Six Feet Under

His gaze darted down, watching my hand closely while still sitting comfortably on the couch.

"What did you have in mind?" I asked quietly, leaning closer to him.

Hunter turned back to me with a mischievous smirk, "I was thinking bagels, but you clearly have something else in mind, don't you, doll?"

I let out a small laugh, pulling my hand away from his thigh and leaning against the backrest while my side was basically right against his. I couldn't help but stay this close to him, even though the couch was huge.

"Bagels work too, I guess," I grinned and he nudged me gently.

"Wait there, babe," Hunter then got up and headed back into the kitchen to make us bagels.

I pulled my phone out and, with SpongeBob still on the tv, texted him.

To: Hunter: hurry back, big boy ;)

From: Hunter: didn't we establish yesterday, and very early this morning, that I'm not a boy?

To: Hunter: if you want me to consider you a man you're gonna have to work a little harder..

From: Hunter: making you coffee and bagels isn't enough?

To: Hunter: Well, I haven't received any bagels yet, as far as I'm aware...

From: Hunter: calm down, give me a minute x

I returned to watching SpongeBob and jumped a little when he rounded the couch and sat back down next to me suddenly, eyes strictly on the tv as he handed me a bagel on a napkin. He also had one for himself, and began eating.

We ended up being closer than I'd thought, but oh well.

"Do you have a safe-word?" His sudden question made me snort in amusement and almost choke on my bagel, before his seriousness calmed me down.

  "Uh... why?"

Hunter shrugged, looking back at the TV.

"So I know when you really need me to stop."

Wow, okay, he definitely wasn't messing around. For me it was more exciting than scary.

Last night (or early this morning, more like), he had stopped to ask me if I wanted him to stop after I'd been telling him I couldn't do it anymore. It was the right thing for him to ask, and since I had given him the free pass, he had been free to proceed.

I admired his jawline and sharp features, before speaking.

"I've never needed a safe-word before," I admitted, slowly eating the delicious filled bagel he'd made me, "so I don't have any words."

"See?" He shot me a teasing smirk, "that's what happens when you only fuck with little boys in your year, Wills."

I giggled and rolled my eyes at him, "you're only two years older, anyway, so it isn't such a big difference at the end of the day."

"You think?" Hunter asked, amused, "can you honestly tell me that's true?"

I just shrugged, looking away with a smile as he hummed victoriously.

"How do you feel about traffic lights for safewords?" He then asked randomly, still as calm and cool as always.

I furrowed my brows, "so, red, as in stop?"

Did he do this with all the girls he had sex with?

"Exactly," he nodded, "and yellow for slower, and green for go."

"How about avocado?" I suggested, earning a laugh from Hunter as he looked at me with amusement.

"Avocado?" He asked, and I nodded.

"Isn't that a pretty hard word to remember when-" he grinned, and I huffed.

"I thought it would be interesting."

"Reconsider the traffic lights, baby. They'll work easier," he lifted up one arm to throw it over my shoulders, tugging me against his side.

I was definitely not yet used to being like this with Hunter fucking Reid - especially as we were now seriously thinking of a safe-word(s) for us.

"I guess they'd be fine," I spoke casually, trying to not let him witness any of the excitement I had over all of this. I was fucking Hunter Reid.

"Great. Are you free tomorrow evening?" He the asked, and I furrowed my brows since it was a Sunday evening with school the next day.

"What were you thinking?" I pursued.

"I have two options," Hunter began, giving me a side smile, "there's this outdoor movie theatre place where a lot of my friends are going out for dates since there's a movie that you chicks really love, playing this Sunday."

"And what movie is it?" I asked, finishing the bagel.

"The Notebook," he replied, and I scowled.

"I don't like that movie, Hunter."

He chuckled, "kinda knew you wouldn't. But you'll love the second option."

He even added a wink to the end, leaving me complete putty against his side. I hummed, waiting for him to continue.

"You wanna sneak into the children's zoo with me? It's super easy, and the animals are cute."

I grinned, "aren't you supposed to be a man, here?"

Hunter rolled his eyes and forced back a smile that was breaking through on his lips, "we could try and sneak into the proper zoo, but I'm pretty positive we'd get caught..."

"Well baby goats are my favourite animal, so..." I shrugged, "I guess it's a date, then."

Hunter had his phone on his knee, so when it buzzed with a message I was easily able to read it.

From: President: you're needed at the clubhouse now, H.

  Hunter

Was I too hopeful to think Willow hadn't seen the text? I don't know. I had immediately grabbed my phone and cleared the notification, though, so she had no way of seeing it after that.

At the moment I was on my way to the clubhouse, feeling slightly pissed off at myself for not being able to resist the urge and was now involved sexually with my best friend's little fucking sister.

I was supposed to take this slow, build trust and shit. A quick relationship.

But I sure as hell wasn't mad about the sex. It was fucking mind blowing and I couldn't stop thinking about it.

I arrived at the clubhouse and parked my car outside it. As I began walking towards the entrance, I received messages from both Alex and Willow.

From: Alex: You already left, dude? Shit, well see you at school

To: Alex: Prez called me in. Sorry, man.

From: Willow: come over again soon

  To: Willow: definitely

I said a quick hello to the guard at the door before walking into the dim bar and club area.

A few guys in classic leather biker outfits were drinking away their pain at the bar, with a few women around them.

I chatted with Timmy, the bartender, a little, before greeting a few of my biker friends in the bar. I then made my way to the dark staircase at the side, leading up to the area meant only for members.

"Hunter, finally," Prez called from a room with a cloud of smoke floating above the ten men, who were sitting at a round wooden table.

I sat next to him on a black leather chair, giving the men small nods.

"Where the hell were you, man? Getting your dick wet?" Oliver nudged my side, joking.

I shot him a small grin, and he raised his brows with a chuckle.

I shrugged, smirking lightly to myself while a woman in only a thong placed a shot of vodka in front of each member on the table.

I definitely didn't kiss and tell. Especially when it had been with Alex's kid sister...

Once the woman had left and closed the doors behind her, Prez began.

"We need to start expanding without crossing paths with the Baines," Prez - AKA Thomas Green - told us.

I was honestly tired of us wanting more and more territory to be able to work in. We already owned dozens of clubs around the city as well as undercover markets and tattoo shops. It was crazy and illegal, yet good money.

"Do we really need to expand?" I asked, leaning back in the black leather chair as Oliver handed me a cig, "we already have a shit ton of territory and it's just more trouble—"

"It's not more trouble, Hunter," Prez shot me a small look, "we're getting more recruits every day now and we need to stay in front of the other gangs."

I hated when he called us a gang. I had joined a few years ago, when I was yo
ung and naïve - and definitely wanted to be cool as hell - but once I'd seen them killing others and doing anything to get their way, I didn't feel so rad about being here anymore.

Why not leave? Because I'd signed a contract. And because if I did, they'd most likely kill me. It was very dramatic, I know, but two more months and the contract will expire and I will be free to move on with my life.

"Sure," I mumbled quietly, lazily sitting at the chair and smoking my cigarette.

Prez continued on with whatever new ideas he had as all the men in the room listened closely; expect me.

They were afraid of Prez, sure. He was the leader of whatever you want to call this shit and a very powerful man.

I've never been afraid to test limits with him; since I've seen him almost daily at school for the last three years.

Besides, he had a soft spot for my ass since I was the second youngest here. Only Oliver was two years younger than me and actually in Willow's grade.

Most of these men were 30 going on 40, but I still had managed to fit in pretty well and become friends with them.

At some point we had all taken the vodka shots and agreed to spend this evening at the clubhouse's club. Not just members came there; everyone did.

Tonight would be full of women, booze and partying. I would most likely find one of the women and bring her to my room at the clubhouse for something fun...

My mind drifted off to what would happen tonight as the President talked, which was a little hard since Willow kept on popping up in the midst of my plans.

"Oli and Hunter," Prez spoke, and my head darted up to his.

He definitely knew I hadn't been paying any fucking attention, but didn't seem to mind.

"Yeah?" Oliver cleared his throat from my other side. I finished my cigarette.

"I want you two to go take care of a few of Baine's men that have been seen on our territory," he told us. "I'll give you their location later—"

"Take care?" A slow smirk was forming onto my lips.

Prez laughed and shook his head, "don't kill them. Just give them a good warning, how's that?"

I shrugged and nodded, glancing at Oliver who was doing the same, "sure."

And with that, Prez still had a few more jobs for the older guys, while I drifted off again.

Why was I now questioning tonight; if I needed a fuck there was plenty of people to choose from.

Cindy was totally still up for it and so were a few dozen chicks from my year.

The beautiful women that were going to be at the club tonight were older than me, but it honestly didn't show physically when we would get down to it.

None of the females above would ever be seen wearing oversized flannel pyjamas, so why was the image of Willow in them not leaving my mind?

Just then, my phone buzzed with a few new messages. Two definitely caught my eye. They were from Willow and Cindy.

From: Cindy: come over tonight, boo<3 we need to talk xx

She probably regretted breaking up with me and wanted to get back together. I was done with real relationships at the moment, but a quick fuck wouldn't hurt.

From: Willow: how do you feel about sneaking into my room tonight?

Well, fuck me. I guess I really needed to choose between staying here with the women, my ex, and also my best friend's little sister.

After breaking a few fingers from the Blaines, Oliver and I headed back to the clubhouse.

"Jesus, he screamed like a bitch," Oliver shook his head with an amused chuckle.

"He did," I agreed with a forming grin. I ran a hand through my hair as slightly disturbing images of the fear in Blaine's guys' eyes were displayed in my head.

"You staying the night here?" He asked me as I toyed with my phone on my lap.

I still hadn't sent a reply to either Cindy or Willow, even as it was getting late now. I had decided a few hours ago though, that I wouldn't be staying at the clubhouse tonight.

"Nope," I told him, "just saying hi to Prez for a minute and I'm off."

Oliver parked in front of the dark clubhouse, which was as loud and alive as it would get.

As soon as I stepped out of the car, I heard the music which sounded clear due to the long line of people - who wanted to get in - keeping the door open.

I stuck my hands in the front of my jeans and made my way towards the entrance. Jameson, the bouncer, and I caught up a bit before I walked inside; leaving the people queuing annoyed.

The club area was now full of bikers, women and music. Also people from outside were let in, but only within a certain criteria.

"Prez," I spoke as I walked up to the bar. He was sitting on a stool with a few of our men and a couple of women surrounding him.

His head turned towards me and he gave me a wide smile, "Hunter! How's it going?"

He seemed a little drunk, as people parted a way for me to walk to him.

"Good," I nodded with a small chuckle.

Timmy, the bartender, handed me a shot of some clear alcohol and nodded towards a woman in the corner with her friends, looking at me.

She gave me a seductive expression and I raised the shot as a thank you before downing it and turning back to Prez.

"Oli and I took care of a few of Blaine's men," I told him over the loud music and chatting. He gave me a sturdy pat on the back, pulling me closer to him at the same time.

"Good boys," he nodded, drinking a large pint of beer, "how would you like to take my place in a few years, huh?"

I raised my brows at the slightly drunk man. Me, as President? I don't think so. As I've said before, this was just temporary.

"We'll see," I shrugged, sticking my hands into the front pockets of my jeans before I felt an arm loop around my neck.

I turned my head and grinned as I saw a very drunk Zack smiling loonily at me.

"What's up?" I chuckled while his arm pulled away from my neck and he held onto the bar counter for support instead.

"The ladies are fucking tearing me apart out there," he sighed, and I laughed. He was so wasted.

"It's a hard life, Z," I shrugged, amused. He nodded in agreement, calling Timmy over to give him another shot.

I hung around there for a bit, talking to friends and a few women who'd come over, before deciding it was time to leave.

I left the clubhouse at around 11PM and began driving towards her house.

I turned on a random radio station and jammed to an unknown reggae song.

I parked a few houses down from hers before getting out and walking along the sidewalk. It was seriously dark and, if I hadn't been to her house multiple times before, I wouldn't have been able to find it.

I walked up to the large tree beside their house, and easily and swiftly climbed up it.

Once I was at the roof underneath her window, I stepped onto it and walked towards the light coming from her room.

I was about to turn back when I realised this might be a bad idea, until I saw her sitting on her bed, scrolling through her phone. She was wearing soft looking short-shorts and a simple white tank-top, her hair in loose curls down her shoulders.

I crouched down in front of the window and tapped it a few times gently.

She jumped a little and her eyes snapped over to meet with mine. I gave her an amused grin while she seemed to let out a deep breath and small laugh before getting up and walking towards the window.

She shook her head with a smile while opening the window for me.

Once I reasoned I was able to, I jumped swiftly inside, making sure not to make too much noise when I landed.

I turned to her and watched as she closed the window; small goosebumps appearing on her skin from the cold breeze.

"Evening," I spoke up as she turned to me with a sweet smile.

  "Shoes off, Hunter."

I let out a small chuckle and took off my shoes, placing them under the closed window.

"Nice to see you too, sugar."

  Endeared, I w
atched as Willow made her way back to her bed and sat down. Why was she acting so chill if this was basically a bootycall?
