Metal Mage 12

“Let’s hope not,” Kurna muttered. “Aloshi’s got a mean streak, and once she sets her sights on something, she doesn’t let up for anything. You’d be smart to …”

Kurna trailed off as he looked toward the train ahead, and I immediately knew what he was hearing.

My women screeched at the top of their lungs as they beat their fists against the sealed door of the car, and as soon as the brawny mage recognized their voices, he broke into a run.

“Mason, your women!” Kurna shouted over his shoulder. “Someone must be--”

  “Nope!”

I quickly caught the man by the sleeve, and I kept him rooted to the spot while I stared at the train car.

I’d been so caught up in the heat of the battle, I forgot I’d made a bold decision before I headed for Tellish, and now my stomach churned at the thought of what awaited me.

“Do not go over there,” I warned.

“Why not?” Kurna asked in confusion.

“Because whoever opens that door might get their face torn off.”

“What?” Kurna gasped, but as Aurora’s threats to bludgeon me came screeching from the car, the man narrowed his eyes. “What’s going on?”

I let out a long sigh. “I wish I could explain, but to be honest, it makes no sense to me. I’ve definitely crossed that fucking line again, though.”

“You crossed a line with your women?” Kurna said as he sent me an uneasy glance. “Shit. Nice knowing you.”

With that, the man clapped me on the shoulder and headed in the opposite direction, and I just nodded to myself before I slowly approached the train.

“I know you’re out there!” my half-elf roared. “Mason Flynt, open this door right this second or I’ll never, and I mean NEVER follow your rules again as long as I live!”

My insides had started to shrivel in fear, but I unsealed the metal, and as soon as I did, my women threw the door open.

What I found inside were my four gorgeous women half-dressed and blistering red with rage, and I wish I could have said I was more scared than turned on by the sight, but I wasn’t.

They were feisty, amped up, and unbridled in their fury, and letting them take all that out on me sounded fantastic right now. They probably wouldn’t even let me do my part. I’d just have to lay there and enjoy it all.

So, while my women exploded in a rant that vacillated between complaints and threats, I nodded patiently until I found an opportunity to get a word in. Then I held my arms out in front of me, and I left my inner wrists exposed since I’d read somewhere this was a good approach if an animal looked ready to eat you.

“You can chain me up again if you want,” I offered.

The women’s nails latched onto my arms before I could blink.

Then they dragged me into the car, forced me toward the bed, and chained me down, and even though my grin just made them madder, I left it there as Cayla straddled me and locked her hand around my throat.

“You are going to pay for that,” she growled.

I knew better than to smile and nod. So, I just nodded.

  Chapter 14

I never knew the sexual wrath of a woman could be so enjoyable, but as I stared at the ceiling of our sleeping quarters the next morning, I decided I needed to piss my women off more often.

Not only for the sake of having them all tear at me while they fucked my brains out, but also because the second they took those chains off, I was their personal god once more.

Now, all four of them were snuggled tight against me on either side, and not another word had been said about me locking them up for their own safety. I knew I’d only be able to skate by like this the one time, but I figured I had until the next battle to figure out a better plan.

In the meantime, I thought I handled the situation pretty well.

So, I sighed as I summoned my metal magic, and I opened a few windows in the car. Birds were chirping outside as dusty yellow light poured in, and the cool breeze smelled like the bakeries in Tellish were already back at work. There was still a residual waft of smoke here and there from the battle, but the calm of the morning made it hard to believe the attack took place at all.

I could hear most of the Defenders snoring heavily in their sleeping quarters now, and Bagneera was gabbing with the station master while a few mages tended to the horses next door.

Then Shoshanne snuggled closer, and she left a soft kiss on my chest.

“I love you,” the healer sighed.

I grinned. “I love you, too.”

“If I wasn’t already, I hope you got me pregnant last night.”

“I certainly tried,” I muttered, and the woman giggled.

“Stop talking like that,” Aurora grumbled against Shoshanne’s back. “You’re just gonna turn me on again, and my legs haven’t recovered yet.”

“Good morning to you, too,” I chuckled.

“Good morning to everyone,” Deya yawned, and the beautiful elf crawled over Cayla to lay herself out on her belly across all of us. “Feed me, please. I’m pregnant.”

“Mason, feed her,” Cayla mumbled. “She’s pregnant.”

My smile stretched from ear to ear as I looked down at Deya’s creamy ass, and I ran my palm from the back of her thigh to the subtle slope of her spine as she let out a contented sigh.

“I’ll feed you as soon as I answer the door,” I assured the elf as I heard footsteps slowing near our car.

“Three, two … one,” Deya mumbled.

Then a light tap came at the door, and I shifted the elf so she could take my spot in the bed. My women wrapped her in their arms as I tossed a sheet over them, and I scoured the floor for my pants before I headed to the door.

I probably looked like a car crash victim when I opened it, but Lady Emonie didn’t seem to mind in the slightest. She was powdered and coiffed in a yellow silk gown, and she held out a small brown box while she smiled up at me.

“Oh,” I said as I tried to straighten my hair. “Uh … good morning. Sorry, I just woke up.”

“That’s quite alright,” the dower woman assured me, and Cayla gasped as she sat up.

The princess’ hair was tousled in every direction as she clutched the sheet against her breasts, and she violently shook the others before she sprang from the bed and took the whole sheet with her. Shoshanne squeaked while she tried to cover her ample breasts with one arm and her ass with the other, but Aurora and Deya just sighed and shielded their nipples as they sat up.

“How are your people recovering?” Cayla inquired once she tucked herself under my arm, and even in nothing but a sheet with sex hair, she held herself like a royal.

“Very well, thank you,” Lady Emonie replied. “I only came to wish you all luck in your travels, and to bring some sustenance from my kitchens. I’m sure I owe you much more than this for your gallant efforts on behalf of Tellish, Defender Flynt, but--”

“Not at all,” Cayla answered for me. “Defending the lives of the innocent comes so naturally to Mason. I assure you nothing is owed, he is perfectly happy to do anything he can for you and your people, Lady Emonie. Right, Mason?”

  I smirked. “I am.”

“Well, I hope you’ll accept some form of acknowledgement,” the dower woman tried. “If it would please you, I’d like to send one of my personal merchants to Falmount in order to set up a shop there. You may not be aware, but I supply only two dressmakers with my silk. After seeing how much your lovely ladies improve my work, though, it seems a shame they don’t have better access to the finery they might desire.”

Cayla was incapable of responding this time, and her nails dug into my back as she remained stuck in a wide-eyed stare.

“I’d be honored,” I replied. “Anything that pleases my women can only improve Falmount in my opinion.”

“Then it’s settled,” Lady Emonie decided. “I hope you’ll all travel this way again soon. I’ve only just begun to get to know you all better, and I will need to get much better acquainted with Defe
nder Solana if she is to be the muse for my future endeavors.”

The dower woman peeked her head inside the door, and Aurora was beet red as she offered a grateful bow with both hands cupping her breasts.

Lady Emonie smiled and returned the gesture without batting an eye, and then she took a last admiring glance at my bare chest before she pulled out her fan and bid us all a good morning.

Cayla was still frozen in shock as I watched the noblewoman return to the platform, but when I closed the door, she dropped her sheet.

“Did that just happen?” the princess asked.

“Yes,” I chuckled. “Here, have a muffin.”

“Thank you,” Cayla mumbled, and she headed back to bed without taking one.

“Wow, Mason,” Shoshanne said as she cocked a brow. “You must have been extremely gallant last night to receive a private visit from Lady Emonie. She didn’t even bring her guard along.”

“Yes, what a shame we missed the show, though,” Aurora mused. “I could have sworn I’m the woman who fights beside you no matter what, but I seem to recall--”

  “Muffin?” I cut in.

  “Yes, please!” Deya giggled.

I promptly delivered muffins to each of my women while Aurora narrowed her eyes, but after I smooshed her muffin against her lips a few times, the half-elf finally chuckled and took a bite.

  I nodded. “There we go.”

“I’m not done talking about this,” Aurora mumbled through her bite.

“Did I tell you I almost got abducted last night?” I announced.

All of my women stopped chewing, and I jumped at the opportunity to distract them for the next thirty minutes.

The train started up and made its way down the tracks while I told them in great detail about the battle against the Master’s mages, and they listened with wide eyes as I explained how I’d managed to identify the possessed mages through my element as well. Then I drew a bath for us, and I told them about my run in with Aloshi, her attack against the citizens and our ogre friends, and her ability to evade my bullets. I rambled on about all of my concerns with tracking the Master’s portals, too, and I finished up by steering the conversation back to the fine silk my women would be enjoying in Falmount from now on.

All the muffins were gone by this point while my women slowly lathered my body with soap, but as soon as I finished talking, Aurora shook her head.

“Mason, I can’t believe you went after a mage like Aloshi on your own,” she sighed. “You could have been taken from us forever. How could you keep us from protecting you like that?”

“We would have helped you take her down,” Cayla agreed.

“I would have slit her throat for treating you that way,” Deya muttered through gritted teeth.

“Okay, but,” I tried, “the point is that attack was intense. Even I almost didn’t make it out, so it’s a good thing I protected you the way I did.”

“No,” Shoshanne disagreed. “The point is you were alone when you should have had all of us there to help.”

“I don’t think you understand what I’m saying,” I sighed. “If you were all there, Aloshi could have gotten any one of you, and I’d have no choice but to dive into that portal if I could. All she’d have to do is drag just one of you away, and all bets are off. I don’t care what the Master would do with me once I made it into that fortress, it’d be worth it to make sure none of you were harmed. The way things went, though, she only had me to go after, and I caught on to her game before she trapped me. End of story.”

“We love you, too, Mason,” Cayla replied, “but we have to protect you, and for us to do that, you need to stop trying to keep us out of harm’s way. What don’t you understand about this?”

I blinked. “You guys hear yourselves when you talk, right?”

Aurora rolled her eyes as she ignored the question, and I just let my head drop back against the tub.

At least they weren’t furious anymore, though, and they took turns massaging my muscles while I watched them lather each other up for a while. It was astounding to me that this desire to protect each other apparently didn’t translate when it was coming from me, but it was kind of endearing. Even listening to them lecture me about all the ways they could have helped in that attack didn’t annoy me, but that might have been because they kept rubbing more suds on each other’s breasts while they did so.

Then I heard the distant cheers of our next stop approaching, and my women practically leapt out from the tub to get ready for another day of fanfare.

The Defenders were concentrating more on their duties today after the attack in Tellish, though, and I was glad to see them taking circumstances in stride even if the townsfolk weren’t. The mages asked Aurora several questions before she dismissed them to their posts, and they triple checked with me about their supply to be sure they wouldn’t go a single day without enough ammunition. I warned the generals about my encounter with Aloshi as well, and they agreed to take extra precautions when tracking the Master’s minions to their portals.

I already had a headache from all the crowds by the time lunch rolled around, and it turned out Stan’s little dragon hated the ruckus, too. So, I made the two of them their own metal cave under our bed, and I shoved a spare pillow down there so Solana could tuck herself under it if she got scared. Stan spent all of his time patting her metal head after that, but overall, the day was going as smoothly as I could have hoped.

I even found time to work on the AR-15 during an hour stretch between stops, and I’d just headed to the table to get started when Aurora got on her knees and reached for my belt.

  “Wait, what--”

“Get back to work,” the half-elf said with a devious grin.

Then I spent the rest of this leg of the trip trying to do anything productive while my women took turns swallowing my cock for me.

Apparently, the agreement they’d reached while I was busy watching Cayla get dressed yesterday was that each of them could have a five-minute interval with me, and they rotated who got to bring me to completion each round so everyone got a turn.

Personally, I couldn’t see how this helped with productivity because I fumbled with one part after another and had to start over on the hammer spring five times before I got the coil right.

Still, my women loved it, and Cayla was especially enthusiastic if I explained each part’s function to the other women while she worked.

I had the magazine catch, trigger guard, and bolt catch assemblies fully rigged when Kurna knocked at the door, but Cayla insisted on finishing me off before she’d let me stand up, so I asked the man to wait a moment while Cayla shoved my dick deep down her throat until I poured into her.

Then I stumbled on wobbly legs as I fixed my belt, and after I fumbled with the lock a bit, I found Kurna chuckling in approval on the other side of the door.

“I see you’re hard at work back here,” the brawny mage muttered, and my women giggled shamelessly at his phrasing.

“Building,” I slurred, and I cleared my throat. “Building stuff. Um. Weapons and things. What’s up?”

“Just making sure you know the village of Fraling’s up after this next stop in Yerich,” Kurna chuckled. “Then we should be into Rainard by sunset as long as things go well there. I’ve already let Bagneera know we’ll need at least thirty minutes since we have to take the Defenders about a mile before we hit Fraling, and she said she’d leave without us at forty minutes.”

“That should be enough time.” I shrugged. “We have three separate crews leaving from Rainard, though, so I’ll need you and Haragh to help load their ammunition as soon as we can. I don’t want them riding out too late at night in case more attacks take place. It seems like the Master’s been operating about four hours after sundown.”

“That would be best, then,” Kurna agreed.

“Mason, hurry up,” Deya called. “Aurora said I don’t get my turn if you take too long.”

Kurna flashed a toothy grin as my eyebrows sh
ot up.

“I’ll let you get back to your … work,” the brawny mage mumbled.

“I really am working,” I sighed, but I could tell he only half believed me based on the smirk he sent me before he closed the door.

By our next stop, I completed the trigger assembly and started on the safety, and Deya did get to have her turn, followed by Aurora, and then Shoshanne.

Unfortunately, the town of Yerich had half the population of Serin, though, and even the hour’s worth of blow jobs didn’t make up for the crowd. Part of me didn’t want to leave the train car when Bagneera brought us into the station, and I crinkled my brow as three bands blared at maximum volume to play three different songs at once.

Banners were flying, and signs were bobbing above the crowd to welcome me, but my women lost it when they saw what the presiding lord had in store.

He stood with his noble lady at his side while his smile showed how pleased he was with himself, and the ten servants beside him each had a different color fur shawl in their hands. Cayla didn’t even wait for me to escort her onto the platform once she saw two of the furs were black, and I let Deya drag me along with them as my Defenders hurried past as quickly as possible.

The mages were so determined to stay busy that I was left with nothing to do but smile and wave, but it wasn’t long before all those furs went straight to my women’s heads.

Deya blew kisses to the crowd while she snuggled a soft pink stole against her neck, and Cayla got everyone to arrange their gifts in a neat stack at the toes of her boots. Shoshanne kept her arm in mine while she toyed with the top buttons of my shirt, and when she “accidentally” undid a couple, I realized this had been why my women asked me to ditch the armor today.

They loved undoing those top two buttons. It was like a tick with them.

Aurora began striking all kinds of sultry poses after she realized I got even more screams if she did, and eventually, the half-elf was standing with her ass strategically tilted so the crowd could see straight through the gap between her thighs. She had a blood red hide haphazardly draped off one shoulder as she braced her hand against my chest, but when she started hitching her leg up to create a more feline silhouette, I couldn’t resist calling her out on it.
