“Your brothers flew in to London for the occasion. We really wanted to do this the right way," Brandon's adds.
"Are they okay with this?" she asks, pointing to all three of us.
"All four of them gave us their blessings," Brandon replies.
"Wow," she shakes her head. "Just like that?"
"I don't think it's a secret anymore how much Holden and I love you, sweetie. Now that we have a baby on the way, I'm sure they'll be relieved to know that you'll always be taken care of by one of your loving husbands."
“This is unbelievable,” she gushes.
"Which brings us back to your original question," I veer the conversation. "Brandon and I talked about it and you'll marry him officially and then we'll have another ceremony at the penthouse with friends and family."
"Seriously?"
I nod. "Yes. Without his determination to go after you regardless of the fact that we grew up on different sides of the road, I wouldn’t have pursued you, certain that you’d never give us the time of day. Brandon forced my hand and thanks to him we’re this unshakable union."
"Not to mention that I'm her first kiss," Brandon reminds me. He pumps his chest out like a freaking peacock to drive his point.
"Fucker," I quip.
"Love you too."
I roll my eyes at him.
"To go back to what I was saying, you’ll become Mrs. Buckingham, but know that I’ll be your husband as much as Brandon is. I’ll stand by his side and always protect you and our family. I love you, Amelia.”
“You hold my heart in your hands forevermore," Brandon proclaims.
"I love you too,” she sobs.
She opens her arms and embraces us. Brandon and I hug her back.
Here we are standing in the middle of Paradise on earth, set to start a brand new chapter of our lives. Our dirty little princess will soon be our perfect wife and the mother of our children.
