I shook my head. “You were the one who insisted on building it for him, rather than buying the one that was built already, and you simply had to lower the different floors,” I pointed out. I bit my lower lip when Logan growled at me and rose to his feet. I giggled and ran—or rather, waddled—out of the room trying to get away from him.
I appreciated that Logan allowed me to get all the way to our bedroom before he trapped me against the wall, with his hands braced on either side of me.
“You better be careful woman, or I’ll put another baby inside of you.”
I rolled my eyes. “What, right next to the one that’s already in there?”
Logan chuckled. “You’re damn right.”
“That would be a Christmas miracle.”
I shivered as he ran his nose and lips against the side of my neck.
“Well, Merry Christmas to me.”
And with that, Logan took my lips in a kiss that wound up with us having to give our son Nick a picture of the dollhouse we were going to buy him a few days later that was already pre-assembled the next morning.
A Merry Christmas indeed.

That’s because while writing 35/F Seeks Alpha (Rachel & Ryan, 1) I realized that all of my books, all of my series were going to intertwine. Or at least the series that have already begun. Which makes it pretty interesting when one of those series is a paranormal. This is a Christmas novella, so it is much shorter than my other works.
This is also the beginning of a series, so while the main couple: Logan and Parker get an HFN, the story as a whole ends on a cliffhanger (Did you figure out who the Little German was?)
