“I never knew it could be like that between a man and a woman,” I whisper, a soft smile on my face when Seth turns to look at me.
“Me either.” Seth slides slowly out of my body, and rolling us, I find my head resting on his chest. “No one else is ever going to see you like this. Ever Paige. We’re each other’s firsts, and we’re going to be each other’s last. I know I’m sounding like an overbearing asshole, but I can’t help being possessive of you. You’ve been through more than anyone in one lifetime ever should, with me by your side. That means something. I can’t let you go.”
“I like you being possessive.” I smile against his chest and kiss a hard nipple. “I’m not as scared with you by my side. You make me feel like anything is possible as long as we’re together.” I rest my hands on his chest, my chin on them, and make sure I have his gaze. “That’s why I’m here in Boston. You need to finish school. It’s one semester. I do love Boston, or at least I used to do until I got sick. I might find that I love it again while we’re here. I’m just not hardheaded anymore and I know I want to be wherever you are.”
Seth caresses the back of my head with a hand and brings me up to reach his mouth. “I love you.” He kisses me deeply in a long, slow drugging kiss, not letting me say anything to him after his declaration.

Seth
I never knew how powerful it would be to say ‘I love you’ to the woman who holds my heart. Her features had softened even more at my declaration, but the last thing I’d wanted was for her to say the words back to me in the same moment. I want them to be her words and not prompted by me. I know she feels it toward me and one day when she’s ready, she’ll tell me. I’ve waited a long time to be with her so as I wrap my arm around her shoulders while we’re walking out of Starbucks, I admit to myself that I’d wait a lifetime if I had to.
Paige tilts her face up to mine and reaches for a kiss, which I have no trouble giving her. “You look really happy, Paige.” I brush my fingers over the smooth skin of her cheek.
“I am really happy. I’d forgotten how much I love Boston. The walk along Newbury Street and browsing in the stores, and stopping for Starbucks. Everything is so fresh and there are no crowds of people. It makes me happy, but I think that’s only because I have you with me. Everything is different with you and with how you make me feel—as though I can do anything.”
“You can do anything you put your mind to.” I squeeze her tight, kissing her forehead. “Let’s head back to the apartment. I think I want you to myself before your cousins arrive tomorrow.”
She groans. “Dylan and Jaxon are more like brothers, so they better not dump their stuff all over the apartment.” Her eyes widen as she stops walking. “Please tell me they won’t be leaving dirty clothes all over the apartment?” She shudders. “There are some things I shouldn’t have to see.”
Unable to hide my amusement, I laugh and admit, “I’ve already told them both to make sure they use their bedrooms for their shit from now on.” I wince. “Jaxon wanted to know where you planned on sleeping?”
“He did not?”
I nod, grinning.
“I hope you told him I was sleeping in your room with you. As in the same bed.” She elbows me in the stomach. “Stop laughing. It isn’t funny.”
“They are both aware that we are in a serious relationship and that you go wherever I go. So don’t worry about it.”
“I’m surprised my uncles haven’t all shown up to give the safe sex lecture.”
Groaning, I choke on the word, “What?” I pull her into our apartment building and waiting for the elevator, I wait for her answer.
“My uncles, Lucien, Michael, Sebastian, Ruben, and my fathers, all sat Rachel and I down in our living room and gave us the safe sex talk before we left for college. It was beyond embarrassing and I never want to experience that again.” She shakes her head. “They always promised to pop up with a reminder, and you never…and I mean never, want to have to put a condom on a banana with all six of them watching.”
“I can’t even imagine.” I shudder at the thought.
“Yeah, well, imagine their reaction when Rachel suddenly got the urge to tease them and asked whether they thought it best to spit or swallow while waving her condom covered banana back and forth.” Paige covers her face with her hands. “I’m embarrassed just telling you.”
Laughing isn’t the best thing to do right now, but it’s all I can do at the look on her face, and the thought of Rachel asking their fathers and uncles, spit or swallow. “What did they say?”
“There was a long pause, and then Uncle Sebastian opened his mouth to comment, but Uncle Michael slapped a hand over his mouth and said, ‘End of discussion’. Rachel and I escaped to my bedroom laughing.” Entering our apartment, she adds, “I avoided looking at our dads for a few days. I don’t think I’ve ever been so embarrassed.”
“They all love you.” I toss our jackets over the back of the sofa, take our cups with the coffee in and lead her to our bedroom, unable to resist, “I know you swallow.”
Paige shoves into me. “There’ll be none of that if you carry on teasing me.”
“You tease me all the time, Paige. It’s only fair I get to tease you.” I slap her rounded ass, my eyes lingering on her sexy rump.
“I can see that.” She raises a brow knowing exactly where my mind has just gone, not that it had ever really strayed too far from that.
“Your cousins return tomorrow, so we need to have enough sex to last us the semester.” I wiggle my brows.
“My cousins can mind their own business. No way are we just cuddling in that bed of ours.” She glares over her shoulder and then bends forward, causing the air in my lungs to get trapped at the sight before me. She doesn’t stop there and yanks her jeans and panties off, followed by the rest of her clothing.
My own clothes come off in five seconds flat and then I’m slowly stroking my erection while licking my lips at the feast in front of me. “You are so gorgeous that you make my head spin and my body lose control.” My body aches and my cock throbs with precum trickling along the hard length to pool on the tip. Watching my body’s reaction, Paige steps forward and drops to her knees.
Her fingers tickle up the back of my thighs until she has her hands on my ass, her fingers digging into the flesh. Her face is full of arousal as she looks up. Holding my gaze she asks, “Feed every inch into my mouth.”
I swallow hard feeling my climax hovering in the background, telling me I have to rush, when really I need to go slow.
Before I can move, I feel her tongue press into the slit and that alone causes my legs to tremble. “Seth,” she whispers and it’s like a soft caress over my sensitive flesh.
“I’m afraid I’m going to come all over your face.” I snap my eyes closed at the thought, trying to bring my head and common sense back into this.
“Oh dirty,” Paige groans, “but right now, I need you in my mouth.” Her tongue swirls around the bulging head, while I open my eyes and watching, panting like crazy. “I love how you lose it with me.”
With one hand I slowly guide my cock to her lips, and with the other, I caress the soft dark hair on the top of her head. My eyes never leave her face and watching my dick appear and then disappear between her soft lips starts becoming too much, and the pending release, I feel in my toes as it snakes up my legs and into my balls.
I pull my cock free, holding Paige away while I try to breathe and hold it off because when I come, I want to be deep inside of Paige.
She knows it too.
Staying on her knees she turns and spreads out over the lower part of the bed, her ass right there, her legs spread waiting for me. I don’t spend as much time as I’d like staring at her in this position because my balls ache and my cock is harder than it’s ever been.
Kneeling behind her, I lean over and kiss the base of her spine and work my way up to the nape of her neck. “You are absolutely gorgeous.” I’m so hard that I don’t need to us
e my hand to align, I just thrust into the wet warmth of Paige. Her walls are swollen with arousal and the moment I hit her cervix, she pulsates strongly, tugging my waiting release out and into her own body. She writhes, her face buried into the quilt, her hands gripping it for dear life while she moans between mumbled shouts of my name.
“Oh,” she laughs. “I feel as though I’m floating on a cloud.”
Slowly sliding free, I help her onto the bed, crawling up with her. I collapse on my side while I try and catch my breath. I capture her wondering hand as she caresses my chest, subtly dipping lower and lower toward my semi hard cock.
“I’ve gone from no sex at all, to being unable to keep my dick in my pants.”
Paige giggles. “Well, I’ve gone from no sex to unable to keep my panties on.”
“I won’t complaining about that, in fact, I wouldn’t mind if you didn’t wear any.” I wiggle my brows. “Just think, I could give you an orgasm under the table at dinner and no one would have a clue.”
“Ugh, I’ve unleashed a monster.” She rolls half on top of me, her head on my shoulder and she slings a leg over mine.
“Be careful where that knee lands.” I wince.
“I won’t harm the goods, don’t worry.” Sighing softly as she nuzzles into my neck, she asks, “Are we really doing this Seth? And are you sure you’re okay having me live with you while my cousins are here?”
I gently cup her face into my hands, rolling her onto her side so that we’re face-to-face. “We are doing this, and I don’t give a shit who we are living with as long as you’re with me. It could be your dads, Paige. It wouldn’t bother me because I’d have you in my arms and in my life.” I kiss her forehead. “We have each other.”
Paige traces my lips with a delicate fingertip before she takes one of my hands and places the palm just under her breast. “You’re in my heart Seth. I love you. I love you so much, which is why your indifference hurt as much as it did. It’s why I feel comfortable being naked with you.” Tears appear on her lashes and I find that I’m struggling to keep my own from overflowing, when she continues, “You’ve seen me at my absolute worst, and yet you still love me. You know I can never give you children, but you love me. How can I not love you Seth? I love how caring you are. I love how you look at me as though I’m the only woman you see. I love talking to you. I love how you touch me. I love how you are with my family. I love everything about you Seth Reynolds.”
Words completely escape me, so I wrap her tightly in my arms.

Paige
Sipping from my steaming mug of coffee, I watch my cousin Jaxon making scrambled eggs and toast for dinner. He’d arrived earlier with Dylan, and after a scowl for a greeting, he’d disappeared into his bedroom for a couple of hours. Jaxon is one of my more laid back cousins, so it bothers me to think that he doesn’t want me here.
He keeps giving me the side-eyes while he’s mixing the eggs. He’s of medium height, with short dark hair, and I know his smile makes the girls swoon. He has a dimple and apparently that makes him all the more cute. I don’t see it, but then again he’s my cousin, like a brother, so I guess it would be weird if I did. Rachel and Alex quickly flicker through my mind, but then I catch a hard look from Jaxon again, and I’ve had enough. “What?” I snap. “You’ve been giving me the stink eye since you arrived. Why? Don’t you want me here?” I don’t quite keep the tears out of my voice.
He turns off the heat and sets the pan to the back burner before he slowly moves over to me. “I might be younger than you, but you’re like a sister to me and it feels weird having you living here with Seth, okay. I like the guy, and he took care of you when you needed it, but it’s just damn weird.”
“I love him.” I reach for his hand and he envelopes mine gently. “I love you, too Jaxon.”
“Geez, Paige. You know how to bring a grown man to tears,” he grumbles.
So I tease as I see him struggling for control, “You’re not twenty-one yet, so still a boy.” I grin. “A boy with dimples.” I rough his hair up and get a glare in return.
He sighs and to my surprise, stands and pulls me into his arms, holding me tight. Neither of us say anything and I just cling to him as hard as he is me.
“I love you, Paige,” he admits, his voice hoarse. “I don’t think I’ve ever told you that.” He kisses the top of my head. “I hate myself for not knowing you were sick. I was here with you. I should have known something was wrong.”
I shake my head and look up at my cousin, his guilt clear as day on his face. I cup his face in my trembling hands. “Don’t you dare feel guilty for not knowing. I hid it well because I didn’t want anyone to know. If there is anyone to blame, then blame me. I’m the one who kept it a secret…and as soon as everyone knew, you were there at the hospital. I know I was pretty out of it when you came to see me, but I knew you were there. I heard you talking to me. You told me you’d get me Starbucks for a year if I got my ass out of the bed and started fighting.”
He groans. “Trust you to remember that part.” He smiles and brushes my hair back from my face. “I said other stuff too.”
“I know.” I rest my head against his chest, enjoying holding him. “I think I heard you telling me you had the hots for—”
“Do not say another word.” He glares, and I grin beneath the large hand covering my mouth.
“Oh, do tell, Paige,” Dylan drawls, smacking Jaxon upside the head. “I could use some good blackmail material on him.”
“Don’t be an ass,” I reply to Dylan while I reach up and kiss Jax on the cheek. “I love you too,” I whisper. Pulling away, I ask, “Are you making enough eggs for me because I’m hungry now too?”
“Doesn’t Seth feed you?” Jax grumbles, tossing a loaf of bread at Dylan. “You wanna eat, then you can do the toast.”
“Seth feeds me well, I’ll have you know.” I sigh. “He’s got a meeting with his adviser and said it could last a while.”
I glance at Jax. “We okay?”
Dylan frowns looking between us both.
“More than okay.”
“I still want to know who Jaxon has his eye on.”
“I can’t remember,” I admit. “Although, if I heard her name then it might come back to me.”
“Do you want some eggs or not?” Jaxon glares.
Grinning, I reply, “Yes, I want eggs, so I promise to have permanent amnesia on the topic.”
“You better,” he grumbles, shoving a plate of eggs and buttered toast in front of me.
Dylan eats quietly, deep in thought before he lets out a loud sigh. “I can’t think of anyone. You always have your head buried in the books, or you’re on the ice.”
Jaxon smirks. “I know.” He turns to me. “Is Seth bringing you to practice tomorrow?”
“He is, and I remember the ice bunnies, so don’t worry. I’m prepared.” I eat more of my meal, wondering if I really am ready for them. The girls who hang around the ice rink can be vicious with their words when you throw a kink in their plans. Seth and my cousins have always been favorites with the girls, along with most of the team if I’m honest.
“Don’t worry about them.” Dylan cleans his plate off with the last of his toast. “We’ll be there too, so you’ll be fine.” He smirks. “In fact, we’ll make sure you are.”
I raise a brow and look between my cousins. “Why does that make me nervous?”
“I have no idea,” Dylan drawls moving to the sink, so I glare at Jaxon who grins.
“Oh, I forgot to tell you both,” Dylan adds, “Mom and Dad are going to be in town in a few days, so we’re all going out to dinner. Mom is desperate to spend time with Seth.” He shudders. “Do not take her on when she starts interrogating you about my life.”
“Why would she want to interr—oh!” I grin so wide that I start laughing. “She wants all the details on your love life, huh?” I frown. “Well, I haven’t lived with you long enough to know anything about it, so I think you’re safe this time a
round. Next time though—” I let my words hang, adding, “I bet Jaxon and Seth know all about it.”
“Hey, there’s a man code in this apartment, and that applies to you now too, since you’re living here,” Dylan grouches. “There are consequences to breaking it too!” He snaps his fingers in front of my face, laughing.
“What am I missing,” Seth asks tossing his bag on the sofa while kicking the door closed.
I itch to throw myself into his arms, but instead I wait and smile when he dips his head to kiss me. “It’s nice coming home and having you here,” he admits.
Jaxon and Dylan start mimicking us making loud kissing noises, until Jaxon shoves Dylan away. “I prefer blondes.”
Laughing, Dylan kisses Seth on the cheek in a loud noise before backing toward his bedroom. “Oh and Jaxon, blonde, huh?”
Jaxon tosses a plastic beaker in response, which misses Dylan and slams into the bedroom door.
“Geez, children.” I chuckle.
I glance toward Jaxon and notice the frown currently on his face while he cleans up his mess in the kitchen. I don’t think I’ve ever seen my cousin so glum before. Whatever is bothering him is more than his usual teasing can cover up.
“Hey,” Seth whispers into my ear. “I think now is a good time to sneak into the bedroom.”
Smiling softly, I cup his jaw. “You need something to eat first.”
“Don’t worry about me. The Prof had sandwiches and cakes left over from an earlier meeting so I helped myself.” He grins. “I also have a cake in my bag.” He kisses me on the nose and retrieves a plastic tub from his bag.
He snags my hand as he walks past and takes me into the bedroom.
“How am I going to eat the cake without a fork?” I take the container from his hands and peel back the lid.
Seth moves in behind me. “I was planning on using my fingers to spread the cream and sponge over your nipples, and lower...” He nibbles on my earlobe. “Mix the cream on the cake with the cream between your legs.”
