Ryan was currently fighting a Sky dragon high up in the sky. He was shrouded all of a sudden in a white light as he shot out a sword beam entirely made up of Hell’s Fire flame at the Sky dragon with a Cultivation Level of Mid Mortal Saint Realm. The sword beam transformed into a Fiery black serpent and attacked the Sky dragon ferociously.

Sky dragons are Wind Attribute dragons and look quite like eels with wings and white scales. Being a Divine beast, the Sky dragon was able to contend against the Fiery black serpent and was also able to suppress it to a very high extent.

A smile appeared on Ryan’s face as he’d finally comprehended the First Realm of Sword-intent. The white light is called Sword light and can only be emitted by Martial Artists or beings that have comprehended Sword-intent. Sword light can also be used to attack but it is usually used as a means for dealing with large numbers of enemies, as using it every time requires a very large amount of Spirit Power.

“Finally,” Ryan said with a loud laugh as he slashed Death Sword once again at the Mid Mortal Saint Realm Elemental Beast. A sword beam entirely made of Hell’s Fire flame shot out, but this time the aura of the black sword beam was far more domineering and powerful than before. The eyes of the Sky dragon immediately turned wide with shock at the power behind the sword beam and then it disappeared instantly from the face of Grandura without leaving behind any remains at all. It had no opportunity to save itself, because Ryan had merged Sword-intent with his attack. Ryan was stunned for a few seconds at the power of his sword strike before a creepy smile appeared on his face.

“Congratulations!” Dargar, Earl and Yama said in unison.

“Thanks,” Ryan said while maintaining his previous creepy smile, as he flew in the direction where he’d sensed another Mid Mortal Saint Realm being, while conversing with his Martial Spirits about Sword-intent.

  Ch.25

Isa, Shalu and their sons were looking at two hundred young demons with Cultivation Levels in varying stages of Immortal Elite Realm standing in front of him. All of them were of Fire Attribute and they belonged to demon species with extremely high resistance towards Fire attribute. They were the demons that the Royal Demon Family Clan had sent to Grandura to enter the Ancient Legacy Land. These demons had been selected according to the specifications set by Isa. Isa had already told Shalu and his sons about his dealings with the Royal Demon Family Clan and about the Asura Bone sword and they’d been quite alarmed at the time.

Rani had brought them to Isa’s home the moment they arrived on Grandura. The demons were looking at Isa with earnest expressions even though he was a Demon ghost. The supposed identity of Isa as Lord Asura Envoy was enough for even Paragon Gods of the Demon race to show him the utmost respect.

“I am sure you already know about the lasting consequences of the Asura Bone sword falling into the hands of the youngsters of the Silver Oak Sect and about your objectives once inside the Ancient Legacy Land?” Isa queried in a venerable manner.

“Yes, Lord Asura Envoy,” all the young demons said in unison.

“Even so, I will repeat the objectives once more. If any of you have any questions, you can ask me. I want you guys to secure the Asura Bone sword once you’re inside the Ancient Legacy Land before those bastards from the Silver Oak Sect, if possible – otherwise make sure the sword doesn’t leave the Ancient Legacy Land at all. As you guys already know, they have Star Teleporters with them, so they just need to mark the Asura Bone sword with one and the Asura Bone sword will be teleported back to the Silver Oak Sect the moment it comes out of the Ancient Legacy Land,” Isa said in a stern tone.

A Star Teleporter is a Spatial charm that can only be made by a Paragon God extremely well versed in Spatial Laws. It is used specifically for teleporting objects over extremely large distances without them being able to be intercepted in any manner. They are extremely difficult to create so each Star Teleporter is priceless.

All the young demons nodded their heads in unison. Isa then talked about other general things.

“That’s all I have to say. There is still time before the Legacy Land opens, so continue to cultivate diligently until then,” Isa said with an encouraging smile.

All the young demons nodded their heads following which they left with Rani and returned to their temporary residence in Grandura. Following their departure, Isa, Shalu, Rohit and Carolus re-entered their house.

Ryan had a huge smile on his face as his understanding in Fire Elemental Laws and Death Elemental Laws had just reached the threshold requirement for advancing his Death Fire Dual Attribute Soul Cores to Mid Mortal Saint Realm.

Ryan still had about a full month until the Ancient Legacy Land opened. He intended to gain Pseudo Immortal Muscles and Immortal Muscles during that time after returning home. He was flying to the mountainous region, the wraiths still following him like shadows. Ryan brought out Death Sword from his Soul World after reaching the mountainous region and opened the portal to Death dimension. The wraiths quickly disappeared into it. He then summoned Caius after getting his permission, as it would be problematic if Caius wasn’t by his side when Emilia came to pick him up. Ryan’s entire body was covered in green runes following which a small rift opened just above his head. Caius flew out of it in a cheery manner.

“How was your outing?” Ryan asked with a smile. Caius buzzed around him happily as he sent Ryan a Mental-message transmission telling him everything that he’d been doing in that while.

“It’s time to head back home,” Ryan told Caius who seated himself on Ryan’s shoulder once he was done narrating everything to Ryan.

Ryan then took out his Mental-message transmission orb from his Spatial pouch and contacted his mother.

“Mother, I have attained First Realm of Sword-intent, so can you come and pick me up?” Ryan said the moment his Mental-message transmission orb activated and he’d sent his coordinates too.

“OK, wait for a bit,” Emilia said very happily. Ryan then placed his Mental-message transmission orb back into his Spatial pouch as he informed Tondenth about his departure.

Tondenth immediately flew out of valley in which he was cultivating to bid Ryan good bye. He descended not far from Ryan and nudged Ryan with his snout a few times which made a smile appear on Ryan’s face as he rubbed it. Caius also copied Ryan’s actions, which made both Ryan and Tondenth laugh out loud. Tondenth’s laughing was no different to low roars. Ryan, Caius and Tondenth then talked while waiting for Emilia.

A few minutes later a Teleportation portal opened at some distance from them and Emilia flew out of it.

A smile appeared on Emilia’s face when she saw Ryan, Caius and Tondenth. This was the first time she’d met Tondenth.

“Thank you for taking care of Ryan,” Emilia said as she looked at Caius and Tondenth.

Caius quickly sent a Mental-message transmission to Emilia that there was no need for such formalities. Tondenth and Ryan couldn’t help but roll their eyes on seeing his shamelessness, as they could guess what Caius must have told her from his actions.

Tondenth also said similar things. Emilia talked with Tondenth for a few minutes before her attention moved towards Ryan.

“You sure are head over heels for Cynthia to take such a risky gamble,” Emilia said as she teased him. Her words made Ryan blush a little beneath his half mask. She and the other family members knew by then that the Raffle Family Clan was using Ryan’s plan to get Cynthia out of the sticky situation.

“I couldn’t think of any other way at that time to help Cynthia out of the problem and Thorn was already an Immortal Elite Realm Beast then,” Ryan said somewhat uncomfortably as his entire face became red, which made Emilia laugh out loud.

“We’ll talk about it more later. Let’s go back home first,” Emilia said as she opened the portal back to the Heaven Sundering Family Clan.

“Tondenth take care,” Emilia and Ryan said in unison while Caius also transmitted a similar m
essage via Mental-message transmission as he disappeared into Ryan’s hair. Ryan finally removed his mask for the first time after coming to Starlight Forest and put it in his Spatial pouch.

Ryan and Emilia then entered the portal, which disappeared after a few seconds. Tondenth flew back to the valley where he usually cultivated Elemental Laws to once again enter a deep cultivation-state.

Ryan and Emilia appeared at the Teleportation terminal in Heavenly City. They attracted quite a lot of attention, especially Ryan as many rumors about him had started to spread in recent days. Emilia and Ryan ignored them and just walked out of the Teleportation terminal and took off into the sky.

“Mother, I need to visit Grandpa Sheldon and the others,” Ryan said via Mental-message transmission after they took off.

“OK – but come back home early. Mother has made a feast to celebrate your successful training session,” Emilia said via Mental-message transmission with a smile.

Ryan nodded his head as he changed directions and flew straight towards the residence of Sheldon and his companions in the Main branch of the Eternity Family Clan.

Ryan reached the residence within a few hours. He could have come in less than fifteen minutes if he’d flown at his top speed, but that would have alarmed everyone as such speed wasn’t possible for a Mortal Lord Realm Martial Artist. He was certain that he’d be interrogated thoroughly by the higher-ups about the reason behind his high-speed flight, but that was something Ryan didn’t want, as he would be unable to explain such a quick increase in his Cultivation Level in such a short time.

Sheldon and his companions had already sensed Ryan approaching their residence when he was quite far away, so they’d already instructed the guards to allow him inside.

“Directly come to the living room. We are all sitting here,” Ryan received Brian’s Mental-message transmission the moment he entered their residence.

Ryan directly charged towards the living room. He’d assumed a worried expression just before coming close to the residence of Sheldon and his companions.

Sheldon, Danr and Brian were sitting on couches with teasing smiles on their faces as Ryan entered the living room. Ryan could tell what was going on in their minds but didn’t change his expression in the least.

“Grandpa, I have come to know about something very serious,” Ryan said earnestly. His tone had quite an effect on Sheldon, Danr and Brian and the smiles on their faces vanished.

“What’s happened?” Danr asked in a somewhat concerned manner.

“Grandpa, I lack proof, but you will have to believe me,” Ryan said in a far more ominous tone.

“Just tell us what the matter is and we will decide after hearing about it,” Sheldon said somewhat diffidently, as he had a very bad feeling at this moment.

“We can’t let anyone enter the Ancient Legacy Land as …” and Ryan told Sheldon, Danr and Brian everything he knew about Ishan and company and also the reason behind their coming to Grandura. Sheldon, Danr and Brain remained quiet as they listened to Ryan with rapt attention the moment he mentioned the Silver Oak Sect. Their expressions and demeanors underwent huge changes the longer Ryan spoke. When Ryan finished speaking they were looking at him, as if they were seeing some sort of ghost. Ryan was taken aback, as he wasn’t expecting such an exaggerated reaction from them.

“Danr, quickly inform Hague and Cenric everything that Ryan has told us. Tell them that none of the youngsters will be entering the Ancient Legacy Land,” Sheldon said in a thundering voice as he regained his composure. His thundering voice made Danr and Brian immediately regain their composures. Danr immediately took out his Mental-message transmission orb and contacted Hague.

Hague and Cenric were equally shocked when they received Danr’s Mental-message transmission. They immediately called Rudolf to their residence to inform him about both the Heaven Sundering Family Clan and the Eternity Family Clan not sending any youngsters to venture into the Ancient Legacy Land.

“Grandpas, you believe me just like that!? Aren’t you guys going to ask for any proof,” Ryan asked in utter bewilderment. This was such a big matter and he could tell from their reactions that they’d completely believed him. He hadn’t been expecting everything to go in his direction so easily.

“We have a lot of worldly experience. We can instantly tell if a young kid like you were to lie,” Sheldon said with an odd expression as he looked at Danr and Brian. They couldn’t tell Ryan that the Asura Bone sword that had fallen in the Ancient Legacy Land was the main reason they’d come to live on Grandura and the endless trouble that it had brought the Main branches of both family clans. So, they decided to avoid answering his question.

“Oh!!” Ryan said as he furiously nodded his head. He’d already bought Sheldon’s explanation as he found it reasonable.

“Ryan, you’ve done a very big favor and saved the lives of all your fellow brothers and sisters,” Danr said intently.

“Grandpas, there is another matter that I need to talk about with you guys,” Ryan said as he became extremely grave.

“For god’s sake quickly speak!” Brian roared, as he felt that Ryan was going to tell them more problematic stuff.

“I still want to enter the Ancient Legacy Land,” Ryan said in a determined tone.

“No!” Sheldon, Danr and Brian said in unison.

“You might not know, but the Main branch of the Dark Moon Family Clan has recently become a subsidiary of the Silver Oak Sect. You can imagine the situation you’d face inside the Ancient Legacy Land. You don’t have to worry about competing with Rai for Cynthia – I will personally go and kill him,” Sheldon said in an unequivocal manner.

Danr and Brian also nodded their heads in agreement. The fact that the Main branch of the Dark Moon Family Clan had become a subsidiary of the Silver Oak Sect was already known to Sheldon and company. That meant that Rai would now have the support of Ishan and company inside the Ancient Legacy Land, if he was able to regroup with any of them after entering. That would make things extremely dangerous for Ryan.

Ryan looked at them as his mouth went wide with shock. He hadn’t expected something like that at all. He knew that now he would have to waste effort in killing Rai.

“Your talent is extremely high so we can’t let you go and die for nothing. Those bastards from the Silver Oak Sect must have made those shitty kids into some kinds of impenetrable fortresses. The Asura Bone sword is of extreme importance to the Silver Oak Sect. You will die without a doubt, if by chance you encounter any of them inside the Ancient Legacy Land,” Danr said as he tried explaining why they didn’t mind committing such a dishonorable act.

“Grandpa, I have to get that Asura Bone sword at all costs,” Ryan said emphatically.

“Have you gone insane? You could never take that sword for yourself as long as the Silver Oak Sect exists. If by chance you were able to get hold of it, then it would cause the end of the Grandura branches of both the family clans,” Sheldon scolded Ryan extremely harshly. He knew the terror of the Silver Oak Sect quite well.

“Grandpa, I don’t have a Sword shaped Martial-Spirit,” Ryan said, as he knew now that he would have to tell them a few things about Death sword.

“What do you mean?” Sheldon asked somewhat taken aback. Brian and Danr were no different. Soon there were perplexed expression on their faces, as they were unable to understand Ryan’s words.

“I once found an ancient sword, which was actually not a sword but a Sword Demon and he formed a Demon contract with me. He became my Life Weapon after he formed a Demon contract with me. It was like he’d become my Martial Spirit but at the same time not, because of which I gained all the benefits which generally a person with a Sword-shaped Life Weapon would have,” Ryan said with a sly smile. He was lying with a straight face, as he knew that Sheldon and company wouldn’t be able to verify it.

Danr, Sheldon and Brian had stunned looks on their face as they were having an extremely hard time digesting what Ryan had just told them.

&
nbsp; “The Sword Demon was also not a simple one, as he was once the weapon of an Asura. He was born out of the blood and flesh of an Asura. His master had already died, so to continue living he had no choice but to form a Demon contract with me. He’d tried to form a Demon contract with countless beings, but they all died no matter how high their Cultivation Levels were. He told me that the only reason I survived was due to my having an Asura Dragon physique. Currently, his soul is severely injured and it needs an immense amount of resources and tens of millions of years to heal. He is only able to fight at his full power for a few minutes. He thinks that if he can absorb that Asura Bone sword into his body, there’s a chance he will completely recover from his injuries as well as regain his former strength. He was also the one that found about Ishan and company when I had previously requested him to find the Martial Artist in Calamity Sect that possessed Undying Beast Martial Spirit so that I could eliminate that Martial Artist to ensure Shana’s safety though he was unable to find that Martial Artist in the end,” Ryan added as an evil smile appeared on his face. He knew that Sheldon, Danr and Brian were bound to ask him soon or later how he was able to gather information regarding Ishan and company. So, he had decided to put all the blame on Death Sword.

The breathing of Sheldon, Danr and Brian became uneven as they looked at Ryan with shocked expressions. They tried to speak a few times, but no words came out of their mouths. What Ryan had told them was just too shocking. They now finally knew who had saved Shawn and company.

Sheldon, Brian and Danr couldn’t help but look at each other after regaining their composures. It was clear to Ryan that they were discussing something mentally.

“Can we talk to him?” Danr asked once he and his companions were done discussing the matter at hand.

“He is currently in a deep sleep-state due to his injuries and he doesn’t like to be woken up until I truly need his help,” Ryan said solemnly.
