Tomas and Adam brought the books of the bibliography together with the frescos. Our notes were already on the desk.
Sam, with profound look, asked our attention. She had something to reveal. Tomas and she found something interesting, as she had told me, which apparently led them to a new discovery.
“Genesis 3:15: ‘And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel’. The snake which, as we all know, it was not a snake but an angel; Lucifer, according to the official version. He accepts, as punishment for his act to fool Eve, hostility between him and the woman, between his descendant and the woman’s descendants. If this woman was Eve, why isn’t her mane mentioned? If the word woman refers to all the females, why are there women today, who worship him? Besides, for a punishment to have an importance, it must deprive the chastened of what he wants or of what belongs to him. Otherwise, it is not a punishment. Therefore, Lucifer either wanted Eve or she already belonged to him; something that does not apply. Unless, it does not refer to Eve but to the unidentified woman of the scripts and the frescoes.’
“This led us to the conclusion that the original First female had a relationship with him, so close that God, in order to punish him, he kept her away from him. That way, his punishment would be even more significant, proportional to his action. The question is what exactly their relationship was”.
She looked at us with satisfaction for their really important discovery. All the pieces fit together and Genesis’ scripts made sense. The relationship between the unknown woman and the fallen angel was a reality with proofs. I wondered if I ought to say all I knew about the story.
Adam talked before me.
“Besides a love affair, I cannot imagine any other. What if these two fell in love unexpectedly? This was rather out of plan, since god had created the unidentified woman along with Adam, as his partner. However, love between them did not occur. This was something that their creator had not thought about. Not even that one of his angels would fall in love with a human. I suppose, this was destroying the harmony and the balance. All creations are made in couples and they remain as such. The same should have applied for the humans. However, two different kinds, a human and an angel, are involved in a passionate relationship”.
I turned suddenly and looked at Camen.
Here is a story that repeats itself, carrying us away to the prohibited love between angels and humans. At that moment, the law seemed to be hanging over our heads, ancient and unforgiving…
Dear reader, thank you for downloading my story. “Word-of-mouth” is crucial for any author to succeed. If you enjoyed the book, please leave a review on Amazon. Even if it’s just a sentence or two, it would make the difference and would be very much appreciated!
