CHAPTER 12

Jayna was resting her head on Ethan’s shoulder, in absolute euphoria. Ethan kissed the top of her head and hugged her closer.

I never made love with anyone, Ethan; so I have nothing to compare this experience to, but I know that what we shared was pure magic.

  Yes, it was.

  What just happened?

We were fused together; first our minds then our souls. We’ve become parts of a whole.

That’s exactly how I felt. What do you think it means?

It means we’ve become soul mates - partners forever as man and woman.

  Jayna sighed deeply……soul mates…..partners forever.

To say that I am overwhelmed doesn’t even come close to how I feel. Why were we thrown together this way? I don’t know the answer to that, but I do know there is a reason for it. You told me to trust my intuition. I am doing that now. There is something that we have to accomplish, though I have no idea what it is, only that it’s very important and it scares me. I am not sure how I will measure up to what’s expected of me.

We are never alone in this path. We are supported in every possible way, every step of the way. You wouldn’t have been chosen for something you could not do.

Easy for you to say, you’ve been a part of all this since you were born.

Hey, I am not the one who’s a direct descendant of an Ascended Master. You’ve been chosen since before your birth.

  You think so?

  I know so.

Jayna rose from the cave’s floor and remembered she was stark naked. The only thing she was wearing was jewelry, but she wasn’t shy about it anymore. Earlier she had wished for sophistication, now she had it in spades. She held her hand to Ethan and to her surprise he was elevated from the ground.

“This is new,” Jayna exclaimed using her voice. “I’ve never done this before.”

Ethan held out his hands and lifted Jayna up without touching her. “I guess this is part of the upgrade we got tonight.”

He brought her close to an embrace. Jayna looked into his eyes, I love you.

  I love you, too.

They kissed passionately and the cave lit up with the sparks.

“Do you happen to know if there is a waterfall in this cave somewhere?” Jayna smiled lazily. “I have this urge to shower under a waterfall.”

“Funny you should ask, there is one just a few chambers away from here. I’ll take you.”

Jayna help up her hand, “Wait, I’ll put something on first in case we run into somebody.”

  Ethan shrugged. “Sure.”

Jayna contemplated for a moment. Ethan laughed. “Go ahead; do it.”

In the next instant Jayna was dressed in a Hawaiian-print skirt and matching bra, complete with a lei around her neck.

  “Is this over the top?”

Ethan shook his head, “No. Whatever makes you happy, babe.”

“Thanks. Aren’t you going to wear something?”

Ethan was instantly dressed in walking shorts and a Hawaiian shirt. Jayna shook her hips, “Awesome. We match.”

They held hands and relocated to the waterfall. Jayna ran and stood under the falling water, let it run over her head for a long time and showered to her heart’s content. Suddenly a beautiful, young maiden appeared. Jayna came closer.

“Hello,” said the maiden and bowed Astral style.

Jayna and Ethan returned her bow, but they both wondered who she was. Even Ethan had never met her before.

“I came to thank you,” she said “for saving Pavlina’s life.”

“You’re welcome,” Jayna answered. “Are you a relative of Pavlina’s?”

“I was, and I will be once again.”

Jayna froze in her tracks. Ethan, is this who I think it is?

The maiden smiled and bowed again. Obviously, she could hear Jayna’s thoughts.

Oh my God. I am talking to Pavlina’s baby! “But, you don’t look like baby,” Jayna protested out loud.

“Because I am not born yet; but I am looking forward to my life with you and Pavlina again.”

Jayna’s heart skipped a beat. “Again?” She asked holding her breath.

“We shared other lifetimes together.” The maiden explained.

“Ethan, do you know anything about this?”

“No, not really, but I am all ears.” Ethan put his arm around Jayna in a protective way and pulled her closer.

“We made a pact to incarnate together,” the young woman explained. “I know this, because I am unborn to a physical form and have access to those memories,” she smiled. “Memories are erased upon birth, as you can attest to that. I will join you soon.”

“You mean, like in about eight months?” Jayna asked.

“Yes; when I incarnate on Earth.”

“Could you tell us something about those past lives we had together, please?” Jayna begged and looked at Ethan hopefully. “Would that be allowed?”

  Ethan shrugged.

“Our last incarnation was in Ancient Egypt.” The beautiful maiden said.

“Oh my gosh!” Jayna exclaimed. “Is that why I am so into ancient Egypt?” She looked at Ethan for confirmation.

“This is kind of weird; I’ve always had a thing for ancient Egypt, too.” Ethan confessed.

“Can you tell us anything about that lifetime?”

“It was our last incarnation on Earth. The two of you were lovers.” Jayna gasped with excitement and looked at Ethan.

“You shouldn’t be surprised. You always have a way of finding each other, even when great forces try to keep you apart.”

“What? Who tried to keep us apart?”

“The evil ones. Each of you is powerful in your own way, but together you are a force to be reckoned with. They did everything they can to keep you away from one another.”

  “What happened?”

“It was a time of great unrest, the golden era of Egypt was coming to an end. We were sisters, the three of us – daughters of a high priest. We all helped out at the temple. Your mate came from a powerful family. He saw you at the temple one day. It was love at first sight. He asked our father for your hand in marriage. We started wedding preparations immediately. Alas, not everyone wanted a union between two powerful families. Someone put poison in the wine and killed many people at your wedding. You were one of the victims; your new husband could not stand the heartache of losing you. He took his own life. Our father had had enough treachery. He took us and moved away from the court. He wanted to keep the rest of his family safe, but it wasn’t meant to be. We were followed and killed in the desert. In death, we became stronger. We found a temple and honed our skills from that life,” the beautiful maiden smiled. “It is time now; my turn to join you on Earth.”

Even Ethan was incredulous at the story told by this stranger, yet not a stranger at all.

“This is such a sad story,” Jayna said. “I am sorry I asked.”

“Don’t be sorry. You were killed, but never separated from your beloved. He quickly joined you and we followed. You were together for millennia before you chose to be born again on to the Earth plane. You gained even more power while here. You found each other again, in this lifetime. I am so happy for you. Look at what you are doing together? You fight demons. Such power is a rare gift.”

“What happened to our father? Is he reborn?”

“No; it isn’t his time yet. He’s evolved, become very powerful. I am very proud of him.”

She smiled. “I can’t stay too long. I have to get back to the temple, but soon I will join you on Earth. You can tell Pavlina when she wakes up.”

A light shone on the beautiful maiden, intensified and then she vanished.

Jayna wrapped her arms around Ethan and hugged him fiercely. “I don’t ever want to be separated from you again; ever.”

Ethan kissed her hair and inhaled her scent. “Never! We’ll never be separated. I promise.”

“Will I ever be allowed to see you on Earth?” Jayna asked sa
dly.

“I don’t know, love. I cannot answer that question, but we’ll be together every night.”
