“That’s because I have someone and as I said, you’re not my type.”

“I’m every man’s type,” Jay said standing and strutting around in front of Taylor.

“Yes you are if you’re giving your ass away for nothing. Then you are every man’s type, but as I said before, you’re not my type.”

“Then what’s your type? I’m not sophisticated enough or smart enough? Tell me, maybe I can...”

Taylor interrupted him, “You can’t get taller, or have dark hair, or be married to me.”

“If this man is so special why isn’t he here?”

“It’s a long story and I not at liberty to tell my life story to someone who is not matured enough to understand,” Taylor said, sinking down next to Jay.

“Tell me. I need to grow up some time,” Jay said.

Taylor groaned. “When you meet a man... well I never met him first. I was on the east coast and I picked up a newspaper and saw his face. He had just won an important case and for some reason the Times covered it, and there he was tall and handsome standing there next to his fiancée and I knew that I would do anything to be with him. I knew he was the one.”

“So what did you do?” Jay said as he tucked one leg under the other and leaned in with his hand under his chin.

“I packed my bags and moved to San Francisco. And literally stalked him. And one day when I got my opportunity I introduced myself to him. I asked him out to dinner, took him home and told him how much I loved him, and that I had been stalking him.

He didn’t waver, he said he was glad that I had, and don’t ever stop. And I took him at his word. That’s why I’m here. I’ve been looking for Payton.”

Jay finally got the message when he explained to him why there would never be anyone for him but Payton.

  Chapter Twenty-One

“COME ON, PAYTON, WE’RE going to miss all the action if we get to San Francisco late. I’ve arranged for us to stay at some friend’s house,” Elliot said standing with tight jeans torn across the knee not from a purchase at Old Navy, but from being worn out and old. And he had a small tee stretched across his wide chest where his belly button showed with all the trails of fine blond hair leading down to an amazing looking cock.

It was amazing because Payton had dodged it every time Elliot trotted from the shower. Elliot would apologize, but then he never stopped prancing around whenever he knew Payton was downstairs.

Payton thought Elliot enjoyed walking around in the nude and seeing the look of horror on his face because he would laugh and then cover up.

And Elliot would chuckle for days every time he saw him and whenever Payton turned to avoid eye contact with him during what Payton thought was obviously no accident. Payton soon learned that Elliot had more on his mind than hitting up a friendship.

Payton became tired of avoiding and dodging Elliot and he said then, “For Christ’s sake Elliot, put some clothes on. I haven’t had a fuck in months.”

“That’s not my problem or is it?” Elliot aimed a cocky smile Payton’s way and lowered his eyes then his gaze returned to Payton.

“You and I are friends,” Payton said. “We’re both bottoms and that doesn’t work in a relationship and besides you’re not my type.”

PAYTON CAME BOUNDING down the stairs in dress slacks and a white shirt that were great for the courtroom, but not so great for the clubs Elliot had in mind.

“What?” Payton said. “What’s wrong with what I’m wearing?” He knew from the moment he dressed that something was wrong, but he wasn’t going out to meet someone and bring them back here, or go to their place and fuck them. He was going just to get out and socialize. “This is all I have. And the cargo shorts.”

“Well the shorts are better than what you’re wearing. We’re not going to a Halloween party where you’re dressed like a lawyer,” Elliot said pacing around Payton like a designer trying to figure out what was wrong with his handsome model, and what to fit him with.

“But I’m a lawyer or used to be.”

“Precisely. Now will you please get in the mood? I don’t know when I’ll get a chance to do this again. My friend will be back soon, and he wants to relax and stay in. He’s older and in his forties and he’s done with that scene. But I’m young and just getting started. And you’re putting a serious damper on tonight’s partying. I figured if you didn’t want to fuck me with that stiff-I-haven’t been fucked-in a-month dick of yours, then maybe someone else will.”

“I told you before, Elliot, you’re not my type and I’m married.”

“Haven’t you heard about switching? Just for one night and both you and I can get some release.”

Payton rolled his eyes and said under his breath, “You’re impossible.” I’d better move out soon before Elliot convinces me to do something I’ll be sorry for. Fuck I liked Elliot and we got along great until he started down this road. It’s a road of no return because sex ruins friendships, Payton thought.

Payton didn’t want to hear any more of Elliot’s crying, so he turned around and sauntered upstairs and changed into a pair of cargo shorts. He searched around and found a pink linen shirt. After dressing he gazed into the mirror. “This should work,” he said. “If not, fuck Elliot.”

No, there will be no fucking Elliot, he thought.

Payton traipsed down the stairs again, this time his feet heavier and his mind lighter because if Elliot said one word about the way he was dressed he was ready to stay at the beach house and listen to the waves, and think about Taylor.

He wished Elliot would go out hunting for a piece of ass for one night, without him.

“You looking fucking hot. Not a sleazy kind of hot, but a sophisticated kind of hot,” Elliot said tugging his bottom lip behind his top teeth, and then swiping his tongue over his lip.

“Let’s go, Elliot, before you get any ideas.” Payton grabbed Elliot’s arm and tugged him through the door.

They stepped out of the beach house together as Payton glanced over at Elliot. He was a handsome young man, kind of pretty with his cute round face and large blue eyes, and probably his boyfriend found him sexy and liked that he was a bottom, but for Payton there was no heart strumming and cock twitching when Elliot came close to him.

Taylor and he had never really discussed who was bottom and who was top. At this point it didn’t matter to Payton. He knew now that this wasn’t what he wanted to do, hunt someone to fuck for a night, or day. He desired the peace and comfort of having his beautiful sexy as hell man he loved, in his bed, naked with his legs spread and his dick hard, when he came home from work.

Payton came to the realization that Elliot was lonely and needed a warm body near him, just as he was feeling now. This caused Payton to think that he would consent to being Taylor’s bottom whenever and however he wanted him because he couldn’t do this again. It was tearing him up inside being away from Taylor, and not knowing where he was, and if they could put their marriage back together again he was all for it.

Payton needed Taylor inside him to sooth his insecurities. This was what he had to work on because his therapist had said it was—his self-doubt. Thinking he wasn’t good enough for Taylor had him walking out on him because he thought he couldn’t handle Taylor leaving him the way Isabella had.

It made sense to him then, but the therapist helped him understand that it didn’t make sense now.

ELLIOT AND PAYTON HAD made their way around to several bars and although Elliot was drunk, he wasn’t driving. Payton sober, drove Elliot’s black and red Jeep Wrangler to San Francisco, and now they were tooling around to every bar that Elliot could remember.

“I don’t know what’s happening in this town. There used to be some places where the patrons weren’t as dodgy,” Elliot said opening his eyes and glancing at the next place they were going to cruise.

“Don’t you have the man you want? Why are you here anyway?” Payton asked aiming a hard glance Elliot’s way as they stepped from the car after parking it. Because
Elliot had a drink everywhere they stopped, Payton had to just about hold him up. But Elliot would push Payton’s hand away as they entered a club and walk on his own. For some reason he would sober up inside. Maybe it was the loud music and the dancing and sweating that had him sober until he took another drink. That’s it, don’t let Elliot get a drink.

I’m fucking finished with this shit, Payton thought. If Taylor saw me now, he would think, wait a minute, I don’t know what the fuck he would think. But I know what I would think of him. I would file for divorce in a quick second.

“It’s late, can we go back to the beach house? I can drive the distance,” Payton said stepping into a crowded bar with loud techno music and men whirling around drunk and gyrating on each other’s’ cocks. Elliot looked around and his eyes looked up and fixed on someone.

Turning to Payton, “Just one more drink,” Elliot begged as his eyes followed the crowd. “Look at the twink dancing up there on the bar, don’t tell me he doesn’t get your cock twitching, and your asshole tight thinking about that body of his. Just the way I like them. Young, dumb, and full of come.”

Payton rolled his eyes and let out a loud moan no one heard but him.

“You know if you keep talking like that I’m leaving. He looks like he would give it up if you look at him hard, and whisper in his ear,” Payton said, as he took a seat at the bar and ordered a drink. “You need to calm down. I thought you were expecting your boyfriend to come in from Europe in a week.”

“That’s why I’m trying to get in a little fun when I can. He’s too stuffy. Reminds me of what you’re going to be like in ten years. Or now.” Elliot rolled his eyes.

“Or you?” Payton shot back, “when your boyfriend finds out what you’re up to.”

“Never mind that.” Elliot tapped Payton’s knee. “He’s coming this way. Look at the way he’s eyeing me. And he has a hard on.”

“How can you tell in this light?”

“Trust me, the way he’s smiling and walking and twisting his hips with his hands cupping those tiny shorts there’s something going on with him.” As the dancer passed Elliot, Elliot grabbed his wrist and he stopped, and passed his tongue on his bottom lip.

“Do you want to go home with me?” Elliot said.

Payton turned on the stool to face the dancer and Elliot, as Elliot tried to convince the twink that he was what he needed tonight.

Payton heard Elliot say in a deep voice, “Have you ever had something that you wanted and it was right there, and you didn’t want it to leave because it might disappear, and never come again?”

“Yeah. Christmas,” the cute dancer said with a bored look, rolling his eyes at Elliot, “when I was a child, and now I’m grown, and it will never come again, not like then.”

“Well that’s how I feel about you. If I don’t talk to you now, you may be gone out of my life and I will never get a chance to see you again,” Elliot said moving close to the dancer in the skimpy shorts with his cheeks hanging out.

“Why don’t you call me,” the dancer said batting his long eyelashes at him.

“It might be too late,” Elliot said.

“I would go with you, but...” He glanced up and around.

  “He’s with me.”

Payton quivered at the sound of that voice and his cock twitched. He didn’t want to turn because he was afraid of who he might see standing behind him and reaching for the twink’s arm.

That sexy low voice that held strength and assurance for him before, belonged to the man he loved. There can’t be two like him with a voice like that in all the planet. He didn’t want to look up in the mirror for fear Taylor would see him.

Payton had his head down and the bartender finally got to him and stood in front of him.

“Are you two ready to order. It’s the last call.”

Payton shook his head and kept his face down and to the right of him watching at Elliot and the dancer.

“My name is Elliot. What’s yours?” Elliot asked the twink standing in front of him. Elliot never turned to see who the man behind him was and Payton knew he didn’t care. It was just true to Elliot’s nature. Elliot was on a mission tonight and no one was going to get in the way of him claiming a piece of ass.

“Jay. My name is Jay, just call me that for now.”

“It’s time to go, Jay. You have to get your rest,” Taylor said still not noticing the man he was standing behind.

“What are you? His daddy or something?” Elliot inquired.

“Or something,” Taylor said. “Let’s go.” And Taylor towered over both Jay and Elliot.

Payton had the feeling this wasn’t going the way Elliot expected, therefore, he turned slowly around, and met Taylor’s eyes. He stood and now he was eye to eye with his breathtakingly handsome husband.

They stared at each other. Their looks powerful as Payton’s heart hammered in his chest. He didn’t want to see this. He didn’t want to know that the man he loved was fucking a twenty-year old boy who danced in a sleazy gay club. Everything he thought about Taylor made sense to him, and didn’t make sense.

Taylor had been unfaithful to him. The marriage was over, but he couldn’t get it out of his mouth, but he strained to say it and finally it came.

“I’ll file for divorce Monday. It’s only fitting that it happens in the state where we were married.” And he took one scorching look at Taylor, and then he quietly rushed out with Taylor tearing through the crowded room behind him.

When Payton pushed through the doors and was on the street as a group of men stood outside smoking and talking, Taylor had made up the distance between them, and he was outside in the middle of a crowd when he grabbed Payton’s arm and pushed him against the wall.

“What are you trying to do now? Force me to listen to you. Force me to believe you when I see with my own eyes what’s going on?” Payton said.

“What about you, Payton? Are you that innocent because I’m innocent of everything you think I did and am doing now?”

“I have no interest in talking to you and have you tell me another lie,” Payton said breathless.

“When have I lied to you? I’m not going to stand out here in this crowd and tell you everything I need to tell you.”

Payton pushed Taylor’s hands off him and started walking in the direction of Elliot’s Jeep. Taylor caught up with him and stood in front of him.

“What are you going to do, kidnap me?” Payton said stopping and turning to face Taylor.

“It would be difficult, but not impossible,” Taylor said. “The way you make me feel, I would kidnap you and take you back to my apartment and let you fuck me anyway you want. With or without lube. I just need to be near you. It’s been weeks or months. I don’t fucking know at this point, since I’ve been with you. Since you’ve been inside of me. I crave that, and I want that.”

“Well it appears that you’ve been inside someone else since then, and I want no part of you,” Payton said.

“And what were you doing with that Elliot person, and whose idea was it to pick up Jay?”

“Taylor, go fuck yourself.” And Payton tried to walk away. But Taylor placed his hand to his chest.

“That’s what I want you to do. I want you to fuck me. Tonight. I want you to come with me so I can explain to you what all this is about. It’s not what it appears to be. And Jay can tell you that nothing happened between us. He’s my witness.”

“Your witness is in that club probably sucking my friend’s dick by now. That’s how credible he is, counselor. Do you still want to call him? I can impeach him in a minute,” Payton said standing with his hand on the door-handle of the Wrangler ready to open it. Taylor placed his strong hand over Payton’s and Payton shivered from his touch.

“Are you afraid you will lose this case?” Taylor questioned walking close to Payton were he could feel Taylor’s hard cock through his cargo shorts.

“It’s yours to lose,” Payton said.

“Then I’d better get to work,
Taylor said reaching and grabbing the back of Payton’s head and bringing his mouth to him crushing their lips together. His tongue slid through Payton’s parted lips with their tongues exploring each other’s mouths. The searing heat from their lips collided in scorching sexual passion as their hips pounded against each other together as they stood dry fucking each other under a street lamp.

Taylor’s tongue searched though Payton’s mouth with cruel hungry intentions and then he bit Payton’s lip and Payton returned the same brutal kiss in kind.

Taylor placed his leg in between Payton’s and thrust his hips forward grinding on Payton’s hard length as they stood kissing and demanding more from each other.

Taylor pulled away breathless after dry humping Payton, and bit and licked Payton’s neck, as his head fell back and his eyes closed at the sound of Taylor’s voice, and the familiar smell of his shower gel and cologne.

“Oh fuck me,” Payton said breathless.

Backing Payton against the Jeep, with both hands placed on the side of Payton’s body, Taylor had him fenced in and the only way to leave was to push him away and Payton couldn’t bring himself to do that. He’d waited too long to be near him.

“Yes. Yes. That’s what I want. Come home with me and let me explain. Fuck you, Payton, I can’t live without you.”

“Listen to the man,” Elliot said standing behind the parked car.

Taylor aimed a narrowed quick glance over to Elliot. Taylor said in a gruff voice, “What the fuck do you want, whatever the fuck your name is?”

“It’s Elliot. And I wanted to find out if Payton was okay, and now that I see that he is,” Elliot said to Payton, “Go home with your husband and I’ll take Jay with me. It’ll give you two time to sort out whatever it is that’s causing you two to act like two caged animals. You know they arrest people for indecent exposure.” He looked at Jay and smiled.

Taylor glanced over at Jay standing close by Elliot, “Do you want to go with him? I don’t even know his name.”
