  “Within your heart of hearts there is a pure light gifted to you by God. Devote yourself to that light with the innocence and unconditional love of a child. Serve the source of that light with strength, courage and wisdom, with every moment of every breath. That is the path. Are you ready?”

  “It’s simple,” Gutter Dice added, “Think of it as a three step program where you do all three steps simultaneously: One – Love yourself. Two – Be present and aware. Three – Manifest positive energy. Every blessing you put out into the world comes back to you ten-fold.

  “Once you know the path, ain’t no good reason to deny yourself the incredible awesomeness. And if you ever feel blocked, see it for what it is and if need be, push on into the darkness, all the way through and out the other side into the light. No fear. All the way.

  “We got you, God. Trust,” he touched his chest over his heart chakra. “He got you.” He pointed up at the sky to indicate what lay beyond it and indeed the entire cosmos.

  “Hey check it out,” the indigo furred ape spoke up, stubbing out the roach between the thumb and middle finger of his left paw. “The eclipse is about to start.”

  Efe Tokunbo Okogu is a Nigerian writer who was born in the UK on Dia de los Muertos. He now lives in Mexico where he is developing various projects in the areas of holistic health, body-mind activation, spiritual science studies, and multi-disciplinary artistic expression. His words have been heard live and published in digital and print form. His novelette, Proposition 23 was nominated for the 2013 British Science Fiction Association awards, translated into Italian, studied at various universities, and is available online.
