  Aggi Normandy: Time Father and leader of the Northeastern division, friend and ally to Nicholai and the crew.

  Amadeu Houton: One of Revi Houton’s sons, sent to Home for Boys after Revi deserted his family.

  Ameyar: God of the Underworld.

  Arabella Houton: Revi Houton’s wife and mother to the Houton children. Threw herself into ocean when the division began to take her children away.

  A’ronn: Umbriel’s lover from hundreds of years ago, murdered by existing Time Fathers of that era.

  Avard (Commander): One of the commanders for the Northeastern division.

  Avigail Houton: Revi Houton’s eldest daughter.

  Avital York: Former Time Father for the Eastern division, killed at Panagea’s center.

  Barron: One of Ganther Odenhardth’s hired hands; skilled in tracking and obtaining information.

  Bartholomew Gray: Once the navigator and scholar to Kazuaki Hidataka’s crew; initiated to become Time Father of Southern division after Darjal Wessex’ death.

  Beast (The): Granite’s beloved dog.

  Bermuda: Quartermaster to Kazuaki Hidataka’s crew.

  Brack ‘The Rabbit’ Joney: One of the trusted members of Kazuaki Hidataka’s crew. Lackadaisical, humorous attitude, but trusted ally.

  Braser: Northern footman under Jernal’s command.

  Carlo Angevin: Former Time Father to the Southwestern division. Killed by Rennington Platts.

  Darjal Wessex: Former Time Father to the Southern division. Resurrected by his followers as a lesser god after Nicholai accidentally kills him in Avadon.

  Delysus: God of Protection.

  Dimjir: God of Mercy.

  Donius: God of War.

  Edgar Catteral: Mairyn’s late-husband, former soldier to the Eastern division before he was killed by angry citizens.

  Edvard Addihein: Time Father to the Western division and Nicholai Addihein’s father.

  Edwent: An elderly mail courier for the Southeastern division.

  Elowyn Saveign: Former medic for Northern military. Later became medic and trusted ally to Kazuaki Hidataka’s crew. Initiated as the only female leader in history when she became Time Mother to the Eastern division.

  Enita Addihein: Edvard Addihein’s wife, Nicholai Addihein’s mother, deceased.

  Emmy: Jessina’s daughter, who accompanies Revi Houton to Bricklemore.

  Emont: A former member of Avadon’s working poor, he took up leadership of the people in the Slums. After an encounter with Kazuaki, Nicholai, and the crew, he became a trusted ally that eventually became Time Father of the Southwestern division after Carlo Angevin’s death.

  Epifet: Goddess of Fertility. Motherly affection for Nicholai.

  Esther Hiddle: One of the many who were admitted into psychiatric facilities after gods manipulated her thoughts. Offers insights to Edvard during her containment.

  Evanston (Doctor): One of the highly skilled medical professionals of the Eastern division, hired by Elowyn Saveign.

  Everly: Wife to Thom, mother to a son who was killed during the gods’ reign of destruction. Helps Avigail get to Northwestern.

  Evvy: Rodgie’s daughter. Life was spared by Nicholai Addihein when he brought medicine back from Northeastern.

  Ganther Odenhardth: One of Panagea’s blue bloods and one of the wealthiest men in all of Panagea. Odenhardth name has deep ties to financial success.

  Garin Houton: One of Revi Houton’s sons.

  Granite: Trusted member of Kazuaki Hidataka’s crew. Loves animals far more than people.

  Hattie: A young girl the crew found in the aftermath of the gods’ destruction in Northwestern.

  Havidite: Goddess of the Harvest. Angry with humans for replacing gods with technology.

  Huric: Trusted friend to Elowyn Saveign, who gave his life for her safe escape when gods invaded Eastern.

  Iani Platts: The younger of the Platts brothers. Gave life trying to save a child from Carlo Angevin in Southwestern.

  Idie Breed: Jodathyn and Tabitha Breed’s daughter. Found her father’s corpse in garden.

  Itreus: God of the Lost (Souls). Friend to Avigail Houton.

  Jacob Houton: One of Revi Houton’s sons.

  Jed: A human follower of Delysus, God of Protection.

  Jernal: Loyal soldier to the Southern division, hired by Nordjan to be a Northern soldier after Darjal Wessex’ death.

  Jessina: Emmy’s mother, carried by Revi Houton into Bricklemore.

  Jirin: Former member of Kazuaki Hidataka’s crew. Shot dead by Bartholomew after he tried to kill Kazuaki.

  Jodathyn Breed: Former member of Avadon’s slums. Tries to make honest living by growing and selling crops after tensions settle. Gives his life for Havidite’s favor.

  Kal Rovanas: Ambassador to Southern division and lover of Bartholomew Gray.

  Kekona: Goddess of Animals. Has taken over Southwestern division.

  Koros: God of Lust. Killed by ‘The Steel Serpent’, Bermuda.

  Lakow: Friend to Jodathyn and Emont, former member of the Slums, once tried to rob Kazuaki and the crew.

  Lilac Finn: Daughter to Malcolm Finn and Nicholai Addihein’s lover. Shot and killed by Rodgie.

  Madros: God of Revenge.

  Mairyn ‘Catty’ Catteral: A widow and mother living in the Eastern division. Affinity for shotguns. Takes no bullshit.

  Malcolm Finn: Father to Lilac Finn and great friend to Nicholai Addihein.

  Marta: A waitress in Southeastern division.

  Meera: A member of the Monks of Montezu. Old friend of Brack Joney’s.

  Mimir: A lesser god, punished by the Unnamed for breaking Universal Law. Condemned to live in a well. Discovered by Kazuaki Hidataka and crew. Severed Bermuda’s hand and numbed her to any emotion. Tricked Kazuaki by giving him a cursed eye to help cleanse his soul. Later freed from well by Jernal, under the orders of Nordjan.

  Naphine: Goddess of Love and Umbriel’s mother.

  Natty Houton: One of Revi Houton’s daughters.

  Nicholai Addihein: Time Father to the Southeastern division; son of Edvard Addihein. An idealistic humanitarian, struggles to make any decision that might hurt someone else.

  Nordjan: Time Father to the Northern division.

  Olnos: God of Metal.

  Penn Elmbroke: Ended up in orphanage as a toddler after parents died. Rejected by society for his brashness as an adult. Found and became trusted member of Kazuaki Hidataka’s crew, despite his obnoxious social skills.

  Pymlena: Goddess of Wate

  Rayen: Lost soul. Sister traded her soul for his long ago, hoping Ameyar would spare his life. Still died, unable to enter any afterlife. Follows Itreus around.

  Rennington Platts: The older of the Platts brothers. Former soldier to Southern division. Abandoned unit with Iani when ordered to kill children of protesters. Ended up on Kazuaki Hidataka’s ship and became trusted member and ally.

  Revi Houton: Oldest member of Kazuaki Hidataka’s crew. Abandoned family after crushed by mental and emotional turmoil. Refuses to value his life due to his regrets, therefore making him a wild, valiant fighter.

  Rhirvin Kelum: A talented machinist in the Southeastern division. Built Nicholai’s mechanical forearm and many other inspired devices.

  Rodgie: Father to Evvy, who shot and killed Lilac in a desperate attempt to get Nicholai to stop time.

  Tabitha Breed: Wife to Jodathyn, mother to Idie.

  Thom: Husband to Everly, lost son when gods unleashed havoc on Panagea.

  Umbriel Dasyra: The last Earth Mother in all of Panagea. Has the ability to manipulate and re-energize cells and tissue, making her a proficient healer. Daughter to the Goddess of Love, Naphine. Undeniably attracted to Nicholai.

  Unnamed (The): Omnipotent being that created humans and all of Panagea.

  Vadim Canmore: Time Father to the Northwestern division.

  Victor: A member of the Northeastern military’s medical team, and one of the men who supplied Bermuda with military-grade stimulants.

  Villum: One of Ganther’s hired hands.

  Wulfgang Hion: Soldier to the Eastern division. Leader of the Underground, a group of Eastern soldiers who went into hiding after gods began to invade.

  Yaurel: A Northern soldier under Jernal’s command.

  Yolsa Houton: One of Revi Houton’s daughters.
