“Do you like watching me touch myself?” she asked boldly.
Thane gave her a wicked smile, his eyes dancing with delight at the sight of her finger sliding in and out of her slick cunt. “Why don’t you take those off so I can get a better view?”
Jazmine followed his command and quickly removed the obtrusive barrier from his eyesight. Laying back down, her knees bent upwards towards the ceiling, she spread herself open with her fingers so he could get a better view of her throbbing clit. While he watched, she slipped two fingers into herself, her body enjoying the sensation of being fucked.
Jazmine laid her head back on the arm of the couch and closed her eyes, letting the sensation of her fingers inside her take over. While she continued to fuck herself, she placed her thumb on the pink, wet center that was screaming for attention. Her thumb worked in a circular motion while her fingers rocked back and forth, pumping her. Jazmine could feel a warm fire building in her, bringing her close to her release. A low moan from deep within escaped from her plump lips.
Jazmine opened her eyes to look at Thane, she could see she was driving him crazy. As he licked his lips, Jazmine demanded huskily, “Fuck me!”
Thane followed her command instantly. Grabbing her hand, he pulled her fingers out of her throbbing pussy and replaced them with his engorged cock. It only took one thrust to send Jazmine over the brink of ecstasy. Her body convulsed with pure waves of euphoria as Thane pumped into her over and over, his release coming within seconds of hers. Thane let out a feral growl as his seed spilled into her, his spent body collapsed on top of her.
They both lay there silent for a few minutes, waiting for their breathing to return to a normal state. Jazmine reached up and absentmindedly ran her fingers through his hair. She smiled at him, “What do you say we return back to our guests? We wouldn’t want them to think we’re rude hosts, now would we?”
Thane looked up at her. “I don’t fucking care what they think. They bow to me and if I want to fuck my Queen, then I’ll do that anytime it damn well pleases me--or you,” he added, his face stark cold.
Thane picked himself off of her, moving over to the empty space on the couch. Jazmine sat up and pulled down her dress to cover herself back up. She smoothed back her long hair. Looking over at Thane, she started, “Ready?”
“I’ll be out in a minute. I have a few things I want to look over on my desk first. Why don’t you go and enjoy the festivities, I’ll be out soon.” Thane stood up and zipped his pants back up, straightening his shirt.
Thane reached out his hand offering her assistance up. Jazmine smiled warmly at him and placed her hand in his outstretched one. Thane pulled her hand up to his lips and placed a soft kiss on the back. Releasing her hand, he headed over to the direction of his desk.
Jazmine took her cue to leave. As she walked over to the door, she looked back at him over her shoulder. He sat quietly looking over some documents. He did not look up as she opened the door and walked out.
The moment she was out of the office, the loud music and voices assaulted her ears. She was not in the mood to entertain people tonight, but she knew Thane was counting on her to play her part. Jazmine pulled herself together and walked proudly, her head held high into the social space. She was their new Queen too.
Chapter Three
Jazmine found herself walking down a dark cobblestone street in the middle of Phoenix. The night air was stale and sticky. She was hungry and needed to feed soon. It had been a few days and the pickings had been slim this week. Jazmine walked out of the alley and onto a busy street in the heart of the city. The hair on the back of her arms stood up, alerting her to danger very close by.
She was not alone. Someone or something was tracking her, and she could sense their presence now. Jazmine took a sharp right, turning down another lit alleyway packed with people. Looking around, it seemed she had stumbled upon an outdoor carnival. Jazmine took a few more turns and found herself lost in a strange part of town she had never seen before.
She had not shaken the stranger following her and she was starting to panic. She never felt unsafe no matter where she was, but something was different about tonight. Jazmine started to walk faster and found that the further she walked the darker it got outside. The street no longer lit by the light of the moon. Panic started to set in and Jazmine took off in a full out run.
She could feel sweat dripping down the back of her neck, but it wasn’t from the physical exertion. No matter how fast she went, Jazmine could feel the presence gaining distance on her. She had no idea where to turn. Jazmine turned her head around to see if she could see who was following her. When out of the darkness came a black arm looming outstretched trying to grab onto her. A blood curdling scream began to escape her lips as her eyes fluttered open, waking her up from her slumber.
Sweat dripped down her back as she sat up in bed, her breath short and rapid. Jazmine was in a full panic. The figure had never gotten this close before and Jazmine began to wonder if this was really a dream at all. She reached over and grabbed a glass of water sitting on her nightstand. Taking a long drink, her breath started to slow down and become steadier.
It was still daylight out, but she was getting no more sleep today. Instead she decided to get up and head to her favorite place, the library. She had not gotten any closer to finding out anything about her recurring dreams or why she was not able to recall a huge chunk of missing time. Yet, it didn’t deter her from trying to get the answers she was desperately seeking.
Jazmine was more sure with each passing day that Thane was hiding something from her, something important to her and she was set on finding out what it was. Also, the sense that a piece of her was missing still nagged her. She could not put a finger on it, but she felt that someone important to her was searching for her.
Jazmine stretched and got out of bed. She threw on a pair of shorts and a tank top and made her way to the library. It was eerily quiet as she walked through the hallways. She stopped in front of the massive wood doors, about to twist the knob when she heard two voices talking softly. Jazmine’s head recoiled back. She placed her ear against the door trying to make out the conversation.
Jazmine strained to hear for a few minutes, but the door was too thick to make anything out. Giving up, she decided to just walk in. She knew Thane had to be in there, but who was the other person he was talking to? Jazmine hoped to catch him by surprise to find out. Jazmine placed her hand on the handle and turned it, throwing the door open.
Jazmine looked around the room, but no one was there. For a split second she thought maybe she was hallucinating, that maybe the lack of sleep was finally getting the best of her. But deep down she knew she had heard voices and she knew Thane didn’t want her to know he was in there.
********
Night finally arrived and Jazmine was ready to feast. Tonight, Thane had planned to go out on the hunt with Jazmine. It had been a long time since they had gone out together and Jazmine wasn’t sure she was in the mood for the company, but Thane insisted. She had planned to go to a hidden club not far from their home, but Thane had another place in mind.
Jazmine had never heard of the bar they went to. When they arrived, Thane walked in and several people instantly called out his name. Jazmine walked by his side watching the spectacle unfold around them as everyone made a point to greet him. Thane was cordial, nodding and waving, sometimes stopping to whisper in someone’s ear.
They came to a corner booth at the back of the joint and Thane took a seat. Jazmine slipped in beside him. She could see why he chose his spot. From his seat, Thane had a great view of the establishment and all the people there. She also noticed a few people that seemed to be purposefully placed around him, also watching the crowd.
Jazmine listened to the music that was blaring through the sound system. There was a large crowd already gathering on the dance floor. Jazmine noticed that no waitress ever came by, which was unusual. Even though they never ate anything, they always ordered somet
hing to give the illusion that they were like everyone else there. But something was different tonight. Jazmine sensed that everyone here knew what they were and didn’t care. It was like they welcomed their kind and were not afraid.
Jazmine began to tap her fingers on the table to the beat of the music when a slight young woman approached. She smiled seductively at Thane, before her eyes glanced over to his companion; the warm smile faded once she laid eyes on Jazmine.
Thane paid no attention to her reaction, instead he patted the open seat next to him and the woman obediently slid in beside him. Thane leaned over, his lips grazing the delicate flesh of her ear as his lips moved, forming words Jazmine could not hear. The girl laughed, tilting her delicate neck back, exposing the soft white flesh. Thane took the movement as an invitation and placed his lips on the hollow spot at the base of her neck. The woman barely flinched as Thane’s incisors sank softly into the warm flesh.
He sucked and drank for a few short seconds, releasing his hold on her almost without notice. Had Jazmine not been watching the whole episode she would have never guessed anything had happened, his movements were so fluid. The girl smiled at him, two small marks in her neck were the only indication that anything had transpired.
She smiled at him as she left, not even looking at Jazmine who was still sitting there. Thane wiped the corner of his mouth as he continued to stare off into the crowd in front of him. Jazmine watched as he caught the eye of one of the men at the bar. The man nodded back to him and then leaned over to talk to the girl sitting next to him. She then proceeded to get up and walked over to their table.
Jazmine watched in shock as this dance continued all night. She still had not fed, but Thane drank his fill as woman after woman came to him. Jazmine had had enough after an hour and started to get up to leave, when Thane reached his hand out to grab her hand on the table, pinning it down.
Jazmine yanked back, trying to release his hold of her, but he held fast. “You will sit, my dear,” he stated, his expression cold. “I’m not ready to leave yet. I still need to select my prize for the night,” he smiled wickedly at her.
Jazmine could not understand what he meant. “Your prize?” she asked bewildered. “Haven’t you had several tonight already?”
“Oh no, my dear,” he retorted. “That was just an appetizer if you may call it. Now that I have sampled the feast, I can pick the ripest fruit.” Thane’s expression turned dark, almost terrifying to Jazmine. She was not sure she wanted to stay for the feast.
“You see, my dear,” he continued, “I want you to partake in tonight’s dinner with me. For so long I’ve been selfish, but tonight you will dine with me on the evening’s selection. And I’ve made my choice. She should be already for us,” Thane waved his hand to a man standing by a door she had not noticed earlier.
Jazmine sat in her seat horrified. She had no desire to take any of the lives of the women in this place. No one here deserved to die, she had not sensed anything remotely evil or bad in them. The thought of taking the life of a person who had never done anything wrong to someone else made her sick. She always made sure to never take the blood of an innocent, but Thane believed otherwise.
He believed all humans were unworthy and lower than him. He only wanted the sweetest blood, no matter how young or pure. Jazmine looked for a way to escape, anyway to get out of here. She knew she was trapped and that he had tricked her. Her head screamed and she felt like her lungs were collapsing.
Thane held her hand tight and led her out from their booth towards a door she hadn’t previously noticed. The door had an ominous feel to it and she sensed there was evil behind the rusted, metal door. She wanted to pull away to fight, but it would be futile. He was stronger than her and she would never win a physical fight against him. Jazmine followed him, her feet felt like boulders as she picked up one after the other not wanting to go into that room, afraid of what was in there.
As they approached the man stepped aside and Thane pushed the door open, almost magically. As they walked through, Jazmine looked behind her desperately hoping to catch the eye of the man to save her, but the door had vanished. It was like it was never there. Jazmine looked back in front of her and the sight in front of her made her heart sink.
There, lying naked on an altar, her hands and knees tied to the sides at four points, was the first young woman she saw approach Thane tonight. The moment the woman laid eyes on them, she screamed, struggling to break free of her chains. Jazmine watched with horror as Thane approached her, his hand outstretched, gliding over her stomach. The moment he touched her the woman recoiled, trying to escape the feel of his fingers.
Thane smiled at her, placing a single finger to her lips. “Hush, my sweet. I promise this will be all over soon,” he grinned, his white teeth looking sinister in the dark of the room. “You were so willing to let me taste you before, but now that I want more, you want to leave? Tsk, tsk,” he wagged the index finger of his other hand at her. “Now, it's my Queen’s turn to taste,” he smiled at Jazmine, really looking at her for the first time tonight, “after I’ve had my fill of course.”
Jazmine thought she might get sick at the sight of the evil smile that spread across his face. She wanted no part of this and her mind raced with a way to get out of there. She looked everywhere trying to find some door, some way that led out of the room. All she could see were black walls surrounding them. She was frantic and knew she needed to think, to do something quickly, anything...
But Jazmine could stand by motionless, watching as Thane continued to study his prey with great pleasure. She tried to picture herself anywhere but here, in this moment. She knew she could not escape, but maybe she could imagine she was somewhere else, numb herself to where she was. If she couldn’t escape physically, then she would mentally.
“Come here,” Thane commanded, his eyes still on the meal in front of him.
Jazmine imagined herself far from this place, she forced her mind to take her away to a place where she felt safe. She closed her eyes to really see the image in her mind, squeezing them as tightly as she could. Jazmine cupped her hands over her ears to drown out the sound of the woman’s screams. She concentrated on the ocean, the feel of the sun on her face, a feeling she could never have anymore.
As she lost herself deep within her own mind, she could almost feel the soft warm sand between her toes. Instead of a woman’s screams, she heard the screech of a bird soaring above. Jazmine tilted her face up towards the sky to see the bird above. She looked around and saw the ocean waves crashing in front of her, the blue-green color of the water in the distance.
She took a step forward and felt a rock underneath her bare foot. It dug into the soft pad of her heel. She was no longer in that room, instead she was engulfed in the warmth of the sea around her. Jazmine smiled to herself, she had done it. She stood still, eyes closed, silently enjoying the sounds when a voice called out her name.
“Jazmine, what the fuck have you done?!” Thane hollered, pure anger in his eyes. “I...how did we get here?” Thane looked around, no longer seeing the woman on the altar before him.
Jazmine froze, she could not explain what had happened, how she had transported them from that place. She opened her mouth to speak, but instead her head screamed RUN! She did. She ran as fast as her legs would carry her.
As she ran, the sand began to fade from beneath her feet. She looked down and she was no longer standing barefoot in the sand. Beneath her was the floor from the bar they had been in. Jazmine looked back up and saw that somehow, she had escaped from that room, and now she was back in the main part of the bar. She whirled around, the crowd of people appearing around her as they continued to writhe and grind against each other on the dance floor.
Jazmine had no idea how she had gotten out, but she did not stop running to figure it out. She kept running, until she was far away from that place. Once outside she took off down the street taking turn after turn, no longer paying attention to her surroundings or how long she had
been running. When she looked up and noticed the moonlight lighting her way, she took another turn and then one more until the light was gone, replaced by a darkness.
Jazmine slowed down. She had been here before, but when? Then it struck her, this was the same place as her dream. In that moment, she realized she was living her dream from that morning. Jazmine stopped dead in her tracks and that was when she sensed the presence. The same one from her dream. She was too terrified to turn around, fear had paralyzed her body. She knew if she looked behind her, she would see that arm reaching out to grab her, trying to take her.
Sweat dripped down her back, she needed to look, she needed to know who or what was haunting her dreams. She needed answers. Jazmine slowly turned her head to the side, twisting, straining to see the truth. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw a hand reaching out of the darkness. Her gaze forced on the hand as it came closer.
Jazmine’s eyes widened in fear as the fingers snaked out wrapping around her arm that lay frozen by her side. She could feel the fingers touch her arm, warm, gentle, almost familiar. In that moment, her fear started to fade away and was replaced by a new feeling. A sense of peace, longing, and love came over her. She no longer feared this presence, instead she longed to be enfolded by it.
Jazmine started to turn herself fully around to see this person who could incite so much love in her, when in a flash it was ripped away. Jazmine whipped her head around in the other direction when she felt a cold hand clamp down on her other arm. Pulling her from her trance. Thane stood in front of her, pure anger in his eyes. He said nothing. In a flash, she found herself back in their home. Thane still in front of her, dark vengeance in his eyes.
