Professionals with Benefits: A Bad Boy Office Romance

“I think I’ll have my dessert first,” I murmured.
Then, as I crashed my lips against hers, the only thing I thought about was how it had been way too long.
And how I wouldn’t wait another two weeks before feeling her squirming body against mine ever again.

I fisted his hair as his hands spread my legs farther apart. I was naked and bared for him. And I loved it. He sucked on my lower lip, then lapped at the roof of my mouth while his hands held my knees open. I felt myself dripping down my ass crack, ready to accept anything he was willing to offer me. My hands threaded through his hair and stroked through his luscious black locks he always had swooped back from his angular face.
His teeth raked down my neck. His tongue traced my pulse point as my heart raced. I panted as he kissed down my chest, then wrapped his lips around my nipples and coaxed them to painful peaks. I rolled against him. I heard him ripping at his belt and kicking off his shoes. He picked me up as our lips crashed together again, and he carried me away from the kitchen island.
My ass touched down onto my table, and he pulled up a seat, his eyes staring at my wetness.
He glowered. “Open wide, sweet girl.”
I parted my legs for him as his eyes darkened. He was bare from the hips down. His manhood hung thickly between his legs, leaking to the floor as his hand pressed into my chest. He lowered me down onto the table before tossing my legs over his shoulders. I felt his breath against my flesh. I whimpered for him. Yearned for him. Silently begged him to lick at my slit.
“Tell me what you want,” he breathed.
His tongue parted my folds just enough to hover over my clit.
“You,” I choked out.
“What do you want me to do?” he murmured.
He lapped my clit softly, causing me to arch my back.
“I want you to devour me, Danny. Please.”
“Oh, I love it when you beg, Layla.”
He dove into me. His hands fisted my hips, drawing me closer to him. His stubble raked against my outer lips while his hands massaged my skin. My thighs clamped around him, burying him between my legs as he flicked my clit, stroked it with his tongue, and pressed deeply into it as my legs locked out. He was so good. Too good. I never could last long with him. I tried to stave it off. I didn’t want him to move from that spot. But it was so good, and I ground too hard against his face, and I lost myself too quickly in the way his dexterous tongue wrapped around my clit.
The way his lips sucked my clit between his teeth.
“Danny!”
He growled. “That’s it.”
My back arched and my insides fluttered. My hands curled around the edges of the table as he hung on for the ride. I bucked wildly against his face. I felt his tongue being held out for my pleasure as I rolled against it. Colors sizzled and died in my vision as my juices dripped down my ass, coating the table we were supposed to have dinner on.
Danny stood up as I collapsed to the table. I felt his entire length slicking itself between my folds. It was dripping for me, ready to be inside me, and I was ready to have him there. He eased himself in, inch by inch. I didn’t try to conceal my groans. I wrapped my legs around his waist and felt him pulsating against my walls. Ready to explode without even moving.
Then, I opened my eyes.
I watched him while he looked down at our connection. He fucked me, my tits bouncing against my body as his face contorted in all the ways I adored. I dug my heels into his back. I felt my toes curling in my shoes. His dick was thick, brimming with come as it throbbed against my walls. I rose up, wrapped my arm around his neck, and brought his lips back to mine. I licked myself off him as he pounded into me, my legs locked at my ankles to hold him closely.
“I don’t want you this way anymore.”
His hand fisted my hair and ripped my lips back. I wanted to keep kissing him. To keep our connection just a little while longer. He slid out of me, and I felt each inch leaving my body. I whimpered as he pulled me from the table. He spun me around and bent me over, pressing my cheek into the table. I reached back and wrapped my hand around his wrist. I felt him slip his dick back into my body, filling me all the way up.
His hand slipped into mine, and our fingers threaded together, his body taking the time to relish the moment.
“You’re so beautiful, Layla,” Daniel said.
I shivered at his words. He’d never called me that before.
“Not as beautiful as you,” I whispered.
He drew back and slammed in, rocketing my pleasure to heights I’d never imagined. Time after time, he pounded into me. And each time, his balls smacked my clit. Juices dripped down his balls and soaked his shaft. The smell of dinner was taken over by the smell of us. His sweat. My essence. His deodorant. The steaks I had cooked. Dinner was forgotten about as he fisted my hair and drew me up, fucked me until I cried out his name, then fucked me until I couldn’t make a sound.
“I think you’re ready.” He grunted.
And then, his hips stuttered.
He fell to my back. His teeth sank into my shoulder like they had so many times before. Daniel never finished facing me. Always behind me. Always with his teeth in my shoulder. I pressed back into him. I felt his thickness pulse before shooting threads of himself into my body. I gasped as my body clinched and milked him, as my pleasure blinded me and my ecstasy choked off my ability to speak.
He collapsed against me, his dick in my body and his clothed chest pressed to my back. Daniel kissed the teeth marks he’d left behind before sliding his hands up my arms, finding my hands with his.
And for another first time, he held me after one of our encounters.

Daniel
My office door swung open, and I whipped my head up from my paperwork. I had fifteen minutes before the day ended. What in the world could warrant someone slamming my damn door open? But when I watched my brother, Drew, stumble in with a pale look on his face, I knew something wasn’t right.
I stood from my seat. “Drew. What’s wrong?”
“I’ve made a big mistake, Dan. I’m so fucking sorry,” he said.
“Drew. Take a breath. What’s going on?”
I watched my brother close my door quickly before he drew in a deep breath. I saw him shaking, even from across my office. I set my pen down and strolled around, making my way for my brother. I was used to Drew being in trouble. He had always been reckless in his pursuit of, well, everything—usually failed business ideas that sank him into debt followed by reckless ventures to secure the money to pay off that debt. I walked over to him and took his arm. I led his shaking body to the seat in front of my desk.
Then, I cocked my hip up onto the edge of my desk and waited for him to speak.
“I’m so sorry,” Drew whispered.
“What’s happened?” I asked.
“I made some bets with some bad guys, Dan.”
“Your bookie’s after you again?”
“I didn’t think I would lose. It was a guaranteed thing. I mean, I’m in the hole almost one hundred thousand dollars from my website business.”
“You mean the one where you were selling ridiculous domain names at sky-high prices you purchased off cheap-as-dirt domain sites?” I asked.
“Everyone does it! It was easy money, Dan.”
“Apparently, not easy enough,” I said.
“Look, I just…”
My brother sighed before raking his hands through his hair. I watched and waited for him to gather his words, but I had very little patience with him at this point. When my father announced he was handing the company over to me and not Drew, my brother got very bitter. Granted, no one expected anything less. I was the oldest. I was the only one interested in the business. Drew always boasted that he had a “creative mind that couldn’t be harnessed at a desk,” then got pissed off when Dad appointed me as the new CEO when he retired. My brother had always been hot and cold. He always saw
what my father did as “easy money” and felt that he could build his own business at the drop of a hat to become successful “like our father had.”
Except that wasn’t how it worked at all.
“Have you been drinking?” I asked.
“Really, Dan?” Drew asked.
“What? It’s a viable question.”
“I’ve been sober for two months.”
“And people fall off the wagon all the time. I just wanted to make sure you were drunk when making these bets with your bookie.”
“I didn’t make them with my bookie,” he said.
I narrowed my eyes. “Then who did you make them with?”
“I mean, I’m not sure honestly. The man I made the bet with three months ago said he was filling in for my bookie. I didn’t give it a second thought.”
“Three months ago. You mean, when you weren’t sober,” I said.
“Dan.”
“Drew.”
“I’m in a lot of trouble here,” he said.
“I can hear that and you haven’t even discussed the issue yet,” I said.
“I made a series of bets three months ago that I knew wouldn’t go wrong.”
“With the bookie who said he was filling in for yours.”
“Yeah. I doubled down. Five hundred thousand dollars on a couple of games I knew would be won. The odds were beyond in my favor, Dan. It would give me enough money to pay off my debt and start up this new idea that came to me a little while back,” he said.
“Great. So, you doubled down, lost, and now you’re in the hole… what?”
Drew looked up at me with sunken eyes.
“One point three million,” he said.
I almost swallowed my tongue. “Say that number again?”
“I made the bets, and I couldn’t pay them, Dan. I know it was dumb, but I didn’t know what else to do.”
“Get a job! Like the rest of us!”
“You mean like the fortune you were handed?” he exclaimed.
“This isn’t even about me getting the company anymore. This is about you being reckless and not owning up to your responsibilities. What do you expect me to do? Dip into company funds to bail your ass out?” I asked.
“No, but we have to do something, Dan. They don’t just want the money,” he said.
“What does that mean?”
My brother sniffled as his eyes watered.
“They want me, too,” he choked out.
I cupped my hand over my mouth as my mind raced. Shit. My brother was in a load of trouble, and he didn’t even know who the hell he’d pissed off.
To say I was angry would have been an understatement.
“Why didn’t you come to me sooner?” I asked.
“Like when?” Drew asked.
“Like the fucking second you lost the bet so the interest wouldn’t have accrued?”
“You call wanting me an interest charge?”
“If you haven’t paid for three months and got in with some shady people? Yes!”
“I need help out of this.”
“You need more help than I can give you, but we’ll figure this out. Okay?” I asked.
“Thank you, Dan. I’m so fucking sorry. Thank you so much,” he said.
“Don’t thank me yet. Because you might not like how I decide to go about this. I can’t keep feeding you money to bail your ass out of these issues you keep having. But for now, hide out in the building until I can get work wrapped up. Then, you can come stay at my penthouse for a while.”
Drew launched out of his chair and threw his arms around me. I hugged my brother, but I was still upset with him. I was tired of bailing him out all the time. Tired of my mother guilt-tripping me into it and tired of my father ignoring the problems my little brother had.
I wasn’t sure what any of this meant, but one thing was for certain. This was the last time I bailed my brother out of anything. I had a company to run.
I couldn’t be expected to babysit any longer.

Layla
I was sitting at the desk that had been assigned to me when I first started working for Living Sun. I didn’t use it all the time, but if I had work I didn’t want to take home, I came into the building around three and stayed late. It enabled me to get things done and slip it under Daniel’s door instead of taking it home and making it a habit of doing work in bed. I scribbled down numbers and checked things off my list. I audited the departments for any discrepancies to make sure no company embezzlement was happening. Everything looked fine, and just as I gathered up the first round of audits, I noticed a light emanating from underneath Daniel’s office door.
Had he stayed late?
I checked the clock. It was almost eight. I made my way to his office and knocked on the door, then heard his gruff voice tell me to come in. I slowly opened it and found him hunched over his desk, with a tight furrow in his brow that told me something was wrong.
“Hey there,” I said.
Daniel’s head whipped up. “Layla. What are you doing here so late?”
“I could have asked you the same thing?”
His eyes fell to the folders in my hand. “The audits?”
“The first round of them. Got two more rounds. Might knock another one out tonight.”
“You should go home and get some rest.”
“Why haven’t you yet?” I asked.
He held out his hand for the folders, and I walked them over, but he didn’t answer my question. I passed them off, and he set them off to the side, then buried his face back into his work. I wasn’t ready to leave, though. No matter how good the sex was, it was kind of nice, talking to him without the pretext of sex.
“Are you all right?” I asked.
Daniel sighed, cluing me into the fact that I’d touched a nerve.
“Just my brother,” he mumbled.
“Something wrong?” I asked.
“He’s just in trouble. Like always. And I’m expected by my family to do something about it.”
“Guess it’s a good thing I’m an only child, then.”
I smiled, hoping he caught the joke. But instead, it flew by him at lightning speed. The smile faded from my face, and he didn’t add anything to it, just kept his statements vague and removed.
“You know, I used to have a friend in college I had to bail out all the time,” I said.
Daniel slowly turned his gaze to look at me with that stoic businessman stare of his.
“Just saying that, you know, I kind of get it. Having to help when you don’t really want to. If you need any help, or if there’s anything I can do, just let me know. Okay?” I asked.
“You can go home, Layla. It’s late, and you need your sleep,” he said.
“Are you sure you don’t want me to stay? Sometimes silent company helps me when I’m not doing all right. You know, just someone to sit with you. I could bring my audits in here or something.”
“I’m fine. Make sure to lock your office up tight if you aren’t going to take those audits with you,” he said.
I was disappointed at his nonchalant dismissal of me, but I finally took the hint. I made my way out of his office and locked up the unfinished audits in my desk. Then, as I made my way to my car, I texted Tasha. I wanted a drink. I wanted to talk with someone. I wasn’t ready to go back to my empty apartment and crash in my empty bed and be reminded of how empty my life was at times.
Plus, I had yet to fill Tasha in on my fun little experience with Daniel the other night.
Thank goodness she agreed to meet me for drinks.
“So, how did it go?” she asked as she sipped her cocktail.
“You aren’t going to even wait for our drinks to come?” I asked.
“Girl, I stood butt-ass naked in the middle of my living room last night when my boo came home. And he walked right by me and collapsed into bed.”
“What the ever-loving hell, Tasha?”
“I don’t know. I’m dying over here. I know he d
oesn’t mean it, but I just… ugh! Fill me in on all the details, and don’t leave a single thing out.”
“Well, let’s just say Daniel wanted dessert before dinner,” I said, smiling.
“Oh, yes girl! What outfit did you wear? Oh! Was it that little red number you have? I’m telling you, that dress is dead sexy on you, no matter how much you hate it,” she said.
“Actually, I was cooking when he got there.”
“Oh, a man who likes a woman in an apron. Nice.”
“Nothing but an apron,” I said.
“Wait, what?” she asked.
“Well, heels. I was also wearing heels. But that was it.”
Tasha’s jaw dropped open. “You pulled the skimpy housewife routine on him!”
“Oh, I certainly did. And it worked wonders. He hoisted me up onto that kitchen island, ripped that apron off me, and kissed me with a fury I hadn’t felt in days.”
“Ooo. That’s good stuff right there,” she said.
“He laid me down on that table before bending me over it, if you know what I mean.”
“Oh, I really do.”
“And that was just the pregame, Tasha. We took our dinner into my bedroom, ate in bed, then burned off our dinner with a nice mattress workout. He pinned me down, and I didn’t do a damn thing. I couldn’t even if I had wanted to!”
“Layla! Let me live through you!”
“Now, what you need to do is get that boyfriend of yours on the phone with me. It’s time I talked some sense into him,” I said.
“I really wish you would. I know he’s stressed and all with work. Tired beyond all belief. But I’ll be damned if my toys aren’t as good as they used to be,” she said.
“You’re in a relationship. This shouldn’t be an issue. At all. It shouldn’t be easier for a single woman to get laid than a woman who’s in a committed relationship.”
“Preach it, Layla. And I’m damn tired of it.”
Even as Tasha vented about her woes, Layla was still envious of her. Envious of the fact that Tasha had someone she could come home to, someone who came home to her and fell asleep next to her, even if he wasn’t giving her the sex she wanted. Layla had no idea what that felt like, and after her encounter with Daniel in his office, she wondered if she ever would. Maybe she wasn’t a woman built for relationships.
