Kyler was so in another world that he lay his head against his arm so caught up in the sensations spiking through him. Kash sucked him hard and took him deep with an intensity that made Kyler tremble and grow weak with the need for more. Kash’s strong grip held him so steady and aided him in thrusting harder and deeper as Kash nearly ate him alive. He and Gage had shared men before, but it had never been like this. Kash gave them power and control where others had never allowed it.

Suddenly the peak hit him, and he knew he could not hold on. “I’m coming.” He grated out between clenched teeth and all Kash did was suck harder and thrust faster pushing him to the edge so fast he lost it and came and Kash took it all.

Kash marveled at Kyler’s expressiveness and sheer energy. The moment he came Kash swallowed him down milking him for all he had tasting his essence and squeezing that fine ass while thrusting up hard into Gage’s tight channel and losing himself.

He held them both as he pumped fast and hard filling Gage with his seed while drinking Kyler dry. It was the crowning moment of his life making love to his twin beloveds tasting their lifeblood and hearing their cries as they came. Gage drenched Kash’s stomach with his warm essence moments after Kash crested and came. It was messy and magnificent.

Kyler slid out of his mouth and lean heavily against the headboard while catching his breath and Kash released his hold on that ass but wrapped his arm around him. Gage dropped forward and kissed Kash’s navel before moving up to lay beside him. Kash wrapped his other arm around Gage and pulled him close.

Eventually, Kyler pushed away from the headboard and slid down to cuddle against Kash’s other side. Kash pulled them both close and kissed each one before settling into a momentary stillness as his mind exploded with pride and possession. These two men belonged to him. Mind and body, they were his and he was theirs. It was a tremendous responsibility and one he relished.

Kash reached over and grabbed a couple of tissues and wiped his abdomen but took pleasure in the fact that he wore his beloved’s scent just as they wore his. “I need to tell you something.” He said and felt both men stiffen in his arms. “It’s nothing bad, it’s just that you deserve to be aware of how deep my feelings for you are before we take this any further.” They settled but Kash could still feel a level of uncertainty wafting between them.

“We’ve taken it pretty far already,” Gage commented. His blond head resting comfortably on Kash’s shoulder.

“Not as far as I want to take it,” Kash said.

“Do you want to feed on us?” Kyler asked. “We don’t mind. We haven’t had the experience before, but we trust you.” He added and Kash’s heart melted.

“Let me explain.” He said and then told them the truth. “I recognized you both when we first met. I didn’t realize it at the time, but my vampire instincts zeroed in on you and your needs and your safety. I didn’t understand my deep attraction or my compulsion to protect you from everything and everyone.” He ran his hands up and down their exposed arms comforting and easing any worry. Their bond had made some great strides forward in the past hour and he could now feel their emotions as they flowed through their consciousness.

“You, Kyler and Gage are my beloveds. It’s not often a vampire is gifted with two but the moment I tasted you there was no doubt you both belong to me. I’ve only been witness to one other case and that was a young wolf shifter who was the beloved of two vampires.” Kash tried to stay casual and informative but he could feel his beloved’s confusion building.

“I know what a beloved is,” Gage stated. “You believe Kyler and I are yours?”

“I don’t believe it, I know it. I tasted you both and that just solidified the fact that we belong to one another. Don’t you feel the connection between us growing? Can you feel me inside, my emotions?” Kash waited and it was Kyler who spoke first.

“I do, I felt a connection with you from the very beginning and now it is so much more.” He paused. “Don’t you feel it too?” He spoke to Gage.

“I do, I know there’s more here than a simple hookup. I realize you have gone above and beyond for us and I thank you, but what does it mean? What does it mean for us?” Gage asked his desperation and hope so clear in his voice.

“All paranormal beings are blessed with a Fated love. Vampires search for their beloveds, while shifters have a mate, and the more ethereal beings have a soul match. It’s all the same with different names. Fate gives each of us someone or two someone’s to love, protect, provide for and cherish for the rest of our long lives and you are mine, my beloveds.” He kissed each of them again on the forehead loving the closeness they were sharing while discussing the most important aspect of their new lives.

“When you’re ready I will claim you by filling you with my seed and biting you, effectively leaving my mark inside and out. The bite will form a scare which we call a bonding scar, and all will know that you, Kyler and you Gage belong to me. The bond is for life and once complete we will be connected not just emotionally, but on a soul level. What you’re feeling right now is just the beginning of how deep it will become.” Kash figured he should leave it there for now. Let them process what he’s told them so far and later answer their questions.

“Let’s rest for a bit, because dammit, I just love holding you, and then I have to go back to the Club. You two are never going back there.” He was emphatic on that score. Neither of his beloveds would ever suffer in that place again.

  …

Kash got dressed and headed out shortly before three in the morning. He gave Kyler and Gage strict orders to lay low and not answer the door or the phone under any circumstance. If something were to happen, he gave them a code to use on their phones that would alert him immediately of their situation.

Kash planned to check them out of the little studio they had been occupying and spread the word that they left town. He would then go back to the Club and see how the news settles and what actions Cruise takes, if any. Kash was trying to prod them into some sort of action that he could confront and quash.

Their negative actions would warrant his attack and the Coven could then hopefully look into the goings-on at the Ruby Light. As it were, he had no idea who to trust at the Coven and who was a party to what was going on. Thoughts of Josef being in league with Jason turned his stomach but what else could he think?

He parked out front of the main office of the motel apartments and let them know clearly that the twins were checking out. With any luck, the guy would be on the phone to the Ruby Light in the next few minutes.

“I’ll make sure their stuff is cleared out and I’ll leave the keys on the table.” He was about to leave when the clerk stopped him.

“So, did they leave town?” The guy asked. It was a question rarely asked by a clerk in his position making it obvious that he would be calling Cruise.

“Yes, they told me they were called back to New York. Apparently, there’s a club they worked at that wanted them back and was willing to pay to get them. Must be nice.” Kash remained informal as he made sure the guy got all the info that Kash wanted him to pass on.

“Must be nice.” The clerk mimicked and went back to work.

Kash left the office and headed down to the unit the twins had occupied and when he opened the door and stepped in, he was struck in the side of the head with a bat. Jason was inside waiting.

“How’d that feel Kash?” He sneered and took another swing at him but Kash sidestepped and avoided the strike which destroyed a table lamp. “Think you’re something, don’t you? All those losers at the Club think you’re going to save them. Well, I’m going to show everyone you’re nothing but a dead man.” He took another swipe but for all his strength he had piss poor aim. He buried the bat in the wall and before he could pull it free Kash was on him.

He got him in a headlock and swung ramming the top of his head into the wall by the door. “I’m going to kill you,” Jason screamed as Kash bashed his head again into the wall. Jason got ahold of the flims
y chair by the window and flung it backward catching Kash in the side of his face but Kash shook it off while maintaining his hold on the bastard out to kill him.

“Who ordered the kill?” Kash finally spoke and began twisting Jason’s neck.

“Cruise ordered it, but I volunteered. I couldn’t wait to bash your stupid head in and rip out your throat.” Jason seemed to forget he was the one in constraints. “He told me to kill the twins too. I planned to take my time and make it fun.” Jason dropped to his knees temporarily loosening Kash’s hold and turned to strike with his nails long and sharp and his vampire in full view.

Kash grabbed what was left of the chair and used it to backhand Jason’s attempt and knock him to the side and off his feet. Kash didn’t wait for him to get up, with a lethal strike he buried his nails in the side of Jason’s throat and ripped it out. Jason had the nerve to actually looked surprised by the fact he was dead. He clutched his throat but there was no stopping the life that was flowing out of him leaving him empty and barren like the man he was.

Kash pushed the body out of his way, turned out the lights and locked the door before going back to his car. Just as he was pulling away, he saw a car speeding into the lot and stopping in front of the unit used by the twins. He kept going and parked on the roadway out of sight, but which gave him a clear view of the activity at the unit. He recognized Saul and Phil as they entered the unit and then quickly walked out and headed to the main office. The clerk must have called as soon as Kash had left the office for them to have gotten there so soon.

He pulled away and went back to the day-rental where he’d stashed Kyler and Gage. Going back to the Club would be walking into a trap. Cruise wanted him out of the way, but it was a sorry choice to send Jason. The guy was a bully and a thug, but he had poor fighting skills when it came to facing an equal. Too many years of beating up on the small and vulnerable caused him to lose his edge.

The need to be close to his beloveds was driving him hard as he broke the speed limit to get back to the house. Something was pushing him, and he wasn’t going to take chances with Fate’s precious gifts.

The house was dark except for a dim light in the den. It was the room in the house that could be closed locked and bolted. It wasn’t exactly a safe room, but it was safer than most. Even the window which looked out on a back lawn was tempered glass and covered with an iron grate.

He’d told them to stay in that room until he returned, and they followed his direction which gave him a little peace of mind but only a little. The thought that Cruise had arranged for all their deaths was chilling indeed. He was a creep and a criminal for sure, but he hadn’t struck Kash as a cold-blooded killer. For him to assume he could get away with multiple murders, there had to be someone on the take higher up.

In his previous life, he would have simply contacted his superior and reported his concerns from the onset and an investigation would have ensued. But here he sat not knowing who he could trust and struggling to keep himself and his beloveds alive while the manager of the Ruby Light issued hits. It was outrageous and unthinkable, but it was his life at present.

He pulled into the garage and closed the door before getting out and going into the house. Everything seemed fine as he headed for the den and his beloveds. Being away from them was getting harder and harder especially with so many threats hanging in the air around them.

  CHAPTER SEVEN

“Are you out of your fucking mind?” Josef barked into the phone.

“He killed Jason. He jumped him at the apartment of two of the Club dancers and killed him. We believe he may have killed the dancers too. They’ve disappeared along with Kash Garret.” Winston Cruise called in the murder as soon as Saul reported what he found. Everything had happened away from the Club so he assumed there would be no onsite investigation.

“What was Kash doing at the apartment?” Josef asked still not comprehending what he was being told.

“He left work about ten and the dancers disappeared around the same time. Jason went looking for them and apparently, that’s when Kash killed him. Two of my men followed up when I couldn’t reach Jason and found him in the apartment with his throat torn out.” Cruise was talking fast trying to make it sound like he had it all in hand.

“My men are out looking for Kash now. When we find him, we will bring him to you.” Cruise stated and was about to hang up.

“Call off your men, I’ll send a team to handle this. You back down and step away from this until I find out what’s really going on here.” Josef stated with all the authority of the second in command and closed the call.

Cruise turned to Saul and Phil and with a burst of rage demanded they find that bastard Kash and kill him before the Coven guards find him. “If he has a chance to speak, we’re all fucked. Do you understand me, if the Coven finds out what we’ve been doing, we’re as good as dead. Find him and kill him and if those dancers are with him, kill them too. No witnesses, no one to talk and maybe we’ll find a way out of this.” Cruise walked out into the main room and let loose with his rage on the staff who were there waiting to leave. Not a one, not even his favorites escaped his brutality.

  …

Kash paced the floor as he considered their options. Both Kyler and Gage sat staring at the floor and waiting. Kash had told them what took place at the apartment.

“He won’t stop until he kills us all,” Kyler said but did not make eye contact with either Kash or Gage. Gage moved over to Kyler and put his arm around him. Kash walked up to them and crouched down and took their hands in his.

He pushed his calm and his strength through their bond fortifying his little loves for what may lay ahead. “I have a couple of close friends in the Coven, people I can trust. I’m going to contact them and see if they can help me get this information to someone who isn’t involved with the Ruby Light.” He kissed them both and then stood up. “There are good people there. They’re not all like the vampires you’ve met at the Ruby Light. Those people are an aberration and will be eradicated.”

“I’m scared but I feel better than I have in weeks.” Gage declared. “It’s refreshing when you finally start fighting back.”

“We’ll beat them.” Kyler joined in.

“We will beat them.” Kash reiterated. “You two haven’t had much sleep so why don’t you stretch out on the two sofas if you don’t want to go upstairs and try to rest while I make a couple of calls.”

They both laid down and Kash headed for the door not wanting to make his calls in front of them, but Gage stopped him before he left. “Will you claim us when this is all over, Kash?” He asked and looked over to where Kash stood.

“You can count on it beautiful. It will be the first thing I do.” Kash smiled and they returned the gesture before rolling over and getting comfortable. Fate had truly blessed him with strong and enduring men. They looked like they could be brought down by a stiff wind and yet Kash knew soldiers that didn’t possess their level of determination and resilience.

He walked out into the kitchen to make his call but when he pulled his phone from his pocket, he saw that he’d missed several calls and messages from Josef and also Sergio and Nathan.

He called Sergio. “Hey, I need your help.” He began but was abruptly cut off before he could explain further.

“What the hell is going on, Kash?” He exclaimed and then told him what Cruise had charged him with. “Did you kill Jason Barton?”

Kash hesitated for a moment surprised that Cruise would call the Coven and wondered what his angle was. “Yes, I killed him.”

“There has to be more to it. Word is that he was on the list to be re-assigned to the Coven proper next month. He was moving up.” Sergio informed.

“He was a heartless asshole and a killer,” Kash told Sergio what had taken place over the last two days at the Ruby Light and what happened at the apartment a few hours ago. “The entire staff of that Club, human and vampire alike, are slaves, frightened slaves.”

  “Why di
dn’t you just report it?” Sergio was at a loss.

“Cruise claims that Josef is in on the action at the Ruby Light and is a good friend of Jason’s. Josef himself told me that he was impressed with the man and that he’d helped Jason get membership in the Hadden Coven. Jason has abused and murdered innocents; how can anyone stand with a man like that? I don’t know who I can trust, Sergio.” Kash explained his position and Sergio understood his dilemma.

Kash then made the ultimate confession and told Sergio of Kyler and Gage and their importance to him. “Their lives are in danger. Jason was sent there to kill not only me but Kyler and Gage as well.”

“Josef has a team out looking for you,” Sergio told him. “Let me help you, Kash.” He urged. “Meet me in the park by the fountain. Please let me help you.”

“Okay.” Kash wasn’t so vainglorious that he didn’t think he needed help. With both Cruise and Josef out to find him, it was just a matter of time. “I’ll meet you at the fountain in an hour.” He said and hung up.

Walking back into the den he saw that Kyler and Gage seated together in the corner of one of the sofas not sleeping not even resting. “You’re supposed to be resting.” He said as he walked over and once again crouched down in front of them. He reached out and once again held each of their hands feeling their trepidation and uncertainty but also their growing love and devotion to him. It was humbling in a way like nothing else in his life had ever been. He came to the Ruby Light to find his humility and he found it in the arms of two dancers. Two men with everything to lose who put their trust in him.

“You’re like no one we’ve ever known, Kash. You’re strong and sharp and so sure of yourself, but we worry. The longer we spend with you the more it becomes clear to us that we never want to lose you.” Kyler stated, his barely restrained emotions shining brightly in his eyes. Gage kept nodding in agreement as Kyler spoke and tightened his grip on Kash’s hand.
