Wayne dabbed at the corner of his eye with his napkin. “Thank you.”
“Thank you,” I said. “After all, it was you that pushed me to go home. You are somewhat responsible for getting us back together.”
He laughed. “I was only giving you the advice a very wise person gave me a long time ago.”
I knew who that person was. It was Oliver. Oliver had gotten Damion and me together by proxy.
I hoped he was up in heaven looking down and feeling satisfied with his work.
