“I want to stay like this for the rest of my life,” I mumble into her neck. “I seriously can’t move.”
She giggles, biting my earlobe. “I love having you just where you are.” Her channel tightens, shooting pleasure along my hardening flesh. “It feels so good when I feel the long slide of you.”
“Oh woman, you’re driving me crazy.” I nuzzle into her neck and grabbing her butt in my hands, I roll us to the side, managing to stay joined. “Are you really okay?”
She smiles softly. “I know I worried everyone tonight, but I seriously just got a chill with the biting wind.” Her lips brush over mine. “The shivers left me the moment your sweatshirt and your scent surrounded me.”
Our bodies might be talking to each other, but right now there are more words for me to say. Resting my forehead against Paige’s, I say, “I meant everything I said to Amanda. I don’t want anything to do with my family. Maybe I will in the future, but right now, I want to concentrate on us. I also want to move back to Lexington so that your family is around us. You need that, and I want you to be happy.” I press my lips briefly to hers when she opens her mouth to speak. “You being happy makes me happy, Paige. I can’t explain it. It’s just there. We were meant to be together right from the first moment we met, and as soon as I graduate…I would be honored if you’d be my wife.”
Tears leak from her eyes and I know this puck has found his princess.
