Reign of Rebels: A High School Bully Romance (Bad Boy Royals of Kingsbury Prep Book 6) Page 2

by Rachel Angel

I slept enveloped in Kaz’s arms. Since arriving back at Kingsbury, I didn’t get much rest and was exhausted. Arriving at Arcadia in such a rush, fueled only by adrenaline, I came to realize that I hadn’t slept in 30 hours. Non-stop.

My body finally gave in, and I fell into a deep sleep.

When I woke, I was outside on a sunny day, in a part of the castle near the forest where I had never been to.

I was wearing a dress that looked like something out of Medieval Times.

And I had some kind of straw basket in my hand, half-filled with wild berries.

Dozens of blueberry bushes grew along the sunny edge of the forest along with raspberries and blackberries. The few strawberries that remained were too small to be of any use, so I collected as many of the big ripe blueberries as I could.

As I reached deeper into the blueberry patch, I heard a strange sound. Straightening up, I thought of what Avery had said as I looked around, trying to find the source of the sound. Avery?

It came again, an eerie growl.

I set my hand over the hilt of the short sword that was always at my waist. The growl came again, and every muscle in my body tensed, ready to fight.

A loud thud sounded behind me and I dropped my basket of blueberries as I turned, but I wasn’t fast enough. I was quickly tackled and pushed to the ground, scratching my face on the branches of the blueberry bushes on my way down. The hard and heavy weight of my attacker pinned me to the ground as a hand quickly came over my mouth, silencing any cry for help.

Swallowed up by the dense blueberry bushes, I turned on my back to face my attacker. His laughing eyes instantly met mine, but his hand remained over my mouth.

Smiling under his hand, I struggled, knowing very well how it excited him. He reached up under my shirt and greedily grabbed my breast, and when he finally removed his hand, it was to replace it with his hungry lips. His newly freed hand hurried under the waistband of my skirt and under my undergarment. The motion of his fingers instantly aroused me, bringing on the hint of an orgasm.

Leaving my lips, his warm wet mouth came to my breast, latching onto a nipple and bringing it to exciting heights. I was on fire and in need of having it extinguished.

  And I needn’t tell him.

  He knew.

Jacking my skirt up, he tore off my undergarment and parted my legs. He didn’t waste any time. We both knew what we wanted, and we both wanted it now.

“I’ve been looking everywhere for you,” he said huskily, his beautiful azure blue eyes gazing adoringly at me.

“Well, you’ve found me, Axel,” I said with a lusty grin. “What are you going to do now?”

Axel? Or was it Kaz dressed in an ornate black and silver embroidered and diamond embellished outfit a medieval prince would wear?

Whoever Axel was or Kaz, he was hot.

“Oh,” he said with a sexy groan, his cock nudging up against my pussy, getting me soaked.

Damn, he heated me up to the core. He knew how to turn me on, warm me up, make me beg. He knew I couldn’t resist him. He knew that I always wanted more.

  And he exploited that.

“Don’t make me beg for it, Axel.”

“Oh,” he groaned. “But I do love to hear you beg.”

“Give me your cock,” I said. “Fuck me with that big dick of yours.”

“Talk dirty some more. There’s something so delicious about hearing you talk such filth. Daughter to the Kingmaker. You’re practically nobility, and yet you talk like a whore.”

“And you fuck like a sailor who’s been out to sea for far too long.” I arched my back, shoving my breasts into his face, while putting some distance between my crotch and his cock.

“Are you playing with me, you wench?” he said.

“If you don’t fuck me now, I’m out of here.”

“You think?” He looked into my violet blue eyes. “You think you can break free of me?”

I grinned and licked my lips. I wanted him so bad. “Just fuck me and shut up.”

He licked the side of my breast and when I tilted my hips up to him, he rammed his cock deep inside me, groaning as he closed his eyes in pleasure.

“Yes!” I said, gripping his ass with my hungry fingers. “Fuck me!”

“That’s all you ever want from me,” Axel said as he held himself over me. “All you want from me is my dick.”

“And what a great dick it is,” I whispered as he continued to pound into me. My arousal grew and my impending orgasm took complete control of me. No longer able to speak, I could only moan my pleasure and pant as I grabbed his back and rode every thrust, keeping in rhythm with him, pumping my hips up and back, as sweat beaded on our skin.

With a groan, we climaxed together, both shuddering as wave after wave of intense pleasure rolled over us. I clung to him, holding him to me, breathing him in as his body remained tight and rigid for another long moment.

“Damn, I’ve missed you, Violet,” he murmured into my ear. His hand ran over my shoulder, down along my waist and the outer side of my thigh. “All of this. All of you. Your soft skin. Your delicious scent. I’ve missed it all so much. I just had to rush out here to see you.”

“It’s only been a week, Axel, since you visited Arcadia on some mission to find a present for your mother’s birthday. You could shop for the finest jewelry anywhere, but you found an amber pendant here.”

“Any excuse and reason to come see you. I missed you even if I don’t see you for a day,” Axel said, taking my hand in his to kiss my knuckles.

“You’ve missed the sex,” I corrected. “You’ve missed fucking me.” I had no delusions when it came to Axel. I knew our relationship was sexual… and that was it.

“Well, yeah. I missed that, too.”

Pushing a strand of hair off his brow, I smiled at him. I loved his playful side. He had the kind of boyish charm that women loved, and the women of the kingdoms certainly loved him. It wasn’t unusual to see sophisticated, mature women throwing themselves at him. And, what to say of the younger women who quite literally swooned at the sight of him.

“You’re the only one for me, Violet,” he whispered into my ear as he ground his pelvis into mine.

I let out a doubtful snort. Yeah, right, I thought.

“I want to take you as my bride,” he went on, kissing my hand while looking into my eyes. “I’ve been in love with you since we were children.” He traced his thumb along my cheeks. “I want to have children of our own with you.”

Marriage was not on my mind, especially to a king or prince. As kingmaker, it would be greatly frowned upon for me to be in any royal family. “You know that’s impossible,” I finally said. “I am to be kingmaker one day.”

“Truly?” he said. He shifted over to my side and looked at me. “You would choose the title of Kingmaker over love? Over being queen one day? Over me? Don’t I matter to you?”

“Of course, you matter to me.” I ran my hand over his strong, hard shoulder, down over his bicep and forearm and grasped his hand. The lust I felt for him was undeniable. But love? “Kingmaker is who I am, Axel. It’s my destiny.”

“Destiny,” he said flatly. “Who says? Have you ever thought that maybe your destiny is to be Queen? To be my Queen? I will be King one day, and I want you as my Queen.”

I looked into his eyes, trying to see my future. It would be fun and exciting. It would be filled with sexual adventure and titillating games. But was it what I truly wanted? Did I need more?

Axel was still so young at 18 and in certain situations a bit immature. In time that could change. He would mature and one day truly have a desire to settle down and take a bride.

A part of me wanted to believe that he would one day be grown-up, but looking at him, I couldn’t see it. All I saw was the handsome and sexy player who loved women, loved sex… and loved his freedom.

  Chapter 3

  Tempest

“Tempest,” a strong male voice said. I felt a wet hot tongue lick my breas
t. It continued swirling on my nipple until I was moaning.

“Oh Axel,” I moaned. “Oh yes, give me your hard dick. Fuck me hard.”

“Tempest!” the male voice said, firmer this time. “Dammit, who the hell is Axel?”

With that, I felt a slap on my butt cheeks, which both surprised me, waking me up, and exhilarated me, making me moan loudly.

I looked up into azure blue eyes that was still full of desire, but stormy with anger. “Kaz,” I said. “How long have I been out?”

  “About twenty minutes,” Kaz said.

“Why didn’t you wake me up?” I asked.

“Because you looked so beautiful and peaceful when you’re sleeping,” he said. “Plus you were completely out. I couldn’t wake you even if I tried. And I did try…in many delightful ways.” He reached out his finger to trace the curve of my hips.

“Kaz…I can’t be with you,” I said remembering my dream about Violet, my ancestor, who was the Kingmaker. To be a Kingmaker, she couldn’t marry a King or a Prince. It would cause her to lose the Kingmaker’s sight. I quickly pulled on my dress and got out of bed.

Kaz’s face was in shock, but quickly changed to anger. “Is it Jordan? Are you really with him and not with us?”

He looked like he wanted to punch someone.

But he looked like he was about to panic.

  “Tempest, please…tell me. Why him?”

I grabbed my jar of ointment, which I had brought into the room, originally hoping to find Kaz so I could put it on his injuries after he was severely cut and injured from the townspeople’s rioting. “This is for you, Kaz. To put on your injuries. I came here to try to put it on you, but didn’t find you. Instead Jordan was here in your room, and one thing led to another, and then you were suddenly here, and…I…I have to leave.”

I left the jar on top of his nightstand and ran to the door. Kaz got up to try to stop me…

  “Tempest, wait! I…”

I was already out the door, running down the hallway towards the California room -- the special room that the K3s had put together for me.

I grabbed the doorknob and quickly swung the brightly-colored turquoise door opened, surprising Ricky who was sitting on the leather sectional, chowing down on some buffalo wings.

“Hey, Tempest!” he smiled, waving one of the wings. “Since I’m in the California room or the ‘American’ room, as the staff calls this room, they brought in some American food staples…buffalo wings, hamburgers…”

“Pack it up and get your things,” I said. “We’re leaving.”

  “What? Why?”

“I’ll tell you along the way out,” I said. “I need you to help me with something.”

“Okay,” Ricky said, gathering his things and putting the buffalo wings back into the beach bucket it came in. I had to admit, it was a nice touch since it played into the theme of the room.

He grabbed his jacket and the bucket before offering me his arm.

  I took it.

We exited the California room together and walked down the hallway towards the kitchen where we can leave without being seen.

But before we reached the kitchen, I heard the sound of men shouting, some gunshots, and even a loud crash.

Ricky looked over at me, and I said, “Dammit, what timing.”

“Want me to check it out, and you can go do what you have to do?” Ricky asked.

“No, I’ll check it out with you,” I said walking back into the hallway with Ricky and towards the sounds. “Besides, I need you for what I need to do.”

Ricky grinned. “You need me, huh?”

“Yes,” I couldn’t help grinning back at him.

“Admit it, Tempest,” he said. “You love me most.”

“Tempest!” a familiar voice shouted over to me.

Jordan ran over to me and grabbed my hand.

“Jordan,” I said looking around. If Jordan was free and standing next to me instead of being held by Ori and Hunter, where were the K3s?

“Where are the guys?” I asked Jordan. “What did you do to them?”

“Tempest, why are you worried about them?” Jordan asked. “They took me hostage for God’s sake. The future King of Islandia, of Arcadia…hostage! What do you think was going to happen?”

Ricky’s eyes grew wide like saucers.

Mine were about the same size and bulging out.

  “The military?” I asked.

  Jordan nodded.

“But Kaz was the future King of Arcadia, of Islandia,” I said.

“Was is the right word for it, Tempest. Not anymore,” Jordan said.

  “What’s happening?” I asked Jordan.

“I’m doing a little housekeeping while my military is here at Kingsbury. I was going to wait until later, when you were safely out of here, but Kaz and his impulsive friends had to go and take me hostage, and…” he smelled me with a look of disgust, “fuck my woman.” He threw Ricky a death glare and said, “You…had your fun with Tempest, but mark my words…when I become King of this Island, of all the hundreds of islands in Islandia, no one but me will be permitted to touch my wife, the Queen, including you.”

“Shouldn’t Tempest be the one making that decision?” Ricky asked smugly, looking at me.

Jordan reached out to tuck some strands of my purple hair behind my ear. “Of course,” he said looking lovingly at me. “But Tempest would love to please me, keep me happy when she’s my wife, wouldn’t you my love?” He kissed me passionately, his tongue sweeping in to meet mine.

I couldn’t help kissing him back, and when he reach down to put his hand down the front of my panties to play with my clit, I moaned.

“Um Tempest,” Ricky put his hand on my shoulder, pulling me back and away from Jordan. “Don’t we have to go? You have something you had to do…”

I opened my eyes and blinked at Jordan’s face so up close to my face. “I do.”

Jordan’s eyes blinked back at me. “What is it that you have to do, Tempest? Maybe I can help you with it.”

“Something in town,” I said. “That’s why I need Ricky to go with me. I’m doing research on family history.”

  “As the Kingmaker…” Jordan said.

“Actually, yes,” I said. “I keep having dreams…that I need to find out what it means.”

Jordan’s eyes widened in surprise. “You’re getting dreams about being a Kingmaker?” He smiled widely before grasping his hands together. “You know what this means, don’t you Tempest?”

“No,” I shook my head. “That’s what I was trying to find out.”

“It means you’re coming into your own as the Kingmaker. You’re developing the gifts you have as a Kingmaker.”

“Gifts?” I asked. “What kind of gifts? You can’t tell me that some ancient myths like the Kingmaker is real.”

“Tempest,” Jordan said, taking my hand. “I don’t have time to explain to you what it means to be Kingmaker. It’s a big deal. And you are very very special to be one…the last and perhaps only one.”

  “I don’t understand. Not Lily? She’s a descendant too,” I said.

“She’s not the firstborn,” Jordan said. “And there are many things that sets the Kingmaker apart, which you seem to have…strength of character, intellect, fortitude, physical strength and beauty…a deity amongst men and women.”

“Oh brother,” I said. “Jordan, you think I have all those traits?”

Jordan kissed me then. “Yes. All of them. You’re Tempest Storm…like a goddess. Strong, beautiful, intelligent and a character.”

Ricky looked at me like he just got hit by lightning. “Yeah, Tempest, my God, he’s right. Why didn’t I see it? I knew of the Kingmaker legend, too, but didn’t even think…it makes so much sense now.”

“I wished someone in my family had told me about this,” I said.

“The Kingmaker story has been buried in time, except for a few who believed in it…mostly royals and heads of states. Secret organizations and societi
es. People who run the world,” Jordan grinned.

“So the ones who do run the world want to keep it a secret,” I said.

Apparently, being a Kingmaker is a big deal. And if you can’t be the Kingmaker, the next best thing is to have a Kingmaker close to you. I grinned back at Jordan. “How did you know I was the one?”

“Because I have been searching for the Kingmaker,” Jordan said. “Why did I put together an underground fighting network? I wanted to find someone about your age who was incredibly strong, then if they have the intelligence, the beauty, fortitude, the goddess-like presence…that would be icing on the cake. I found a few who stood out in each of the areas, but not as high as you in each area, and certainly not altogether. My God, when you walked into the arena, I couldn’t believe my eyes. I couldn’t believe my luck. I was determined to search and find the Kingmaker even if it took decades, but I found you in a couple of years.”
