Awakening (The White Stealth Clan Book 1)

But it was the only way to keep her safe, he knew as long as his claim was staked; no one in the clan would harm her. Her expression was one of hunger, and he was taken aback by her blatant stare, and of the raw need he saw.
“Leave us now!” Worwick roared without looking back.
“But we must go soon,” Tomkins risked a challenge. He shuffled his feet, uneasy at his outburst.
“I said, leave! We will discuss this soon. Round up your people and then spend time with your loved ones before we head out,” Worwick commanded.
There was no argument as the group left his tent. The air seemed thin as he fought to breathe, waiting for Analyse’s response to his claiming.
“Come here,” he voiced.
Worwick didn’t have to tell her twice, her feet moved rapidly across the plastic of the tent floor.
Chapter Ten
Analyse’s breath came in shallow pants as she watched in eagerness. With his words, she strode towards Worwick. She didn’t think he had that much pull for her to follow his command, but she should’ve known better. Every time Worwick ordered Analyse about, she became submissive as if all her fight depleted.
Deep down she still wanted to run away from this madness. Everything he’d revealed terrified the shit out of her, yet she fought the feeling. Why not enjoy what’s before her? If he’d declared they were mates, then she’ll use that to her benefit, so he wouldn’t suspect her thoughts were of leaving this place, and she still needed answers.
His chiseled physique stood before her as if an offering. Their mouths connected, creating an intense fire within her core. She’d never expected someone to be smitten with her in this way. She’d dated other men in the past, yet Worwick stroked her in ways she never thought possible.
“Touch me,” he whispered against her mouth.
Her hands plunged into his hair and massaged his scalp while their tongues glided against one another; his taste was sweet and succulent. She would miss it when she left.
He pulled her closer by gripping her ass with his left hand. His right hand tore open her shirt, exposing her firm breasts. Her face tinged with embarrassment knowing he was staring intently. Even though they’ve had sex before, this seemed more intimate. When not under the spell of the full moon, he glorified in her body.
His thumb grazed her right nipple causing it to pucker. She shivered at the touch. Was it wrong of her to crave his hands trailing sensually along her skin?
They moved in unison discovering every inch of their bodies. Her movements were rapid as she helped him shed the remaining clothes he wore. She ached to lay eyes on his member, to take it into her mouth. Her knees gave way before him as she bent to grasp it.
His cock twitched before her, letting her know he was waiting and ready. Her tongue darted out and moistened her lips.
“Fuck, baby. I can’t wait any longer,” warned Worwick, “My cock’s aching for you. That’s it, suck it.”
Her head lowered atop his enlarged phallus, sinking further until it hit the base and her chin rested upon his balls. Her right hand cupped his sack and massaged as her head lifted up and off his penis. Her tongue swirled around the head before her mouth worked its’ way down again.
Her moans vibrated around his cock. She felt the moisture pool between her thighs when his palm rested on the top of her head. Her right hand continued massaging his balls while her left hand descended towards her pussy.
His palm pushed her head as far down as it could go forcing her to relax her throat. Her eyes misted over from the gorging sensation, creating tears which pulled at the corners. Her fingers sought the folds of her pussy. She needed to relieve the ache he’d caused.
“Fuck baby. Your mouth is so damn hot. Deep throat my cock. You feel my cock twitching from your touch?” Worwick murmured.
She heard his comment and bobbed her head gently ‘yes,’ as she groaned once again around his penis. Her fingers moved up and down her pussy’s lips, spreading the moistness before settling on her sweet button. Pinching her clit between thumb and forefinger before she massaged it with her index finger, she yelped around his cock. It twitched, letting her know he was close to coming if she didn’t slow down.
He slid her head down his cock over and over with wild abandon, fucking her mouth as she flicked her clit with her fingers he suddenly sat before grabbing her hips.
“Come here baby,” he ordered.
He lay all the way upon the bedspread before moving her bottom end over his face. All the while her mouth never left his cock. Resting her palms upon his thighs, he opened her legs wide and delved his tongue into her core.
Her breath hitched from the sensation of his mouth at her center. She balanced her left palm on the bed while enclosing her right palm into a fist and gripped his cock. Their saliva coated their skin as she worked the base of his cock with her fist and her mouth sucked the tip. Mouth and fist moved in unison, creating a succinct rhythm.
She ground her pussy against his lips, forcing his chin to massage her clit with each movement. His hips thrust into her mouth as hers moved quicker atop him. Both bodies moved in accord.
Just when she thought he was close to coming, he plunged his fingers into her pussy while licking hungrily at her clit. Her body trembled with one of the most intense orgasm she’d ever experienced. She convulsed while he held her against him with his free arm, emptying his seed into the back of her throat.
She gulped the tasty liquid while her high gradually deflated.
“Holy fuck. Where the hell did you learn how to give head?” Worwick whistled, “on second thought, don’t tell me.”
She could hear the jealousy in his voice. It wasn’t like she’d known him before this. Besides, she’d only learned how to give head from porn videos. She’d always thought they focused too much on making love to the cock, but it apparently worked with Worwick.
“Don’t get your panties in a twist,” Analyse chuckled, “I learned from porn.”
His eyes landed on her as she spun off of his body and fell beside him.
“It did you good,” he reluctantly admitted.
“I can attest to that,” she agreed.
He moved towards the corner of the room and grabbed a small towel, then dumped a small portion of bottled water onto the cloth. After wetting it, he handed it over to Analyse, so she could wipe her vagina clean of its juices.
She finished washing up before handing the towel back to Worwick. He repeated the steps, and then wiped himself clean.
As much as she enjoyed the sex, she needed to leave. There was no way she would fit in with his pack. Besides, she hadn’t changed into wolf form. What if her wolf refused to make an appearance, and she was more human? They would shun her anyway for that.
“How come I haven’t changed?” she spoke her thoughts.
“I honestly don’t know. For most of us, it’s the full moon that pulls our beast out for the first time, or it’s a life-changing event,” he informed.
His answer should have made sense, but she’d experienced both now, and still no wolf. Could he have been wrong about her being a wolf? But then again, she felt the instinct within her and knew something was off. The heightened senses, and superhuman strength weren’t what an ordinary person would contain.
It was final. There wasn’t any way she could stay with the pack. They wouldn’t accept an individual like her, and since she hasn’t turned, she was distinctly more human.
She observed Worwick redressing before he informed, “I’m going to check on Tomkins and the rest of the clan. Why don’t you get some rest? I won’t be gone long.”
“Ok. Stay safe,” Analyse replied.
Surprisingly, she meant it. Just because she was going to escape didn’t indicate she meant Worwick ill will. Her heart ached at the thought of separating but it was for the best. They saw her as his mate, but no one expected her to be more human than wolf. She didn’t want his clan to disrespect him because of her lesser status.
She knew, i
n her heart that, with Worwick as the leader, they wouldn’t take long to seek out the kidnapped members. From what she witnessed, he was a reliable alpha to them. He deserved a better mate; one who would excel as his equal, and that definitely wasn’t her.
Quickly gathering her clothes and then dressing, she peeped out the plastic window above the bed before walking towards the zipped exit. Would they catch her? There was no way she could wait, and since the placed seemed deserted as if everyone were asleep, fleeing had to be now.
Thank goodness she only had her small knapsack to worry about. Retrieving a few of Worwick’s bottled water before placing them in her bag, she quietly unzipped the exit.
The entire time, her heart pounded from the fear of being caught. Would it be by him, or one of the members? She knew she didn’t think the whole situation fully through and it made the urgency to leave apparent.
Finally opened, she swiftly glanced over at the spot they’d recently shared, and her heart constricted. Her instinct was telling her not to split, and that they needed Worwick, and that maybe love was in the midst, but she fought it by pushing onward. She didn’t want to admit to being his mate, or that she might have affectionate feelings for him.
What would he expect of her? Would the pack even accept an outsider like her? Those thoughts frightened her further, as her hand shook while grasping the material near the exit before unzipping.
Walking through the flap, she glanced both ways and was relieved that the coast was clear. With any luck Worwick had most of the others meeting with him. It would make it simpler to depart. Her steps were swift as she dashed immediately towards the woods once again as her heart beat rapidly against her ribcage by the idea of getting caught.
Chapter Eleven
“Did you decide when the party should start searching?” Tomkins questioned.
“We leave as soon as the young are asleep so we don’t cause a ruckus. So far, everyone has worked together to keep the children calm, and I don’t want to frighten them because we’re leaving. I just need enough time to make sure the rest who are staying will be okay until we return,” Worwick confirmed.
Worwick’s mind was elsewhere. He’d tried his best to listen to everyone during the meeting, but his concentration rested on the auburn-haired beauty he left lying in his bed. He couldn’t wait to lick his way up her body again, waking her up from her slumber. His cock hardened at the thought of her sensual lips stroking it again.
He wanted to handcuff her there and have his wicked way with her. Those thoughts made him feel guilty because he knew the kidnapped members could be hurt or far worse, dead. He didn’t want to think of the consequences, but unfortunately, it was his duty to think of all the negatives and positives.
He knew he was stalling, but he couldn’t just neglect Analyse when she had sought him out. Dammit, he needed to bring her with them and keep her close to his side. He couldn’t leave the camp knowing she was without him and every second he wasted could bring pain upon the stolen members. Duty called regardless if he didn’t want to answer. He was alpha, and his pack relied on him.
“I think we’ve discussed everything,” Worwick declared as he looked towards Tomkins, “You and the rest of the search party, go pack up and prepare to leave. I’ll do a walk-through of the camp and then meet you within an hour near the tallest spruce on the far right of the camp.”
Tomkins nodded his head, “Sure thing.”
He was pissed the fuck off that those assholes would dare interrupt hunting season. And to top it off, those rogues got in the way of claiming his mate. He didn’t want to leave so suddenly, but it’s what must be done. There wasn’t any other option. He needed to rescue them.
Everyone dispersed towards the tents while Worwick made sure each family was situated and comfortable. It didn’t sit well in his chest knowing that he was leaving the rest of the members in distress about the obvious kidnappings, and knew he had to find someone worthy of watching over them before he left. He felt guilty because his thoughts rested on Analyse the entire time. They’d be pissed if they knew what crossed his mind.
“Hey,” a woman greeted him.
He smiled her way, “Hello Rose. Hope you’re finding everything okay.”
The creased lines of her eyes deepened, as she smiled in return, “It’s not so bad. Other than the lack of resources, we’re doing pretty well. I hope you find the missing members. It’s a damn shame.”
“We are going to find them, this I promise,” he stated with certainty.
“By the way, you should probably know that the woman you called out for from the crowd earlier, left your tent not long ago. She seemed in a rush,” Rose informed.
What the fuck? The entire time he spent taking care of the pack, she’d been planning her escape. How could he trust her knowing she would always try to flee him? Trust was so easily broken.
“Do you know which way she went?” Worwick questioned, anger in his voice.
He couldn’t stop pacing, his worry etched on his face as he glanced towards the woods. There was no protecting her if she were to get kidnapped like the rest.
Rose eyed him knowingly but didn’t respond to his disheveled state, “Sure. She went that way.”
“Thanks so much,” Worwick thanked her before running towards the direction she’d pointed.
He needed to get to Analyse before the rogues found her. His heart pounded in his chest from the thought of losing her. If he didn’t know any better, he’d say love was in the midst, thanks to his instinct. He had a strong need to shield her from the dangers of this world, and to feel complete. She was the other half of his soul. He needed her, not only for the pack but also for himself. She didn’t know it yet, but she needed him as well.
He ran full sprint, anxious. In all honesty, Analyse was probably already back home, safe and sound.
His eyes darted all around him, hoping she didn’t manage to get far. Thank God for the old snow on the ground. He slowed his pace and then noticed human tracks, not far ahead of where he stood, and he instinctively knew that it was her. In her haste, she probably hadn’t expected her tracks to embed so clearly in the snow.
The footsteps led towards one direction, and he chose to follow them. He would be screwed if the prints weren’t hers. If he didn’t hurry, he wouldn’t make it back to search for the others.
Without thought, his body changed into his beast. His wolf was white all over with no other color other than his black paws and black snout. His mane was fluffy, like a soft down pillow.
He sniffed the air, hoping to catch her scent. Walking towards the footprints, he sniffed but smelled everything but her. She’d had a distinctive scent, one of sweet and rich daffodils. She emanated a flower meadow, and his human and wolf form loved it. It surprised him. His wolf had never let him down when trailing a prey, and couldn’t believe that she had disappeared just like that with no scent.
His paws picked up the pace, but her footprints ended. He had no scent and no tracks. It was a dead end yet he couldn’t give up hope. He was slightly relieved to see that Analyse had headed towards the opposite direction Tompkins had indicated, but she wasn’t in the clear because they could’ve changed direction.
He circled the area allowing his paws to sink into the snow. Sniffing everything around him, the trees, snow, and fallen branches but there was no scent.
Feeling deflated, he set his focus onto the direction of where she lived. If she were fleeing, it had to have been home. Where else would she go? With renewed vigor, his pace quickened to a full sprint.
He loved the feel of the breeze rustling through his fur, the smell of nature filled his nostrils as he hurried towards his mate. She wouldn’t be happy to see him, but he didn’t care. He was going to show her reason, even if it meant forcing her to accept him and the clan.
Without warning, something threw itself at him.
“Fuck!” he managed to growl.
It was difficult considering his mouth was a wolf’s snout. His che
st heaved from the impact.
He rolled sideways numerous times with the object or person pinning him down. His eyes couldn’t adjust from the dizziness and chaos as they tumbled.
He wasn’t hurt, just stunned from the sudden impact of whatever slammed against him.
His body finally stopped rolling, and he panted, catching his breath before trying to pull himself up from the ground, but something prevented him. Snow and twigs covered his wolf form, but it didn’t matter. What mattered was what the fuck happened? Trying with all his strength to remove himself from being pinned down, it didn’t work. He couldn’t seem to remove the object from his body.
“Get off me!” his snout managed to make out. He wasn’t far off from Analyse’s home and was pissed that something or someone had the nerve to stop his progress. He needed to find her.
It was no use; there was no escaping the clutches of what lay atop him. He couldn’t make out what it was; a thick film of snow covered his eyes, blurring his sight.
What Worwick didn’t understand was why the rogues would decide to attack again so soon? Wouldn’t they try to get as far away as possible right about now? But then, who or what else was strong enough to hold him in place? He didn’t have any answers because anything was possible, and it heightened his sense of fear for his mate.
He managed to shake his head side to side swiftly, removing some of the slush from his sight, but it wasn’t helping. He needed his paw to wipe the excess away.
“Who is it?” he questioned boldly.
He wasn’t a chicken. If a rogue decided to spar with him, then he was willing. Whatever it took to get his members back. Regardless of the questions he asked, there were no responses. But if they had him, Analyse was definitely not safe unless they already captured her.
Worwick howled in response to his thought process. He could not lose Analyse, and it enraged him. Removing himself from their hold was a top priority. Regaining his strength, Worwick started struggling. He wiggled his front limbs quickly so he could wipe his eyes. It seemed stupid, but he needed to see who the culprit was that succeeded in pinning him down.
