Rani had a sudden change in her expression as her Mental-message transmission orb started to vibrate.

“Princess, the Lord Asura Envoy wishes to meet you. He wants to talk to you about an important matter. He is waiting for you outside Heavenly Demon City,” Lin said via Mental-message transmission.

“We are coming,” Rani said as Lin cut the connection between their Mental-message orbs. She then quickly sent Mental-message transmissions to her companions informing them and telling them to get ready to tag along with her to meet Isa. Her companions were stunned for a second before they regained their composures and quickly came to her chamber with solemn expressions.

“We can use this opportunity to mend our ties with the Lord Asura Envoy,” Rani said in a determined manner. Her companions nodded their heads as she opened a Teleportation portal to Heavenly Demon City using a Teleportation scroll. She and her companions quickly entered it.

Isa was playing catch in the sky above Heavenly Demon City with Noah, while Nox, Liam, Rashmi and the rest were hovering and watching them from a little distance away. They didn’t disturb them and just watched with smiles on their faces. They had a change in expression though, when they saw a portal open at some distance from them.

Rani and her companions flew out of it. Nox, Liam, Rashmi and the rest immediately gave a deep bow to them. Rani and her companions acknowledged their bows with a slight nod before heading towards Isa. Nox and company couldn’t avoid being respectful towards Rani and her companions, because of the difference in the strengths of their factions.

“Noah, it’s time to go to your mother now,” Isa said to Noah upon seeing Rani and her companions. Noah nodded his head and flew straight towards Rashmi.

“Greetings Lord Asura Envoy,” Rani and her companions said in unison.

  Isa just nodded his head.

“We would like to apologize for our previous conduct,” Rani said contritely.

“There is no need. Just help me once and we will be equal,” Isa said in a normal manner.

“How can we help you?” Rani asked with a genuine tone, as she had decided to give her all to helping Isa.

“I don’t know if you guys know about the mysterious object that came from Outer space a few months ago?” Isa asked as he scanned the faces of Rani and her companions.

“We have no idea about that,” Rani said solemnly.

“A few months ago, a powerful object came from Outer space. All living beings on Grandura froze for a few seconds in their places until it plunged into an Ancient Legacy Land,” Isa said resolutely. Rani and her companions didn’t find anything shocking about that, as there were countless objects in the Divine Universe that could do something like that to the inhabitants of Grandura.

“That object is actually a sword that was made from the bones of a Lord Asura. That Lord Asura had fallen in battle against the Silver Oak Sect and some bones were left behind after his death, which were turned into a sword by the Silver Oak Sect. The sword became sentient some time ago and escaped from their clutches and finally plunged into an Ancient Legacy Land. I don’t need to tell you the implications of such a weapon in the hands of Silver Oak Sect. Countless demons will die under that sword,” Isa said via Mental-message transmission as he scanned the faces of Rani and company. This time Rani and her companions had drastic changes in their expressions and their breathing became uneven.

“Silver Oak Sect has already sent a number of their own youngsters, as well as the youngsters of their subsidiary factions, that have extremely high resistance towards Fire Attribute in order to retrieve the sword from the Ancient Legacy Land. After coming to Grandura the sword will be unable to exhibit its powers and just turn into an ordinary Bone sword, but it will release massive amounts of heat and fire. Since the youngsters sent by Silver Oak Sect have already arrived from the Divine Universe, it is but natural that their Cultivation Levels will be way higher than the young demons of Grandura,” Isa added via Mental-message transmission, as he once again scanned the faces of Rani and company.

By this time, Rani and her companions had already regained their composures and had severe expressions fixed to their faces and Murderous aura erupting out of their bodies as they nodded their heads. They could already tell what Isa was trying to imply.

Lin and the rest from the Twilight Demon Kingdom were alarmed by the sudden changes in the demeanor of Rani and her companions, but they could tell that their Murderous auras weren’t directed at Isa, which gave them relief.

“We will have the youngsters of our faction quickly come to Grandura at the earliest. We will definitely make sure that sword doesn’t fall in the hands of Silver Oak Sect,” Rani replied via Mental-message transmission with a determined expression. She knew that the Silver Oak Sect would use the Asura Bone sword on her faction first, given the relationship between the Royal Demon Family Clan and the Silver Oak Sect.

“The Silver Oak Sect thinks that no one knows about the identity of that object that came from Outer space and I want them to keep on thinking that. If the Silver Oak Sect comes to know about this matter, they won’t fret about asking other powerful human factions for help. Those factions will also send their youngsters into the Ancient Legacy Land. This will only make things difficult for the youngsters of your faction. The fact that youngsters from your faction will be entering the Ancient Legacy Land shouldn’t be known until the last moment. That will take Silver Oak Sect by surprise and at that moment they won’t be able to do anything about it,” Isa said via Mental-message transmission.

Rani and her companions quickly nodded their heads and gloating expressions appeared on their faces. They liked Isa’s plan very much. They were not at all scared of offending the Silver Oak Sect, as the Royal Demon Family Clan was also an SSS Grade faction. They had clashed with Silver Oak Sect on numerous occasions.

“Lord Asura Envoy, we will immediately contact our Sect Head,” Rani said via Mental-message transmission in a determined manner.

“Don’t let your ego come in the way of this task. If your faction lacks capable youngsters, please ask other demon factions for help. We have to make sure at all costs that the sword doesn’t end up in the hands of Silver Oak Sect. The lives of countless demons are at stake,” Isa said in a heavy tone. Rani and her companions were visibly moved by these words.

“He is truly a Lord Asura Envoy in every possible sense. He cares about the safety of the Demon race so much,” Rani and her companions couldn’t help but think to themselves. If by chance they were to know the real intention behind Isa’s coming to find them, they would have already vomited their bodies’ blood in anger.

“Contact me if you need to consult me about anything,” Isa said as he took out his Mental-message transmission orb. Rani also took out her Mental-message transmission orb and touched it against Isa’s. This would allow her to contact Isa via his Mental-message transmission orb.

“Lord Asura Envoy, we will take our leave and will contact you if we need to know anything else,” Rani said as she and her companions quickly opened a Teleportation portal and disappeared into it.

“Father is everything alright,” Rashmi asked as she flew towards Isa with Noah in her arms. Nox, Liam, Lin and the rest of the higher-ups of the Twilight Demon Kingdom were just a few steps behind her.

“Everything is going to be alright, but you guys just remain vigilant. The coming few months are going to be chaotic,” Isa said with concern.

Rashmi, Liam, Nox and the rest could tell from Isa’s tone that something big was going to happen on Grandura in the coming few months, so they just nodded their heads with thoughtful expressions.

“I will come to meet you guys later,” Isa said as he opened a Teleportation portal to Raksha Continent before disappearing into it.

Rashmi, Liam and the rest then returned to the palace. Nox ordered the War department to start accumulating a few hundred years’ worth of supplies. He had taken Isa’s warning to heart and was already starting to prepare for it.

Ryan had an ecstatic expression, as he was testing the Evil Eyes Innate Ability on a horde of Wood Gaurs. Wood Gaurs are normal Elemental Beasts with the bloodline of an Ancient Elemental Beast, Evergreen Gaurs. Wood Gaurs look no different from the Gaurs that are present on Earth (Wild Buffalos found mostly in Asian countries, the males of which are known to attack and kill tigers) except for their size and green body color and are twice as big.

Evergreen Gaurs are Ancient Elemental Beasts of wood. Their bodies are also made of wood and they look more or less like trees in the shape of Gaurs. Evergreen Gaurs have extremely high bodily toughness and strength but that isn’t their most dangerous aspect. They can to control Plant Spirits and Tree Spirits. If one challenges an Evergreen Gaur. one has to fight a number of Plant Spirits and Tree Spirits. The number of Plant Spirits and Tree Spirits an Evergreen Gaur controls depends on its bloodline purity. The ones with Original-grade bloodline purity can control millions of Plant Spirits and Tree Spirits, which makes them quite formidable.

The horde of Wood Guars of about one thousand individuals looked dazed as their eyes had turned blood red from being trapped in an illusion. The majority of them had Early Mortal Sage Realm Cultivation Levels, while the leader and a few other individuals had Mid Mortal Sage Realm Cultivation Levels.

“This sure is fun!” Ryan couldn’t help but exclaim.

“I would suggest that you don’t use Evil Eyes regularly while training in Starlight Forest. It will hamper your combat training,” Yama cautioned, to which Ryan couldn’t help but agree.

“Leave this horde for later since you are unable to burn them to death with your current cultivation level,” Earl suggested.

Ryan nodded his head as he flew away along with his wraiths to search for Mortal Emperor Realm beings to burn to death. The horde of Wood Gaurs came out of his illusion one by one soon after he left. Each of them had a startled expression and couldn’t help but look left and right in confusion before returning to grazing, just like they were before Ryan’s arrival.

This was a big day for the Grandura branch of the Raffle Family Clan as their Main branch was sending reinforcements. The reinforcements comprised three Martial Artists beyond the Immortal Realm and they’d been sent specifically to protect Cynthia.

The Grandura branch of the Dark Moon Family Clan had become extremely aggressive after joining the Star Alliance. They’d given the Raffle Family Clan one month’s time for thinking about the marriage between Rai and Cynthia a few days ago – Cynthia had been kept in the dark about this matter.

Reiner, the Head of the Grandura branch of the Raffle Family Clan panicked after such a dictate. He knew that the situation was only going to escalate with time, even if the Dark Moon Family Clan didn’t try to kidnap Cynthia or attack the Grandura branch of the Raffle Family Clan after the one-month dead-line ended. So, Reiner had immediately contacted the Main branch of the Raffle Family Clan for support. Their Main branch was quick enough to send support, as Cynthia was capable of increasing the strength of their faction given her talent in Life Elemental Laws. They were certain that if Cynthia married into the Dark Moon Family Clan, she’d bear them a grudge for sure and would never help them – and that was something they didn’t wish to see.

A Teleportation portal opened in the skies above one of the Treasure Lands of the Raffle Family Clan. It was emitting terrifying fluctuations that could easily scare the shit out of even Late Immortal Saint beings. Reiner and all the other higher-ups of the Grandura branch of the Raffle Family Clan were hovering at some distance from the Teleportation portal with solemn expressions. They were there specifically to welcome the Martial Artists from their Main branch. The Teleportation portal was opened so far from the Family Clan as the arrival of the Martial Artists from their Main branch had to be kept a secret from the rest of the world for the time being.

Soon three men flew out of the portal. One of them was a middle-aged man while the other two looked like they were in their twenties, but the auras released by all three of them were extremely ancient and archaic.

“Ancestors,” Reiner and all the other higher-ups of the Grandura branch of the Raffle Family Clan said in unison as they gave deep bows to the Martial Artists from their Main branch.

Smiles appeared on the faces of the Martial Artists of the Main branch of the Raffle Family Clan.

“There is no need for such formalities. By the way, I am Anso,” the middle-aged man said in an amicable manner. He had a stout body and blonde hair.

“I am Regulus,” one of the young men said as he introduced himself. He had a muscular body with black hair.

“I am Rocco,” the other young man said as he introduced himself. He had a lean body with violet hair.

Reiner and all the other higher-ups of the Grandura branch of the Raffle Family Clan then introduced themselves to Anso and his two companions.

“Where is Cynthia?” Anso finally asked with curiosity, as she was the reason he and his companions had been sent here.

“She is cultivating in her Cultivation chamber. Should I call her?” Reiner said, while still maintaining a respectful tone.

“There’s no need to disturb her – but keep her in the dark about us like everyone else. Let’s head back to the family clan and you can tell us about the current situation on Grandura in detail,” Anso said with a smile. Reiner and all the other higher-ups of the Grandura branch of the Raffle Family Clan nodded, as they led Anso and his two companions to their residence.

Reiner and the other higher-ups of the Grandura branch of the Raffle Family Clan took them to the grandest palace of the Raffle Family Clan. This was the residence for the members of the Main branch of the clan while they were deployed on Grandura. They went to its living room and took seats. Reiner and all the other higher-ups of the Grandura branch then quickly filled them in about everything that had been happening on Grandura, and about Ryan too. Anso and his two companions listened quietly to everything that Reiner and the others told them.

“Is she really in love with that boy called Ryan?” Rocco asked as he changed the topic to Cynthia. He had a despondent expression. If possible, the Raffle Family Clan wanted Cynthia’s husband to be from the Family Clan itself, but Rocco and his companions had been specifically instructed by the Founder of the Raffle Family Clan not to force Cynthia in any manner, as it would only distance her from the Family Clan. So, it is natural that he had such an expression.

“She isn’t vocal about her feeling, but we feel that she quite fond of him, unlike Rai or a few top geniuses from our family clan. She has a murderous expression every time she meets Rai or geniuses from our family clan,” Reiner said with uncertainty. Reiner had asked a few geniuses of the Raffle Family Clan to pursue Cynthia to somehow get her a husband within the Family Clan but he’d failed terribly in his scheme. Anso and his two companions just nodded their heads with wooden expressions.

“Let things take their natural course. We will just make sure that Cynthia isn’t forced in any manner by the Dark Moon Family Clan,” Regulus added. Reiner and other higher-ups of the Grandura branch of the Raffle Family Clan nodded their heads in agreement, before they continued to chat with Anso and his two companions about other important matters.

Ryan at this moment returned to his cave in the mountainous region as his insights and understanding in Death Elemental Laws and Fire Elemental Laws had increased to the threshold required for advancing both his Death Fire Dual Attribute Soul Cores to Mid-Mortal Emperor Realm.

He immediately sat in his usual spot in the cave and started to refine his skin. He intended to attain Pseudo Skin at the earliest.

  ---------------------------x----------------------

All Grandura was thrown into chaos ten days after Ryan’s return from Wailing Ravines, as the matter of the Red Calamity had co
me to light. This made all the human factions frantic and they sent a number of people from their factions to investigate. They’d assumed that the Devil race had once again declared war on them, as Dragon Head Continent was the territory of Human races.

All the human factions were in uproar when they discovered the rough number of Fire fiends and the speed at which they were multiplying all over Dragon Head Continent as well as a few other continents of Grandura. These Fire fiends were busy increasing their number and not at all bothered about attacking human factions at that moment.

The factions that were established on Dragon Head Continent and those other continents were shaken by the sheer number of Fire fiends on their respective continents. They knew that they’d have no choice but to shift bases if the Fire fiends bared their fangs at their factions.

The factions of Grandura with Main branches in the Divine universe immediately sent Mental-message transmissions to their Main branches informing them about the sudden appearance of a Heretical Fire Devil on Grandura. They knew that they couldn’t deal with a Red Calamity on this scale on their own.

After knowing the rough number of Fire fiends, the human factions also threatened the Devil Kings with a fully-fledged war if the Heretical Fiery Devil wasn’t handed over to them. Currently, the human factions were avoiding killing Fire fiends in large numbers as killing them results in a dramatic increase in the strength of the surviving Fire fiends and might also lead to the appearance of a Fire-fiend Lord. The best way to solve the problem was to kill the Heretical Fire Devil. The human factions contacted all the Divination Masters to Divine the location of the Heretical Fire Devil.
