BOMB Page 14

“I think I need someone like you more than you’ll ever know, Bellamy. I’m not here to walk out of your life. I know you can’t handle that. I’m here to stay however you’ll have me. If you want me as a friend, I’ll do that. If you want me as your lover and your man, I’ll definitely do that. I’m here either way.”

Oh god, that man. He made my heart swell. The terrified little girl inside of me wanted to run to him and believe everything he said. The toxic voice in the back of my mind wouldn’t let me though. For just a moment the little girl who wanted to believe in Cyrus pushed the toxic voice out long enough to nod.

“I want you, Cyrus. I want you as my lover,” I kissed his lips and climbed in his lap. “I want you as my man. I just want you.” We crashed against each other in a kiss that scorched everything around us. His hands were still cool to the touch but the heat from my skin warmed them when he slid under my shirt.

His fingers connected with my nipples and he squeezed. “Cyrus,” I whispered, tipping my head back. He licked and sucked on my exposed neck and puddles soaked the gray sweats he let me borrow.

How did his mouth know how to speak to my body so fluidly? He knew me as if I were an ancient language that had been programmed into his DNA.

I glanced at the closed meeting room door and then at Cyrus. It was like he knew everything I wanted to say before I said it. “I locked it behind myself.”

That’s all I needed to hear. In the next moment, I was out of those sweats and sliding myself down on top of his hard dick. I whimpered when his girth spread me until I thought I would split in two. I took the pain with the pleasure though and rolled my hips on top of him.

Cyrus dug his fingers into my waist and rode my motions like a thick baseline. “Fuck,” I moaned when he slid in deeper.

“Ride that dick, Bellamy.” He pushed my t-shirt up and latched onto my tits like he was ravenous. I fucked him like I hadn’t seen him in years. I fucked him until my breathing was shallow and short.

His hand crashed against my bare ass and the sharp pain made me yelp. Cyrus took the opportunity to choke the sound out with his hand around my neck. “You wanna get caught?” I shook my head and he pulled me in for a kiss sucking and biting on my bottom lip.

I’d never had a man consume me whole the way Cyrus did. He drove his dick into me from below and made sure he feasted on every other part of my body until I convulsed with a heavy climax. It was too dense to ignore. It required all my attention and faculties.

My eyes snapped shut and I let the tears fall the same way I let my inhibitions and guards fall, like bombs. Each one exploded as it hit the ground. I shook with every detonation.

“Oh my god,” I cried out. I locked my arms around his neck and he sank his teeth into me like it was the only way to tether me to earth. Otherwise, I would have turned into stardust.

“I need you to get up, sweetheart. I’m about to cum so fucking hard and I can’t cum inside of you.” He squeezed his eyes shut and I moved off his stiff cock. I dropped to my knees and presented my tongue.

Cyrus held my head in place while he unloaded in my mouth with a growl that gritted out from between clenched teeth. Once he was done, I slipped his throbbing cock in my mouth and cleaned him up nice and slow.

“You know you’re bad as fuck.” He helped me up and shook his head at me. “Come back to the house with me and we can finish talking. I don’t have to see this place until at least tomorrow. Let’s get the hell out of here.”

  Cyrus

I was so hypnotized by the sway of Bellamy’s hips, even in sweats, that I didn’t notice her grandmother and Pastor Wilson talking by the front door. I almost ran into her when she came to an abrupt stop.

I didn’t know exactly what her problem was with Wilson but I knew she didn’t like him and he was probably inappropriate with her. I scooped her petite frame behind me and shielded her from view.

“Bellamy, I called you several times,” Mrs. Harrison said, looking around me at her granddaughter.

“I know. I saw that. Done talking to God about me?” Bellamy’s guard was back and it was studded with spikes and barbed wire. She’d turned into a completely different woman from the time we left the meeting room to now.

“Do you see what I mean, Pastor Wilson? I can’t talk to her. She’s impossible like her mother. Why did God decide to test me with her?”

I sighed heavily and ran a palm over my face.

“Bellamy, did you want to talk to your grandmother?” I asked, looking over my shoulder.

“Nope. She put me out. I don’t have anything to say to her.” Well, at least she didn’t issue a big fuck you to the woman like I thought she would.

“You got yourself put out because you can’t follow simple instructions and guidelines for respect,” Mrs. Harrison barked. I cringed when I saw Bellamy’s claws come out. She folded her arms tightly across her chest. I recognize it as her tick. She was so guarded that it spilled over in her mannerisms.

Her long, artfully done nails draped over her bicep as she narrowed her cat-like eyes at her grandmother. “I followed your stupid ass rules and you still put me out because I didn’t take Pastor Molestor’s job offer. Fuck him and fuck you too.” She turned on her heel and stormed out of Cross Point. Shocked eyes were glued to her backside as she left.

Well, so much for her not giving her grandmother a big fuck you.

My eyes widened as I looked from Mrs. Harrison to Pastor Wilson. Bellamy exploded and left me hanging in the aftermath scrambling to find words to fill the gaping hole of silence.

“She will never set foot in my house again, spewing foul language and blasphemy like that. Pastor Wilson, I am so sorry. She’s clearly beyond even your help,” Mrs. Harrison’s lips drooped into a stern frown.

“Let me deal with her, Joan. She needs a stern hand and Pastor Cyrus here is much too lenient. It’s not his fault, that’s just how he is.” Wilson clapped me on the shoulder and I stared at the spot where his hand had been.

“I’m not too lenient. I treat her like a human being who’s entitled to be angry and blow up from time to time. I don’t think she needs to be coddled. She needs to be able to be her own woman.” I looked at Mrs. Harrison because if I stared at Wilson for too long, my hackles raised and I didn’t like the feeling I got in my gut.

“She probably turned down Pastor Wilson’s job because I offered her one and she accepted. I thought she’d want to work for a union and get excellent health care.” Nothing I said impressed Mrs. Harrison and I was worn out from trying. If she didn’t want Bellamy living in her house then I’d be more than happy to let her stay with me until she got enough money to get her own spot.

“See, working at a job you set her up with will let her get away with murder. She needs to be under my guidance. I’ll straighten her right out.” Wilson tutted and stared at the door Bellamy walked out of as if he could still see her.

“Pastor Wilson, can I speak to you privately?” It took everything in me to force those words out cordially. Mrs. Harrison huffed a bit and drew her brows together then turned her head and walked away.

“What is it, son?” Wilson asked once we were in his office. His chair complained profusely under his weight when he settled down.

“I want you to stay the hell away from Bellamy. I don’t know what bone you have to pick with her but I can see it’s inappropriate and it makes her uncomfortable. As long as she’s at Cross Point, she’ll deal with me directly and that’s it.”

The fire of rage had never been so hot on my face. I didn’t flinch away from it though. Wilson’s beady brown eyes bored into me as he leaned forward putting that chair to the test. He laced his meaty fingers between one another and said, “She’s gotten in your head, hasn’t she? Did she let you get her on her back? That’s how women like her operate. Watch yourself, Cyrus. You might think bucking up against me is wise but I can assure you it’s not.”

“I can assure you I don’t care about the con
sequences. Stay away from Bellamy. End of story.” I yanked his door open, ready to stalk out.

Wilson gave a gravelly grunt as I left his office, letting the door slam behind me.

Fuck him and fuck whatever he did to damage Bellamy.

“Can you take me to Joan’s house, please? She’s still in church and I want to get my shit before she comes home and lectures me to death.” Bellamy was already in my car with her seatbelt on. Her warm breath came out in white puffs against the winter air.

“Let’s go,” I winked at her and I swore the windows got foggy with her next breath. Shit, she did the same thing to me. Bellamy ignited a fire in my belly and made me realize that sometimes being bad wasn’t bad. Sometimes that’s just who you were at the moment.

While I drove to her grandmother’s house, I slid my hand over to her thigh and gripped it possessively as thoughts of Wilson stormed my mind. “What happened with you and Pastor Wilson?” I asked her. Her lips pursed and her eyes narrowed.

“I don’t want to talk about it. Let’s just go get this shit from Joan’s.” She paused and looked at me, rubbing the back of my hand. “Cyrus, would you mind if I stayed at your place for a little while?” She was so nervous, her knee jumped up and down until it was a blur.

“Hmm…let me think about it. I get to come home to your bad ass every night? I get to fuck you to sleep and wake up and eat your pussy? I get to see that smile all the time? Yes, you can stay with me, Bellamy.” She pressed her thighs together and heat flooded my hand, making my cock ache.

“Thank you,” she grinned. “I promise I won’t freeload. As soon as I get enough for an apartment, I’ll be out.”

“I’m not complaining.” I gave her thigh another squeeze and she let out a soft giggle.

We pulled up at Mrs. Harrison’s and Bellamy hopped out, keys in hand. I’d never been inside of her house before but somehow it looked just like I would have imagined. Crosses were everywhere and she had just about every incarnation of Jesus on her mantle.

Bellamy rushed up the steps so fast I didn’t get a chance to ask her anything. I followed her quick steps and saw her stuffing clothes in bags as fast as her hands would move. I jumped in and helped without question.

I pulled out a pair of red jeans that I’d seen her wearing in one of those Instagram pictures and I knew her ass would look fucking amazing in them. I paused and handed them to her, ignoring the confused look on her face.

“Why are you giving me these?” She asked.

“Put them on,” I smirked, licking my lips. I could already taste her on my tongue.

“Cyrus, we have to hurry up. I don’t want to get caught in here when she gets back.”

“Fuck that. She’ll be at Cross Point for at least another hour with the cross-stitch meeting. Put those jeans on and let me see that ass.” The way Bellamy fought her smile was adorable as hell. I sat on the creaky bed and watched her pull the sweats off and put the jeans on.

There was something about that little jump she had to do to get the rose red jeans over her full hips that turned my dick into steel. Her ass jiggled and I watched hungrily like a wolf that hadn’t eaten in days. She tugged on the button and slipped it into the hole with ease. I gripped my erection and shook my head at how sexy she was.

“Somehow you turned putting on a pair of jeans into foreplay. Anyone ever tell you that you’re magic?” I stood up and Bellamy’s hand went straight to my cock. I pinned her against the wall and pulled her hair until her chin pointed to the ceiling.

She tilted her head to the side, offering me her neck. I saw remnants of my teeth marks on her skin. I needed to put more marks on her. I needed to claim her.

I licked each bruise I left behind then created new ones while she wiggled and moaned. “When we get home, I want you to fuck my mouth with your perfect little pussy, okay?” My hand closed around her throat and she nodded with wide eyes. “Let’s finish getting your shit before I bend you over in this frilly ass bedroom.”

“I mean…I wouldn’t be mad if you did,” she grinned.

“Follow directions, Bellamy,” I teased, slapping her ass.

Shit, Pax was right. She turned me into a savage again and I wasn’t protesting for once. Maybe that was just a part of who I was. Nobody could be good all the time.

  ***

“Family, what’s up? You two kiss and makeup?” Pax was still sitting on the damn couch when we got back. Bellamy laughed and threw a punch that landed on his shoulder.

“You don’t have shit else to do, huh?” Bellamy asked.

“I wouldn’t say that, but this is my hangout spot when I’m not working. So what’s up, Halle Berry? You and Cy cool now?”

“Yes, we’re cool,” she laughed. “You can help and go grab my shit out of the car though since you’ve been in here sitting on your ass the whole time.” She tossed him a bag of clothes and he sighed before getting up to help me.

“She’s moving in?” Pax asked once we were in the driveway.

“For now. Not forever,” I explained.

“How long has this been happening?” Pax asked of me and Bellamy.

“We just went there last night but…I can’t lie and say I haven’t been into her since we first met.”

“I told you that shit,” Pax scoffed.

“Yeah, yeah. Bottom line is she can’t stay with her grandmother anymore and she doesn’t have anywhere else to go. I’m not going to let her stay on the street.” I told him after I grabbed the biggest bag.

“I get to be the best man in the wedding, right?” The cold air started to bite through my coat so I ignored Pax and headed inside. We moved all of Bellamy’s clothes and shoes in the house in fifteen minutes.

She was officially staying with me. Like everything with her, it came out of nowhere but I was glad she was with me where I could keep an eye on her and keep her safe.

  ***

Having Bellamy stay with me was like living in a dream. Once she accepted the offer at my job, I got to see her all day every day. Usually, that would get old real quick but not with her. No matter how many times I saw her, I always looked forward to seeing her again.

My heart used to live in suspended animation without Brianna and while I still missed my daughter, having Bellamy take my mind off things helped. I still called Kim daily and got the run around daily too. Sometimes her social media was blocked and sometimes it wasn’t. It was always a toss-up.

A week before Christmas I found myself sitting in what was supposed to be Brianna’s room, looking at the pale pink walls and the Shimmer and Shine decals. The dull thrum in my chest was back. The tightness in my throat was painful as I stared at pictures of Bri, wishing she were with me.

Bellamy was sleeping peacefully and I didn’t want to disturb her with my heartache. Since she’d been staying with me, I waited until she was asleep and stole away to Brianna’s room. I couldn’t wade through the pain anymore so I decided to call Kim and prayed that she was in a good mood.

“Cyrus? Why are you calling so late?” She answered within the first few rings.

“I can’t get you during the day, so I figured I’d try calling later. Is Bri up?” I asked.

“What the fuck do you think? No. She’s sleeping.” I shut my eyes for a moment and rubbed the space between my brows.

“Can you wake her up so I can talk to her? I haven’t heard her voice in weeks, Kim.”

“No. I’m not waking her up when it’s convenient for you.” On the other end, I heard a deep voice and rustling around. “I gotta go, Cyrus. Bye.” She hung up and I tossed my phone on the bed.

“Let me guess, that was your daughter’s mother that you never told me about and this must be your daughter’s room?” I spun around to see Bellamy wearing one of my shirts and standing in the doorway of Brianna’s bedroom with her arms folded.

I expected her to blow up at me but she didn’t. Instead, she walked in and rubbed my tense shoulders. “I’m sorry I never talked to you about them,” I said.
I held my head down and Bellamy rubbed and smoothed my hair giving me so much comfort from such a small gesture.

My arms slid around her middle and I pulled her in closer, anchoring myself to the rest of the world via Bellamy’s hips. My lips rested against her flat stomach and I poured my past onto the floor for her to examine as she wished.

“I met Kim a few years ago in Miami. I went with Pax and a few other friends. I had way too much to drink as usual and ended up taking one of the girls from the bar back to the hotel room.

We fucked. She left. That was it. I didn’t hear from her again until she called to tell me she was pregnant and didn’t have insurance. I put her on my policy and did my best to go to some doctor’s visits even though she stayed in Florida.

I didn’t find out my daughter was born until she was two weeks old. I flew down to see her and to make sure Kim was straight. I gave her money and made sure her fridge was full. I did whatever I could.

I told her that all I wanted was to see Brianna and spend the summer with her. I didn’t want to get the courts involved because I watched my parents go through a nasty divorce. She still jerks me around because she can. She knows I don’t want to take her to court but my patience is wearing thin. I’m running out of options.”

Once I was done, I looked up to see Bellamy’s reaction and instead of sympathy, I saw rage. She paced the floor with her arms folded, shaking her head.

“Cyrus, I hate that you have to go through this but after all the stuff you told me, I failed to hear the one thing you should have started off with.” She stopped pacing abruptly and looked at me with those stunning chocolate cat-eyes.

“What?” I blinked with a shrug.

“You never petitioned the court for paternity?” Bellamy’s words were atomic bombs. Now I was on my feet. We stood inches from each other.
