- Please, please, please, please, please, please! - she whispered over and over when I reached the top of her belly. - Don't stop!
Smile at your request and I kissed your clitoris. She grabbed my hair harder causing me to bury my face even deeper between her legs. Satisfied with that reaction, I started to play with the little button that pulsed with urgency. Annabel screamed when I inserted her tongue between the lips of her vagina and twitched. I started stocking her by squeezing her thighs so she'd stay in place. She threw her head back making me sure she was about to explode, so I stopped. Getting down on my knees, I took off my underwear and I'll walk over it. Without letting her breathe, I penetrated Annabel. I took a deep breath trying to control my movements and started stocking it. She held my arms and started exploring my back as soon as I started to move. I pulled her legs against the side of my chest when I realized she had joined me. Our bodies came together in a single movement, as if they were dancing a perfect waltz. She moaned and shouted my name as I stocked it, first slow and then fast, always alternating. With one quick move, I turned my back on her. I kissed her shoulders and neck again, causing countless chills. I lightly bit her buttocks and put a finger in her vagina, kissing her shoulders and neck again. I stifled another one of her moans with my lips when I accelerated the movements of my hand.
- Bruce!
Hearing my name whispered once again filled me with pleasure, so replace my hand with my member. I stocked it again and kissed it slowly. I put my hand under her and started massaging her clitoris. She grunted following my movement. When she was about to succumb, I became Annabel again. I wanted to finish it by looking into your eyes. She gasped when, without allowing time, I penetrated her again and continued the precise movements. She threw her head back and kissed her throat, then buried my face on her shoulder. Taking his hands, I intertwined with mine and accelerated the rhythm. When I felt that she would fall into ecstasy, I lifted my head to face her.
- Open your eyes! - I did. She opened her eyes and stared at me. - Eyes on me!
Annabel nodded and accelerated even more, making her scream as she made fun. I did not stop storing her and soon another orgasm was built showing how sensitive she was. She shouted my name again squeezing my buttocks and that was enough for me to enjoy right away. I fell into her arms, panting, but ready for more if she wished. We remain embraced for a long time until our breaths return to normal. I lifted my head and saw Annabel smile.
- Hello! - I whispered kissing your forehead.
- Hello! - she answered in a low voice.
- Happy?
- A lot!
Smile kissing your forehead and the tip of your nose. I kissed his lips softly and soon the fire of desire was back.
- Are you tired?
- No, why not?
- Because I'm still not sleepy.
- Me neither!
She kissed me by rekindling my wish. When fatigue took hold of us and Annabel leaned her head on my chest falling into a deep and satisfied sleep, I made a prayer swearing to protect her and love her for all eternity. Before falling asleep, I kissed his forehead and with a smile I plunged into the deep darkness of a quiet sleep.
Chapter 19
Annabel
I was trying to contain my joy in being engaged to Bruce. When it dawned, I went back to my room the same way I got to his. He wanted to come with me, but I asked him to stay so we wouldn't be seen. On my way back, although very happy and somewhat distracted, I didn't see the guard taking care of Morvan's cell, but the angle I was in didn't leave much to be seen, so I figured he was in another corner of the room. I thought I'd go over there and investigate, but I decided the best thing would be not to show up in front of him. I'd talk to Bruce about it and about the night before that, too.
- You look even more beautiful! - Bruce whispered. - If that's possible!
I smiled at him as soon as I sat down at the breakfast table. Bruce was willing to provoke me and made no effort to do so.
- You know, I can't wait for us to be alone again to kiss every inch of your soft skin. - he rubbed his thumb against the side of my hand. - Kiss your mouth until you lose your breath and penetrate it so deeply, until you scream my name and fall exhausted on my chest.
I had a coughing fit the moment the words left Bruce's mouth and choked on the juice I was sipping. With the most fake face in the world, he slapped me on the back.
- Annabel, are you all right? - he asked with a mocking face that made me want to hit Bruce. - Eat slower.
- Yes, I am! - I responded by catching my breath. - I was distracted by the excerpt from a book I read. It was very funny, by the way.
Bruce laughed shaking his head.
- Then you can read! - said Adelaide in derision. - I'm sorry if I'm a little surprised, but from what I've heard about Ravenna, she's very strict when her daughters have some knowledge. As far as I know, she believes it is a great waste, a woman wasting her time with books and other nonsense such as freedom.
Adelaide's words came out with an air of debauchery that made me want to fly in her hair and pull them out of her head. The worst part is that she wasn't telling any lies, but I didn't want to remember.
- I think you like to read too. - said my sister in an angry voice. - Lord Ector seems to me to be a zealous and discerning father, but never negligent. What books has he indicated for improving your education?
Ector sighed grumbling.
- Adelaide doesn't like to read. - he said in a dry voice. - Even if her mother and I had encouraged her, she never had the patience to read. She learned with great difficulty, but hates to read any book.
- Well! - Adelaide hesitated for a moment. - It's just that I'm not a big fan of reading, that's all.
- Should I think she's a disinterested or just a lazy one? - Aideen asked by putting a strawberry in her mouth.
Everyone laughed while Adelaide snorted. She was so red that the bruises on her face stood out. She smiles with satisfaction when she sees that the tapas I gave in Adelaide have been taken with desire. So much so that some bruises turned slightly purple. Even his arms were marked.
- Adelaide, what happened to your face? - Alistair asked at one point. - Looks like he got into a fight with cats.
- Yeah, it is! - Bruce amended it with a cynical smile. - What happened to end up with so many marks?
- I asked that same question as soon as I saw you in your room this morning. - said Ector. - Adelaide had said it was an accident and that she fell down the stairs when she was going up to her room last night.
I leaned back on the chair and looked down on her with disdain. Adelaide snorted. I realized that she hadn't told Ector anything about what had happened and was looking for the right words to explain herself.
- Jesus! - I exclaimed ironically. - Why didn't you call anyone to help you?
- It wasn't as serious as it sounds. - she answered in a dry voice.
- If you say so. - said by shrugging his shoulders. - Anyway, I advise you to use chamomile infusions. According to my grandmother's herbal book, chamomile helps relieve pain and clear stains. You'd know that if you were a reading fan.
She looked at me with disdain, turning her eyes, but just nodded. I looked at Bruce who was hiding his laughter. Aideen, however, smiled with satisfaction, while Alistair shook his head from side to side with a sarcastic smile on his face. This further irritated Adelaide, who rose from the table without asking for permission and went out of the hall.
We continued to have breakfast, talking pleasantly and I realised that Ector was not a bad person. He was just inclined to do what most fathers of single daughters did... Pamper their daughter. For a moment I was jealous of Adelaide who, as far as I could tell, was very dear to his father, because Ector's affection was widely perceived. During the conversation he ended up confessing that the idea of charging for the marriage agreement outside of Adelaide and that she was radiant about the possibility of being a duchess. I had no idea why anyone would want to have a
title of nobility so much that they would get rid of their honour, personality or any priority other than winning a title.
One of the employees announced that the horses that would take Ector back to his fiefdom, were already ready and available for his departure. They said goodbye while I watched from a distance with my bow in my hands. As Adelaide was about to cross the exit gate to the bridge, I shot an arrow. She looked back with an indignant look and I smiled with mockery. Seeing that there was a paper jam, she walked to the side of the gate where the arrow stuck and removed it. Everyone stood in front of him, walking distractedly and did not even notice what I had done. I saw her unwrap the paper, and stopped for a few moments and read its contents. Adelaide looked incredulously at me with a look full of fear and hatred at the same time. She discarded the note in the creek and walked out beating her feet.
- May I ask what was in that note? - Bruce whispered behind me.
- No big deal! - he said turning me around to face him. - Just a reminder of what I'll do with her, if, any day now, Adelaide ever steps on this castle again or wherever you are, and she dares look at you.
Bruce made a face, but then he laughed.
- I don't want to imagine what it would be like, but I'm glad to have such a lovely personal guard. - he said smiling.
- It may not seem so, Mr. Duke, but I can take good care of what's mine. - I fired in an ironic way by tapping my index finger against his lips.
Bruce smiled and, grabbing my hand, kissed my fingers. That simple touch made my whole body shiver.
- I don't doubt this one bit! - he whispered.
We stared at each other for a while, until he grabbed my throat, as usual, and pulled me closer. I took a deep breath with the expectation of being kissed the way he had announced with his gestures and look. Bruce rubbed his lips against mine until he took mine in a gentle kiss. I wrapped his neck with my arms enjoying every moment of that frantic kiss, until he became urgent and Bruce pulled me off the ground.
- You guys wanna get a room? - Alistar's voice interrupted us. - There are children here.
Aideen slapped her husband's arm and smiled at us.
- Stop, Alistair! - she said. - You'll embarrass them!
I let out a laugh and, next to Bruce, we returned to the castle. Alistair and Aideen set aside an entire afternoon for us to talk about. They were happy with our union and helped us with our wedding plans.
- We'll need two days to call it Annabel. - Alistair said at one point. - I wonder if you could wait that long before the wedding.
- To call it? - I asked by frowning.
- Yes! - Alistair smiled. - You're going to marry my cousin and that'll make you a duchess. I want to give you the title first, so you can marry now as one entitled.
- Your Majesty, there's no need for that. - I said in a nervous voice. - I'm not marrying Bruce out of obligation or to get a title. I marry him for loving him.
- I know that! - Alistair smiled and approached me. - I haven't seen my cousin so happy and, at the same time, very confused in a long time. It's even fun to watch your expressions and behavior when you're by your side. That's why it would be a great honor to call you.
Tears came to my eyes when I heard him speak so affectionately. Alistair hugged me and then Aideen took his place. She smiled proudly.
- We're looking forward to a traditional ceremony, with two days of celebrations and Highland games. - Aideen smiled at Bruce.
- Thank you, my cousin! - said Bruce shaking Alistair's hand. - It's been a long time since we've had a party like that.
- Too bad we didn't have that at our wedding. - said Alistair. - I think we can remarry Bruce and Aideen and enjoy the festivities. What do you think?
- Me? Marry you again? - Aideen said, making a face, but then he opened a smile. - I'd do that as many times as there was an opportunity.
Alistair dragged Aideen into a breathtaking kiss. Bruce and I pigmented and they looked at us.
- Why don't you look for a room? - said Bruce, repeating Alistair's words.
Aideen released a laugh, which was followed by us and became a big laugh. Bruce and I left the salon radiant. We decided to spend the rest of the day walking. Bruce took me to a part of the forest where we made love on a blanket and stayed until almost dawn.
- Happy? - he asked by kissing the palm of my hand.
- A lot! - said smiling. My face became serious when I remembered the scene in the dungeon. - Bruce, one thing worries me.
- What's going on?
- Morvan!
- Annabel, Morvan's under arrest and there's no chance of escape.
- I know so, but when I spent last night in the dungeon door, I saw the guard delivering something with the plate of food. Today, however, the guard was not present in the cell. - I explained. - I know that from the angle I was at, the guard must have positioned himself in a corner not visible to me, but even so, wouldn't it be the case to put more guards in the dungeon? Just to be safe. It's just that I don't have a good feeling about it.
Bruce sighed.
- All right! All right! I'll have them reinforce the security of the dungeon and check to see if he's received anything other than a plate of food. - he said settling down. - Now, future lady Bruce MacCalister, I want a kiss.
- Just one? - I asked seductively.
- Of course not!

The next two days were Dunhill's most hectic since the start of the war against Roy. Because of that, not all the lords were able to attend. On the morning of the second day, Alistair asked us to go to the throne hall. He gave me the title of Duchess and as a gift, Bruce gave me a tiara to be worn with the veil.
- How beautiful! - I said ecstatic. - Thank you!
- That belonged to my mother. It was from your marriage to my father and I believe she would approve of my decision to pass it on to you. - Bruce explained. - So will our daughter or daughter-in-law.
I hugged him with tears in my eyes and snorted. Then I went to my quarters to prepare for the wedding. I had chosen a simple cut dress and I opted for a short veil. The tiara would give the final touch. I've never been a fan of pomp, and the simpler I was, the better. Bruce was waiting for me in the chapel wearing his traditional kilt. He was prettier than ever with his beard close. Alistair and Aideen smiled at me when I stepped in the chapel. We took our vows and were blessed according to tradition. Everything went very well, but I could not get that anguish out of my chest which had lasted too long. That bad feeling did not leave me and, worried, I did not stop looking around whenever I had the opportunity. It was like someone was about to jump on me.
- Undo your worried face! - whispered Bruce as soon as we left the chapel.
- I'm sorry! I'm sorry! - I said in a nervous voice. - It's just that something tells me something bad's gonna happen.
- I know that! - Bruce sighed. - Something really serious is about to happen.
- Really? What's that? What's that? - said looking from one side to the other.
- You married me and you know how insatiable I am. - he said smiling.
I made a face.
- Bruce, I'm serious!
- I know that, but there's nothing to worry about. - he said kissing my forehead. - This is our wedding and nothing can ruin that day. Trust me!
Those words sounded comforting and I just nodded. Smiling, we began to pass through the guests, but before moving on, I looked back for the last time. Something told me that day would be marked forever.
Chapter 20
Bruce
- I can't believe that bastard ran away - I fought my way from one side of the hall to the other.
I was still dressed in my clothes from the wedding ceremony, because as soon as I found out that Annabel had been kidnapped, I didn't think to change my clothes to go out hunting. I was bleeding from the blow to the head I got. We had gone to a reserved place, near the lake, when I felt a strong blow and went to the ground. I woke up moments later with the news that Morvan had escaped
from the dungeon with the help of some guards. The miserable should be mercenaries who have infiltrated my men.
- Stay calm, Bruce! - said Alistair. - If he despairs, it won't get him anywhere. We have to think about getting to Annabel.
- We're talking about my wife in the hands of that bastard. - I screamed again. - Of course I can't stay calm!
- I know Annabel, Bruce! My sister's smart. - Aideen approached. - At this point, Morvan must embitter the bread that the devil has kneaded, for having kidnapped her. I doubt if she's not making his life a living hell or if she hasn't left any crumbs to be found.
- You should see that wound. - said Alistair approaching me. - He looks serious.
- I don't care much about the wound. - I fired a growl. - I want Annabel back, and I will spare no effort to find her.
I took a deep breath, closing my eyes. Aideen was right to say that Annabel was very intelligent and she certainly hoped that we would go out looking for her. Yet, I felt desolate to think of the atrocities which that scoundrel could do to her. Alistair was right and I had to calm down and think of something to find her.
- Why didn't I hear you? - I was angry. - If I'd listened to Annabel's concern, that would never have happened. Maybe we would have prevented Morvan from escaping.
- Don't be hard on yourself, my cousin! - Alistair said by passing his hands on my shoulder. - We live days when every man is corrupted by a bag of coins. Looks like money speaks louder than your loyalty.
