RYQUAT SPECIES:
Ancestors of Humans. Were once inhabitants of Mars. During that period, Mars was a warm planet with oceans of water and rich in oxygen. The Ryquats had evolved into a thriving industrial species who made their presence known across the Milky Way Galaxy.
Several aliens within the galaxy accused the Ryquats of aggressively entering and violating sacred space without permission. Instead of pleading ignorance or asking for a caucus to negotiate, the arrogant Ryquats vowed they would travel wherever and whenever they pleased.
Their defiance split the Milky Way Galaxy and three neighboring galaxies into bloody territorial disputes. The boundaries have never been resolved and the war is ongoing.
One such enemy is the Crozins. They retaliated by disintegrating two of the four small moons that orbited Mars, thus causing a slight shift in all the planets orbiting the sun. Mars slowly lost her rich oxygenated atmosphere, turning her into the red planet that you see today.
It took centuries for the Ryquats to leave their dying planet and relocate to their new home, Zaurak. All the while, relentless Crozins continued to randomly attack the Ryquats as they fled Mars. One of the last Ryquat passenger cargo ships enroute to Zaurak was attacked by a Crozin battleship, causing them to crash onto the harsh surface of Earth. A futile attempt to locate the lost ship was unsuccessful; therefore, she was classified as a casualty of war. Most of the Ryquats survived the crash on Palaone.
The survivors found the planet to be hostile with a thin oxygenated atmosphere and a blistering hot surface compared to their once beautiful Mars. Palaone gradually cooled and transformed into today’s Earth.
The stranded Ryquats prayed for months that a rescue ship would find them, to no avail. Years later, hope was gone along with their depleted resources and food supplies. Sympathetic Quizans befriended the tattered Ryquats and willingly nurtured them during their acclimation on Earth. As a species, they severely digressed during the first thousand years. By the time the Zaurak Ryquats discovered them, they were considered an inferior species. Rather than destroying the savage Ryquats, the Council renamed them Humans.

UMDUL SPECIES:
The Umduls are prominent members of the Fidus Achates Territory and close Ryquat allies. Throughout the galaxy, they have a reputation of being formidable warriors and respected spacecraft engineers.
They are sort of cute and ugly at the same time and everything they say seems to end in a question.
Umdul’s are approximately four feet tall with squatty bodies and colorful, bushy, baby-fine hair that stands straight up on top of their heads. From the back, their hair either falls in a straight line to their waist or is attached to their spine. Either way, it is by far the most attractive feature of an Umdul.
For thousands of years, the Ryquats provided avian-nautical blue prints and raw materials to the Umduls. In return, the Umduls provided the Ryquats with reliable high-tech battleships, cargo ships, transports, and shuttles. Umduls are brilliant engineers, shrewd in combat, brave and loyal. They are by far the quirkiest species in the Orion Belt.

KIKI SPECIES:
They come from a galaxy called Coma Berenices, about thirty million light years from Zaurak. The Kiki’s planet Kowok has about a third of Earth’s gravity.
The Kikis are highly sophisticated, virtuous, and courageous
beautiful creatures. They walk gracefully upright on two legs and are covered with colorful, iridescent, short feathers except for long, brilliant tail feathers. They are fast and have very slender, sleek bodies. Adult Kiki’s stand approximately five to six feet tall. Though they resemble birds on Earth, the Kiki’s have arms instead of wings and are unable to fly. Kiki battleships are iridescent like the feathers of the Kiki. For millions of years the Kiki’s have been allies of the Umduls.

GYSTFIN SPECIES:
Enemy of the Quizans. The Gystfins have a reputation of being mercenaries and are not to be trusted. They are known for dangerous manual labor contracts within the Galaxy. The Ryquats and the Gystfins formed a coalition to occupy Palatu and construct enormous mining camps designed to strip the planet of precious ores. The Ryquats supplied the technology and the Gystfins received a percentage for their manual labor. Upon arrival almost a decade ago, the thick-headed brawny Gystfins hunted the frail Quizans simply for the thrill of killing. During one of their many brutal attacks, a Gystfin bit off a Quizan’s head and discovered something extraordinary, grey-death energy. The death energy made it possible for the Gystfins to breathe the hostile atmosphere and fly without the aid of an apparatus. This discovery triggered mass executions across the planet.
Gystfins resemble Earth’s hyenas, except they’re much larger. They have broad shoulders, with long muscular arms and short legs. Their hands look more like paws with three fingers and a short thumb. When the paw is squeezed, the pad extends out revealing six-inch claws like that of a cat. A Gystfin’s face is broad and ugly with a wide muzzle baring long, baboon-like yellow fangs. Merged with a Quizan, a Gystfin is stronger and faster than a Trekachaw.

CROZINS SPECIES:
Ryquats despise Crozins, and they consider them a vile, ugly species. Likewise, and for good reasons, that same sentiment is felt by most Galaxy inhabitants. Crozins walk upright on three-toed hooves, but often run slumped overusing their forearms to gain speed. Their faces are long and narrow with a split nose that can separate. Even from a distance they are easy to recognize by an oversized skull that hangs freakishly disproportioned between their shoulder blades. But despite their appearance, the Crozins are intelligent and feared as ruthless warriors. The Ryquats have been and will be at war with the Crozins until one species is exterminated.

GOR SPECIES:
This species is a vile, vicious race and distant descendants of the Crozins. The Gors evolved on a planet not far from their ancestors into smaller, thick-skinned beings with armored scales that cover most of their backside. If threatened by a superior opponent, the Gors curl into an impenetrable, tight ball. They are difficult to kill and multiply quickly. One saving grace, is their life span is short; on average thirty Earth years.
The Gors and Crozins are known to take great pleasure in torturing Ryquat male adversaries. All male children and most of the female children under ten years are immediately slaughtered for food. Adult female Ryquats, or those close to puberty, are brutally violated and used as slaves by the Crozins until they became too old or ill. Gors hunt the Gystfins for food and use them for slave labor.
