--------------------
These are poems that came to me and urged me to move my pen. Sometimes in the middle of sleep they would come, and they would not relent, till I gave them their due …… “Expression”!

Beauty Is Found Everywhere!
Beauty is found everywhere,
I open my eyes in the morning and it's there,
I close my eyes in the night and it's there.
The dog is cute so is its wagging tail,
The cat is pretty and maybe it's occasional snare.
The sun of the rise and the sun of the set,
The night with and without the moon,
The laughter of the baby, and of the carefree lady,
The bulb on the wall, the delicious food stall,
There doesn't seem a place which does not get me involved.
So much to read, to learn, to do,
To succeed at times, to fail at times,
Friendships and the occasional tiffs,
The appreciations and the random cribs,
Each experience of life is so varied and rare,
To overlook it's beauty is a lack of care,
Walking with the eyes open,
And listening as if it's a life saving instruction,
Carefully if we see around,
We'll notice creation and destruction,
The melting lavas, the sinking sands, the rising oceans,
Varied are things in God's emporium.
The kick from His beauty is beyond any opium,
I open my eyes in the morning and it's there,
I close my eyes in the night and it's there,
Beauty is found everywhere!

The Pleasures Of Uncertainty
Venturing into the unknown,
This habit is danger prone.
But the stale waters can't suffice,
Curiosity's thirsty appetite.
Beyond oxygen when the lungs breathe,
Beyond limitations when the mind seeks,
To light, render, the hidden, who want,
Those guys are far from the dawn.
The search is their stay,
In uncertainty they play,
Locked by their desire,
In the unfamiliar,
They light their fire!
The heat of the sun,
The wet of the rain,
The chill of the wind
Or the storm's strong will,
None in their heart's,
A permanent fear can instill!
This uncharted trip,
Where mysteries are deep.
A consumption of the self,
When others sleep and they delve,
It's life after twelve.

Life At The Hilltop
The hilltop is quiet,
Refreshing its air,
Filling my lungs,
Taking away the climb’s tire.
The view from here is clear,
It's complete, it’s whole.
The days are spent looking below,
The nights, gazing at the skies above!
The birds are few and friendly,
The trees are peaceful shelters,
Their fruits are the body’s food,
And thoughts, mind's fodder.
The water of the stream,
Is pure and cold,
Originating from the source,
It contains all cures.
Alone ….. on this peak so high,
This is where I can let out a sigh,
I sink into the depth of my mind,
Drown into the sea of my heart,
Away from all the hustle and bustle,
To the end I give a start!
******
The Gist
To burn a raging fire,
Is to cool it.
To destroy the paining wound,
Is to heal it.
Words mean the same,
They change only their name,
Seeing their disguise,
Is the game of the sane.
Married to silence,
Oh! Widow of distress,
On the other side lies,
The end of your duress.
Conceptions on the end,
Is your city's trend,
Where colors of spectrum,
In each other blend.
If I say more than this,
I may not be able to give,
What you will realize,
When you get the gist!
******
One And The Same
The seed in the germination,
And the fruit in the culmination,
Are one and the same!
The rocks of the seashore,
And the walls of the fortress,
Are one and the same!
The grass in the pastures,
And the blood in the horse's vein,
Are one and the same!
The flutter in her voice,
And the jitter in my heart,
Are one and the same!
You, me,
He, she,
They,we,
As much as, look different,
Are one and the same!
******
Pursuing The Gods
In the ponds of acceptance,
I soak myself,
With the waters of solitude,
I take my bath.
Clearing my eyes,
To sift the truth from the lies.
To fallacies and deceptions,
I bid a fond good-bye.
Patience is welcome,
So are quiet friends,
Surrender and perseverance,
Until the river bends.
Mining my mind,
Digging my soul,
Until all
truths,
Of life I may behold!
Blending into one,
The moon and the sun,
And when I echo His thoughts,
I shall be done.
*******
Alchemy
The body burns,
And so does the soul.
As fires of truth,
Turn stone to gold.
The ultimate purge,
Where good and bad diverge,
After embrace of the god
Man works on his own accord.
Calm in fires,
And in the forest's deep.
Eyes looking for the truth,
Find joy even in the weep.
A blessing it is,
To accept one and all,
When all colors of the rainbow,
Begin to enthrall.
******
Gratitude
How can I forget?
Those who promises kept,
When all was swept,
And darkness had crept.
An island they made,
When, lands had crumbled.
Solace, they gave,
When the heart had rumbled.
Silennce, their understanding,
Quietness, their virtue.
Enabling the traveler,
His travels further pursue!
As I travel today,
I may not have much to give.
Those, who could not,
I intend to forgive.
This life is to learn,
Wisdom, will be my yearn.
And when my work is done,
I shall return,
To return the favors,
To acknowledge their endeavors.
And if I may not come,
For reasons unsung,
My love will come,
With the winds and the fern!
******
Unperturbed, Undisturbed
Unperturbed, undisturbed,
In the lake of my dreams.
Weaving new realities,
Possibilities unseen.
The sky is blue,
And the water's clear,
The mud at the bottom is brown,
Under the water of dream's lakes,
There are villages, cities and towns.
The flow of thought, the surge of emotion,
Can quickly turn the lake into an ocean.
And when it overwhelms,
I take a deep breath,
And come back from my supposed promotion!
From tides to silence,
From ocean to lake,
The dream's experience,
Covers every detail.
Comprehensive and crisp,
Filled with calming bliss,
Flowing in its undercurrent so soft,
I lose a sense of time and clock.
Free to be, free to please,
The depth of the lake is the ultimate release.
Disturbed not, Never bothered here,
In the lake of my dreams, I lie,
Unperturbed, Undisturbed.

The Oils Of Diversity
Looking for something different,
For that ‘out of the blue’,
On a search which has few clues,
But still the idea to the mind glues.
In uniformity the spirit dries,
In diversification's oil, my creativity fries,
Crisp from its transmutation,
Containing innovation's flavor,
The ideas of variability,
Can embark on different endeavors!
From the same shores, leave boats many,
From the same tree, hang fruits many,
On the same sky, reside stars many,
How can one taste quench curiosity,
It's this observation; the forerunner of my epiphany.

A Different Wakefulness
I would rather sleep in peace,
Than to wander around restlessly,
I would rather be happy in defeat,
Than to be successful recklessly.
For what is it that we gain anyway?
For what is that which we take our way?
Alive today, gone tomorrow,
Burnt to ashes all the pains and the sorrows,
Fighting with life and people around,
Explaining, Convincing , Persuading all the time,
But none will persuade the lord of death,
For in death's chariot we will be taken away,
They will not listen to pleading or despair,
No logic, No reasoning, No putting a good word,
To heaven or hell we do not know,
To another journey on another plane we do hope so!
Then what is the meaning of life right now?
If life's a journey then the destination is an illusion,
The peak of the mountain then is nothing but a delusion,
What is it for that we have come to be?
Maybe to know ourselves and another's heartbeat,
May not the warmth of our heart's freeze,
May not the blind rush put on us a veil,
May we appreciate each other as we are,
May we see in each person, his inner star,
Life is a flux, a flow, a rise and fall,
In the end it matters how much we got enthralled!

Resurrection
As I rise again from my fall,
I realize what I missed,
The joys, the pleasures,
And life's sweet kiss.
I shall find again all that was lost,
Will not fall again , no matter what the cost.
The mistakes of the past I will not resurrect,
The flaws within myself I will try and correct,
The memories of the past I will forget,
The tears from my eyes have all but wept,
The dust that was there has all been swept.
I will not take a turn,
Straight to the goal I will run,
I’ll face the orders short and tall,
And conquer each and every wall.
No chances will be left,
No worries, no regrets,
On the way I will not stop,
Whatever may be the block.
Life is a single chance,
Sit in the corner or have a little dance,
As times run out to do your bit,
Do all you can without any drift.
Love, laugh, enjoy all the way,
Watch the sunrise , watch the sunset,
Collect souvenirs on your way,
To share with friends you find another day.
To fall is but a part of the journey,
To rise again is a must to avoid monotony,
We never know if we will reach the end,
But if we don't walk we will never know my friend.

A New World
An afterthought is better than no thought,
A restart is better than no start,
A reassessment is better than no assessment,
And a rebirth better than no birth.
As the wood cutter chops new wood every day,
And the farmer everyday ploughs his field,
In the same fashion my mind makes me every day,
A fresh crop of ideas yield.
As barriers will break,
And boundaries will melt,
As we walk on new roads,
New feelings will be felt.
Creation of the new,
The breaking of the old,
As we all continue,
To seek a new gold.
The thresholds of creativity will be crossed,
The doors of divinity will be knocked,
The ship at the shores of stability will be docked,
In our hearts love for each other will be stocked.
Night o
r day, summer or winter,
Our hearts will be possessed by beauty's splendor.
Together we will make the world anew,
Like on the grass in the garden fresh morning dew.
The attics of old beliefs will creak,
The waters of stagnancy will leak,
There will not remain anything in the dark,
As on this new journey we shall all embark.
The limited views of the past will be left,
There will be no cry, there will be no sweat,
There will be a fragrant mist around the earth,
And in every breath God's love will be felt!

If God Asked Me?
If God asked me
“My son what would you like to preserve if took everything you had but one thing?
To that I replied
“Oh! Lord, if you were to strip me of all but one, it's faith that I would like to preserve and no one.
Asks me God “Why is it that you make such a choice?
To that I replied
“Oh! Lord When I had nothing with me,
nothing that you take back today,
I had hope,
It was because of this ability,
that I could hold onto any rope.
If the sun rises again every day,
And the earth goes round
it's only because of faith's sound.”
“The earth was nonexistent one day,
and will not exist on another,
and this has caused us fear and flutter.”
But its hope that binds the earth and the galaxies abound,
It's faith that lifts us when we are about to drown,
It's through faith that we make progress and make this world a better place,
Indeed no other virtue can take hope's place.
God to this said,
“Well my son, you have answered well.
I decide not take all you have,
Use this power of faith and try to create a heaven,
Where ever you find a hell!

A Day From My Life
The sun breaks open the sky as the night is ready to fly,
I wake up from my bed as there are things to comply,
I brush, take my bath and have my coffee,
I am approaching the time to leave for my office,
I take my bag, and walk down the stairs,
And as I open the gate there's this dog giving me a stare
Every day I find him in the mornings and on returns,
He likes to slip into the building compound whenever given a turn,
Silent and always wagging his tail, he seems to always have questions,
Questions like ‘I hope you will not hit me?’
Questions like ‘I hope you will let me in?’
He is quite polite though for a stray dog
Seems like he is more connected to the Gods!
I reach my office and I get on with my work,
We work together and eat together in the office,
We talk about a huge variety of topics,
From Obama to Osama, from USA to China,
From the girl next door to an exotic variety of banana,
The day just passes by in so many things
The day is over, I've had my dinner,
I lie on my bed thinking who’s the winner,
What's the difference between me and the dog,
Our needs are all the same, as all the species,
We need food, water and place for living,
All on earth, live and then die,
Why do I run so much? What do I get?
Thinking so I did not realize,
When my eyes just closed,
And I fell into a deep forget.

The Dust From The Gold
It seems to be coming close,
After a long journey it seems to be coming close,
Maybe if I walk a little I may see it,
Maybe if I run a little I will reach it.
