“Are you suggesting we leave our own celebration early?” He grinned at Kade and then activated the newly installed communication link that now connected the three of them. “Because I think that’s a damn fine idea.”
“What idea? I thought we agreed to do all our planning together from now on?” Shadow asked on the same link.
“We think it’s time to go home, mahaya,” Kade said.
Shadow turned and grinned at them. “To our new place? The one with a bed so big it has its own gravity?”
“That’s our plan, yes. You in?” Kade asked.
Shadow laughed out loud and left the group of males without so much as a backward glance. “Take me home, please.”
It was such a simple request, but it made Denz’s heart soar. He and Kade took their beloved by the hand and led her back to the house they’d picked out together.
It wasn’t the home he’d imagined he’d have or the life he’d envisioned, but he knew without a doubt he was where he was supposed to be. Shadow was his destiny, and together, the three of them would build a future together…as a family.
