble his dad.” Kazan said in a hurry and handed Eugene over to me and in an instant, my little devil stopped crying as soon as he came to my arms. His face lit up with utter joy instantly, and he did not even forget to smile at me, showing his two little teeth that recently started to grow, which was more than enough to melt my heart within seconds.

  “Good morning, you little one.” I greeted him with a smile and coaxed him which made him giggle right away, making Kazan extremely jealous without any doubt.

  “I am here too, baby.” Kazan approached me in the next moment and lifted up Eugene from my arms, so that he could make me hold him instead to get a kiss.

  And only after Kazan was satisfied, he let me go and went busy to get Eugene ready for the day, neither this little one complained any further.

  So, I went outside to make breakfast for all of us.

  For us three.

  Cause Kaith does not live here anymore for quite some time now as he said that he wanted to leave me to Kazan's care finally but the actual reason was that he wanted to move in with Jenny.

  This brat.

  Anyway,

  He visits here often though to play with my son and brings Jenny together with him always, and I am more than happy for them too.

  “Did you go to check the arrangements for today, baby?” Kazan came from behind all of a sudden when I was busy making breakfast for us, and took me into a hug, wrapping his arms around my waist. And in an instant, I knew that he will not stop only there cause he always does perverted stuff with me, without considering the time and even not the place where we are in.

  “Yes, everything is done. And you are making me late, you know. So, move back.” I replied right away and tried to shove him aside cause I needed to hurry.

  But as if I could do that.

  “No. We still have a lot of time to have another session you know, and how can I let you go when you never stop seducing me?” Kazan uttered and started trailing kisses from my earlobe to neck, causing me to feel a lot of tingles which I could never ignore, even when I did not want to give in to his temptation that easily.

  “Where is your son?” I asked, trying to distract his mind to something else, but again, as if it was even something possible for me to do when it was Kazan I am talking about.

  “He is playing. See.” Kazan replied and carried me out of the kitchen only to show me that our son was now happily playing with all the toys that he got, forgetting about everything else in the world. It seemed that he even does not care to save his mom from his devil dad.

  “This boy. Such a useless fellow.” I said in disappointment.

  “No. Actually, he is very much useful, but not for you obviously. He knows how to give his mom and dad some space, so that he could have a brother or sister to play with in later times. Such a clever boy. After all,
he is my son.” Kazan smirked mischievously and dragged me to our room once again, leaving the breakfast behind to get cold and barely edible.

  And I was left with no way to escape from his trap any more.

  Time passed within a blink of an eye and we were left with a little bit of time to get ready for the ceremony for today. And we became late only for this devil mate of mine, Kazan, who kept acting cool as ever, when I was rushing here and there with panic.

  I took a bath quickly and went out of the bathroom, wrapping a towel around my soaked body. Water was still dripping from my skin and I did not even have time to keep calm anymore as I was already running behind time.

  “Here, wear this. And let me help you.” Kazan handed me a box and came to stand behind me, wearing a perfectly tailored tux suit in black. And I must say, that he was definitely the man from whom I can never turn my eyes away, no matter what.

  His defined muscular body was still looking perfect as ever in the suit that he was wearing for today, turning him into a really seductive alpha of all, that I was even getting aroused just by taking a single glimpse of him.

  But I had to keep away all the perverted thought from my mind, for now at least.

  “No. Do not even dare to say that you will help me to get dressed. Cause you never do that instead you make me late for another hour. So, thank you but I can help myself.” I answered in an instant and ran away to another room, taking the box from Kazan's hand, without waiting for him to anything weird again.

  On my way out I clearly heard him chuckle for no reason at all.

  “And do not forget to dress up Eugene.” I said just before I left the room in a hurry to get myself ready.

  I took my time to get into the dress that Kazan picked up for me and made my hair after that. I put a little bit of makeup too only to go perfectly with the attire that I was wearing today.

  It was a long gown with soft flares coming down from the waist part while the upper part of the dress was beautifully decorated with fine lace, a bit of fabric and was embellished with little beads. Its neck was high and sleeves were coming past my elbow, and I just can not deny that Kazan's choice is always amazing without any doubt, cause I was already in love with this dress which was in the shade of the lightest shade of pink and was going perfectly with my complexion.

  I sighed once again, standing in front of the mirror and at last put on the flower crown on top of my head while the messy braid that I did was indeed complementing my entire look.

  And I was satisfied with that.

  I came out of the room in no time after I was all done getting ready, but only to get stunned all of a sudden.

  Cause I saw that Kazan was standing before my eyes with all his charms holding our son in one hand who was also dressed in a little tux suit which was exactly same as Kazan.

  I can not help but smile from the bottom of my heart, seeing them like this together. Cause, both of those handsome boys, who were waiting for me, were mine and I could not be happier.

  “You know what, I can always make an excuse for you for getting late if you want. So if you keep staring at me like this with those of your seductive looks, I promise that I am going to take you to our room again, right now. And also, your son would love to play alone for some time more. What do you say?” Kazan came forward, seeing that I was totally fixed at my spot with no single words coming out of my mouth. So he took the chance to kiss me one more time, messing the little bit of lipstick that I had put on.

  “No. No. I am ready. We are going out now.” I said without wasting any more time as soon as I got my senses back due to Kazan's desperate kiss.

  Eugene came running to me with his clumsy steps to hold one of my fingers with his tiny little hands and dragged me outside with utter joy, so that he could finally play with others.

  “You are looking gorgeous, baby.” Kazan whispered into my ears just when we were about to enter the ceremonial ground, and I could not help but blush due to his sudden comment.

  In the next moment, he stretched his hand, asking me to hold them before going in and I grabbed the hand of the only one in an instant whom I never want to leave for the rest of my life.

  The golden rings which were always on our fingers ever since the day of our wedding, shined brightly under the daylight, making me happy once again without any specific reason.

  And by the way, maybe I forgot to mention earlier that it was a wedding of my two best friends, Kaith and Jenny who are finally getting married today.

  Yes, at last.

  “Hubby. I have something to tell you.” I whispered, keeping my eyes straight on the way where we were heading right at this moment.

  “What is it, baby?” Kazan asked and continued to walk with me.

  “Our Eugene is really going to be a big brother in a few months from now.” I said all of it in just one breath which I was keeping within myself for quite some time.

  But I said it to Kazan, at last, which obviously made him stop on his track in an instant.

  “Is it true?” Kazan pulled me by my hand and looked deep into my heart with his alluring ocean blue eyes, which seemed shocked indeed, hearing such news from me all of a sudden, when he was not at all expecting something like this.

  So, I just nodded with a smile on my lips.

  And in an instant, I was lifted up from the ground by the strong arms of Kazan as he whirled along with me in the air, showing how much happy I made him with just a few words.

  At this moment, I could not hold myself back any longer, and bent my head down a bit only to kiss those lips which were oozing with a lot of happiness for now.

  Putting me back down on the ground Kazan said only the three words into my ears, that I could never get enough even if he has to say those for more than a million times.

  “I love you.”

  Epilogue

  Summer's P.O.V

  Another few months passed already and again my body is changing due to the second pup we are going to have any time soon now. Before that, let me tell, what exactly happened with us since the last year after I gave birth to Eugene. Yes, even though I was all prepared and made my mind not to marry the one, ever in my life whom I love with all my heart but only because I had more responsibilities for my pack as the alpha of the Lunar High, which I could not defy, no matter what; we got married at the end anyhow. I was even ready to sacrifice my own happiness for the sake of my pack which once belonged to my mom and dad and now to me, so that I could keep the name of our Lunar High as one of the strongest and prestigious packs beside other packs. But who knew that I will never be walking alone in the path that I had already chosen for me. Maybe I had forgotten the fact that I was no longer that unfortunate which I used to be, but it was Kazan who was always there to remind me each and every time, how we can make our little world perfect and a happy one without having to sacrifice anything ever in my life. Yes, it was Kazan who finally dragged me out of my darkness even though he had to walk along with me in the path of the hell together with me. When I told him why I can not marry him in this life, he understood all my reasons and never ever tried to force me to do anything against my will and let me be the alpha of my Lunar High pack just as I wished to be, always through out my life, since the very beginning. Maybe because he was an alpha too. And he was well aware of all the responsibilities we alphas have towards our packs. So instead, he only asked me to marry him only to stay together for the rest of our life without any conditions, this time. He assured me that I do not have to leave my pack behind to marry him at all and to become the Luna of his pack, the Blood Bay. On the other hand, neither he wanted to become the Luna after marrying the Alpha of the Lunar High pack, which made much sense to me. His words were funny, I know. But it is what it is. And I saw how scared he got at that time realising that marrying an alpha would make him the Luna, technically, which will never be acceptable to any of us, especially not to Kazan. So, our wedding was proposed only for our sake. I stayed as the alpha of the Lunar High and he sta
yed with his Blood Bay pack without merging our packs, so that we could look after our own respective packs with all the responsibility. The only thing that changed our wedding was that we no longer had to stay alone without each other by our sides. We found our one home. Even though we had to take turns to live at both our places but we were always together as one family of us three, Kazan, me and our little pup Eugene. It was not that we lacked to fulfil our duties towards our packs, cause we did not. I worked hard to make my pack progress even more than before and Kazan did the same when needed, but at the end of the day, we always found our way back to each other to sleep peacefully in each others warm embrace. Sometimes I had to go back to the pack-house of the Blood Bay after a long day's work, while Kazan stayed back at my house the other times, but at the end of the day, we found ourselves always together and happy. What I meant to say is that, it was not the different places that mattered, but it was the persons who brought us the feeling of coming back home, to my mate Kazan, to our pup Eugene. And it was enough to fulfil our dreams to make a family of our own. So, after a few months from Eugene's birth, we decided to get married at last, after thinking about a lot of things together. We had a grand wedding though and exchanged our vows at last. Since then we were always together, in good and bad. Time made Kazan a responsible father as well, as he quickly learned how to take care of his son in my absence, as Eugene became the apple of his eyes. But, I just could not change his perverted side at all even though Kazan became a father already. He stayed the same as before when he was with me. It is not that I am complaining, cause I love him just as the way he is. Anyway, Coming to the others. Kaith and Jenny got married a few months back too and leading a happy life together. About Markus, well, he still did not find his mate yet, but he promised to wait for her, no matter how much time it was going to take. Seth and Jacob retired and spending their days with the members of their respective packs without any worries at all while Benjamin is still alive unfortunately to spend the rest of his life inside the closed walls of the prison cell of the dungeon, in the care of Jacob, and was still praying for his own death to escape from the tortures that he kept getting since the very day he got captured by us. In short, everything became right at the end. Yes, I kept thinking about all these things about our past, standing at the seashore where Kazan had brought me to spend some days, away from our busy lives at the packs, for once at least, when I was already at the verge of giving birth to another of our pup. The soft waves of the ocean kept coming and going back, on their own rhythm, making my feet wet ever so playfully. At this moment, I felt the slightest touch of two cold lips on the crook of my neck all of a sudden which pulled me out of my trance, and I knew who it was. Kazan. “When did you wake up.” I asked in a low voice, keeping my eyes closed for a moment only to feel the sweet torture that he had started, just now. His cold lips were trailing on the curve of my neck while his warm breaths were kissing my skin every now and then only to leave me with a lot of tingles everywhere on my body. The innumerable sparks that he was igniting inside me with his each and every touch were enough to heat up my body in an instant, making my cheeks go all red in the utmost pleasure. The cold breeze of dawn and the chilled water of the endless ocean was not at all enough to keep me calm now, while I was engulfed by the enticement of the one whom I love the most. I do not know how he is capable to make me feel this way each and every time with the slightest of his touch only to melt me right away. “The bed was cold as you two were not there, so how could I not wake up?” Kazan said in-between his kisses with which he was now invading every inch of my neck, my shoulder, my ears and everywhere possible. He did not even stop rubbing his head against my skin, bothering least about the fact that his each and every actions were arousing some kind of desire in both of us right at this moment. His soft hairs were touching my body, making me tremble in some inexplicable sensation. Even though I kept my eyes closed all this while to feel whatever he had to offer me right now with his little gesture, I kept holding the hand of Eugene, who was busy playing with the water however he wished, right now. “Well, your son woke up even before dawn and was crying to go out to play. You were sleeping, and I did not feel like waking you up. That was why I had to leave you alone.” I said. My eyes were still closed while I leaned my body back only to rest my head backwards on his shoulder, as he made sure to bend down a bit to my level only to go on with whatever he was doing. I was barely suppressing the moan which was already dying to come out of my throat at any time soon due to all the kisses he was cherishing me with. “You should have woken me up instead. Do you not know that you need to take care of yourself more now?” He said just beside my ears, while he stretched his hands from behind, even more, only to touch my huge and swollen belly, ever so softly. His hands did not stop caressing my abdomen which was now grown enormous in size, as if he was trying to feel the one who was now sleeping inside me ever so peacefully. “I am fine. You do not need to worry. This is not the first time for me, you remember?” I said, seeing him all worried about us, even though I knew that nothing I said would make him relieved even for a bit, but still, I wanted him to know that he was doing his best as the father of the two. The cold sea breeze could not freeze us anymore as the heat that grew in-between us two, was more than enough to keep us warm, at this moment. Soon the first ray of the sun came to kiss us ever so politely, making the whole surrounding lit up with joy, announcing the arrival of the new sun and a whole new day with new hopes in all our lives, after a cold dark night. I opened my eyes at last, and looked far ahead of me. The ocean sparkled up under the morning sun, while the horizon at the far kept playing with the most beautiful colours of orange, red, pink and purple, right above the never-ending turquoise blue. The sight was indeed marvellous and absolutely breathtaking. “I love you, wife.” Kazan whispered into my ears and pulled me back to his chest even closer than before, and wrapped his arms around me tightly. “I love you more, hubby.” I replied and moved my head a little bit to one side, so that I can look at him. But he did not let me do that, as he instantly buried his head on the crook of my neck once again. By the slightest glimpse that I could take right now, I clearly saw that his cheeks were surely covered with the crimson hue, declaring the fact that his condition was no different than me right now. Seeing the rude and grumpy alpha like Kazan, reacting in such a way before me, my heart started to race even faster, as if that was even possible now when it was already beating ever so loudly. “Thank you for giving me Eugene, and this little one so far. Thank you for making a family with me, Summer.” Again he said, without bothering to lift up his head from my neck. His breaths kept fanning on my skin, giving rise to a million of sparks right now. What kind of torture is that? “No. Thank you for never losing faith in me, Kazan, and for staying by my side always as my courage. Thank you for not letting me leave. Or we might never be able to spend the days with each other like this now.” I turned around quickly, without giving him enough time to hide away once again, only to see the most priceless expression that he was wearing right now. His eyes sparkled with my words while his cheeks turned into another shade of crimson as he hurried to pull me into a hug right away. But I stopped him from doing so, cause I wanted to take a good look at him. I wanted to remember how he looks whenever I show Kazan how much I love him every single time. I lifted up one of my hand without much of my consciousness only to touch his flustered cheeks ever so softly. His warm ocean blue eyes were like made to look at me only. His lips were like dying to kiss mine hungrily. And I had no intention to wait anymore. I tried hard to bring my lips as close as possible to his, but I could not reach them, cause now I have a growing belly in between us to bother us at such a moment. Seeing me frustrated for such a trivial thing, Kazan chuckled and bent down to help me with what I wanted to do in the first place. He sucked my lips clumsily while he shoved his tongue inside my mouth, letting it move in some insane rhythm along with mine. Even though we were becoming out of breaths, still he kept on kissing me as if his life was depend
ing on it. He did not stop kissing and nipping on my lips desperately and passionately until they become all swollen. And only when he was done savouring all the pleasure that he wanted to take away, he let go of me at last, leaving me panting. “You make me crazy, Summer.” He said in-between his uneasy breaths, after his long and intense kiss right now. The soft giggles came to our ears all of a sudden, which made us totally aware of the fact that Eugene was now staring at us with his two big blue eyes. Kazan let go of me at last, only to lift up the tiny little body of his pup and settled him on his shoulder, effortlessly. And then he stretched his one hand towards me to hold it, saying, “Let's go in. It is cold out here. I will warm you up.” So, I held his hand right away without making him wait for long and went inside. No, it was not a dream any more, but a reality. It was our life now. It is not a happy ending but a new beginning of our happy lives.
