The huge yard reminded Keegan of his father’s house in Port Jackson just north of Auckland. He had visited it once four years ago—the last time he saw his father—and was blown away by how beautiful it was. The mini mansion was situated right across the road from the beach and as lovely as the home was, it was nothing in comparison to the two-and-a-half-acre section it was built on. A small part of him was curious to go visit his dad again one day just to explore the maze of gardens, bush and lawns.
When Liam’s house came into view, Keegan slowed down and parked his car up outside. A sense of relief came over him to see Liam’s parents vehicles were not in the driveway.
I will get him all to myself!
Keegan slammed his car door shut and raced towards the front door, excited to lay eyes on his sexy best friend. He didn’t bother knocking and walked right in. Keegan was so focused on seeing his pal he didn’t even see Liam’s older brother Joel in the hallway ‘till he walked straight into him.
“Shit. Sorry, Joel.” Keegan took a step backwards. “I didn’t see you there.”
Joel cast him a stormy glare. “I guess that happens when you barge into peoples homes without knocking.” He rubbed his hands down the front of his white singlet that showed off his impressive arm muscles. He glanced over his shoulder towards Liam’s bedroom. “If you’re looking for my loser brother, you’ll find him tossing off in his room.” Joel pointed with his finger. “Off ya go,” he said arrogantly.
“Umm, thanks,” Keegan said, feeling uncomfortable. Joel was a slightly shorter version of Liam but more muscular. He came equipped with the Corrigan male traits that his father and younger brother both had. Dark hair, baby blue eyes and handsome faces with finely etched cheek bones. While Liam and his father were nice guys, Joel was just an arrogant prick who deserved a punch in the face, Keegan thought. He stepped around the frosty Joel and made his way towards Liam’s bedroom and tapped on the door.
“Yep,” Liam hollered back.
“It’s Keegan.”
“Come in, bro.”
Keegan opened the door and stepped inside the curtain-pulled room. Immediately his nostrils were filled with a whiff of sweaty unwashed clothes. The room was stale and in desperate need of fresh air, but Keegan didn’t mind. After all, this was Liam’s smell and he would wear it as cologne if he could.
Liam sat shirtless on the edge of his bed, wearing track pants and white socks. He hitched his eyebrows up at Keegan and smiled.
“What you up to?” Keegan asked, sitting beside him.
“Fuck all. I just finished doing my workout.” Liam pointed to the weights on the floor. It seemed he was keen to catch up with his older brother in the muscles department. He raised his arm up and flexed his bicep, giving it a small peck. “These guns are loaded and ready to fire.”
Keegan laughed. “And who will you be shooting at?”
Liam’s lip curled into a smile. “You!” He leant across, grabbed hold and tried to bury Keegan’s face into his armpit.
Keegan burst out laughing, reluctantly pushing his friend away. He rubbed his face but it didn’t wipe away his giddy smile.
“How come Joel’s here?” Keegan asked, spouting out the first thing he could think of.
“He had a fight with his flatmate or something so he’s moved back home ‘till he finds a new place.”
“True,” Keegan mumbled.
“Yeah. Hardly surprising though. The arsehole fights with everyone,” Liam said bluntly. He bent forward tugging on one of his white socks. Suddenly he lurched up, clutching his side. “Fuck that’s sore still.”
“What’s that?”
“My side. I think I pulled a muscle yesterday at training.” Liam said, rubbing his flank just above his hip.
“Ouch.”
“Yeah. It ain’t made me a cripple or nothing but it’s a bit tender.” Liam scooted backwards and rest back into his pillows, stretching his long legs down the length of the bed.
“Would you like me to kiss it better for you?” Keegan joked, secretly wishing he could kiss Liam better.
“Aww, what a sweetie,” Liam said in a half-giggle.
“That’s me… a sweetie.”
Liam gave him a cursory glance. “I bumped into Tess in town yesterday. She told me you two had split.” He stared at Keegan with a look that was hard to decipher. “Why didn’t you tell me you had broken up?”
“I haven’t really had a chance to tell you,” Keegan lied. He had purposely not said anything, hoping he could pretend to be one of the boys just a bit longer under the guise of having a girlfriend.
Liam narrowed his eyes, suspicion slipping in. “You’ve seen me nearly every day since your birthday and she said that you broke up with her after your trip away with your uncle.”
“Damon’s not my uncle,” Keegan snapped a little too abruptly, not wanting any family tie chained to the man who had taken his virginity. “And yeah. We split up when I got back.”
“Then why didn’t you say anything?”
“I didn’t want to bother you with it.”
“Keegan, I’m your best mate, you’re supposed to bother me with shit like that.”
“I guess.” Keegan felt himself blushing.
“So how come you broke up?” Liam asked.
“Lots of reasons.”
Oh, and she fucked another guy, the same guy I ended up fucking.
An awkward pause drifted in the room, forcing Keegan to elaborate “We’d been together a while and with school ending it just felt like maybe a fresh start was what we both needed.”
“That makes sense,” Liam said. “And you’re okay about it?”
“Yeah, I’m fine. I think it had been coming for a while.”
“Are you sure?” Liam frowned.
“Yes, Liam. I’m fine.” Keegan smiled at his best mate, glad for his concern.
“Good. Because if you’re not then you can tell me, you know?”
“I know.”
Liam stuck his tongue out slightly, wetting his bottom lip. “You can tell me anything. You know that right?”
Keegan’s stomach clenched. “I know I can,” he croaked in a whisper.
“And there isn’t anything else you want to tell me?”
Keegan shook his head. He began thinking the worst, wondering if Liam knew his secret. “I can’t think of anything else. Why’s that?”
“It was just something Tess said to me. That’s all.”
“What did she say?” Suddenly Keegan found himself sweating, worried what the hell Tess could have said.
Liam didn’t answer.
“Tell me what she said?” Keegan glared, waiting for an answer.
Liam tilted his head, thinking it over. “I’ll tell you if you kiss my sore spot better like you said.”
“Excuse me?”
“Kiss me better and I’ll tell you what she said.” Liam flicked his eyes down towards his hip. “You did offer.”
“Umm, and I was joking,” Keegan groaned. “I’m not kissing you. You’re all sweaty from your workout.”
“Yeah, but I don’t smell bad. Promise.” Liam circled his finger around his skin where the injury was. “One little kiss and I’ll tell you what Tess told me.”
“Don’t be a dick. Just tell me what she said.” Keegan pretended to sound more irritated than he really was, secretly wanting to kiss his friend even if it was just a quick peck above his hip.
Liam’s eyes smouldered, daring Keegan to kiss him.
Keegan swallowed a moan. “So if I kiss you better, you’ll tell me what Tess said?”
Liam nodded, smiling.
“Okay then, egg.” Keegan lay down and placed his face by Liam’s hip. He gently kissed his friend’s damp skin. “There. I kissed it better. Now tell me.”
“I don’t think you got the right spot,” Liam said tauntingly. “I think you should kiss all the way up just to make sure you get everywhere.”
Keegan felt his groin buzz with excitement at what he was
being asked to do. He knew Liam was taking the piss and having a laugh but it didn’t stop him finding the moment slightly erotic. Thankfully not erotic enough to spring a boner. “All the way up?” Keegan asked.
“Yep. From here to here,” Liam said, running his finger from his hip to just below his armpit.
“Fuck sake,” Keegan muttered, pretending to find the situation funny. He pressed his lips to Liam’s warm hip again and trailed tiny kisses up his flank, dabbing his lips along his mate’s salty skin. Fuck you taste good. Keegan went all the way up, stopping only when his cheek collided with the damp hair in Liam’s armpit. “I kissed you better—all the way up—now tell me what Tess said.”
“Well done, Andrews.” Liam smirked, looking impressed. “That was a little bit sexy. I almost wanted you to keep going.”
Keegan blushed. “Really?”
“What do you think?” Liam said, not giving away if he were being sarcastic or not.
Keegan stared back, searching beneath the surface of the moment.
Is this my chance to make a move?
Liam crossed his arms and squinted, breaking the questionable moment.
Keegan quickly spat out, “So what did Tess say?”
Liam took a deep breath like he was about to deliver earth shattering news, “Absolutely… fucking nothing.” He burst out laughing.
Keegan sat up and whacked Liam in the leg. “Then why’d ya make me kiss you like that, dick?”
Liam unfolded his arms and shrugged. “Dunno. I guess I just wanted to see if you’d do it.” He scuttled forward to the edge of the bed, planting his feet on the floor and stood up.
Keegan took advantage of his mate having his back to him. He admired Liam’s defined back muscles and firm rump that prodded the seat of his pants.
Liam walked over to a small bookcase against the far wall of his room, he grabbed his laptop that sat on the top shelf. He strolled back and sat down next to Keegan, switching the laptop on. “Okay. That whole kiss thing was just a joke, but I do have a serious request. And if you’re game enough to kiss me like you just did, then I’m hoping you’re game enough to help me with what I’m about to ask you.”
“This sounds interesting.”
“It is interesting… but it’s a little bit gay.” Liam coughed nervously.
“Gayer than what I just did?” Keegan felt his stomach drop to his toes.
Liam nodded. He typed his password into the computer to bring up an internet search page. “Fuck, bro. This is kinda shame. But remember me telling you about that website… Crashing Hearts?”
Keegan vaguely recalled Liam showing him it. It had heavy material from memory. While Keegan got off on sadistic attitudes, Liam loved porn that was sadistic in any sense and preferably to the extreme. “The one with people being tied up and whipped and shit?”
“Yeah,” Liam said in a bland tone. “But it isn’t all about that. They have a whole heap of other stuff. Amateur videos, online diaries. Mild to wild.”
“Okay. And what does that have to do with me?”
“I’ve started uploading my own videos. Talking about some of the shit I’ve done with chicks around here. Stuff like that.”
“You what? You’re online, telling people what you do and who with?”
Liam laughed. “Settle down, Captain Sensible.” He shot Keegan a warm smile. “I don’t say real names and I don’t always tell the truth.”
“So you have made an online video diary where you spout off a bunch of lies based on wet dreams you’ve had?”
“Got it in one.” Liam winked. “Fuck. If I told them the truth they’d hardly be impressed, would they?”
“I dunno. You score quite a lot.”
“Yeah, but none of the girls around here are up for anything too kinky,” Liam said bitterly. “You know what I mean.”
“True.” Keegan didn’t know what he meant.
“After I posted a few videos, I started getting messages from people. Saying they liked my stories and thought I was hot and sexy.”
Keegan nodded. Liam would get messages like that. He was sex on legs.
“So I kept them happy and started flashing my abs at the end of each video.” He tapped his stomach. “Anyway, I have moved on to posting videos of me working out. Letting them watch me do sit ups, press ups, lift weights. Shit like that.”
“And they like this?” Keegan added shock to his voice. He didn’t hold it against anyone for wanting to watch his best friend work up a sweat.
“Yeah, man. They go fucking crazy for it. But I noticed it wasn’t so much the girls getting all worked up, it was all the guys.”
“Gay guys?”
“No Keegan. Straight men,” Liam said sarcastically. “Of course gay guys, doofus.”
“Okay, and?”
“One of the features of the site is you can have premium accounts. Ones where people have to pay to view your videos.”
Keegan felt dizzy. He knew where this was going. “So you have started a premium account?”
“Sure have. Take a look.” Liam loaded up his accounts home page. The screen became filled with photos of him shirtless in a variety of workout positions. One shot in particular was especially horny, Liam sitting on a chair in nothing but a pair of tight briefs with his legs spread open wide.
Okay as soon as I get home I am signing up for this page.
Keegan flicked his eyes to the username so he could look it up later when he got home. “Your name is Kurt?”
“Yep. Kurt Knox.” Liam laughed at the name. “I thought it had a certain… quality to it.” He smiled like he was proud of himself. “What do you think?”
“Sounds sort of porn starrish, I guess.” Keegan looked across at the short bio Liam had made about himself.
Hi Everyone. My name is Kurt. I’m a kiwi guy with a wild appetite for anything to do with sex. Mild to wild. When I’m not working a shift at the fire station I like to post photos and videos here of me working out and sharing naughty stories. Check out some of my free pics and if you like what you see you can sign up for my pay to view videos and you might just sneak a peek at my 9 inch cock.
Keegan burst out laughing.
“What’s so funny?” Liam asked.
“You saying you’re a fireman with a nine-inch cock.”
“I can’t just say ‘oh I work in my mum’s bookstore’ that ain’t exactly sexy.”
Keegan looked down at Liam’s crotch. “And the nine inches?”
“Okay, I may have rounded up a bit.” Liam smirked, groping himself.
“Yeah, by four inches.”
“Piss off.” Liam nudged him. “I’m bigger than that.”
Keegan was dying to ask Liam how big exactly but that felt like crossing a line. “I’ll take your word for it.”
“Maybe it does look like nine inches though. They say the camera adds ten pounds.” Liam waggled his eyebrows.
“That they do.” Keegan grinned. “So how much money have you made so far?”
“Only fifty bucks,” Liam sighed.
“Better than nothing.”
“Yeah, but if I had hotter videos then I could charge more and make more money.”
“And you want me to help?”
“If you think you can handle it,” Liam said cautiously. “You can say no and I’ll understand but anything we make I’d go halves with you, bro. Straight down the middle.”
Keegan felt his throat constrict. “Why me?”
“You’re my best mate, aren’t you? Who else would I ask. And you’re a good-looking guy,” Liam said matter-of-factly.
“You think?”
Liam rolled his eyes. “Yes, Keegan. You’re attractive. There I said it.” He leant across and ran a hand through Keegan’s hair. “With ya cute little blond curls and those sweet, pretty brown eyes,” he said in a girly voice. “Not to mention your sexy tan.” Liam dropped his hand to Keegan’s forearm, stroking seductively with his fingers. “Your milkshake brings all the boys to the yard.”
>
Keegan laughed, flicking Liam’s hand away. “Thank you.” Liam’s compliment felt so fucking good, he almost thought he could fly home.
“So you’ll help me?”
“Yeah, why not.” Keegan rubbed his hands down the legs of his pants. He would love to do stuff with Liam even if it was pretend. He just hoped his true desires didn’t come out and expose a very real attraction. “What sort of stuff did you have in mind?”
“I will have a think about it,” Liam said. “But the more we do the more money we can make.” He hitched his eyebrows up at Keegan. “Whataya say, big boy?”
“Isn’t that you, Mr nine-inches?”
Liam looked him up and down. “I spose mine would be bigger.”
Keegan coughed. “Whatever.”
“I’m only joking, bro. For all I know you could have an anaconda in ya pants.” Liam cocked an eyebrow. “Unlikely. But I guess I’ll find out.”
“Excuse me? How far are you planning this to go?” Keegan asked, trying to sound scared at the idea of two men doing stuff together.
“Don’t get too worried. I ain’t exactly expecting us to nosh one another off and bum fuck.”
“Okay.” Keegan felt disappointed.
“Sweet, bro.” Liam nodded enthusiastically. “I guess we will both be busy doing the family thing tomorrow for Christmas but what about Boxing Day? Will you be free to come around then and help me out?”
“Yes,” Keegan answered a little too quickly. “I think so.” He would be making sure he was free come hell or high water.
Chapter Four
Matt sat down with a beer on the comfy sofa, staring around the ridiculously large lounge that felt too big for just one person. When he had bought this waterfront home for himself, Karina and her two boys, it had been as close to perfect as he could have hoped. It felt like a victory. He had grown up at the south end of town in what had then been known as poverty peak. A small collection of streets that housed former state homes where the seaside suburb’s poor were congregated.
A lot had changed since the nineties though. Poverty peak was now every bit as expensive as the rest of Port Jackson. Progress had swarmed in like a flesh-eating disease, stripping away the old weatherboard homes and their poor inhabitants, replacing them with overpriced apartments and affluent young families.
