Taken by an Alien Shifter: A sci-fi alien romance (Scouts of Somtach Book 2) Page 9

by Pascia Thrall

“We were interrupted before.” He presses his forehead against mine, but this time his gaze holds mine. “Did you mean what you said about our intimacy?”

A heat pools in my belly at the memory of our last time together. I nod. “It was incredible.”

“I hope you feel the same way while I’m in this form.”

  “Can I see you?”

Daezoth nods and takes a step back, slowly peeling off the red uniform he wears.

His skin is golden everywhere, and there isn’t a hair to be seen on his body, not even around his particularly large cock.

My cleft clenches at the sight of it, and heat pools in my groin.

  I lick my lips.

  “May I?”

Daezoth frowns in confusion, and I drop to my knees before him. “You pleasured me, back on your ship. Now I would like to pleasure you in the same way.”

His eyes widen, and he nods. “I would love that.” His voice is husky, and the sounds of it sends a shiver down my spine. I reach out to take his cock in my hand and it pulses under my touch. I stroke it a couple of times then lay a trail of kisses along the shaft, and circle the head with my tongue.

“Chayya.” He speaks through a groan, making my clit tingle. I run my tongue up and down either side of his cock, and then wrap my mouth around the tip.

It’s huge, there’s no way I’m going to be able to take even half of him in, but he moans in pleasure just the same, and runs his fingers through my hair. It spurs me on, and I open my mouth as wide as I can, to take in as much as I can, and I bob up and down his shaft several times, circling and sucking with my tongue.

“Oh, Chayya.” He gasps. “Wait. Stop.”

I do, and he sinks to the bed, panting. “If you continue, I will ejaculate before we have had a chance to finish, and I would rather ejaculate inside you.”

Inside me? My initial instinct is to suggest that is not a good idea, but then what are the chances of a human and an alien being able to breed? And even if I did fall pregnant I’m going to a place where there will be family, and friends, and people, all of them much like the child I would inevitably give birth to.

I stretch up to kiss Daezoth on the mouth, pulling at my tunic as I do.

I’m so wet already, but even so he insists on laying me on the bed and kneeling between my legs.

His tongue presses against my clit, causing my whole body to jolt. He peers up at me from between my legs, and I can see the wicked smirk in his eyes. I hold his gaze as he reduces the pressure, and then begins to ever so lightly circle my sensitive nub.

I can’t hold his gaze for long, my eyes roll back inside my head as he flicks at my clit, my body losing all control. He withdraws, only to spread his tongue across my cleft and lick from the base to the clit, and back again, then teases me back rubbing my clit with his thumb as he delves deep inside me.

“Oh my god.” My hips move of their own accord as heat and electricity spiral inside me, and my legs spread wider to invite him deeper.

“Daezoth.” His name comes out as a moan as an orgasm tears through my body and fireworks explode in my head. “Oh, Daezoth.”

I reach down to brush my fingers through his hair, only to feel the smooth skin of his scalp beneath my fingers. “Please, Daezoth. I need to feel you inside me, now. Please.”

I feel the grin before I see it, Daezoth moving his way up my body, kissing and caressing every inch of skin, taking my nipples in his mouth and flicking them with his tongue.

I almost orgasm again from the sheer electricity of his touch.

“Are you ready?” His mouth is close to my ear, his breath tickling my neck, his voice husky.

“Desperate.” I murmur back, as I feel the head of his cock press against my folds. “Take me, fuck me, please.”

He holds my gaze, his eyes widening as he gently eases into me.

I gasp at the sensation, as Daezoth begins to gently thrust his hips, his cock easing deeper inside me. He’s so thick, and I knew it, but I still never expected to feel so full as I do right now.

I wrap my hand around his neck, and pull his face closer to mine.

“That feels amazing,” I whisper, gasping in pleasure as his thrusts increase in speed.

“I’m glad.” His words are barely audible through his grunting, and he arches his neck to wrap his mouth around my left nipple, the urgent sucking sensation enough to send that spiralling heat zooming through my body again.

“Daezoth.” I moan as I come again, and in moments his eyes are rolling back in his head as he comes, too, sinking down to cover my body with his.

“You are so beautiful,” he says, leaving kisses all over my face. “So, so beautiful.”

He rolls so he is laying on his side beside me, and I snuggle into his embrace. “I’m so lucky to have found you, Daezoth. You’re saving me from a miserable life, and an almost certain early death. And what’s more, you’ve shown me what true love really looks like.”

He smiles as he nuzzles into my cheek.

“I feel the same for you, you know. I was apprehensive about my time on Earth, and yet your existence has meant that I am to be returned to my family, with the love of my life by my side. I don’t think my life could improve any further.”

We snuggle in silence for a while, and my mind drifts back to the first evening we spent together, in someone else’s house in town.

  “What’s so special about Somtach?”

Daezoth had dismissed my question. “It’s nothing, really. The only place I remember being taught about, in my training.”

  “Your training?”

He frowns. “Yes. Uh. My schooling.”

  “Is English your second language?”

My eyes widen at the memory, and I can’t help but snort.

“Are you all right?” Daezoth lifts his head to look at me.

I give him a smile. “I am. I was just remembering one of our first conversations, when you pointed out Somtach to me. It seemed so strange that you would know the name of some obscure planet, light years away from us, and not any of the usual constellations we’re taught.”

He raises a brow. “It was foolish of me to mention it, but I just missed home so much. It was nice to be able to talk about it with someone, even if I couldn’t say exactly what I wanted to.”

“And after that, I asked you if English was your second language.” I lift a finger to stroke the curve of his face. “But I dare say you know a few more than just two languages.”

Daezoth laughs. “Yes. I have immediate access to approximately seven million other languages. Though I can’t really ‘speak’ them until I’ve first heard them spoken.”

“Seven million!” I push myself up into a sitting position. “How?”

“As Scouts we are fitted with a language chip, which contains every language of the known universe, including regional dialects. When we hear spoken word, our chip scans through every other language and finds the ones with the closest grammatical form, which gives us the framework for building this new language.”

My mouth drops open. “So how long have you spoken English?”

Daezoth shrugs. “I first heard it a couple of days before I met you, in the movies I watched. At first I tried to assimilate with the zombies, but the sounds they made did not correlate with any language previously discovered, and the range of sounds was much to limited to even be recognisable as animal communication. I soon began to explore the houses, and I discovered the movie playing in the house I took you too, and watched all of the available disks so I could learn as much about your language as possible.” He gives me a soft smile. “The movies taught me the zombies were not normal life for this planet, and I desperately wanted to find some more of the sapient inhabitants that had so obviously existed, from the images on the screen.”

I can’t help but wonder what might have happened had solar power never been invented. Sure, our electricity grid survived for a while, but with the first big storm came the usual power outage
s, and with no one to repair the lines the power stayed out.

And yet the people who lived in that little building had put solar on the roof, and it kept everything going, so that Daezoth could discover that humans were real, and that zombies were not normal.

I glance up at him. “Can you say something to me in your own language?

Daezoth looked at me, and opened his mouth. The sounds that emerged were nothing like anything I’d ever heard before in my life; almost electronic sounding beeps and squeals and tones.

  “What did you say?”

He smiled, and pressed his forehead against mine.

“I love you, Chayya. And I look forward to waking up with you every morning, and spending the rest of my days with you by my side.”

  Epilogue:

As the week passes Daezoth and I are virtually inseparable.

Now I can understand how Kiranda can gaze so lovingly into those dark dark eyes, and we start to chat more, and even, dare I say it, build the beginnings of a friendship.

Aside from those who are on duty to keep an eye out for messages from the other scouts, the entire ship gathers together to eat the evening meal, and I learn that Commander Avoli is far more relaxed than he first seems to be.

And then, at the end of the first week, our tiny group has two more visitors.

We’re eating together as usual when one of the communications officers appears at the door.

  We’re instantly on alert.

“Commander Avoli, another scout has returned.”

The Commander gets to his feet. “Another one?”

  “With a human female, sir.”

The Commander crumples back into his chair, and rests his forehead against the table.

He sighs, and raises his head again. “Does Earth have supernatural forces protecting it’s women from deceit?”

  He glances at me.

I shrug, keeping my face blank, but I’m secretly amused to see this side of the Commander.

He sits up, takes a deep breath and squares his shoulders.

  “Bring them in.”

They enter the room, the poor woman’s eyes so wide I’m surprised they haven’t fallen out of her head, the man’s gaze contrite.

“My sincerest apologies, Commander. She followed me, and stowed away aboard my ship. She—”

His gaze falls on me, and then Kiranda.

Ever so slowly his mouth closes, and he swallows.

“As you can see, Zak’il. You are not the only scout to have experienced… issues.” Avoli waves in our directions, and sighs. “Please, join us. Introduce us to your companion.”

Zak’il and the woman cross to the table, where Zak’il pulls a chair out for her. The cook disappears for a moment, only to reappear with two more bowls of food, which he sets in front of Zak’il and the woman. She eyes it off, but doesn’t make a move to pick up her fork.

“This is Willa,” Zak’il says. “And this is Commander Avoli, and my fellow scouts Daezoth, and Vukre, and….”

  “I’m Chayya,” I say.

  “Kiranda.” Kiranda waves.

Willa’s gaze flicks from me to Kiranda, and she nods.

“Tell me Zak’il, have you also bonded with your female?”

The woman’s eyes grow wider still, colour creeping up her cheeks. Zak’il’s adams apple bobs nervously. “We had done so before I realised the urgency of returning to our ship to update you on the situation on the planet.”

“And what is this situation that you felt you so urgently needed to report?”

Zak’il’s gaze darts across the group of us.

“There are few of the original inhabitants left on the planet, Commander. It has been over-run by what appears to be some form of walking dead.”

  The Commander nods.

“And why did you not report this to me prior to committing yourself to the female?”

He swallows again. “I was unaware, at first, that there was such an issue. Zakiex and I landed on the outskirts of a small community. They welcomed us in, and we settled in to what we assumed was a normal life.”

“You have a community?” I can’t help but interrupt, seeking out Willa’s gaze.

  She nods.

  “How many?”

She shrugs. “I guess there were about three hundred of us. We took over the local private boarding school, it already had the tall brick walls and high gates we needed for protection, as well as the facilities for people to live; beds, kitchen, dining, even most leisure activities are provided for. They even had their own organic vegie garden and orchard. We just changed the classrooms into private residences, one per family.”

She seems to realise she’s babbling, and she stops, her face colouring. “Sorry. I’m just—” She waves her hands and glances at the ceiling. “All of this is weird, you know.”

Kiranda and I both nod. “We know.” We speak almost as one, and then glance at one another and laugh.

It seems enough to ease Willa’s fear, her shoulders visibly dropping as she releases a deep breath.

Zak’il turns back to Commander Avoli. “As I was saying. We did not know that this was not normal life for the humans. But then one of the young boys ran out of a medication he required for his breathing, and a group of us were called upon to head into town and find more supplies of this medication.” He reaches out to take Willa’s hand, and she gives him a soft smile. “Willa and I were both in the group. It was like nothing I ever expected.”

  Zak’il takes a deep breath.

“These… living dead… they have no sentience that either Zakiex or I could discern, let alone any sapience. They react only to two stimuli; sound, which they are drawn to, and light, which they flee from. Actually, there is a third. They can smell blood, and it lures them at triple the speed at which they normally travel. I knew I had to get news back to you Commander, and with the communications down this was the only way I could. I did not know the condition of our remaining scouts, nor what sort of danger they may be in.”

Avoli nods, and Zak’il seems to relax back into his chair.

“Thank you, Zak’il. As you can see, at least two of your fellow scouts have survived. I do not fear for any of the Somtachian Scouts, though it does seem that our mission in visiting the planet will not go ahead as originally planned.”

He purses his lips, and pushes away from the table.

“I will consider our next move. Scouts, when you have finished your meals, you will please join me for a conference so we can discuss further plans.”

Daezoth and Vukre have already finished their meals, and with the speed Zak’il shovels his food into his mouth, it doesn’t take him long to finish his, either, and the three of them head off together to speak with the Commander.

Willa’s gaze flicks from my face to Kiranda’s and back again.

“This is real, then? The alien, shifter, space ship, thing. I’m not just hallucinating it all?”

There’s a shake to her voice, and both Kiranda and I move around the table to sit either side of her.

“You’re not hallucinating anything,” Kiranda says.

“I was ill when I first saw Daezoth’s ship,” I say. “I thought I was delirious.”

Willa smiles. “I can understand that.”

“But you have nothing to fear, here.” Kiranda continues. “They are good people. They want to look after us.”

Willa nods. “You have no idea how good it is to see other humans. Real humans I mean.” She hesitates, and her eyes widen. “You are human, aren’t you?”

“Oh, yes.” I nod, and Kiranda grins.

“No shifting here, though wouldn’t that be an amazing skill.”

  We all laugh.

Willa shakes her head. “Colette insisted aliens were real.”

  “Colette?” I ask.

Willa glances at me. “She’s my sister. She and Zakiex were getting really close, before Zak’il decided he had to run off. She must be over the moon to have a boyfriend who’s an alien.
Shes been waiting for an alien invasion since we were about six.”

Kiranda laughs, but I’m caught on something Willa said. “Zak’il bonded with you, and then left you?” That sounds odd to me. Is he really a Somtachian Scout?

Willa nods. “I overheard him talking to his brother, about communication troubles and needing to get in touch with someone. And then he woke me up, stealing away in the middle of the night. He left a note saying he had to go and collect something, but he would be back, but I got suspicious, so I followed him. I followed him all the way to his ship, and he went inside so I waited a moment and did the same, and then I came across him in his proper form….” She gestures towards the door the Somtachians had just passed through. “And I screamed, and he screamed… and… well… that just about brings us to here.””

She takes a deep breath, and lets it out in one great woosh.

“So now I learn I’m bonded to an alien shape-shifter, and he fully intends for it to be forever, even though I’ve only just learnt he’s not who he said he is, and I was beginning to think maybe I was going to die out here in space and no one was ever going to know what happened to me, but then you’re both here, and I don’t think I’ve ever been so happy to see another human-being in my life.”

I smile, and reach out to cover her hand with mine.

“I can relate,” I say. “Especially with the shock of finding out the person you were attracted to is not exactly human! But Zak’il is still the same person, even if he looks a little different on the surface. Don’t reject him because of that. Just allow yourself a little time to adjust. If you loved him before all this, then you can still love him now.”

Willa holds my gaze, he lip trembling.

“I hope so,” she says. “Because right now I feel like I’ve lost the love of my life.”
