  * Don’t ask about the names. Gorey refuses to explain them.

  * Not all of the grim folk mix well. Full-grown giants are often a hundred feet tall! So the little giants might fit through the door, but it would be kind of awkward when the parents came to visit on teacher conference day.

  * File that name in your Dark Lord dictionary if you’re keeping one. These monsters are as grim as they come.

  * Dad had a penchant for drama. Dark Lords are like that.
