Being chief was hard, you constantly had people coming up to you, telling you what to do, or what they needed, and how they looked to you to make things right. He was in a constant worry, about the people, about his performance of his duty. It was exhausting, and he feared his perfect hair will gray and shrivel away.
He does not have the bone structure to be bald.
He kept his head down as he trudged through the snow, that was quickly starting to coat the ground, cursing at himself for even wanting to go out and witness it fall in the first place, that by the time he got into his house, he worked himself in such a frenzy that he didn’t realize that he wasn’t alone.
“I realized something.”
Tyronian cursed, his hand flying to long knife he kept strap to his person in an instant. He faltered when he saw Namoriee there, looking as beautiful as ever in a soft blue gown, her hair that was longer than he remembered, tumbling around her in soft waves that had his fingers itching to bury themselves in.
He didn’t say anything right away, too shocked to see her in front of him. She looked down, biting the bottom lip that he loved to taste and fidgeted, showing her nerves. He snapped out of his daze, shaking his head. He looked down, waited a beat, and then looked back up. Seeing her still there, he realized that he wasn’t in face seeing a hallucination his heart conjured up, and that his wife was actually standing in front of him
“What’s that?” he asked, breathier than he would have liked. She didn’t look back up at him right away, which was fine, because it gave him more time to stare at her without her knowing.
He couldn’t believe that she was here.
“I thought I have been alone for pretty much my entire life,” Namoriee started, her voice soft and hesitant. “I always relied on myself for survival, because that’s all I had.” She took in a deep breath, and then tilted her head up, looking straight at him.
His breath was knocked out of him from that look alone.
“But then I would think back, and I realized that you were always there. For every big moment in my life, you were there in some kind of fashion. I know now that it was you who looked after me.”
He didn’t try to deny it. She smiled.
“You were the one who made Aggod take me in. That day in the woods was the day you made her make me her apprentice, and my punishments stopped, and likewise, Kissia stopped tormenting me.”
She took a step forward, closer to him, her voice gaining more strength as she spoke.
“I didn’t know why Xavier made me Leawyn’s handmaiden. There were plenty of other women that he could have chosen, but he picked me. Because of you.”
She wasn’t asking him, but he nodded anyways. His heart was pounding when she kept stepping toward him, his breathing growing unsteady.
“You cut off a man’s head because he attacked me. You made sure that I didn’t suffer, but you let me make my own mistakes. You let me grow into a woman before you claimed me.”
She was practically upon him now, and he savored her sweet scent when she was close enough. He shuddered when her hands landed on her forearms, all tentative like. He released the breath he wasn’t aware he was holding when she brought his arms up, until they rested on her hips. His fingers twitched, wanting to grab on and not let her go.
She closed her eyes for a moment, as if she was savoring the same thing he was; their closeness. Her breath was shaky, and he was momentarily started to see the tears in her eyes when she raised them to meet his own.
“I’ve never had much, I never did. But with you?” A tear slipped past her eyelashes and trailed down her cheek. “I have everything.”
Her bottom lip trembled, and her eyes were big, and bright, and glossy. But even with these minor imperfections, she managed to make his heart skip a beat. She was trembling just as much as he was, and he didn’t want to break the silence, too afraid, too hopeful of what this might mean.
“I’m so sorry I doubted you,” she said, her voice cracking. “I’m sorry that I let you walk out of our door. I’m sorry that I acted like a spoiled child, and I’m sorry I blamed you for my flaws. I’m not worthy of you, I never was, but I’m too selfish, and I feel in love with you despite all that. I’m just sorry I couldn’t admit it when you needed to hear it most.”
She sucked in a breath, her hands hovering above his cheek like she was afraid he would shy away from her touch. She couldn’t have been more wrong. He reached up and brought her hand to rest against his cheek, and they both exhaled in relief at the contact.
“You’re wrong,” he rumbled quietly, his voice hoarser and deeper from emotion, “about being unworthy of me.”
He tipped her chin with the crook of his finger, his lips suspended over hers.
“You’re the only thing in this life that is. I love you Namoriee. But if you want to leave, this is your chance. Because I’m never letting you go again.”
“You never should have let me go to begin with. I was miserable without you. You’re stuck with me forever.”
She barely finished her sentence before his lips were descending on hers. He wrapped his arms around her waist, hauling her up against his body as he kissed her for all he was worth. Her lips were the water to his parched mouth, a desert traveler on the brink of death until the elixir of her love saved him.
They pulled back only when breathing became absolutely necessary, and even then, they couldn’t stop their lips meeting for frantic pecks.
“I love you.”
She smiled, the most beautiful, heartfelt smile that he felt her love deep in his bones.
“Whether you like it, or not,” she vowed.
He couldn’t help but grin and return the sentiment.
“Whether you like it, or not.”
Namoriee groaned, covering her face with her hands.
“How many times do I need to tell you?” She sat up, glaring at her best friend. “I don’t want to know about you and your husband’s sex life! It’s already traumatizing enough that I walked in on you two last night! Again!”
Leawyn exploded into a round of high-pitched cackles, somehow managing not to wake up her sleeping sons, who seemed to be not inherited their father’s light sleeping habit.
“I’m telling you! It’s not nearly as horrible as you think it is. Sure, Xavier had to train me to the idea of it, but now I look forward to having him take me there as much as I do anywhere else.”
“Leawyn!” Namoriee shouted, horrified. She managed to duck against the piece of fruit she threw at her, which caused her to just cackle louder.
“Fine, fine,” Leawyn said, raising her hands in surrender. “But don’t tell you I didn’t warn you. You don’t know what you’re missing.”
Namoriee made a noncommittal humming sound, but she was internally smirking with smugness. Because contrary to what Leawyn believes, she knew exactly what she wasn’t missing, as Tyronian had already taken her last firsts the night they “made up”. She shivered, remembering the way his tongue had felt when he licked the forbidden opening, getting it nice and wet and ready for his cock. It had hurt, the feeling both equally foreign as it was painful. But he had taken it slow, pushing inch by inch into her puckered hole until he was resting entirely inside of her.
The feeling was indescribable, and it made Namoriee burn hot with shame for enjoying the act she considers forbidden as much as she does. But she did. She loved it when her husband takes all her holes, and she couldn’t wait for him to steal any of the other firsts he decides are worthy of him.
Speaking of her husband…
“When do you think they’ll be back?” she asked Leawyn.
“Should be any time now. Xavier told me that there was no delay, and that the negotiations were already finalized.”
Tyronian had decided not to remain chief of the Sicares after all, and instead returned to the Izayges. He was worried about how his sister-tribe would take his news, but they hadn’t reacted as badly as he thought they would. The only matter of debate of who
would take his place, to which they decided to appoint by popular vote within the tribe.
She shouldn’t have been surprised that it was Torrick, but she was. Something that he refuses to let her live down.
Torrick and Tyronian had buried their differences, and Namoriee learned that the reason why they didn’t get along was from a conversation they had years ago when Torrick accused Tyronian from beating her, when it was really Cantos. She was also surprised to learn that another factor of why Torrick didn’t like Tyronian, was because he felt his heart wasn’t with Sicares best interest, when he was expected to be chief.
He was right, of course, which is another thing he doesn’t Tyronian live down.
All in all, Namoriee was happy. She gets to stay in the tribe she grew up in, surrounded by her friends and the man she loved without the worry of a certain someone trying to sabotage their happiness.
After Namoriee made her amendments with Tyronian, she told him in great detail about the conversation she had with Samanthia. It turned out that the reason that Kisias fell ill so suddenly, and passed away just as fast, was because Samanthia had poisoned him, in order for Tyronian to be chief. In her deranged mind, she thought that they would be together.
Xavier decided that it would be best that the Sicares dealt her punishment, as her grievance was stemmed towards them.
She didn’t ask Tyronian what happened to her, as she had a very good guess to say that she did not live to see another sunrise.
Someone was kissing her.
Namoriee eyes flew open, her mouth dropping in a silent scream when Tyronian ducked down and licked her straight up the center of her cleft.
“Oh!” she moaned, fisting his long locks as he moved his tongue up and down her slit, flicking her sensitive point of nerves every so often, with just enough pressure to make her crave for more. He hummed his encouragement against her, sending delicious vibrations through her.
It wasn’t long before she was clutching his hand to her, her hips flying up to meet his mouth as came on a short scream. Their movements were rushed when their lips met each other, tasting her release on his tongue as they shed out of their clothes until he fell back, pulling her so that she straddled him, her hips moving desperately against him.
“I missed you,” she gasped against his lips, as she impaled herself on him.
“I missed you too. I can’t stand to be without you. But I must admit, if this is the type of attention I get upon my return, I might have to leave more often.” He slapped her ass, hard, making her shriek as he grinned cheekily at her.
“You start to leave me, and I’ll have to break my promise and start to take care of myself.”
Ever since he caught her touching herself, he had forbidden her from doing it unless he was there to watch. Which he has done many times, yet he could only manage to watch her for a little while before he lost control and took her.
“Don’t you dare,” he growled at her, leaning up to nip her ear.
“Did you hear that Tristan is back?” he managed to ask her, before he groaned, his neck arching back when she slammed her hips down, grinding against him so that she touched that special spot she knew drove him crazy.
“He is?”
“Yup, and he’s not alone. He brought a woman with him, tied up like she was his prisoner. He’s keeping her in his hut. I’ve never seen Leawyn so furious.”
“That’s horrible!” She shuddered when he reached between them, flicking her clitoris with his thumb.
“Not that this conversation isn’t stimulating,” she gasped. “But do you think we can save the talking until after you made me come again?”
His hand clasped against her hip, a moment later and their positions were reversed with him on top. He pulled back, flipped her over until she was pushed flat on her stomach. She shivered she heard him spit onto his palm, knowing that he was rubbing his saliva on the tip of his cock. He spread her cheeks apart, and she moaned when the slippery, broad head started to press into her anus.
“You dirty girl,” he rasped, dragging his teeth down her neck.
“Only for you.”
He chuckled, and her back zinged with the pleasure/pain when he bottomed out, completely inside of her. It didn’t take much longer after that, the new form of lovemaking making their reactions of pleasure more intense. He came inside of her with a long groan when she was still coming down from her own powerful climax.
He pulled out of her, and collapsed beside her, gathering her in his arms and holding her close.
“You know, if you’re wanting me to be with child, you’re going to have to start coming in the other hole,” she teased.
“We have time. Besides,” he added wryly. “I don’t know if I can deal with Xillik, the twins and our son. That’s terrifying just to think about.”
Namoriee propped herself on one elbow, looking at him with a haughty look. “How do you know it will be a son? What if it’s a girl?”
Tyronian groaned, pulling her so that she rested half on top of him. He shuddered in horror.
“We can’t have a girl, my sweet. I’d end up killing someone. Stick with boys.”
“I don’t think that’s how it works,” she laughed.
“Let’s not talk about this. I have something else I’d much rather talk about.”
“Oh yeah?” she asked, smiling. “Like what?”
He pulled the sheet off her, rolling on top of her again.
“Like how soon we can have reunion sex again. It’s quickly becoming my favorite.”
He started to trail kisses down her body, and he soon found out that it didn’t take long at all.

Lucky him.

THE END.
One year later.
She was pregnant.
There was no way of knowing for sure until she missed her moon cycle, but it wasn’t just the obvious signs that brought her to this fact; it was the knowing sense that her body was no longer her own. A deep-rooted feeling that only women could have.
She was going to be a mother. A plethora of emotions coursed through her.
She was shocked.
She was happy.
She was terrified.
Tears filled her eyes, her hands going to her still-flat stomach. Gods. She was only nineteen summers! How was she supposed to be a mother to a babe when she still felt like a kid herself?
Leawyn was younger than you when she learned she was pregnant, her mind supplied.
Yes, but she was not Leawyn. Leawyn was made to be a mother. She was the most kind-hearted person she had ever met— nurturing people wasn’t even a second thought to her.
“There you are!” Tyronian said from behind her, making her jump. She hadn’t even heard him come in.
“I’ve been looking everywhere for you,” he said, reaching her right as she turned to meet him. She opened her mouth to respond, but before she could, he pulled her to him and kissing her senseless.
She whimpered, wrapping her arms around his neck in a hug when he swathed his arms around her and lifted her off her feet. His beard scraped against her chin, his tongue wet and hot as it slid against hers.
She loved kissing him.
She loved him.
It shamed her to this day when she thought about how horrible she had been to him as a wife the first year of their marriage. He was kind, and patient, and had always treated her like she was his greatest treasure.
She had been a fool to treat him the way she did. To think that she once wished that she hadn’t been arranged to marry him…it made her hate herself.
“I missed you,” he rasped once their lips pried apart.
She smiled. His scruff was coarse and it tickled her palms when she cupped his cheeks. “And I you, my husband. I’m glad you returned safely. I was worried.”
“I told you not to be.”
Tyronain had been away to aid the Rhox-Izayges village upon their request. It had seemed that some pirates had tried to ta
ke over the shipping port to make it their own. He had ensured her before he left a week and a half ago that their defeat would come easy and that she had no reason to be concerned.
It was foolish, really. She’ll always worry about him whenever he’s away.
She couldn’t stand the thought of ever living this life without him.
“I’ll always worry about you,” she said, voicing her thoughts. “You know that.”
“So, I do. Selfishly, I can’t help but enjoy your worry.” His gaze became mischievous. “Especially when you gift me with such a wonderful welcome upon my return,” he said, waggling his eyebrows.
She laughed. “Well, I did miss you.” She leaned in, kissing his lips first before trailing down to the column of his throat. Her hands slid down his body until it gripped the bulge that started to grow within his breeches. “Especially this part of you and what it provides me.”
Tyronian’s groan was pure torture. “I wish he could provide for you now, but Xavier is expecting me.”
“But you just came back!”
“I know, that bastard,” he muttered bitterly, stealing another kiss from her. “But I cannot keep him waiting,” he sighed, setting her back on her feet. “He was in a foul mood upon my return.”
“Why?”
He shrugged. “Who knows with him.”
Another true statement. Xavier was the scariest man Namoriee had ever met. The only time he seemed remotely happy was when he was with Leawyn and their sons.
“Don’t even think about leaving. I want you naked and ready for me upon my return. I have big plans for you.”
His words made her insides quiver with arousal and made her body respond accordingly; her nipples puckered, poking teasingly against the fabric of her dress and her thighs clenched against the wetness that started to gather from her core.
