Eddie and Heaven are back and this time the danger is not just physical, it's cyber.
First, he got the pictures.
Then he got the videos.
Then the bodies started to drop.
She's mine. Always was. Always will be.
So who is the idiot threatening her life?
Sending me explicit videos?
Sending me altered photos?
Leaving bodies for me to find?
No one threatens my woman and my family.
Heaven was my woman.
I would kill to prove it to the world.

Twisted Secrets Playlist
The playlist for Twisted Secrets is a lot different from that of Twisted Affair. It’s a lot angrier, a lot more woman-centric and very female-empowering. I hope you enjoy it, and if you really want to have a rocking good time, listen to the Twisted Affair playlist and then to the Twisted Secrets playlist, you can almost see both books being played out in front of you. Enjoy!

Author’s Note
Dear Reader,
Eddie and Heaven were a surprise. A beautiful one. But a surprise, nonetheless.
I’d never actually intended to ever write them. Ava was never supposed to have a sister. She’d originally started out being an only child, and Logan? Well, he originally had all the makings of “Only Child Syndrome.”
And yet, Eddie and Heaven were born. And with them, more worlds were opened, more series were connected, more characters entered the scene, and more stories were created.
And Heaven gave me the opportunity to purge and heal through some of my own troubles.
In the last book, Twisted Affair, we found out that Zander was abusive. We also discovered that he wasn’t originally supposed to marry Heaven, that his grandfather just wanted him to take her from Eddie—a blue-collar, Steele, an Irish Murphy—but once Grandpa O’Sullivan discovered more about Heaven’s background—which is also Ava’s background, which is significant—that was when he determined that Zander needed to marry her. He didn’t care what Zander did to her, I mean, they were involved in some bad shit, but as long as Zander married her that was all he cared about.
And so we have this book.
Zander and his family’s shenanigans are not over. There are a lot of questions that will be answered in this book, but as I stated in the last one, a lot of these books interact, and while you don’t need to have read the others to understand what’s happening in this story (besides Twisted Affair), I would suggest it. In this order:
Growl’s Queen
Mad Kitty
The Irishman
35/F Seeks Alpha
Howl’s Beauty
Her Wedding
His Comfort & Joy
A Royal Secret
The Royal Nanny
The Royal Beauty
The Royal Baker
A French Romance
Kyra: The Irishman’s Wife
I Am Command
Twisted Affair
But He’s A Man (M/M-Bi For You Romance by Vicktor Alexander)
Nia: The Irishman’s Sister
Twisted Secrets
Bound (Releasing in April)
I have 11 pen names, and there are going to be some characters that show up in various books across various genres. Nothing truly significant will happen in the other books, but for a full, well-rounded experience, I would suggest reading them as well.
Now, for those trigger warnings (because there are some in this book):
This book contains hate speech, mentions of sex trafficking, mentions of sexual and physical domestic abuse, mentions of child abuse, implication of incest, explicit sex, mentions of miscarriage and abortion. *Read at your own risk. You have been warned. *
If you are not a fan of cliffhangers, DO NOT READ THE EPILOGUE!
Thank You For Buying!
I so hope you enjoyed the second book in the Eddie & Heaven series. Thank you for purchasing the continuation of Eddie and Heaven’s story, and another installment in the saga of Clan McCarthy. This is a dark romance so there are no knights-in-shining-armor or innocent princesses. Almost everyone in this book gets their hands dirty.
And they like it.
This is part of a series, so while the main couple: Eddie and Heaven get an HFN, the story as a whole? It ends on a cliffhanger. And no, you don’t need to read the other books that intersect with this one to understand it, but it might make it just a little more enjoyable (and clarify those outer lying stories).

One Year After The Death of Zander O’Sullivan
I bit my lower lip nervously as I headed down the stairs from the master bedroom I shared with my husband, towards the living room where he was currently sitting on the floor playing video games with our daughter. Since the night of my “failed” engagement party to Zander, the one in which the man I was engaged to, was brutally murdered by members of the drug cartel associated with a member of his business, Ashley and I had been living in the Steele home. Eddie had all of our things moved out of my old condo and moved into his
childhood home. My condo was put on the market, and promptly bought by Andrew and Kyra, for… “reasons.”
Eddie and I had waited six months before getting married, in order to make sure there was no speculation or suspicion cast on me for Zander’s death. But I shouldn’t have worried. The O’Sullivans were nothing if not resourceful. It was their publicist who’d released the story about how and Zander had been killed.
Crazy ass family.
Thank god I hadn’t married into it.
And while that was good news, nothing was as good as the news I held in my hand.
I stood right in front of the television and waited for my husband and my daughter to scream at me to move out of the way.
“Baby, I love you, but move! You’re going to make me crash my car and Ashley is going to win with fucking Yoshi ©!”
I rolled my eyes, Eddie and Ashley took Mario Kart© a lot more serious than they needed to. Well, I had something for that.
I didn’t say a word, I simply stretched out my arm, and held out the plastic, white stick I’d been clutching.
“What’s tha—” Eddie’s voice trailed off. “I-is that what I think it is?”
I nodded.
“Oh my god!” He leaped to his feet and pulled me into his arms. “You have never been as beautiful to me as you are right now.”
I giggled and squeezed him back.
“I don’t get it,” Ashley piped up and Eddie and I turned to her with wide grins on our faces.
“Your mommy is pregnant, Bug,” Eddie told Ashley, using his nickname for her. “You’re going to be a big sister.”
Ashley’s eyes widened. “Yeah?”
I nodded. “Yeah, sweetheart.”
I watched as my daughter smiled widely, before returning her attention to the television screen and the game.
“Cool.”

I grinned at the framed sonogram sitting on my desk. Heaven and I had just gone for her six-month appointment, and while she looked as if she were big enough to be carrying quads, my wife was only pregnant with twins.
I’d officially lost that bet with Logan. Dammit.
I didn’t care though. I was simply happy to know that I was here, with my woman, for this pregnancy.
And I would be there for every pregnancy to follow. All the cravings. The labor pains. The diaper changes. The bruised knees. The college tuitions…
I was a family man.
The Marines had turned me into a man with the ability to protect and provide for his family.
But Heaven made me into a man worthy enough to have one.
I sifted through the mail on my desk and stopped at the sight of a large manila envelope. I reached out for the letter opener, just as my office phone rang.
Then my cell phone rang.
One was my brother.
The other was my wife.
I figured Heaven was simply calling to tell me about a craving, but Logan? He’d gone to take care of a job for Andrew, so if he was calling me, it was a big deal.
“Bro? What’s up?”
“Did you get a manila envelope?”
I stared down at the item in question in my hands and nodded, though he couldn’t see me.
“Yeah, why?”
I started to slide the contents from inside.
“Whatever you do, don’t open it, and for sure don’t look at it. I’m on my way back. We’re going to take care of it. Every man in the clan got one. Just don’t look and especially don’t take it upon yourself to handle it.”
I frowned, trying to figure out what the fuck Logan was talking about, but then I focused on the numerous pictures I’d pulled out as well as the letter with them.
Pictures of my wife.
Pictures of my wife nude.
Pictures of my wife nude in our home.
Unaware.
Vulnerable.
Pregnant.
These mother fuckers were recent.
Hello Edward,
You have made a very powerful enemy.
One who finds your wife very appetizing.
You have three weeks to complete three tasks.
Succeed and your wife and children will live.
Fail and the next picture you will receive will be those of their dead bodies.
Ciao,
A Friend
“Logan?”
“Yeah, bro?”
“Get home fast. You have three hours, then I’m burning B-More to the ground to find this mother fucker.”
“Got it.”
End one bitch ass mother fucker and three more popped up.
Who the hell was behind this Hydra-like asshole and why the fuck did they think they could come for me and mine and survive?
I would have to teach them differently. I was more than ready.
I was a Steele man after all.
Chapter One
A Friend
Outside the Steele Family Home
Home of Eddie, Heaven, and Ashley Steele
Baltimore, MD
I couldn’t believe this bullshit.
This motherfucker, who told me he wasn’t looking for anything serious, was married and had a kid, with another one on the way. What kind of fucked up lie was that? I mean, why couldn’t guys just be honest? Just tell us the truth. It’s not like women aren’t the same way when it comes to sex. There are plenty of us who are just looking to have sex as well. We’re not all looking to settle down with the first guy who smiles at us, calls us pretty, and maybe eats our pussy.
Just say: Look, I just want to get my dick wet. I’m not trying to fall in love or get married.
Not that difficult.
But noooo. Edward “Eddie” Steele had to lie and tell me that the reason he didn’t want anything past one night with me was because he wasn’t trying to fall in love or marry anyone.
That had been a mere two years ago. And while I know that a lot can change in a year, the fucking black-as-tar woman he was currently with he’d gotten with her a month after he was cumming all inside of me. Panting, drooling, and chasing after her. Telling her that they belonged together. That she was his.
That he loved her.
Then he was claiming her kid as his own, proposing to her, and getting her pregnant.
See? Bullshit.
My cousin, Zander was so right about that Heaven bitch. She was a manipulative asshole. Always looking for a man to take care of her.
As I stared at the tall, imposing, two-story, white clapboard house with its steel gray trim and grey shutters, I sneered. The grass was impossibly green and manicured perfectly. The front walkway was lined with pink, red, and white rose bushes. There was a porch swing on one side of the porch, and a seating area with white patio furniture as well as a small table, with a dark grey wicker basket in the middle filled with magazines, books, and notebooks.
It looked very picturesque. Quaint. Like the home of the all-American family.
I very much looked forward to watching it all blow to pieces.
“Ah, Miss O’Sullivan,” a smooth, cultured, Middle-Eastern accented male voice came from behind me, and I slowly turned from where I was currently standing behind my vehicle watching the home of the man who’d given me one of the best nights of my life, to the man sent to me by my grandfather.
“Mukhtar?” I questioned.
“Indeed.” He nodded. “And you are Anya, yes?”
I nodded, letting my eyes traverse his physique. Mukhtar was gorgeous, if you liked a man who was tall, lean, with long, wavy black hair, swarthy olive-toned skin, big hands, a trim waist, black eyes, a jaw that was cut and firm like granite, curved black eyebrows, and a man who wore an expensive, high-end suit so comfortably, you would have thought he was born into it. Mukhtar was attractive, but he was a little too… refined for my taste. I liked my men a little more raw, uncultured, hard.
Like Eddie.
<
br /> My mother said it was because I was rebelling against my father and grandfather, trying to find a guy who was the opposite of them, and… I mean, I could see the truth in her statement, but that wasn’t the only reason. Guys like Mukhtar, my grandfather, and my father were too refined to know how to fuck a woman. They “made love”, with roses, candles, soft touches, and gentle kisses.
Men like Eddie fucked.
Headboard-banging, screaming-until-you-get-hoarse, skin-clawing, hair mussing, knee-shaking, passing-out, drain you dry of your juices, fucking. That’s what Eddie had given me during our one night together. I’d been branded. Altered. Changed.
A woman didn’t get that kind of dick and simply walk away. That kind of shit made a woman a worshipper of a man’s cock. And I was a fanatic member of the Church of Eddie.
Which was why I was so pissed off that my god had shunned me to worship at the altar of another.
Shoving all thoughts of Eddie and his betrayal from my mind—for the moment. It was, after all, my motivation, my fuel, my drive to get revenge, and the reason I was outside his home at three o’clock Sunday morning—I nodded at Mukhtar.
“I sure am,” I answered. “My grandfather said you were just as interested as I was in getting even with Eddie Steele?”
And just like that, Mukhtar’s face went from being pleasant to look at, to morphing into a hard, unblinking, dark, and deadly visage. The change was amazing, startling…
A huge fucking turn-on.
“Indeed. It appears that Mr. Steele is responsible for the death of my little brother while he was serving over in my country.”
I nodded. I knew about Eddie serving overseas. We’d met in a military surplus store when he’d returned from serving. He’d been looking for a buddy of his who owned the store, I was looking for a uniform so that I could pretend to have served in order to get free stuff.
