“Have the American’s hacked the codes on the Apophis Tablets?”
“Supreme Commander, the scientists are working on it as we speak.”
“High Commander Mustafa, until our scientists and satellite engineers tell me otherwise, I will assume that the Americans and her allies now know that Charleston and Savannah were not the primary targets. As you are aware, they were intended to be countermeasures and collateral damage. The mission was and still is to crack the Puerto Rico Trench and set off a chain of events that would leverage the power of volcanism to accelerate the sixth extinction.
The High Commander asked, “What do you command of me, my lord?”
She gave High Commander Mustafa that staring look and very calmly said,
“Recall all field commanders now. Everyone...all forces are to report to Hive Two, Operational Center in five days. Put all Genesis Hives on alert. Convene the High Council immediately.”

Jim draws inspiration from Tom Clancy, an American novelist best known for his technically detailed espionage and military-science novels. Born in Baltimore, Tom Clancy was an insurance agent before he went on to write blockbuster espionage books, including ‘The Hunt for Red October’, ‘Patriot Games’ and ‘Clear and Present Danger.’
Jim notes the similarities in his career path to Tom Clancy’s. Jim worked in the Financial Services industry as an insurance agent, Certified Financial Planner and a General Principal for several large financial firms before writing his first book, ‘Changing Faces – America’s Wealth Advisors.” Jim then turned his attention to his first military fiction novel, ‘The Sixth Extinction.’ Now comes his second military fiction novel, ‘Accelerant – Continental Drift.’
Jim wants you to know he was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia where as a boy, he watched huge container ships travel up and down the Savannah River. Savannah is also home to two military bases, Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Air Force base. He currently resides in Fairbanks Alaska, which is home to Fort Wainwright home of the United States Army Garrison and 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division.
Jim loves spending as much time as he can ‘Billfishing’ in the waters near Tortola BVI and Puerto Rico. He also loves hunting in. Alaska as the Sun Dogs dance across the sky. Jim is currently working on several fiction and nonfiction novels.
