The Baby: A Steamy Rock Star Romance (Cruise Control Book 3)

Sebastian put his arms around her waist and pulled her close against him, then whispered in her ear, “You have to remain my fangirl, though.”
“Yes, I’ll always be your fangirl.”
Sebastian smiled, then took her hand as the elevator doors opened behind him, and they walked to his suite with him rubbing her skin, and Lita felt like all of her nerve endings were on fire.
“So, have you come back to your senses now?” Sebastian asked her with a grin on his face as they stood in the living area of his suite.
Lita sighed. It would be all too easy to fall into bed with him again, but she knew that she shouldn’t.
“Look, about last night—” Lita started to say as she pulled her hand out of his.
“No, princess, don’t say anything more; I have good memories of last night.” He pulled her into a hug and leaned down to kiss her neck softly. “I meant it when I said that I would try to get you into bed as often as I can.”
“Yes, but I made that ground rule for a reason. I shouldn’t have broken it.” Lita cringed.
“Lita, I get it. It’s just sex between us, but it’s kind of epic sex. Don’t tell me that you haven’t missed it.”
She didn’t answer because the truth was that she did, and maybe he did miss having sex with her, but he was getting plenty of sex from other women in the meantime.
“You’ll be flying back to Seattle tonight, and I won’t see you again until the scan. Do you really want to miss out on this opportunity to have sex together before you go?” Sebastian brushed his lips against hers softly.
“I don’t think it is just sex, though, Seb. You told me that you loved me.” Lita frowned.
“And you told me that I could sleep with whoever I want. I want to sleep with you. Now. Trust me when I say that I can separate sex and love. I’m practically a professional at it.”
Lita could feel her resolve beginning to crumble as Sebastian stroked the side of her face with his hand.
He lowered his lips to her ear and said in a husky voice, “It’s just sex. Kind of epic sex, and I promise to give you a really good orgasm.”
“Goddammit, Sebastian Fox.” Lita shook her head and shivered as a flood of arousal washed over her body. “I’m probably going to regret this, but okay.”
“We don’t have a lot of time,” Sebastian said as they entered the bedroom and he began removing his clothes.
“Not if you want to spend half an hour looking at me,” Lita laughed as she pulled her top off over her head and unclipped her bra, dropping both items of clothing to the floor next to her.
Sebastian was already naked, and he looked amazing. His eyes darkened as he strode over to Lita, placing his hands on her breasts and beginning to stroke her nipples with his thumbs.
“And I definitely do want to do that,” he told her as he dropped his head to kiss her.
He kept playing with one of her breasts and slipped his other hand under the band of her jeans, where she was well and truly wet and ready for him. She reached between them to stroke his erection in return, and it wasn’t long at all before Lita was coming, moaning Sebastian’s name loudly as she did.
He pulled his hand out from her jeans and said in a husky voice, “Open your mouth, Lita.”
She did as he instructed, and he put his fingers into her mouth. Lita placed both her hands on his and pulled his hand back and forth, mimicking the motions of sucking his more intimate parts. She was rewarded with his moan.
“See how good you taste, Lita?” Sebastian was breathing heavily as he said it. “And I’ll be fucked if I don’t want you on your knees in front of me right now. I don’t even care if you last ten minutes. At this point, I’ll pay you a million dollars for ten seconds.”
Lita smirked and kissed him softly before dropping to her knees. “Now, where’s the fun in that?”
She pulled her phone out of her jeans pocket and started the timer. He was already completely erect, though, so she had no relief at all, right from the start. Being able to see the time helped, though. She knew that she would’ve stopped after less than a minute if she hadn’t known how long she’d been going.
Her jaw was aching painfully by the time she reached the five-minute mark. She looked up into his eyes and managed to suck him for another forty-three seconds before she had to pull him out of her mouth.
“I’ll still pay you the million, princess, that was glorious.” Sebastian smiled at her.
Lita laughed. “No, if you’re actually going to pay me a million dollars, I want to earn it.”
“Believe me, you did.” Sebastian winked at her as he reached out for her hand and helped her stand up.
Once she was standing, Sebastian dropped to his own knees in front of her. He undid the laces of her shoes and helped her to pull them and her socks off. He looked up at her as he unbuttoned her jeans before he unzipped them and pulled them down, along with her underwear.
Lita stepped out of them and kicked them aside as Sebastian said, “You’re so fucking beautiful, Lolita.”
He slowly stroked her legs up and down, then put his hands on her ass and squeezed her cheeks before he brought his hands around to start stroking up and down her inner thighs. Lita gasped every time he took them higher and closer to her most intimate area.
“Is something wrong, princess?” Sebastian asked her as he brought his hand up to hover just underneath her. She desperately wanted him to touch her.
“Yes, I need you to make me come,” Lita groaned.
“Do you, princess?” Sebastian asked and stroked her softly, just once.
“Oh my god, yes, and I need more than that.”
Sebastian reached both hands up to part her lips, and he knelt in front of her, just looking at her. Lita watched him, on his knees, worshipping her. She enjoyed it when he did this now. Knowing that he was so turned on by her body that he wanted to stare at her was a powerfully intoxicating feeling. After a minute or more, he finally put his tongue where his fingers had been before, and Lita squealed as the sensations hit her. It wasn’t long at all before she was coming while she moaned his name.
He got to his feet and kissed her deeply. Lita could taste herself on his tongue. They made their way to the bed together, where they continued to kiss each other. Eventually, Sebastian lay on his back with his erection ready for her.
Lita positioned herself over him and slid herself onto him with a soft moan. “God, you feel so good, Seb.”
“I could say the same thing,” he said through heavy breaths. “You look amazing when you ride me like this.”
“Best ride of my life,” Lita confirmed as she began to do just that.
They moved in sync together. Sebastian reached his hand down to stroke her clit as she rode him, and Lita groaned. Soon, she was coming again around his hard cock, and as her muscles clenched around him, she felt him come inside of her.
Lita collapsed on top of him as he did, unable to hold herself upright any longer. Sebastian kissed her and rubbed her back softly with his hands.
“I love you, princess.”
Sebastian seemed to realize his mistake at once because his entire body stiffened, and Lita climbed off him immediately.
“Fuck, I didn’t mean it,” he said.
“Sure, you didn’t. ‘It’s just sex.’ Goddammit, I broke my own rules twice in less than twenty-four hours.” Lita shook her head.
“Is it so fucking bad to have me love you?” Sebastian asked.
Lita had already begun to walk toward the bathroom when he said it, and she spun around to look at him. He looked beautiful and forlorn, laying naked on the bed in front of her, and she ached to be in his arms again.
“Yes, Seb, it is. Because I don’t love you like that, and I don’t want to be in a relationship with you. Because you fuck other women every chance you get. Because we’re having a baby together, and I don’t ever want to hate you or for you to hate me. This can’t happen again.”
She spun on her heel and walked out of
the room, fighting the tears that were threatening to fall.

LEVEL 18 – The Second Wedding
Dreaming during pregnancy can be intense. Some people have dreams, including powerful, intense emotions and clear imagery that makes it seem as though the events are really happening.
It’s not great when you’re having a nightmare, but nobody’s going to complain when they wake up mid-orgasm in the middle of the night, that’s for sure!
Sebastian left while she was in the shower, and once she’d gotten dressed again, Lita went downstairs and checked into the hotel room that had been booked for her. She collected her things from Sebastian’s room and took them to her room to get ready.
Lita pulled the gold dress on over her head and admired Heather’s handiwork in the mirror. She brushed out her hair and did a braid from the right side of her forehead down to the nape of her neck and tied it off with a small elastic band, leaving most of her hair loose. She got out her makeup bag and did her makeup, which took her about twenty minutes. Heather had told her last week to bring gold shoes, and she had borrowed a pair from Becky.
Finally, she pulled out her phone, took a couple of pictures of herself, and sent them to Becky.
I’m off to the wedding. I think I look okay and did all right with my hair and makeup.
Lita smiled when Becky replied.
Wow, you look amazing, Lita! That dress is GORGEOUS.
Yeah, Heather did an amazing job. I love it.
Lita sighed heavily, then called Becky.
“I had sex with Sebastian,” she admitted when Becky answered her call.
“What? When?”
“Last night and again this morning. He told me that he loves me after we did it this morning.” Lita cringed.
“Shit. How are you feeling?”
“Like crap. I love him, Becky, but what good is loving him or him loving me when he keeps going and sleeping with other women? I need to be sensible and think about the future and what’s important, which is that we can be on good terms for our baby. I can get sex anywhere; god knows Sebastian does. But he’s the father of my baby, and that won’t change.”
Becky sighed. “I’m sorry, Lita. I wish things were different for you.”
“Thanks, dude. The worst part is that it’s still so good when we’re together. I can practically forget that he’s been off fucking people other than me. Like, maybe there is a way for us to make it work?”
“I’m going to be honest with you; I don’t think so. Think about how you’ve been feeling the nights he’s been going out and sleeping with other women. Do you really want that to be the norm, long term?” Becky asked her.
“No, you’re right. I want a boyfriend who’s in my bed every night, not to be sitting at home with his baby while he’s off sleeping with half of Seattle or Chicago or wherever the hell else when he’s on tour.” Lita felt an ache in her heart as she thought about Sebastian sleeping with other women. “I just wish it were different.”
“I know. Are you going to be okay at the wedding?”
Lita gave a bitter laugh. “Fuck knows. A whole wedding full of new people, and probably tons of celebrities, as well. Let’s not forget the baby daddy, who I just told I wouldn’t sleep with again. So, he’s probably pissed at me, as well. Sounds like a blast!”
“Well, text me if you need moral support. Worst case scenario, fake being sick to get out of it. Shit, I can’t believe we’re talking about ways to blow off Gabriel Knight’s wedding.” Becky laughed.
“My life has definitely changed a lot, that’s for sure. I’ll text you later.”
They hung up their call, and Lita headed downstairs. She followed the signs to the ballroom where the wedding ceremony was taking place. It was the same room where the bachelorette was held, but it looked completely different, and Lita gasped when she walked into the room.
She felt as though she was walking into a garden. There was lush greenery everywhere, mixed with lilac-colored flowers. In the corner of the room was a small pool that she was sure hadn’t been there last week but looked as though it had been there forever.
Sebastian was standing up front with the other guys, where there was a gazebo covered in more greenery and flowers. He was wearing a tuxedo and looked absolutely gorgeous. Lita had seen pictures of him at Harrison’s wedding, but he hadn’t looked anywhere near as good then. Or maybe it was just because she hadn’t had sex with him when she’d seen those.
Lita hovered at the back of the room as more people entered and took their seats. She didn’t know where to sit.
A man in a suit came up to her and asked, “Bride or groom?”
“Umm, groom, I guess?” Lita didn’t really know.
The man smiled and indicated to the right side of the room, and Lita thanked him. She looked up to the front again and caught Hayden’s eye. He smiled at her, and she smiled back at him, then she kind of hovered because she didn’t know how far up to sit. Hayden said something to Sebastian, who turned and saw her.
He swept down the aisle toward her as though he owned the world. When he reached her, he said quietly, “Hey, princess, you look beautiful.”
“Hi, Seb. You look amazing,” Lita said, feeling awkward.
A lot of people in the room were looking at them, and she felt like she should say something about the way they’d left things earlier.
“Look, about before—I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to hurt you.”
The smile fell from Sebastian’s face as he said, “You never do. We don’t need to talk about it, though. You’ve made your position perfectly clear. Can’t we just…I don’t know, forget about everything, and enjoy Gabriel and Ariana’s wedding?”
“I can leave if you want. Would you prefer that?” Lita asked.
Sebastian sighed. “No, princess, I wouldn’t. We’re not together, but you’re still the mother of my child. You’re my family, whether you like it or not. You belong here today as much as the rest of my family do.”
“Okay, I’ll stay then.” Lita smiled at him.
“Will you dance with me later, too?” he asked as he smiled back at her.
“I suppose I can do that.” Lita shrugged.
“Good. Come with me; you can sit with my family, where you belong.”
Sebastian took her hand, and Lita was calmed by it as he stroked her skin with his thumb. Everything was so complicated bween them, but she felt soothed by the familar action and realized that she’d started to feel overwhelmed being here. Some of the guests that were taking their seats were very famous celebrities, and Lita felt completely out of her depth.
He took her to the front of the room and led her to the fourth row, where she could now see that Bianca and Nathan were sitting alongside two older people. A woman who looked very like Bianca, and a man who had the same striking blue eyes as both Nathan and Sebastian.
“Mom, Dad, you remember Lita. Grandad, Nonna, this is Lolita Ciccone.”
“Lita, it’s lovely to see you again,” Nathan said to her with a kind smile, and he shook her hand.
She shook the hands of Sebastian’s grandparents, and Bianca stood to give her a hug before sitting back down again.
“Sorry, princess, but I’m going to have to leave. I believe I’m needed for some random thing someone wants to do today,” Sebastian said from behind her, and she turned to see him grinning at his own stupid joke.
“Of course; I’ll see you later,” Lita smiled.
“I mean,” Sebastian said while gesturing to his previous spot by Gabriel’s side. It was only actually about twenty feet away from where she’d be sitting. She could see the other guys watching them with some amusement now. “I’ll be right there. You will probably be able to see me the whole time.”
“It’s tradition to look at the bride when she walks down the aisle, Sebastian Fox; don’t think that I won’t give you hell if you’re not watching Ariana do that,” Lita laughed.
“How will you know that I’m watching you instead
of her if you’re not watching me instead of her?” Sebastian asked and raised an eyebrow at Lita.
Lita pursed her lips and said, “Hmm, good point. I’ll just have to trust you, I guess.”
Sebastian laughed and hugged her quickly, then left her to take his place back with the other men at the front of the room.
“It’s so nice to see Sebastian happy,” Bianca said to her, smiling as Lita sat down beside her.
Lita felt a pang of guilt; Bianca clearly had no idea what was going on between them. “I can’t stress enough that we’re not together, Bianca. We’re just determined to be good friends and parents to our baby.”
He was talking to his friends now, but every now and again, he would look over at Lita and smile at her.
“Even if that’s the case, he’s still happy with you, Lita.”
Lita didn’t know what to say; her heart hurt to know that there was some unobtainable reality where Sebastian and she might be able to have a very different relationship to the one they had now.
Evangeline and Celeste were sitting in the front row with the rest of Gabriel’s family, and Lita was distracted from her thoughts as they turned around to wave at her with smiles on their faces. Lita could see Hayden’s sister, Vanessa, sitting further down the same row, on the other side of Sebastian’s grandparents.
More guests were coming in now, and Lita only just managed to hold back a gasp when she saw Darius Thompson walking into the room with his wife and children. She’d recognized a lot of these guests, but Darius was pretty much the world’s biggest movie star.
They made their way up to sit in the front row on the left-hand side, and Lita’s eyebrows almost flew off her face when they did. Were they related to Ariana? She’d expected that Darius must be a friend of Cruise Control, but sure enough, Ariana’s mom and grandmother stood and turned to give them all hugs as they took their seats next to them.
The room slowly filled up, and then everyone went quiet when the music started playing. Lita saw a group of musicians with string instruments in the back corner of the room and recognized the familiar strains of “Air on the G String” by Bach, just as Dina appeared in the doorway. She was wearing a beautiful, strapless gown that brushed along the floor when she walked. It was made from gorgeous lilac lace and embroidered with flowers. She was carrying a small bouquet of pink, lilac, and cream flowers mixed with some greenery.
