Love for the Holiday

"You're sweet." I smiled. I wasn't sure what else to say.

The butterflies from his words still hadn't settled and I didn't trust myself to say much else. I feared my words would be scrambled or make me sound stupid.

"It's okay to accept a compliment and not feel pressured to reply," he chuckled.

  "Sorry."

"What am I going to do with you?" He smiled and cupped the side of my face.

Keep me, I wished to myself.

The thought crossed my mind so naturally. Here we were naked in front of each other and all I could see was his heart. Nothing else mattered in that moment. I just wanted to be with him.

When had I fallen down the rabbit hole and fallen for him?

"What are you thinking about?" He smiled.

"Us." The second the word left my mouth I began wishing for a time machine. Internally I was cursing myself out. "I'm so sorry."

I tried to sit up, but he didn't budge.

"You have to stop trying to run from me, Love," he laughed. "Especially, when you haven't given me a chance to reply to you."

"That's okay. You don't have to. I'll leave," I blurted and tried to move again. No luck.

Jacob shook his head and smiled.

"May I please get a chance to reply, Love?" he asked.

"Yes," I sighed then directed my eyes toward the ceiling.

"Love… look at me, sweetheart. Please?"

It took every ounce of courage in me to look at him, but I managed to. He was looking at me with soft eyes and a bright smile.

"Is there an us?" he asked.

"I… I wasn't implying that I thought we were a couple just because… um… you know… I just —" He placed his finger on my lips and I quickly shut up.

"Let me rephrase," he grinned. "Love, I'd like there to be an us."

"Really?" The word was faint, and I could only hope he heard me.

"Yes. Really," he said playfully. "This probably isn't the best time to be asking you to be with me, since…" He looked my body over and grinned.

"Yeah, our timing is off," I giggled.

  "A smidge."

  We both smiled.

"So, are we official?" he asked. There was a hint of shyness in his tone.

"It seems so." My tone was just as timid.

"Good." He let out a long breath. "I can breathe again."

"That's good but I already told you I was willing to do CPR." It was meant to be funny, but it came out like a siren luring a sailor to her with her sultry voice.

Jacob spread my legs far enough to where he was able to lean down and kiss me. His kiss was filled with passion. If I had been standing, his kiss would have knocked me off my feet.

Our tongues swirled around each other's, while our hands roamed over each other's bodies. His skin was smooth and warm. My arms finally settled on his shoulders.

He held himself up with one hand and his other hand brushed lightly against the side of my breast. I inhaled sharply at the sensation that shot through me.

"Feel good?" he asked. I nodded frantically hoping he'd touch me more. "What about this?"

His hand left my side and I whimpered in protest. My whimper was unnecessary because what I felt next felt a thousand times better.

The tip of his cock pressed against my pussy. I pushed my body forward hoping for him to slide through my wetness and fill me with his cock.

"Slow, sweetheart," he moaned. His eyes were closed. "I don't want to cum too —"

  "I don't care. I need you. Please."

He pushed the tip of his cock inside me. My pussy stretched as he pushed further inside me. My back arched at the pressure, pleasure, and a slight pain. My eyes closed and I gasped for air.

  He was huge.

"Fuck!" Jacob growled as he pushed through the tightness of my pussy. His cock now filled me.

I trembled beneath him as I tried to catch my breath. The mixture of pain and pleasure had my mind swirling.

"Love," he panted. "Are you a —"

I didn't give him a chance to finish his question. I clapped my hand over his mouth and looked him in the eye.

"Please, don't ruin this moment," I whispered through tear-filled eyes.

They weren't tears of sadness. They were tears of being overwhelmed. My body was now flooded with so many emotions; pleasure, passion, and happiness.

"Did I —" He mumbled behind my hand. I pressed firmly on his mouth and cut off that question, too.

  "Make me feel good, Jacob."

Slowly, I lowered my hand back down to his shoulder.

"Show me how much you want me," I smiled.

  "More than the world, Love."

He slowly pulled out leaving only the tip inside me. I wrapped my legs around him in protest so he couldn't pull all the way out.

"I'm not leaving, sweetheart," he laughed and slid back inside me fully.

My body allowed me to absorb the pleasure over the pain and I moaned loudly. He felt amazing.

He began moving in and out of me slowly. One of his hands took hold of my nipple and pinched it.

"Fuck!" I moaned as the feeling of a thousand volts rushed through me from one pinch. It was an intoxicating feeling.

"You are so tight, baby. So, fucking tight," Jacob growled.

With each thrust of his cock inside me, my body relaxed more and more. I moved my hips and matched his pace. He buried himself deep inside me.

My moans, screams, and pleas filled the room. Never in my life had my body felt so good. My pussy throbbed around his cock. My nipples hardened from my arousal.

His hands roamed my body. One of his hands fell between us. He pinched my nipple and circled my clit.

"Fuck!" I screamed with my eyes closed.

"Look at me, baby," Jacob growled in a husky tone.

He sounded like a sex god the way he commanded me. I would have done and given him anything with that tone.

I slowly opened my eyes. He continued fucking me, pinching my nipple, and torturing my clit. My nails dug into his back. I began to move my hands. I didn't want to hurt him.

  "Don't stop," he begged.

I raked my nails down the length of his back. He pinched my nipple hard. I screamed from the intense pleasure and pain. How could two opposite feelings feel so good?

  CHAPTER TEN

We panted in each other’s arms on the floor. My mind was still swirling from the wave of orgasms Jacob gave me. Every move he made; my body responded. It was like my body was made to be his.

“What are you thinking about?” he asked kissing the top of my forehead.

“Hard to think of anything after that,” I murmured against his chest. He chuckled then rubbed my back.

“You’re so beautiful. Perfect.” He kissed the top of my forehead again and sat up pulling me up with him. I groaned in protest. “We can’t lay on the floor forever, Love.”

  “Why not?” I pouted

“Because I don’t think the cleaning crew wants to see us naked.”

“Oh God,” I stood up. That’s the last thing I needed.

“Well, that motivated you.” He stood up laughing. “Let’s shower up then we can get out of here. How does that sound?”

We? Does that mean we are going on a date?

“Sounds good.” I smiled. “Wait. You have a shower here?”

“Am I not allowed to?” he chuckled.

He took hold of my hand and led me into another room. This one is a bathroom with a shower. Just the thought of washing up sounds heavenly. I could only imagine the mess between my thighs.

He turned on the water and adjusted the temperature.

“Let me know if it’s too hot,” he said stepping back to allow me to touch the water. I reached in and felt the water.

  “Perfect,” I smiled.

“Mind if I join you?” He took hold of my hips.

My heart skipped a beat then it began to pound like a drum. My chest tightened from anxiety. My cheeks burned from embarrassment.

&nb
sp; “Um… it’s probably a gross mess,” I admitted shyly and lowered my forehead against his chest. He laughed.

“I’ve delivered babies, Love. I think I can handle… that.”

My head snapped up and I looked at him.

“You’ve delivered babies!” I asked cheerfully. He nodded as he laughed. “That is so awesome.”

“I’ll tell you all about it while we shower.”

It wasn’t the most romantic conversation to have after having steamy sex, but it did ease the nervousness that was rising in me.

“Relax, Love. You’re in good hands,” Jacob smiled and then helped me into the shower.

“Well, aren’t you a smooth one, Doctor Holiday.” I laughed but by myself. Jacob is looked at me with devouring eyes.

“There’s something in the way you say that which makes me… um…” His eyes lowered down to his waist. My eyes followed down his chest, then his happy trail, and finally stopped on his hard cock.

I swallowed hard and squeezed my thighs together.

  “Round two, Doctor Holiday?”

  “Yes, ma’am.”

  ***

The next few days were filled with laughter, kisses, dates, and great sex. I now looked forward to going to work because I knew at the end of the day Jacob would be there. Throughout the day, he texted me sweet messages. Sometimes his messages were naughty, but I welcomed them all the same.

I felt like a rejuvenated woman. My patients even noticed the change in me. They said I was glowing with love. My love for Jacob was definitely in my heart, but I hadn’t told him that. It was too soon. I didn’t want to spook him and ruin the good thing we had.

Christmas was coming soon. Jacob mentioned several times in conversations about how he hated the holiday. He reminded me of a modern-day, sexy Grinch. He’d find himself ranting about Christmas and then apologize because he knew it was my favorite holiday.

I couldn’t be mad at him. If I grew up the way he did, I’d probably hate Christmas too.

Even though I knew he hated Christmas, I still wanted to get him something. I’d be taking a risk. A huge one. However, he couldn’t have a Christmas without a gift and knowing that someone cared about him.

“Three days until Christmas and I don’t have a clue what to get the man,” I sighed into the phone.

“Why don’t you get him a watch or something?” My cousin, Jennifer, replied.

Usually, I wouldn’t have called her because she has six kids and she worked all the time. The woman deserved to have downtime.

“Isn’t a watch a last resort present?” I asked, leaning back in my recliner.

“True,” she sighed. “What about tickets to some concert?”

  “He isn’t big on concerts.”

“Um… weird, but okay.” Her tone made me smile. “What about tickets to a football game or something?”

“I could do that.” I hadn’t thought of sports tickets. “But I don’t know his favorite team.”

I wished I had paid closer attention to the picture he had hanging on his wall.

“Oh, geez, Love. You are killing me here,” she laughed. “Buy a sexy Mrs. Claus lingerie outfit. Show up to his place and ho-ho-ho Merry Christmas.”

Part of me wanted to laugh. The other part of me thinks Jennifer is brilliant.

“You’re a goddess. Text me later?”

“Go slut it up,” she teased. “I’ll text you tomorrow.”

She up without a goodbye. Jennifer doesn’t like goodbyes. She says they mean we won’t see each other again. Instead, she’s rude and hangs up on you making you never want to see her again.

“Rude ass,” I laughed and placed my phone on my coffee table. I grabbed my laptop from beside me. “Time to do some shopping.”

  CHAPTER ELEVEN

The ringing of my doorbell wakes me from a peaceful slumber. I glanced at the clock. 5:00 AM. It’s Saturday. Why the hell would anyone be at my door this early in the morning?

With a groan, I pushed out of bed and made my way to the door. I glanced through the peephole and my eyebrow rose. I opened the door.

“Hey, beautiful,” Jacob said with a bright smile. He is dressed in a thick winter coat and jeans.

“Um… hey,” I said sleepily. “Everything okay?”

“Yes. Sorry to show up like this, but I wanted to surprise you.”

He grabbed my hips with his freezing hands.

  “Holy hell,” I shivered.

“Shit. Sorry.” He took his hands off me. “Go pack a bag.”

  “A bag?”

“I’m taking you away for the weekend.”

My eyes lit up. A surprise weekend getaway? This is like something out of a movie or a book. Romantic stuff like this doesn’t happen to me.

“Are you really?” I asked, trying to hold back the giddiness inside me.

“Yes.” He kissed me gently. “Go pack. Make sure you bring warm clothes.”

“Let me shower real quick.” I looked up to find him looking down at me grinning. “Would you like to join me, Doctor Holiday?”

He doesn’t need to be asked twice. He scooped me up into his arms. His arms are cold, but the thought of what’s about to happen next warms me up. I could really get used to this.

  ***

Four hours later, we’re walking into our cabin. The smell of cedar fills my nose. Jacob told me to stay inside while he grabbed our bags. I take the time to walk around the cabin and explore. It has a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a large bedroom with a fireplace in it. There’s a large fur-like rug laid out in front of the fireplace.

“Do you like it?” Jacob asked from behind me and scared me half to death. “Sorry, sweetheart.” He chuckled then walked by me with the bags.

“It’s okay. You just need to wear a bell,” I teased. For being such a tall, muscular man, he was light on his feet.

“If you don’t like the cabin, we can go back to the resort.” He placed our bags inside the closet.

“It’s perfect. I love it.” He turned towards me and smiles.

“I’m glad. I was worried you would hate it.”

  “It’s perfect, Jacob.”

He walks over to me and kisses me. He pulled me close to his body and the kiss ignited. After a few passion-filled minutes, he broke the kiss slowly.

“I want this weekend to be the best weekend of your life, Love.”

I looked up to see him looking down at me smiling.

“I have no doubt that it will be,” I replied snuggling against him.

“You want to go walk around?”

Truthfully, I wanted to stay cuddled up with him for the next few days. I would be just as happy doing absolutely nothing with him. However, I know he has other plans.

“That sounds nice,” I kissed him under his chin then stood up. “Let’s go get bundled up.”

  ***

“Are you sure this is a good idea?” Jacob asked looking over my shoulder and down the hill.

“You can deliver babies but can’t handle a little ole’ hill?” I teased.

He wasn’t thrilled when I mentioned about us going sledding, but I pulled the puppy-dog look and he caved. We had to take the ski lift to the sledding hill, which didn’t settle his nerves one bit. Sledding down a mountain wasn’t my ideal sledding either; however, we had already paid. Plus, I wanted him to have a memory of sledding since he never got a chance to do it when he was younger.

“If I die, I’m going to haunt you and your new boyfriend?” he warned. I leaned back against him, look up at him, and smile.

“You’re the only one for me.”

My cheeks burned from embarrassment. Why on Earth did I say that out loud? It came out so naturally, too. I faced forward and groaned.

“I’m the only one for you?” he asked softly.

“Time to go!” I yelled and signaled to the staff we were ready.

“Love, can’t you answer me first before you —”

He doesn’t get a chance to finish. T
he guy working the hill pushed the sled and off we went; down the snow-covered hill. Jacob held onto me for dear life. I couldn’t help but giggle.

“Oh! God!” he screams. I look over my shoulder and his eyes are closed.

“Open your eyes! Enjoy this!” I yelled and then faced forward again.

The view was gorgeous. The falling snow added to the perfect moment. I’m with the man I love doing one of my most favorite childhood things. Sledding had always been fun, but this was something much better.

“Are your eyes open?” I shouted.

“No!” The tone in his voice was priceless. Laughter erupted from me and doesn’t stop until we’re at the bottom of the hill.

“You guys okay?” A guy asked helping Jacob up.

“Yes. That’s was fun,” I said reaching for the guys offered hand. Jacob stepped in front of the guy and helped me up instead.

“Yes, we’re good. Thanks.” Jacob put his arm around my waist then lead me away from the guy and toward the ski lodge.

“You okay?” I asked. He replied with a nod. “Are you mad at me for begging you to go sledding?” I asked quietly and stopped walking.

Jacob turned and faced me. He grabbed both of my hands.

“I’m not mad, sweetheart,” he smiled. “Just got a bit jealous. That’s all.”

Jealous? I didn’t think Jacob had it in him. With his good looks, I figured he knew he had no competition.

“What’s there to be jealous about? He was just trying to help me up.” He shook his head at my words.

“Love, sweetheart, you are beautiful. Every man who crosses paths with you drools over you. I’ve been trying to bite my tongue this whole time,” Jacob chuckled. “I think I should keep you locked away.”

“That doesn’t sound so bad,” I grinned and wrapped my arms around him.

  “Naughty minx.”

“What are you one-hundred? Who uses that word anymore?” I laughed against his jacket. He wrapped his arms around me and looked down.

  “What’s wrong with that word?”

“Nothing.” I stepped away out of his hold and leaned down. I grabbed a handful of snow. “If you’re old!” I shouted and then hit him with a snowball. He stood in shock.
