"They didn't hurt you did there? I'll make them pay." He said.
"No, they didn't. They didn't hurt me at all." I said.
"Good, now put this on, we don't have a lot of time." he said and handed me a suit from his backpack.
"Where are we going?" I asked him.
"We're not going anywhere, i'm calling the ship to pick you up and i'm going to kill Jumo." he said with a degree of worry.
"What? That's suicide. Do you know how many of his men are here right now? Do you?" I asked him and he shook his head.
"It doesn't matter. This is the best shot I got at killing him right now." He said.
"Why don't you just shoot the entire building then? Blow them all up?" I said.
"You know the kind of attention I would get if I did that? The whole city would be after me including Tursia, I have to do this discreetly. If I make sure he's the only casualty that will mean fewer people hunting us if we do get out of this mess." he muttered.
"Oh yeah and nearly flying a plane into a building is discreet." I said, rolling my eyes.
"Just go, I don't want to see you get hurt." he said and I shake my head, tightening my fists and stepping closer. My gown blows in the wind, blonde hair running over my green eyes with my gaze fixated on him.
"I don't want to live anywhere without you. I know now how much you mean to me and I don't want to let that go." I muttered
"Even if you can go home? The trip will be long and difficult, many years at least but my people will be happy to help you return. They'll grant you a fortune in earthling terms, you'd be happy and you could resume a better life. Forget about me." he said and turned but I hugged the back of his battle suit.
"You're my mate, if we die then we die together. If we live then we live together, no two ways about it." I said to him and grabbed onto his shoulders tightly, he turns and glances me over, sighing before nodding.
"Looks like you're not going to budge. Alright, take this at least. Fire only when you have to understand? It's you that they're after, they won't hurt you unless you give a compelling reason." he said.
"Alright, alright." I muttered and followed him out of the hospital room, this might be the last time I ever saw daylight or anything but a dark prison cell, but at least I saw it with him and not alone, not on my own.
He guides me along the hallways, holding his rifle up at every junction and listening carefully. I was shocked that there was such a small presence of guards before he tells me that a contingent would be headed up the west stairway and told me to get ready.
"Wait in there." he said and directed me to hide in one of the hospital rooms, I nodded and crept in, listening closely as he stood there against the doorway, waiting for them and clutching his chest. He must have been shot along the way, shot saving me, I felt so helpless, so angry.
"Where the fuck is she? God this must be Tursia, first she starts a goddamn firefight downstairs and then she sends a man to steal our prisoner." one of the soldiers said.
"What the hell is she thinking? Jumo's empire can crush her's in an instant. Just because she took a big chunk of Kaiso's share she thinks she runs the damn sector now?" they asked one another.
"Thank god we're not in the lobby, these Setopolians don't fuck around." another soldier remarked before I heard the clink of a grenade, Osorn ducks behind a bed and cocked his rifle while hiding.
"SHIT!" I heard before a loud explosion rumbled the entire floor. Seconds later I heard a bit of coughing and stumbling around before Osorn was running out into the hallway. He fired several shots each way down the hall and eliminated the rest of the soldier's before beckoning me over, I get to my feet and dash over to him.
"What do we do now?" I asked him.
"Sounds like there's a firefight downstairs and Jumo is in the middle of it. We do have a lot of ground to cover so....to the elevator. I have a plan." he said and held my hand, dragging me along as we made a mad dash for the elevator. He presses the button and listened intently to the radio chatter on the adjacent floors that was still silent. This firefight downstairs must have been a bit rougher than they could manage.
"Alright, second floor." said Osorn as he pressed the necessary keys. The language was so strange, a collection of symbols on a keypad instead of the Arabic numerals I was used to back home.
I stare at the gauge and we speed down while he stands there with his rifle at the ready. He hid behind the doorway of the elevator, ready to fire out any shots necessary. Once we reach the second floor we hear a variety of soldiers running and yelling that they had to protect Jumo the sound was distant but I could tell that they were getting closer. Osorn grabs a flash grenade from his belt and chucks it outside. I cover my ears for a brief moment and once it's clear he grabs my hand and drags me along. I could only see a variety of Harkanian soldiers laid on the floor, coughing and shivering, disoriented.
We duck into one of the offices and he kicked over the desk to hide behind. We wait there for a while until we hear more men run up the stairs, apparently, they were chasing after Jumo from what I could tell. I tensed my grip on the pistol and gazed at Osorn who was sweating bullets.
"Target acquired, running to third-floor elevator. Power to building shut down, we have him cornered. Do not approach Jumo unless ordered, wait for Tursia." said one of the soldiers, then Osorn took a gambit.
"Hey! Are you guys with Tursia?" He called out.
"Who's there?! Show yourself." said the captain and Osorn pops in hand out, waving it and standing up slowly.
"I worked for her, tell her it's Osorn, the Jzarian. I have the human girl with me." he said.
"Are you crazy? You sure we can even trust her?" I asked him.
"No, but it's a useful gambit. She likely doesn't need you anymore and judging from the power she's seized in about a week I can tell that her gambit of manufacturing an analogue to your blood worked. She has no use for you or I, at the very least I can strike up another deal with her." he muttered and I shake my head, I hope he knew what he was doing.
"Call Tursia to room 2B-04 after she's done with Jumo, we have something for her." said the soldier.

Osorn
"Looks like you can't keep out of trouble Jzarian. Quite the survivors you two turned out to be." said Tursia, we sat there with a variety of ragtag guards around her. She was in a much better state, her rags were cleaned, her goggles were brand new, the weaponry was less crude than she had when she first met me.
"I was hoping that you would appreciate the help." I said.
"Taking out a few squads? I suppose that was good help, as for her I have no use, you two may flee as you wish, I have no reason to keep you here." said Tursia.
I study those dark goggles for a brief while, the soldier's gazed at us questioningly but they all feared her more than they were curious about us. I was shocked that such a brutal crime lord would let us go without swearing me to do another job for her, without swearing me to kill another crime boss or deliver something.
No strings attached.
"Why are you so.....nice to us? Comparatively speaking of course." asked Helen.
I did have the wonder myself, Setopolian warlords were infamous for their cruelty and her generosity was one of the only reasons that we were still alive after all of this. If Tursia had it in her like the rest of the lords that ran the local neighborhoods then she would have forced me to do job after job and sold Helen into slavery. We were lucky to have gone to her neighborhood, it was strange that such a coincidence led to us living and not being buried in some ditch. Tursia sighs and sits down in front of us, cross legged and shaking her head.
"Do you know why you came to my neighborhood? Trust me it wasn't at the discretion of the driver. You came there because I sent him, i've been watching her movements this entire time, knowing that Jumo would make a move. I was the one who sent the taxi to pick you up, the one to secure your release. That task I gave you of killing my co
mpetitor? That was all a ruse, it was a simple chore to simply mark you as capable of protecting her, that's all. I would have freed you for nothing if it meant that she lived, Jumo's death was simply a side effect of that. Because the truth is that all I needed from her was the blood, it was all a gambit to see if she would live through it all, Kaiso chasing her, Jumo capturing her. It was all about her but you played your part Jzarian. I wanted to protect her this entire time because I too am a...." she began and gripped her rags, dragging them from her face and glancing me over as I stumbled back in shock.
It was....human. An old human face with many scars on her neck and her face, her entire body littered with them, she showed me her hands and her neck, there were prominent holes, where all the needles dug into her.
"You're a....human." muttered Helen.
"Yes...a long time ago I was captured and taken here by a local crime lord. I began to work my way up the ladder from prison after his death and my release. I became known as one of the most ruthless women in the entire galaxy, these scars are a reminder of the time I was used as his blood bank, a reminder of the time that I had under his cruel reign. I resigned myself to the darkness but swearing only one shred of me to the light, I would save any human girl I found, to spare her from the terrible fate. To do that I needed to gain power, I only got as far as controlling a quarter of the sector, Kaiso was still too powerful. Once I heard you were captured I bided my time until Jumo sent his rescue team, I knew that you would fail from the moment that I heard that Jumo as only sending three soldiers, some of the best perhaps but simply soldiers. I counted on you getting grounded although I didn't know that the ship would malfunction at that point, I worried that you had perished in the explosion although that would have been a preferable fate to what would have happened. I made sure you came under my wing, made sure that he could protect you, made sure that you got a safe way out of this mess. When I heard that Jumo had somehow reclaimed you I had to send my men after you, he would be too valuable for you to kill so I could risk a head-on attack. Now that you're safe...well I suppose I should send you on your way. You shall come under no further harm, the secret of human blood only runs in this sector and since I now control it...well you're safe, as safe as you possibly can be in this galaxy of course." she laughed.
"And my blood sample?" asked Helen.
"If I had the resources I would have done it myself but i've grown too old and the blood had become flawed, the quality wasn't there. I needed a fresh human, a young woman such as yourself, only then would I have what was necessary. I didn't have the resources to make the long trip to Earth so I had to wait, knowing that they would be sending their men to fetch a human. The trip is long and arduous, only a small fraction of ships make it back with a live human. The specimen usually dies of disease or the ship is usually hit by an asteroid or solar flare. Luckily though, you were one of the only ones to come back successfully." said Tursia, it all began to fit into place.
"Why would you have sent her with me? Why not keep her here?" I asked.
"I know how Jzarians are with their mates. I sensed it when I saw the two of you, I knew that you had to return to Jzar. Both Kaiso and Jumo would have attacked me should she have been here, I would not have been able to hold them both off even with the fortune I have amassed." Tursia said.
"So you...orchestrated all of this. You planned all of this to save me." said Helen.
"That's right." said Tursia with a smile, her head bobbing slightly as Helen rests her face in her hands and sobbed before opening them up and gripping Tursia.
I could feel the air get a bit warmer, my back quivering at the recognition that these two, these two humans that must have missed their homeworld so much. They finally found one another and were happy as could be, the tears well in Helen's eyes and her bottom lip quivers while their embrace tightens. I felt so happy for my mate, happy that she had been saved and been under the watchful eye of one of her own.
"Thank you, thank you!" whimpered Helen as she leaned in, wrapping her arms around her fellow human while Tursia stroked her back.
"It's alright dear, it's alright." she said.
They stay there for a while before separating, Helen shoots me a look and I nodded. We sit there for a while and I listen to them chatter away about life back on Earth. The subjects range from the food they once consumed to the boys they once fancied, all remnants of a world far from here that they could never reach again unless they had plenty of gusto and heart, they would never see it again.
"You've never thought about returning?" asked Helen.
"No, never, not once have I even given it some semblance of value. You still can, there's nothing there for me but old memories, i'm much more content here, I would be returning to a world I didn't know anymore. I have been gone nearly 50 years." said Tursia.
"I....I don't know if I want to return anymore. I have something here for me, now, something more beautiful than anything I had back home." said Helen as she tightened her grip on my hand and I nodded.
"We'll be returning to Jzar, she'll be my mate. Hopefully there I can find something to do that doesn't involve working for mob bosses." I muttered.
"Any chance you might reconsider? I might need a good soldier such as yourself on my team." said Tursia, I shook my head.
"She's taught me to hope for more than I ever thought I could. I'm going after my dream, i'm joining the military back home, i'm tired from running from what I want." I muttered, Tursia shut her old eyes and gets to her feet, slipping her rags and goggles back on.
"Do you two need anything before you go? I'd be happy to help one of my own." said Tursia and I gazed at the set of keys on my pocket. The ship that I had taken was marked as having landed in an alleyway not too far from her. I shake my head.
"No that'll be all. We'll be fine by ourselves. Say your goodbyes Helen, we're leaving soon." I muttered and get to my feet, clasping my hand around my chest and muttering as I stand there and watch Helen rise.
"Thank you Tursia, I really do mean it." said Helen.
"Oh don't worry about it. Live long and happily, that's all I ask of you." said Tursia, Helen nods and walked away slowly, nodding to herself, the tears welling in her eyes as I guide her out the door and look back for a brief moment at Tursia who merely flicks her wrist.
We were safe.

I could scarcely believe it all. In a matter of 24 hours we managed to survive assaulting an infamous crime lord, being hunted down by his soldiers, rescuing her from prison, all of these dangers that we somehow made it out of unscathed. Now I was sitting across from my mate while she munched on her meal and smiled at me, she was content, she finally felt at ease after we had disposed of Jumo.
"I don't know how you survived all that way. Must have hurt." said Helen.
"Oh trust me it did, bastard nearly blew a hole into my heart." I remarked.
"What now? We're resuming course for Jzar?" she asked.
"Yes, yes we are. I'm going home after all this time, seems like a distant memory to be honest." I said to her and she stroked my hand.
"It's going to be fine, we're going to be fine. If we made it out of this mess imagine what else we can survive." she said and I nodded.
"I know, I know we will. I'm just so happy that you're still here with me after all of this. I would have thought something so frail would have perished." I teased.
"I' not so frail you brute." she said and I get to my feet.
"Well time to find out." I muttered.
I grip her hands and lift her up, enclosing her in a grasp and a kiss as I slipped my tongue against her's and she moaned. I feel my lips rushing over her as her blond hair rubbed my cheeks. My chest was still sore but screw it, I hadn't seen my mate in nearly a week of travel and I would be damned if I didn't get the chance to love her. I hold her hips and sway with her as her eyes locked with mine and I pressed her against the counter.
"I love you." she said, the s
hip roaring in the background as we rocket past Camini.
"I love you too. God I love you so much, my mate." I said and continued to kiss her several times while running my lip hands over her chest.
I manage to drag her jumpsuit off to reveal her breasts. I could tell that she was shocked that we were doing this so soon after liftoff but I could tell that she appreciates my enthusiasm and that she was quite excited as well. I run my palm along the curve of her breasts and her hips, her ample flesh, and curves contorting around my fingertips.
"I love you." I said once more.
"Take me, take your curvy human mate." she said.
I kissed her again and massaged her breasts this time, after a few moments of doing that I run my lips down to her mounds and pecked her chest. I slipped my tongue over each of her nipples, her massive breasts shaking against my lips before I captured the right one in my mouth while rubbing the left with my hand.
"Yes, oh just like that." she said.
"Moan for me. Tell me that you belong to me." I said and gently bit on her nipple, my fang rubbing her pink nub of flesh while her back continue to arch and she nearly screamed. Her breasts continue to quiver while her eyes rolled back and she bites her lip.
"Oh god." she whimpers.
I kiss each of her mounds a couple of times before finding my way down to her crotch. I slipped my tongue deep inside of her soaking wet folds and make a mess of her. She nearly collapsed and her knees grow weak as her face flushed up and he cried out. I can feel her hands quivering while she wrapped her fingers around the back of my head and gathered up bundles of my hair, nearly collapsing while I dug my tongue deeper and deeper. I target all the right spots, hitting her nerve endings and striking her cervix with the tip of my tongue as the girth stretches her out and I rubbed her slickest spots.
"Fuck yes, oh don't stop. Please don't stop." she said.
She attempts to sandwich my muscular form in between her legs but it is of no use. I was so much more massive than her, I spread her legs and lift them over my shoulders without great effort while syncing my tongue deeper and deeper. I feel my tongue sliding over her, whipping along every special spot inside of her while he cried out. I keep my right hand on her thigh while I reached with my left and rolled her clit under my finger. I rubbed it over and over again, darting it under my fingertip while she whimpered and shakes, I tug on it gently and she nearly screams.
