“Guess you can’t be quiet, huh?” I tease. “What shall I do with you?”

“I can take a wild guess.”

Moving her hair away from her ear, I lean in to whisper, “I’m going to fuck you now. It’s going to be hard, and you’re going to scream.”

Her body is waiting, the goosebumps forming along her precious skin. My fingers glide between her thighs, she’s soaking wet again, just how I like it.

My hand is wrapped around my cock, just the slightest touch causes me to moan. I slide myself in nice and hard, watching her arch her back as her knees begin to shake. I fucking love when her knees shake.

  “Olly…”

“Shhh,” I whisper. “I’m not coming in here.”

The tightness of her pussy feels like heaven. This is fucking torture. Come on, your cock should be able to hold out for a couple more minutes. Don’t fucking come.

Placing my hands on her shoulders, I push her against the bed, gripping tightly as I continue to thrust into her. Sweat is dripping off my forehead, and unable to control my thirst, I slam harder while I lower my hand, sliding it against her clit. It’s perfect, just the way I like it—pink and swollen. I want it in my mouth.

  I want everything right now.

  But time is running out.

  I’m struggling to hold back.

“Are you ready?” I ask, pulling myself out and sliding it against her arse.

She releases a breath, nodding without a word.

  “Are you sure?”

Gabriella’s hand moves behind her back, stroking my shaft. She pushes herself up onto all fours, spreading her arse keeping me completely in view.

  Fuck.

My cock is dripping with her juices. I rub the tip and shaft against her hole. Her moans escape, and slowly, I slide myself in, cherishing her tightness around my hardened cock.

I place my hand on her lower back, rubbing it gently to calm her nerves.

As soon as I’m fully in, she begins to rock back and forth. Her skin against mine is making this delicious sound, and as I lean in to rub her swollen clit again, my cock goes in deeper, and her body shakes instantly.

“Olly… I’m not going to last long.”

She grabs the pillow, biting down as she muffles her screams. I’m fucking seeing stars, exploding inside her as the sensations ravages every part of me. I let out a deep, rumbling groan, tightening my grip on her shoulders. I don’t want to hurt her, but the marks I’ve left are red.

Our heavy pants echo through the confined room, and with a gentle kiss on her shoulder, I ease my way out slowly causing her to flinch.

At this time, she loves me with her eyes, our souls mingling in the quiet moments between action and stillness. My fingers loosely wrap around hers, bringing it to my lips, and I kiss her knuckles.

The morning sunlight has radiated warmth throughout the bedroom. I don’t know what I want more caught between the intoxication of the climax or extending a moment I never want to end.

Beside me, she checks the time, reminding me I have a training session in an hour before telling me she needs to use the bathroom.

“You okay?” I ask, helping her off the bed.

With a wicked smile, she leans forward, kissing my lips. “I think we found a new contender.”

She walks with a purposeful sway in her hips, closing the bathroom door behind her. I continue to lay on my back, closing my eyes and relinquishing the moment between us. Gabriella is nothing like I imagined. She’s always willing to try anything and succumb to my fantasies which then become her own. With the wall between us broken into tiny pieces, we’re very vocal when it comes to our personal demands. Basically, I want to be inside her all the time, and when she complains she’s sore but still wants intimacy, she gives me the most epic blow job.

My phone rings on the bedside table, the number, an international code, prompts me to hop out of bed.

“I need to take this,” I yell, quickly placing my boxers on.

I make my way to the lounge room, closing the bedroom door behind me. Moving toward the balcony, I answer the call.

  “Hello, Oliver speaking?”

  “Mr. Madden, it’s Karl.”

  “Hey, Karl.”

“Is now a good time to talk?”

Gabriella’s still using the bathroom, but for how long, I am unsure.

“If you can make it short.”

“The client accepted the offer. It’s all yours if you want it.”

The bedroom door opens, and Gabriella strolls into the room wearing only her lacy nighty which she knows sets me off. I’m losing concentration again staring at her lean legs which are proving to be a big distraction.

“Yes, please. I’ll call you back.” I hang up, watching her move around the kitchen so effortlessly.

“So what does your girlfriend need to say? She misses you?”

“Ha-ha,” I deadpan. “Your jokes make me want to fuck you again.”

With a sly grin, she presses the start button on coffee machine and leans against the countertop eyeing me.

Gabriella leaves the kitchen moving to where I’m standing. Stopping in front of me, she runs her hands down my chest, toying with the tip of my boxers. She fucking knows I’m hard. Again. My dick’s insatiable when it comes to her.

“Well, here’s the thing, I’ve never considered myself a jealous woman, or selfish, but certain times warrant certain moments.”

I place my mouth on hers, sucking in her bottom lip. “I’m hungry,” I moan, dragging her down to the lounge and eagerly spreading her legs. I move my head between her legs, tasting her clit on my tongue. “Time to claim what’s mine… again.”

The night before a soccer game is my opportunity to take advantage of eating a large meal. We decide to dine at a restaurant in the Rocks, early enough so I can get a good night’s rest.

Gabriella has met my sister, Matilda, and together, they plan to watch a late movie then crash at her place over the bridge. I know Gabriella is worried her presence will distract me. Although I don’t want her anywhere else, I know this game will be one of my most important. It’s my comeback game, and I need to be one hundred and ten percent focused.

I settle for penne pasta with grilled chicken, balancing carbohydrates and protein, which is extremely important for a player’s diet the night before a game. These foods are broken down slowly and provide energy over a long period of time. Avoiding sugared drinks and alcohol, I stick to plain old water to keep hydrated, making it easier to remain that way tomorrow.

I’ve stuck to my previous match-day routine, preparing myself psychologically and physically. The morning’s spent with low-level activity, a great way to calm the anxious nerves building inside.

The afternoon has rolled around quickly, and after a pep talk in the locker room from coach, it’s only fifteen minutes until we will hit the field.

I’ve been waiting what feels like a lifetime for this moment.

I lower my head, praying silently my body will withstand the endurance.

We are going to win this game.

My body is built to play against the best of the best.

The other team barely had their shit together last season. My competitive streak is getting the better of me, and Coach’s words are ringing in my head to rein in my arrogant attitude.

But I don’t fucking care what he thinks.

Even if we do lose, I have it all.

‘All’ has a certain someone sitting in the crowd, ready to watch me play for the very first time.

And if everything goes according to plan, tonight will be the night.

In front of everyone in the stadium.

In front of everyone in Australia.

I want every person to watch as I officially make her mine.

  Gabriella

People watching at a soccer game is on another level.

The stadium is packed. It’s a sold-out event, which
according to Pa beside me, has everything to do with Olly being back on the field.

Olly’s Ma and Pa are everything he described them to be. Ma’s a doting mother always worrying about her son but not too overbearing which would drive him nuts.

Pa is every bit the man Olly said he is—strong, opinionated, and has the biggest heart. He loves to talk, and one thing always stands out—he’s damn proud of his only son. His exact words.

We met for lunch a few days ago, and according to Olly, they instantly fell in love with me. Meeting them sealed the deal, and if possible, it made me fall in love with him even more.

Our seats are right up the front, amongst other family members of the team.

The atmosphere is electrifying and tense, the music blaring through the speakers intensifying as the minutes count down.

According to Pa, the away supporters are segregated to one corner of the stadium. There’s not as many of them, yet both groups of supporters are vociferous in supporting their respective team.

The next ninety minutes is the most intense ninety minutes of my life.

  Olly’s on fire.

Pa’s fixated on the game, so every few minutes Ma explains to me exactly what’s happening. It’s all fast and furious, action-packed with drama and tension. There are near-misses, penalty shots, and undeserved abuse hurled at the referee.

By the last five minutes, I’ve almost bitten off all my nails. The crowd’s just anxious, glued to the field or big screen. The time is ticking over, and just when we think it’s a draw, Olly takes the ball off another player, gets past the attacker, and kicks it straight into the net, much to the disappointment of the goalie and the away fans.

The crowd jumps in glory. I squeal in delight, clapping my hands, watching Olly’s teammates pounce on him with pride. I’m so incredibly proud of him and had no idea how intense a game of soccer could feel.

The second they jump off him, his eyes scan the crowd until they gaze upon mine. He begins to walk toward me until a flock of reporters stop to interview him.

“Would you look at my boy?” Pa says with the proudest grin on his face. “Always knew he would bounce back. Just needed to find his feet again.”

Ma wraps her arm around me, placing her hand on my shoulder and bringing me in for a hug. “And find a reason to smile every day.”

I lean my head on her hand, welcoming the sentiment.

Inside my pocket, my phone begins to vibrate. I pull it out, and there’s an incoming FaceTime call from Aubrey.

I answer the call with enthusiasm. “Hey!”

Both Aubrey and Chance appear on the screen, grinning like fools. Just like me, they are proud of Olly. Chance told Olly he would stream the game since they couldn’t be here.

“Did you guys see Olly? He killed it!”

Chance nods in agreement and begins talking about the game, but it’s hard to hear him over the crowd noise. Beside him, Aubrey cannot wipe the grin off her face. She looks like she’s ready to burst with a surprise, and part of me wonders if she’s pregnant again.

Olly is leaning on the fence in front of me, drenched in sweat, face red with a satisfied smile.

I turn the phone around, giving Chance and Aubrey a moment to say hello.

“Hey, listen, guys, I’m going to go—”

“No, don’t go! Just hand the phone over to Ma,” Aubrey demands.

  What has gotten into her?

I pass the phone to Ma, shrugging my shoulders. I knew they met during their stay in Sydney, so I assume she wants to say hi.

With my full focus on Olly, I’m well aware fans have gathered around, desperate to grab an autograph and take a selfie. I lean over the fence, wrapping my hands around his neck and bringing him in for a long-awaited kiss. “I’m so proud of you,” I say, rubbing my nose against his. “You looked so happy in your element.”

“Do you know what would make me even happier?”

Tilting my head to the side, my slack expression stares back at him with curiosity.

His hands run down my arms, ending with them nestled into my own. With a glorious smile, he drops down on one knee, watching me steadily.

Oh. My. God. This can’t be happening.

Ma hands him a navy-blue box, and quickly thanking her, he perches it in the middle of his palm.

  Yep, it is happening.

I can feel my heartbeat, every single pound in my chest. It’s louder than the crowd around us, rapid and relentless, making it impossible to breathe. But the reason it’s hammering within my chest is because of the man standing in front of me.

  My love.

  My best friend.

  My soulmate.

“Everyone is watching us,” I whisper, unable to hide my nerves.

“The whole world needs to know you’re mine.” Olly clears his throat, biting on his bottom lip with slight nervousness until the corners of his mouth turn upward. “Gabriella, from the moment I saw you, I knew you weren’t like anyone else. You challenge me, make me a better person, and most importantly, you are my best friend.”

I bring my hand toward my chest as Olly snaps the box open, and inside buried in the matching navy cushion sits a platinum square-cut diamond ring. It’s breathtaking.

“I love you. No matter how much I’ve tried to stop loving you over the past year, it proved impossible. You are the air I breathe, and without you, I don’t know how to exist. Will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?”

Without hesitation, I repeatedly nod, unbeknown the tears have fallen down my cheeks—tears of pure joy.

The crowd erupts into loud applause, many whistling as Olly removes the ring from the box and slides it on my shaky finger. My brain stutters for a moment as my eyes admire the diamond ring, every part of me on pause while my thoughts catch up.

I raise my eyes to meet his gaze. “It’s perfect.”

  “Just like you.”

His lips brush mine. Not innocently like a tease, but hot, fiery, passionate, and demanding. I want to pull away before I lose myself in front of the crowd watching us, including his family, but savoring this moment means so much more than other people’s opinions.

As we slowly pull away from each other, Ma hands me back my phone, but not without the biggest hug and welcoming me to their family.

“You’ve made my son the happiest he’s ever been.” She beams with pride.

Even Pa pulls me in for an embrace. “Got me another daughter, eh?”

All of a sudden, I hear, “Hello, Gabbie… Gabbie!”

In the palm of my hand sits my phone with Aubrey and Chance still on FaceTime.

“Oh my God, you guys,” I shout excitedly. “Did you hear that?”

“We saw that.” Chance grins. “Congrats, Gabbo. Olly’s a pain in the arse, but he’s all yours now.”

“I’m so happy,” Aubrey squeals. “The proposal was perfect.”

“Your timing was impeccable, calling me at that moment.”

Her eyes widen, mouth pursed as she stares at me with a knowing gaze. She knew this was going to happen. Aubrey and Chance are like family to Olly, so it makes sense he would approach Aubrey for some guidance.

“Look at the ring.” I hold my hand toward the screen. “It’s stunning.”

“Harry Winston cushion-cut center stone framed by micropavé diamonds, set on a micropavé band,” she says, matter-of-factly.

I can’t help but laugh. “Thank you. And listen, I’ll call you guys tonight.”

“We love you. Chat later,” Aubrey says, waving goodbye.

Ma and Pa have finally released Olly from a group hug, and he motions for me to join him.

“Gabriella,” he whispers slowly, prolonging each letter as if to savor them.

I smile, my heart fluttering at his voice as I clasp my hands on either side of his face. “Yes, Oliver?”

“I have one more surprise for you… tonight.”

  “Does it involve edibl
e underwear? Don’t think I haven’t seen what’s sitting inside your closet.”

He kisses my lips, stopping himself from laughing. “No, it’s much better than that.”

We take a stroll along Sydney Harbour, holding hands and admiring the view.

On this warm sunny evening, the moonlight casts across the city. The harbour is dotted with hundreds of sailing boats, cruise boats, and ferries, their lights illuminating the dark water.

This has been the most magical week, and I never want it to end. Waking up beside a man I love with every fiber of my being is pure perfection.

“This is perfect. I can’t believe I’m here, with you, engaged. I’m in love with Australia.”

“I knew you would love it here, but you know, I also love being in the States. We can go back and forth.”

We haven’t talked much about our relationship moving forward, caught up in passionate lovemaking at every waking moment. Long distance will be extremely hard. I’ve committed myself to my work back home, and can’t let Aubrey down, yet Olly’s whole existence is here.

I stop mid-step, eager to gain clarification. “As in I live there, and you live here?”

“Do you really think I would be that far apart from you?”

  “Just checking… carry on.”

“So, I was thinking, if you’re keen, we stay here during my season, and off-season we live in the States.”

“But…” So many questions fill my mind. I don’t know where to begin. “I have my job.”

“About that…” He scratches his head, wincing as if he’s about to drop a bomb on me. “I’m kind of well off… rich, to be exact.”

  “Olly, I could never—”

“Listen, please,” he demands my attention. “I’ve always wanted to give back. I didn’t grow up in a wealthy family, and my schooling included scholarships and sports-related funding. I have all this money, but it’s pointless if I can’t help others. So, I was talking to Chance, and both he and I would like to open up our own soccer academy here in Australia. We would fight for government funding, of course, but want to invest our money into scholarships which will help less fortunate children.”
