I’m glad she told me that, I’ll keep that piece of information for the future.

I stand from the bed, removing my shirt. She stares at me with hungry eyes, and I hope that hunger never leaves them.

“You’re going to be late for work,” she says as she eyes me up and down. Her hands help me work on my trousers, and within a few seconds, I’m as naked as she is.

  “Is your father gone?”

I nod my head, lean in and kiss her neck. He left a while ago. He and Ma have been getting along quite well. Creed’s aware, and when they told him, his quietness took on a whole new level. He isn’t used to anyone being around Ma other than us, though he respects my father, so I assume he will be glad it’s him and not some stranger he doesn’t know. Creed doesn’t do so well with strangers, or anyone, really.

“You shouldn’t be worrying about him, though. It’s you, you should be worried about.” I wink at her and push her back as she turns into a fit of giggles while I climb on top of her. Her legs wrap around my waist instinctively, and she thrusts up to meet me. “You should know better than to play with a man who wants you.” She lifts her hand to my chest, then drags it down between us, over my chest until she reaches where I’m situated near her sweet pussy.

“I don’t intend to play. I plan for you to fuck me right now.”

I lean down, going to bite her lips. She pauses, waiting for me to do so, and before I touch her, I slam into her. Her eyes close from the contact, and she arches her head back, screaming out in pleasure.

When she’s comfortable she looks at me. “I love you, Darby.” She says it with such conviction that I know she is it for me. I know this woman will be my forever.

Her hips start to move, and she grips onto me hard. We take a ride on this train that we’re never getting off. I know there will be ups and downs. We still haven’t figured everything out, but I hope we will, and given time, I know we will.

She brings me down to her so our bodies are together and grips me to her so tight we have no room to move. “My answer is yes,” she whispers to my lips. “Yes, I will move in with you. I want this life with you. All of it.”

I claim her, all fucking day, and don’t leave the bed to go to work.

Charles wakes and we lay there, watch movies and eat shitty food.

It’s the perfect fucking life I never wanted or dreamed of, but I’m glad I’ve got it.

  Epilogue

  Darby

The white dress is perfect. Her hands squeeze and bunch the sides of it as we all watch her. We’re in a private function area where everything is white, and I don’t just mean bits and pieces. The floor is white and it’s almost like walking on clouds, the walls are white, the ceiling is white, even the lights are white. The only splashes of color in this room right now are the people who are all sitting as they watch.

“You may now kiss the bride.”

Cheers are heard everywhere. There’s yelling and screaming so loud I almost miss the chuckle which leaves Ariel’s mouth as Falcon says something dirty before he leans over and kisses her lips. It’s been one year since the day Olympia moved in with me, and what a year it’s been. Charles runs from my hand from where I stand next to Falcon, and runs straight to him, buckling his legs and breaking his kiss from Ariel. The minute she sees him, she picks him up and kisses his cheek.

“You can’t have her, you know, she’s mine.”

Everyone laughs, even Ariel in her white dress. I never thought I’d see the day—it suits him, she suits him.

“Mine,” Charles says gripping onto Ariel.

I watch as Olympia gets up, trying to cover her smile as she reaches for him. “Come on, my boy.”

Charles looks to Ariel, and he reluctantly goes to Olympia, then she sits him on her big belly. So it seems my sperm has very strong swimmers. So good, in fact, that she’s pregnant with twins. She’s due in two weeks. Tomorrow she’s to go in to see if they should induce her early. And Charles, well, Charles thinks of Olympia as his mother. He doesn’t know any different apart from the photographs we keep on his nightstand, and when I listen to Olympia tell him about Cleo. They have a bond that I’m proud of.

Olympia winks at me, and I step away to help her. She sits back down with Charles and whispers in his ear, making him place his head on her shoulder. I know the move and know she’s about to sing to him. I don’t know how I’m going to do when she has our sons because she sings to him every night. It’s his bedtime routine.

Ariel and Falcon walk off, and everyone goes to follow them apart from us. Echo stands next to me and Creed next to him. Our women at the front watching us, and I wonder how four fucked-up guys got so fucking lucky to have found our perfect soulmates.

We don’t deserve it, but I won’t say no to it either.

My father taps me on my shoulder, and Ma kisses each of the boys and me before they reach for Charles. Creed’s daughter is glued to him as she’s a straight-up daddy’s girl.

  Olympia stands.

  Water gushes out.

  Everyone freezes.

Charles claps his hands excitedly. “Waterslide.”

“It’s time,” I say reaching for Olympia.

She nods her head. “Tell me you will love me until you can’t,” she asks clenching my hand.

“That’s a bit fucked up.” She squeezes my hand harder. “Okay, okay, woman, I’ll love you until I cant, which will never happen. Fuck! Now give my hand back so it doesn’t fall off.”

She smiles as a contraction hits. “I love you, Darby. Remember that in the next few hours when I want to kill you.”

Everyone laughs and Creed slaps me on the back. I shrug him off. He and El don’t plan to have any more kids. One’s their limit, though it seems I’m having enough for all of us anyway.

I love her in her sleep.

I love her at her worst.

I’ll love her for all eternity.

Of this, I know for sure.

  * * *

  My dearest boy,

I do not know your name, though in my head you are Charles. I hope I can live long enough to tell you this. Or to tell your father, who, by the way is a great man, who I know you will take after. He’s a very determined man, and one who is true to his word. But I’m sure you know all of this. So, I want to tell you a bit about me, some stuff you might not know. I don’t have a family, but I hope you will have the greatest, because I know whoever your father brings into your life will be nothing but spectacular. He isn’t a man who would settle for less than that, I am sure.

You’re kicking me right now, so it feels weird to write this to you. Now that you’re grown and not this little person in my belly who I created. Did you know I knew I wanted you before I was even an adult? Weird, right? But I was put on this earth to make you, of that I am sure. I would do it all again if the outcome is you. Without a doubt.

I just came back from your last ultrasound, and you’re due to enter this world in a few weeks. I’ve been putting this letter off, because would you really want a letter from your dead mother? But if it were me, I know I would read it. So, I thought why not. However, if you never read it, that’s okay, too. It’s good for me to picture your future, to know you have one is inspiring.

I wish I could be there for all your firsts—your first steps, your first words. Hell, even your first kiss. But I’m not, and I will never be okay with that, but your father will be there. And I know you will have the best life, achieve the greatest things simply because of him.

  I want to tell you…

  I love you.

  I am proud of you.

And that until this life is over, I can’t wait to meet you. We will. I’ll be waiting, but I hope it’s not for a very long time and you have many kids and a long happy life.

I love you, give your father a kiss for me.

  I’ll be dreaming of you.

  Love, Mumma.

  Acknowledgments

I hate this part in a book, I put it off because it’s difficult for me. I have so many people to thank, and to think I could miss someone gives me anxiety. But I will try my best and if I did miss you, message and abuse me. I deserve it LOL.

First and foremost, thank you to my readers. If you got this far it means you read all the series. THANK YOU! I hope you love all of my boys as much as I have loved writing them. Send me a message about who was your favorite, I love hearing from readers. And if you leave a review, send that to me because they are the BEST! It shows what we do is appreciated, and that means the world to an author because our job is mostly done in solitude. So, thank you again.

Thank you to my editors—Kaylene and Lindsay. You both have helped so much throughout this series, my words wouldn’t shine if it weren’t for you.

Thank you to RBA and Wagner for the photos and cover designs, you made my dream a reality.

To my beta readers, who take on short notice, and get it back to me on my crazy deadlines. Thank you.

To the bloggers, and Instagram bloggers. Would I even be seen if it weren’t for you? I think no. So, thank you.

Tami who creates my perfect paperbacks, they are just so pretty I can’t stop staring at them. Formatting hero.
