iRemember

Thanks are belatedly due to all my teachers and university professors, who nurtured my academic writing before I threw away all their good advice and decided to write fiction instead. You have my greatest respect and gratitude.
Some of my very best teachers were made of paper. I was inspired by the work of a huge and varied pool of authors and academics while composing iRemember: writers both ancient and modern, and far too many to name here. However, I would like to give a special mention to the work of Philip K. Dick, whose iconic fiction readers will doubtless see reflected in so much of the text, especially the name I gave to Polymnesia: ‘Total Recall’. Some might even remember an eponymous 90s film based on We Can Remember it for you Wholesale.
Finally I want to say thank you to my family and my partner Leandros. Your faces are imprinted on all my best memories. Thanks for giving me space to write when I needed it, and supporting me in so many ways. You all believed in me even when I didn’t. I couldn’t have written iRemember, or done anything else really, without you.
Thank you all so very, very much!
As a parting thought I’d like to address anyone reading this who has an impossible pipe dream. If I can do it, you can. You just have to find the right pipes.
