“It’s Elliot.” And Elliot walked around to the driver’s side and extended his hand, and Taylor just looked down and then at Jay. Jay stood smiling with Elliot’s arms wrapped around his waist, and then Jay looked over to Taylor and put his finger in his mouth like a child.

But he wasn’t a child, it was probably a habit and it had carried over to many things, Payton thought, like when he wanted to be with a man. And from what Payton saw this time, Jay liked Elliot a lot.

“Do you remember the story you told me about your husband,” Jay said looking up at Taylor, “and how you knew from one picture that he was the one you were looking for all your life? Well I think I may have found that someone for me.”

Taylor glared at Elliot and said, “Go, but bring Jay back tomorrow all in one piece. He starts a new job on Monday at the company I work for.” He targeted Elliot with a steely glare.

Elliot looked away for a second, with an embarrassed chuckle. “I can guarantee you I’ll bring him back, but in one piece, I’m not so sure.” And he shrugged and scrubbed his teeth over his bottom lip, and then kissed Jay’s earlobe. Jay raised his hand and swatted his face away and giggled. Elliot glanced at Taylor not meeting his eyes once more.

Then Jay turned to look at Taylor and Payton and he moved his body closer to Elliot pushing his ass into Elliot’s waiting cock. And they paused watching Payton and Taylor move away from the Jeep before Elliot opened the door on the passenger side, and Jay scooted inside.

Payton glanced over to Elliot and Elliot said, “Yes. I’m sober now. Who couldn’t be with all this shit you and your husband stirred up?”

Payton tossed Elliot the keys and when he caught them, he rushed around and climbed in the driver’s seat and Jay leaned his shoulder into him as Elliot placed his foot on the brakes, hit a button, released his foot and took off into the foggy morning air.

Taylor glanced at Payton. “They seem to be having fun. Remember when we’d just met?”

“You talk like that was a long time ago,” Payton said as Taylor took his hand. “We’ve only been together over two years, and we’re fighting like we’ve been with each other fifty years. The way we’re going we might not make those fifty years.”

“I was hoping to make it through the night. My ambitions weren’t as great as yours. I just need you to give me a few minutes of your time. I don’t think that’s too much to ask for a man who adores you, and would do anything to get you back,” Taylor said.

  “We need to talk first.”

“But not here. Not on the street,” Taylor said.

Payton glanced around and the bars were closing in the downtown area, and they stood on a dark street across from the parking lot; the only good thing about that was the sidewalk was filled with men walking holding hands and headed for the same parking garage.

“I’ll go with you because I want to know more about that relationship between you and Jay.”

TAYLOR NOTICED THAT Payton hadn’t behaved like his old self—jealous and unreasonable. He had shown a little restraint but not much. But he liked when Payton was bothered when men found him attractive at a club, and that made their love making so much hotter.

And Payton needed to answer for Elliot, and where had he been after he left his mother’s.

  Chapter Twenty-Two

“WHEN ARE YOU GOING to tell me what’s going on between you and that boy?” And in the same breath Payton said, “And who does this place belong to anyway?” Payton glanced around after stepping off the elevator where it took him inside to the penthouse suite with its opulent marble floors and lavish crystal chandeliers lining the foyer.

Taylor smiled, and pulled Payton inside the wide expansive area with large modern paintings on the walls decorating the foyer on both sides. Payton stood patiently meeting Taylor’s gaze with Taylor sizing Payton up. The sexual hunger in Payton’s eyes left no doubt that he wanted Taylor, but how much?

Taylor skimmed his tongue across Payton’s lower lip and when Payton parted for him, Taylor angled his head to the side, slid in his tongue down his throat with a searing kiss. When Payton let out a moan into Taylor’s mouth, Taylor said, “Do you still want to talk?”

  Breathless, Payton said, “Now?”

And that’s when Taylor knew that he didn’t want to talk but to fuck. And Taylor felt relief because talking with Payton about everything could get out of hand the way it happened before if he said the wrong thing.

Yes, there was the make-up sex which was off the charts, but it left them with a gulf between them when Payton wanted to talk instead of making love, which had him brooding most of the time, and leaving Taylor frustrated.

For some reason Payton appeared to have his jealousy under control. Taylor saw it in his eyes, they were relaxed and not seething with anger when he talked. His brow on his handsome face didn’t furrow, and that lip didn’t curl to the right side as if he was waiting for Taylor to lie.

Taylor’s eyes followed Payton’s lips which were swollen and red whenever he got excited and as his eyes trailed to Payton’s groin. He couldn’t miss the hard bulging erection that Payton’s cargo shorts couldn’t hide.

Taylor stood in front of him. “You missed me, didn’t you, counselor? Tell me,” Taylor said placing his palm to Payton’s chest and feeling his heart strum against his hand as he pushed him against the wall with his powerful leg pressed between Payton’s, as he moved it forward up against Payton’s muscled thighs and then eased it down.

Payton’s eyes closed and his mouth opened when Taylor thrust his hips forward taking control. And a pleasurable moan from Payton escaped against Taylor’s lips. Taylor leaned in and sucked, and bit Payton’s bottom lip, and when Payton looked Taylor in the eyes and ran his tongue over where Taylor had just sucked, Taylor’s cock screamed for release.

Taylor knew that if he was to get his husband back, it would be because he took the initiative, since he had been the alpha in their relationship from the beginning.

Now it was up to him to make the advances because when he first met Payton and asked him to dinner, Taylor had been the one who wanted this relationship so bad that he couldn’t think. It was him who had seen a picture of Payton in the papers and had to have him at any cost.

Now it was time to pay up. If it meant for him to grovel and beg he would. Looking into Payton’s handsome sexy face Taylor remembered how all this got started. It was that one conversation with Payton and he didn’t hold back.

“JUST ABOUT NOW IF I was a conservative straight man, I would say it was a pleasure to meet you Mr. Bailey and see you in court. But I’m not a straight man. I’m gay and I’m saying that I want to take you back to my apartment and suck your cock. What do you have to say about that?”

Payton sat nervous at the table and excited at the same time. He reached for his napkin and it slid off his lap and when he leaned down to pick it up, he could see Taylor palming his length underneath the table.

“Does that make you nervous, Mr. Bailey? Or are you ready to come to my apartment and let’s take this conversation to the next level.”

“And what is that next level?”

“Where you let me fuck you and suck your cock whichever comes first.”

“What if I were to tell you that I’ve never been with a man in my life, and I wouldn’t know where to begin.”

“What if I were to tell you that you haven’t hit me in the face and walked out of here which means that you are considering my offer.”

“Do I look like a man who accepts dates with men I’ve just met?”

“No, but I know that if you take me up on my offer, then you will never regret being with me a day in your life. What do you say, counselor? Are you ready to live, or do you want to spend your life never having a satisfied orgasm, and wake up one day with a woman who will tell you no she doesn’t want to fuck you or love you anymore? With me I will fuck you and suck you whenever and wherever you desire, and you will never hear no come from my lips. And I will always love yo
u.”

PAYTON MOVED AWAY FROM Taylor if only to catch his breath and think. Now isn’t the time to overthink, he cautioned himself.

“Taylor, I’m leaving if you don’t tell me who owns this apartment. I know you have money, but you wouldn’t waste your money on something like this. This is a trophy home,” Payton said his eyes wandering around the foyer and to the large open room with the expensive sofas, tables, rugs and vase and paintings.

“Maxwell. The apartment belongs to Max,” Taylor said after being dragged from his thoughts. “He gave me a month to find you and bring you back to New York.”

Payton slanted his head to the right.

THIS MAN IS GORGEOUS, Taylor thought noticing the tan covering Payton’s face and legs. He wanted to see the rest of him and he couldn’t wait. Especially with that preppy looking pink shirt and shorts. Taylor had seen Payton too often in suits and naked. There was never anything in-between.

“I don’t think I want to go back with you.”

Taylor’s heart hammered in his chest and he closed his eyes for a second and then locked eyes with Payton. He wanted to hit something, toss that expensive crystal vase against the wall, but it would cost him his job if he damaged the place.

“What the fuck are you talking about? You aren’t satisfied that you made me look for you and I couldn’t work for thinking that you had gone out of my life. I promised you that I would be there for you, and be honest with you. I’ve been all of that, and now you tell me that you don’t want to be with me. Why? Why do you want to leave me?”

“I said that I didn’t know if I wanted to go back to New York. I quit my job. I might stay here or go home to live.”

  “In Oregon?”

“Yes, in Oregon,” Payton said. “What’s wrong with that?”

“And where do you expect me to be?”

“I don’t know. I’m planning on filing for divorce come Monday,” Payton said.

“So what is the point of you coming here with me?” Taylor said stepping away from Payton and walking down the long foyer with a large Miro painting decorating one wall and crossing the great living room to go out on the terrace.

“Did you come here just to see where I was staying and whether I was living with a man? I am. I’m living here with Jay, and he’s more company than you’ve been lately.”

Payton stared at Taylor. Taylor didn’t mean to say that, but it was too late and the way Payton was acting, he deserved it. Taylor was trying. Deep within his soul he was trying to get Payton back.

Taylor sat down on the sofa facing the terrace and crossed his arms in front of him. Then he stood and walked to get him a drink. Turning to Payton, “Do you want something?”

Payton stared at Taylor as he poured Scotch into a glass without ice and drank some.

He inhaled and took the glass with him as he sat down where he had before. “You didn’t believe me when I said I hadn’t had anyone since you left. Not that I didn’t have offers. Hell, Jay tried to get me to fuck him from the first night here.”

Payton’s face grew red and his eyes narrowed.

Did he want to hear that, Taylor thought, probably not, but fuck it. What do I have to lose? I’ve lost everything anyway.

“Why is he here?” Payton said.

“Because I invited him here to stay,” Taylor barked, in his take no prisoners’ attitude.

“To fuck him? You couldn’t wait for me, so you invited the first man who offered you his ass to live with you.”

Taylor stood and walked to Payton meeting him eye to eye. “It’s not that. You don’t understand. You’re a jealous fuck and you’re bringing me in guilty without hearing me,” Taylor said. He stared at Payton a long time. Bit his bottom lip and said, “Fuck it. I tried to explain to you that I had nothing to do with Jay, and if you want to believe that I fuck his little ass, then so be it.”

  “But you wanted to.”

“Yes, I wanted to fuck. I’m a man and my husband leaves me and I haven’t fucked in a month. You’re damn right I wanted to fuck the first hole I found, but I didn’t because I am in love. And the day I fall out of love with you then...”

Payton cut off Taylor before he could complete his tirade.

  “I rest my case.”

Taylor walked over where Payton was standing his eyes blazing and he reached and took Payton’s face with his hands and his eyes raked Payton’s handsome face and his swollen lips. He wanted to shove his dick into that mouth if just to get rid of that satisfied smirk.

“Is that what you wanted, counselor, to bring me in guilty. Is that how you handle your cases, then it’s a wonder you haven’t quit before now.”

Payton pulled Taylor’s hand from his face and his chest heaved up and down.

“I wanted to fuck you. Only you, but you left me alone in our bed wondering what had happened. I tracked you from the east coast to the west coast. I met your mother, if you had taken the time to call her, you would know that, and she said that you were headed to San Francisco. No one knew where you were. I needed release, I needed you to love and hold me, and tell me that everything was good between us. I could have had Jay in my bed comforting me, but I wouldn’t because I’m married to a man I love, and who obviously doesn’t love me. And what did you do?”

“Nothing but wait for you to call,” Payton said.

“How could I call when your phone was off? You’re as much to blame for this fiasco as I am, maybe more so because you brought me in guilty when I wasn’t. I don’t know if this marriage is worth saving under these circumstances.”

Their eyes covered each other. The silence sucked the oxygen out of everything in the room.

Then Payton said, “I’m leaving.” And Payton made a move for the door and Taylor always the Alpha in their relationship grabbed his wrist and turned him around.

“If you must leave me. I have one wish,” Taylor said his eyes sad. “Fuck me and if you still feel like leaving, then I won’t stop you.”

“Are you asking to fuck me?” Payton said.

“NO. MAKE ME YOUR BOTTOM,” Taylor said. “I want to be that to you. I don’t want you to leave me. I can’t take it one more day.”

Taylor went to his knees in front of Payton and Payton didn’t know what to make of this strong confident man on his knees, and asking that he fuck him. Make him the bottom in the relationship.

“You’re just saying it now, and then you’re back to your usual bossy self.”

“I had agreed to switch with you before, why not now and permanently, if that bothered you because you were so angry about my relationship with...”

“Don’t say his name. I don’t want him in my life any longer.” Payton looked at Taylor. “When I left I couldn’t handle too much. I know I had been jealous in the past, but I’m working on it. I see a therapist. If you want to work on the marriage then we need to see someone who specialize in saving marriages. I need you to go with me to a therapist. As you can see I’m about as vulnerable as anyone can get. It’s one of the reasons why I left and why I was leaving this time. I couldn’t handle that a man had been living under the same roof with you.”

As Payton looked down on Taylor as he unbuttoned his cargo shorts, and as Payton glanced down at him with a stunned look on his face, he let Taylor ease his shorts and briefs down to his ankles, and then he stepped out of them, and toed off his shoes. In the majority of their lovemaking, Taylor had taken charge and it had been him placing Taylor’s cock in his mouth, and Payton had enjoyed the act of sucking him off.

Payton had remembered one time when Taylor had proposed that he come to his home where he promised him that he would have the pleasure of a lifetime, and it had been just as Taylor had described that fortuitous night.

Now it was Payton’s turn and he enjoyed the power he held, or thought he held as his beautiful sophisticated lawyer opened his mouth and took Payton’s throbbing length down his throat. He fisted Payton’s thick cock up and down from the base to the tip as he pushed it in
side his throat and pulled it out driving Payton crazy.

Payton’s hands fell on both sides of Taylor’s face as he rubbed the short growth on Taylor’s face as Taylor sucked hard on his cock tasting the pre-cum oozing from the tip, and dropping into Taylor’s mouth.

Payton’s head fell back as he opened his mouth trying to breath with a soft moan escaping into the air followed by, “Oh, Taylor. Oh my husband, I’d forgotten how good you are and how you make me feel.” He fucked Taylor’s mouth with a passion and force he’d never done before.

And Payton’s hips shot forward pushing his cock further into Taylor’s throat as he massaged Payton’s ass with his long fingers. And then Taylor pulled out looked up, and shot him a fierce grin, and then stood and sauntered down the hall.

Payton looked confused, but he trailed behind Taylor like a hungry dog looking for his next meal.

When he entered a decadent room with modern furniture and a tremendous California king bed, Payton said, “I hope this isn’t the Master suite.”

Taylor lay there all six feet two with an incredible body and a stiff cock. He stroked it and patted the mattress beside him. As the mattress dipped and Payton, all six feet two of gorgeous manhood lay down beside Taylor, Taylor reached and brought out the lube from a drawer, there were no condoms.

  “Where are the condoms?”

“I don’t need them, do you?” Taylor said.

Payton knew what Taylor was implying.

He was truthful about not fucking anyone but him, but was Taylor truthful?

“I’ve never needed them to fuck you. But then I’ve had very little use with them remember,” Payton said.

“My question is do you need them now to make love to me?” Taylor said dragging Payton on top of him as they met each other’s eyes with their hard erections pressing together as Payton laid on top.

Before he could kiss Taylor, Taylor said, “I love you. I know I don’t say that enough. And if you want to adopt, I’ll do that. Anything to have you back with me.”
