Jenna placed her hand on my chest and shoved me backwards, knocking me backwards. Just as I was about to fall back, I dropped the phone and pulled her down on me. Her blonde hair tickled my face as my arms circled around her waist.

  “What are you doing?”

“What I’ve been wanting to do ever since you put this torture device on your body. This damn dress drives me crazy.”

  “Col—”

Grabbing her by the back of the neck, I pushed her head down and kissed her.

“Hey man, you coming with me?” Javier asked, snapping his fingers in my face.

  “To?”

  “Lunch of course.”

  “Yeah.”

“So, this girl of yours—is she coming back to see you?”

  I grinned, “She is.”

“And the other guy you mentioned, is he going to be a problem?”

“No.” I pursed my lips, “I’ve already taken care of that.”

I’d already talked to Benjamin about Tommy. He agreed something had to be done about the douche. Not only that, but Tommy was psychotic. Tommy had been in love and obsessed with Jenna since day one. I only found out about the crazy Tommy a few days ago. Apparently, he was the gossip between the guards around here.

After lunch, I decided I would write Jenna a poem for the next time I sent her something.

  Dear Jenna,

This is from my heart to yours:

  We met by chance

  Neither looking for romance.

  Both struggling with our demons

  You needed me

  I needed you

You became my rock and I became yours

We instantly collided in a drunken haze

Both just needing to forget the pain

It wasn’t supposed to be like this

What used to be a little bit of fun turned into something more

  A love I didn’t deserve

A love you were never searching for

But now that I have you

  I’m never letting go

I’ll be your sun if you’ll be my flower

  I love you baby

I love you so damn much

I’m counting down the days until you say those three little words to me

  I forgive you

  I love you

  I’m yours forever

Memories plague my dreams and consume my thoughts. They can eat at your soul and tear you apart. That’s been my life for the past few months since Colton got locked away. And to top that off, Tommy seems to get more possessive over me. He and I would never be one. He knows that, but doesn’t want to believe it.

“Jenna?” Chloe asked, furrowing her eyebrows. “Where are you going?”

“I need to go down to the shop. Make sure Amber knows what she’s doing.”

“Relax, she’s fine. She’s got Jeff down there to help her.”

“That’s what I’m worried about. What if—”

“Please, Jenna. They’ll be just fine. Benjamin picked up pizza for dinner. We’d like it if you joined us.”

“I—you don’t understand. I’m literally suffocating here. And, Tommy—”

“Jenna, I think it would be best if you stay away from Tommy for a while. He’s—a little off in the head.”

  “What do you mean?”

“I think he’s obsessed with you.”

  I laughed, but Chloe didn’t. “Surely he’s not—oh, shit.”

  “What?”

“It’s nothing.” I dismissed her, but she grabbed my arm.

  “Tell me.”

“It’s just that Tommy came out of nowhere—he always does. At the church. Benjamin’s front porch. It’s like he’s everywhere.”

“Jenna, how long has this been happening?”

  “Ever since Colton got arrested.”

“Okay, it’s settled. You’re staying with us until I can talk to Benjamin. If you leave, Benjamin and I will go with you.”

“What’s going on, babe?” Benjamin asked, wrapping his arms around her waist.

“Tommy.” She gulped, “I think he’s obsessed with Jenna.”

Benjamin clenched his jaw and narrowed his eyes. Right at me. “I think we need to talk. All of us.”

Benjamin paced the floor taking deep breaths as he ran his hand through his hair. “I don’t think Tommy is well. He—he was released from a mental hospital. That’s where he disappeared to all those years.”

“And you’re just now telling us?!” Chloe hissed.

“When I found out, I assumed they were just rumors. If I had known, I would’ve done something sooner. You need to get a restraining order against him. Soon.”

“Oh God, I think I’m going to be sick.” I whispered, covering my mouth.

I ran to the kitchen and emptied my stomach. My head ached as the room started to spin. All the times I caught Tommy staring. How he kissed me. The way he watched my every move. I wiped my mouth with a napkin and took a deep breath.

“Tommy—he tried to get me to leave with him. He wanted me to go to his cabin.”

“Okay.” Benjamin sighed, “I don’t think you need to be anywhere near him.”

“Okay. I think I need to go lie down for a while.”

“Aren’t you going to eat?” Benjamin frowned.

“I promise I will later when my stomach is settled.”

When I entered my room, I closed the door and sighed. Pressing my head against the door, I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.

Colton nipped at my neck and whispered, “I missed you so much.”

  “Colton, please.”

  “Please what, babe?”

  “I want—I need you.”

Colton flipped me over on my back, trailing kisses along my collarbone and groaned. “Fuck, you really know how to get me worked up. Do you feel that?”

  “Colton, take me.”

Colton ran his hands down my chest and rested his hands on my hips. My hands reached down and pulled down his shorts, wrapping my hand around his cock. He was hard. Throbbing. Needed me to touch him as bad as I wanted him to touch me.

“You’re so sexy when you beg, babe.”

In one swift movement, he ripped my panties off and thrust into me. I knew he was bad for me, but I couldn’t help it—I craved him. More than ever. I was falling hard for Colton Davenport.

  I loved him.

And, my heart sunk knowing he probably didn’t feel the same way.

I opened my eyes and yawned, waking from my nap. I sat up and wiped my eyes as I heard a soft knock. “Jenna, are you awake? I brought you some leftover pizza.”

I opened the door and smiled at Chloe. “I was just about to come get some food.”

“Benjamin and I are going to bed. I just wanted to bring you something to eat. You’re welcome to watch television if you’d like.”

“Thank you. I think I’m just going to eat and go back to bed. Thank you for the offer, though.”

“Good night, Jenna. Tomorrow we’re going to visit Colton.”

  “I want to come.”

  “Of course.”

I ate the pizza and tossed the paper plate in the trash. Walking across the room, I looked out the window. A dark figure stood at the edge of the yard, making a shiver go down my spine.

  Was it Tommy?

The person began to walk into the yard, making his way to the window. I quickly back away and ran out of the room. Running to the front door, I checked to make sure it was locked. After all I found out, I didn’t want to chance being alone with Tommy. Not when it was possible he had an obsession with me.

“What’s wrong?” Benjamin asked, making me let out a scream.

“There’s someone out there. I think it might be Tommy.” I whispered.

Benjamin gently led me to the sofa and sighed, “Stay here. I’ll go check it out.”

Benjamin turned on the porch light and peeked through the window.
“If he was out there, he’s gone now. Don’t worry. If he comes back, he’ll set off the alarms. You’re safe here, Jenna.”

  “Why are you helping me?”

“Because—I made a promise to Colton. I promised a friend I would look out for his girl.”

  “Is that the only reason?”

“Jenna, I can’t help but want to protect you. You’re like a sister to me.”

  “I—thank you, Benjamin.”

“You’re welcome. Now, get back to bed and get some rest. We’re visiting Colton tomorrow.”

  Chapter 10

  __________

  Colton

I chewed the inside of my cheek as the woman looked over my chart. She closed the file and sighed, “Colton Davenport, how are you?”

  “I’m okay.”

  “Just okay?”

“Yes. No. I don’t know how to feel.”

  “What’s going on with you?”

  “This girl—she’s having my baby.”

“And who is she to you?”

“My girlfriend.” I paused, “Well, now my ex-girlfriend. I don’t know how to explain it.”

  “I get it. It’s complicated.”

“I used to date her before I got locked up. She was my best friend—my lover and the girl I love.”

“And has she visited you since then?”

“Yes. She came with my sister and future brother-in-law.”

“I see. Tell me, do you feel remorse for hurting her?” She asked.

“Every day. If I could go back in time, I would change it. I wouldn’t become the monster my father made me to be.”

“Colton, I’m not going to say it’s going to be easy, because it’s not. Some days will be hard. Some days will be easy, but you can’t let the guilt eat you alive. Each day that goes by will get a little easier. Just take one day at a time.”

“That’s exactly what Jenna said.” I smiled.

  “And, what about your father?”

“I hate that he turned me into a puppet. I hate that he drove me to be a beast—that he took the only thing I loved and pushed her away.”

The woman smiled and said, “Okay, that’s enough for today. Anytime you need to talk, I’m here. Just ask for Dr. Grace Russo. I want you to do something for me. Think about everything you did and write a paragraph of how you truly feel about your father. Let all that bottled-up anger out and release it.”

I nodded and stepped out of the room. Making my way to the cafeteria, I spotted Javier and his friends. I nodded as I made my way across the cafeteria to grab breakfast. I grabbed a juice and a couple pieces of toast and joined Javier’s group.

  “Colton, where’ve you been?”

“I had my first meeting with Dr. Russo.”

  “Oh?”

  “Yeah, it was—”

“Weird? You’ll get used to her. She’s a good woman.”

“Don’t lie to the man, Javier.” his friend elbowed him, “This sneaky fucker has been hittin’ that pussy.”

“Don’t fucking talk about her like that!” Javier growled, clenching his fists.

“Woah, calm down. I’m just teasing you.”

“Best to keep her out of your thoughts, Carlos.” Javier warned.

I finished eating and raised a brow when the group left, leaving just me and Javier. “So, is it true?”

“Shh,” he pressed his finger to his lips, “I have.”

  “Damn, man. Isn’t that forbidden?”

“Yep.” He said, grinning wickedly. “She loves it, though.”

  “Aren’t there cameras?”

“There were, inside her office. Not anymore.”

“Damn, wished I could get my visits from Jenna in there.” I muttered under my breath.

“She coming to see you today?”

“She is.” I smiled, knowing I’d get to see her again.

  ___

I sat at the table and waited for Jenna’s arrival. I sucked in a breath as I watched her walk into the room. There she was in all her glory. She was gorgeous—her belly slightly swelled. Jenna glowed just like sunflower.

I breathed out as she took a seat in front of me. “Jenna, my love, you look absolutely ravishing.”

  “Thank you.”

  “No Benjamin and Chloe?”

“I wanted it to be just us.” She whispered.

Jenna leaned forwards, taking me by the hands. My cock swelled feeling her touch. I wished I could take her somewhere and make love to her. Take in every inch of her body with my mouth.

“I’ve missed you so much. I dream about you every night.” I whispered huskily to her.

  “What do you dream about?”

“I dream a little about the past, but mostly—I dream of making love to you.”

“And, where do you make love to me?”

“In your house, the church, our special place. You name it and I’ve taken you there.”

“Colton, is it bad I wished you could fuck me. Right here. Right now.”

“No, it’s not. That’s exactly what I want to do with you right now. Can you do something for me? You don’t have to, but—”

  “What?”

I leaned in closer and whispered, “I want you to slide your hand between your legs and slip your finger inside that sweet pussy. I need to taste you.”

Jenna’s eyes clouded over and darkened as she slid her hand underneath the table. She parted her lips as she slid her finger inside, letting out a silent moan. Bringing her hand from beneath the table, she raised her finger to my mouth. I gently took her wrist and took it in my mouth. I sucked on her finger, tasting her sweetness. I pulled her finger out of my mouth and moaned, “Oh fuck, babe. Shit, I’ve missed your taste so much.”

“You’re going to make me want to get off when I get back home.”

“Do it and when you get done—I want you to write me in a letter how you touched yourself. I want to know every moan. Every gasp. Every time you call out my name as you fucked yourself.”

“I’m—okay, I will. What about you?”

“Sweetheart, I’ll return the favor and tell you how I stroked my cock as I read every word. Down the last one.”

She frowned as she looked up to the clock, “Times almost up.”

“Don’t be sad, love. Remember, I love you and I’ll be out in no time. Daddy will be home soon.”

She nodded, wiping away a stray tear. “I love you, too. I’ve always loved you.”

My life was slowly coming back together. Piece by piece. Soon, I’ll be coming home to my girl and this time—I won’t fuck it up. The only thing to do now is make sure Benjamin keeps Tommy away from her.

  Chapter 11

  __________

  Tommy

  Stupid fucking Benjamin.

  He’s ruining it all.

This was supposed to be my chance to make Jenna mine.

I stormed into my house and let out a frustrated breath. Everything was falling apart. Even with Colton behind bars, he was still being a pain in my ass. Always has been. I heard a car pull up, making me look out the window. Benjamin and Jeff were getting out with Chloe and Jenna.

“That baby growing inside her is supposed to be mine. Not Colton’s.” I snarled, banging my head on the window. “Mine!”

Some people may call me mad. Crazy—a complete madman. I’m really not crazy. I just know what I want. And, what I want is Jenna. I want her to be mine to lock up and hide only for me to see. She’s perfect for me. I just need to get her alone and make her see it.

“Soon, Jenna. Very, very, soon.” I whispered as I watched Benjamin, Jeff, Chloe, and Jenna get back into the car and leave.

  Chapter 12

  __________

  Jenna

I knew Tommy was strange, but obsessed with me? Benjamin and Jeff became my official bodyguards. Apparently, Chloe was protective of me too. I only wanted to go get my notebook. It was like my journal. I wrote personal things in it. Things I could never tell anyone. It was my dirty little s
ecret. I held it to my chest as we stepped back into Benjamin and Chloe’s home. All the memories me and Colton shared was bound in this notebook.
