My eyes slammed shut. “Yes, Tony. You are the only man who has ever eaten my pussy!”

His tongue circled my clit until my body shook. “Oh,

Tony!” My eyes opened, staring at my body’s response to his tongue skills. Chills tingled my spine. Tony’s tongue slid up my body. He circled his tongue around each of my dark areolas. His back hunched, while sucking my nipple he slid into me, hard. His teeth dug into the skin on the side of my breast. Tony lightly leaned against me, taking my lips. He held my thigh under my knee, drilling into me. My hands found his tight sexy ass pushing him inside me over and over again.

“Lift your other leg Nadine.” His balls slapped my ass as his cock stretched my walls to new heights.

“I love you so much, Nadine.”

I stared into his crystal blue eyes. His facial features were soft. I saw the vulnerability in his eyes. I was his everything. Without me Tony is just an assassin. A rarity for my man. He appears angry most times.

  “I love you too Tony.”

He flipped me over on all fours. Tony sat back on his knees, gripping my waist, sliding my wet pussy down his irresistible cock. My body shuddered at how good his dick felt.

“Are you ok?” his deep voice penetrated my ear drum.

“Yes, Tony.” I stretched my arms around his neck taking his lips. Our kiss was soft and sensual. Did it take today for us to admit how hurt we were without each other over the years for us to finally express our deep love for each other. My baby, wrapped his arms around my belly. It was a beautiful sight. Making love to my man as he held us in his arms. A sight I would never forget.

“Lean forward Kitten.” On all fours, I purred for the lion who ravished my loins.

I couldn’t even form entire words, he was fucking me so good. Tony hovered over me, gripping my breasts, slamming into me from behind. His lips gently circled my back.

“Nadine! Fuck! shit! This pussy is good as fuck!” he yelled through gritted teeth.

My body jerked as I slammed back onto his hard dick cumming all over his cock.

“God, that was amazing!” My chest rose and fell. I slumped over on the mattress. Tony fell at my side pulling me into his arms. His fingers traced through my black hair. “You are so beautiful.”

I planted my lips against the new tattoo over his heart.

“Take a nap, baby. The barber will be here soon. I need to get ready for the party my woman is not attending with me.”

  “Baby, don’t do that.”

“I’m just joking.” He kissed my hair then stood, walking across the spacious tan bedroom into the bathroom.

  CHAPTER FORTY-FIVE

  NADINE

I stood in only his red T-shirt at the front door seeing Tony off. His entourage was parked out front. The bright headlights beamed down the street. I wanted to peel the form fitting tux off of his sexy body. I smiled running my hands over his smooth face. His hair was long on top and short around the sides stopping at the nap of his neck. Tony shielded me. His hand slipped under the T-shirt, slapping my bare ass.

“There will be two guards walking the property. Put on a pair of shorts. I don’t want them getting any free views of what belongs to me.”

  “I got it.”

“Take a nap while I’m gone. When I come home, I’m going to fuck you again.” He kissed me all over my dark chocolate face.

  “Alright. Have fun Tony.”

He pushed me back inside the house so I couldn’t be seen half naked.

  ∞

While Tony was at the party, I cooked dinner for myself in the bright state-of-the-art kitchen. This kitchen is bigger than the one in L.A. Chomping on a slice of grilled chicken I strolled past the front window peeking. I noticed the two men standing out front talking amongst themselves. My cell lit up in my hand. It was probably sick patient calls. I answered the call and sure enough I was right.

Those calls came in steady most of the night. No time for a nap. I laid in bed with my laptop open at my side, researching the patients charts on every call. My phone rang again. This time it was Tony.

Hey baby, I have company coming over. Put some clothes on.

How dressed do I need to be? I’m wearing a T-shirt and shorts.

He laughed loudly. Nadine, completely dressed.

  Ok.

I disconnected the call. I slipped into a pair of dark maternity jeans and a pink T-shirt.

“Nadine! Nadine!” Tony’s voice carried through the house.

“Here she is,” Tony stated as I slowly walked down the staircase.

The woman’s head snapped back at the sound of my footsteps.

“Tony, you failed to mention your guest is the beautiful Sierra Crawford. Ex-wife of two-time Super bowl champion.” I smiled warmly. My arms widened, moving toward Sierra. She leaned down, embracing me.

“It’s very nice to meet you Nadine.”

Tony cleared his throat as Sierra stepped back. “Nadine, this is Dillon’s fiancée.”

“Oh!” My smile dropped and my hand flew over my mouth. “I’m sorry. I went on and on about your ex and you’re engaged to Tony’s cousin.” Nervously, I ran my hand over my belly.

“It’s ok. I’m used to it. Dillon hates it though. Sometimes

I think he wants to marry me so he can change my last name.”

  We laughed.

“How far along are you?” She glanced at my stomach.

  “Five months.”

“Congratulations! I’m two months pregnant myself.”

“Thank you and congratulations to you too.”

“Ladies, have a seat on the sofa. I will get you both a glass of water.” Tony grabbed my hand placing his other hand on the small of my back, assisting me to the sofa.

“Tone, can you start the tea kettle?”

  “Sure.”

“Is tea ok?” I asked settling into the leather sofa.

“That would be nice.” She sat at the other end of the comfortable soft leather sofa.

  “How was Dillon’s party?”

“It was nice until his jealousy ruined the night. That’s why I’m here.” Sierra’s sparkling clutch kept buzzing.

  “I know it’s Dillon calling.”

“Girl, Magarelli men are very jealous. You better get used to it.” I leaned in close. “They won’t allow another man to sniff around their woman.”

“This man showed up at my medical conference in L.A. six months ago. Mind you, I haven’t seen him in fourteen years.”

  Her eyes widened a bit.

“He basically came back into my life and shut down my dating life.” I bowed my head, waving my hand. My short jet-black pony tail shook from side to side.

“If he was able to do that, sounds like you still loved him.”

“Yeah, you’re right. I never stopped loving him. I struggled to move on with my life. Talking to him that day was like old times.” My eyes sparkled when I reminisced about me and Tony.

“I wish you would have attended the party. Maybe my new best friend, Marco, wouldn’t have gotten into it with Dillon.”

My mouth dropped open. “You think he is going to let you have a male friend?”

Her lips turned upward. “I don’t know. I hope he calms down and gets over it. I only love him. I’m not interested in another man. Hell, I gave up my life to be with Dillon.”

“Sorry, I didn’t put two and two together when you arrived. Tony told me Dillon was engaged to a woman when he lived in Portland. He never told me your name.”

  “Surprise!” She chuckled.

I laughed. “I’ll show you around New Jersey. There are so many amazing festivals we can hit this summer. We’re going to have a blast! You can even bring your new bestie, Mob Boss of Jersey City, along.”

She threw her head back laughing.

Sierra leaned into my ear. “How do you know that?”

“It’s ok, Sierra. You don’t have to whisper. Tony informed me about all the families years ago. This is going to be fun. Fin
ally, I have someone to talk to about the mafia life. Tony and I were once like Bonnie and Clyde.”

Tony placed two cups of tea before us. “Baby, don’t scare Sierra. She is new to this life.” He winked.

“I hope you like Berry Hibiscus tea,” Tony stated.

“One of my favorites. Thank you,” Sierra said.

“Thanks, Tone.” My phone began buzzing. “Excuse me, I need to take this, I’m on call.”

  She nodded.

  The night air felt refreshing.

  Hello, Anthony.

Hey, Mom. You said you would call back in an hour.

Sorry I’ve been swamped with sick calls.

Ok. Auntie Sheree is sleep on the couch.

Is she sleeping with the book over her face again?

  We laughed.

Yeah. The book is moving up and down when she breathes.

  We burst into laughter again.

Ok let’s get serious. I have to get back to these calls. Are you going to sleep or playing another game before you turn in?

One more game Mom, I promise.

I laughed, glancing back through the window. I turned my attention to the pool.

  I love you. Goodnight Anthony.

  Good night Mom.

  I disconnected the call.

Staring into the beautiful water a little longer I pondered on the upcoming turn of events. Our lives will change forever tomorrow.

  CHAPTER FORTY-SIX

  NADINE

Softly I placed my hand on her shoulder. Instinctively, she jerked her shoulder back. Her glossy eyes stared into my dark ones.

“It’s ok, Sierra.” I pulled her into my arms. “Dillon and Jeff are one and the same.”

“Sierra, on the bright side, he’ll take you to all the benefits you wish to attend. That’s mainly what our family does. We negotiate with the rich. You know, make them see things our way.” Tony winked.

  Sierra laughed, shaking her head.

“It’s going to take some time to get adjusted to my new life. In time I will be fine.”

I rubbed her arm. “You will.”

Tony glanced at his cell. “Your fiancé is calling again. He’s going to lose his mind. Are you ready to see him?”

  “Not yet.”

He sighed, scratching his head. “All right.”

“Tone, go relax. I’ll get Sierra settled in one of the guest rooms.”

He stood to his feet, towering over us. “Baby, are you sure?”

  “Yeah.”

“All right.” He walked behind the sofa, leaned over kissing my lips.

I smiled bright watching him disappear up the stairs.

  “Take off your shoes Sierra.

Make yourself comfortable.” I stood. “Follow me.”

She whipped off her shoes. Clutch in one hand, stilettos in the other as she followed me up the wide staircase.

I leaned in closer as we walked down the hall. “It’s surreal being back in Tony’s life. I never thought I would see him again. While Tony and I dated, he told me we couldn’t ever be in a relationship. I told him I wasn’t looking for anything serious either. We lied to ourselves.

Whenever Tony and I spent time together there was a magnetic connection drawing us closer. The day of the planned accident was pure torment on me and Tony.

Our non-relationship was over. Truth is I wanted the world with him.” I rubbed my stomach. “Now look at me,” I sniffled. “I’m pregnant.”

Sierra smiled, rubbing my arm. “Nadine, I’m truly happy for you. We are going to tear up Newark and do some baby shopping!”

“Sounds good!” I clicked the button on the bedside lamp. “I’ll bring some personal items and let you get some rest.”

  “Thank you again Nadine.”

“Hey, what are friends for?” I exited the bedroom.

After gathering some personal items for Sierra, I returned placing the items on the bathroom counter.

  “Goodnight Sierra.”

  “Goodnight Nadine.”

  I pulled the door closed.

I strolled down the hall climbing into bed. Tony sat on the edge of the bedhead in his hands talking to Dillon on the phone. Tony was partially dressed in his tuxedo pants and an undershirt.

“Dillon I will let you in. I’m coming down.”

He disconnected the call. Tony leaned over the bed. “Baby, get some sleep.”

  His soft lips caressed mine.

  “Ok, good night.”

Tony pulled me into his arms in the middle of the night. I didn’t want him to let me go.

  ~

Our morning was busy. I met Dillon for the first time. I reassured Sierra we would have fun this summer.

While we ate the small breakfast I prepared for us, Tony rambled on about he and Gio having the opportunity to talk last night. I tried focusing on his words but my thoughts were focused on the drama that would soon unfold.

  My cell rang. I answered.

My patient's husband called, informing me her water broke. I told him I would meet them at the hospital.

“Tony, I have to leave. My patient’s water broke. I need to get to the hospital.” I packed up my laptop, grabbed my purse, and slipped into my clogs.

“Can one of the guys drive me to the hospital?”

Tony stood. “Of course, I will walk you to the door.”

Tony swung the front door open. “Franco, come here a sec.”

  Franco approached. “Yes, Tone.”

“Hey, I need you to drive Nadine to the hospital. She has to deliver a baby.”

  “Sure thing. I’ll be waiting.”

  I nodded.

  He stepped away.

I turned to Tony stroking his bare face. “I love you. I need you to know, I love you with all my heart.”

His confused blue eyes stared back.

  “What’s wrong?”

  He clutched my stomach.

“There is a special package waiting for you at my house. Call Cruz he will give you the address. I want you to know I appreciate all you’ve done for me. Cruz is like a brother to me. He’s watched out for me over the years. I can never thank you enough.”

His eyebrows rose and fell. “Nadine, is something wrong? You know, I can wait until you are done at the hospital, then we can go together.”

“No, it’s better this way.” A single tear slid down my face. I pressed my lips against his.

  “Goodbye.”

The sun hit my bear arms the moment I stepped out of the house. Summer is always beautiful in New Jersey. One of my favorite seasons. The beauty surrounding me didn’t help my dreary heart. I didn’t look back as I walked climbing into the back seat of the truck.

  I called Cruz.

  Hey, Nadine.

Good morning, Cruz. Tony will be over today. I was going to join him but I have to deliver a baby.

  He sighed. Alright, Nadine.

  Thank you, again Cruz.

  You’re welcome.

  I disconnected the call.

Right now, I needed to get my head in the game so I’m ready for the baby delivery.

  CHAPTER FORTY-SEVEN

  TONY

I’m not sure what happened this morning. Nadine’s mood has been up and down since yesterday. I drove through the gate down the tree-lined street of Nadine’s beautiful subdivision. I parked the suburban in the driveway of the large, modern, two-story, light gray home. The lawn and small shrubs were perfectly manicured leading up the path toward the double doors.

Special package. What could it be? Cruz appeared calm when he and I spoke. I didn’t feel the need to be alarmed.

My chest tightened as I knocked on the front door. Cruz swung open the large double doors.

  “Hey, Tony. Come in.”

It’s crazy to think fourteen years has passed. He was a kid when he began taking care of Nadine. We stood staring back at each other dressed in light colors. Cruz was bulkier than I remember. Made me think he worked out just as much as I do. His blond and
brown hair was cut short. Cruz also sported a low-cut brown mustache.

He wore a tan dress shirt folded under the elbows, the brown slacks and brown loafers made his appearance sharp. I wore a checkered blue and white dress shirt also folded under the elbows. White slacks and brown loafers completed my look. My appearance spoke wealthy business man, of course. So, did Cruz’s.

“Hello, Cruz.” I stepped inside. My eyes darted around the living room to my right, then toward the dining room on my left. Off the atrium was a pretty dark stair case leading to the second level. Glancing to the right, straight ahead I noticed the large commercial kitchen.

“Have a seat. I will grab the package.” Cruz disappeared up the dark stairs.

I sat in a white high-back chair close to the door, staring at the cherry floor boards. The home was light and airy.

I heard footsteps running down the stairs. I glanced to my left toward Cruz and the tall kid under his arm.

I stood walking in their direction.

As I stepped closer looking into the kid’s face, I noticed his eyes were the same as mine, color and shape.

“Tony, I would like to introduce you to Anthony Carlos Barlow.”

My heart stopped and my mouth dropped open. I didn’t have any words. Hell, I was speechless? Doesn’t happen often. This is the second time Nadine has made me speechless.

“Hello Sir,” the kid smiled. His hand stretched toward me.

“Hello, my name is Anthony Carlos Magarelli.” I shook his hand.

His eyebrows wrinkled. His confused eyes darted between me and Cruz.

“You have a firm grip,” I mustered a smile.

Cruz placed his hands on Anthony’s shoulders. “This is your father.”
