Meant To Be Sneak Peek!
Ava: Eli, PLEASE call me.
Eli: …
Ava: Eli. I’m sorry about my parents. And what Jake said. And that you guys got in a fight. Please.
Ava: Eli!!!
Ava: OMG if you don’t respond to me right now I will…
Ava: I don’t know what I’ll do. Cry forever? Tell everyone you have a tiny dick? I know that’s the LAST thing you want me to say!
Ava: Even though it would be a lie.
Eli: …
Ava: Why won’t you talk to me?
Eli: …
Ava: I NEED TO TALK TO YOU RIGHT NOW.
Ava: You can’t ignore me forever!
Eli: …
Ava: Maybe you can…

Did you know?
That Drew + Fable have their own book/series? You can read their story in One Week Girlfriend - available now at all digital retailers and only $3.99!
Temporary. That’s the word I’d use to describe my life right now. I’m temporarily working double shifts—at least until I can break free. I’m temporarily raising my little brother—since apparently our actual mother doesn’t give a crap about either of us. And I always end up as nothing but the temporary girlfriend—the flavor of the week for every guy who’s heard the rumor that I give it up so easily.
At least Drew Callahan, college football legend and local golden boy, is upfront about it. He needs someone to play the part of his girlfriend for one week. In exchange for cash. As if that’s not weird enough, ever since he brought me into his world, nothing really makes sense. Everyone hates me. Everyone wants something from him. And yet the only thing Drew seems to want is . . . me.
I don’t know what to believe anymore. Drew is sweet, sexy, and hiding way more secrets than I am. All I know is, I want to be there for him—permanently.
Acknowledgments
First up - PLEASE DON’T BE MAD I LEFT YOU HANGING.. Ava is truly her parents’ daughter. I remember when I self published One Week Girlfriend , and all the emails and comments and messages I received from readers asking, How could you do this to us? How could you end it on a cliffhanger?
Well, I did it again. Eli and Ava’s story felt too big to write in one book, and you should know this book is 120,000 words. That’s the longest book I’ve ever written! I had it follow basically the same timeline as Jake’s book (Falling For Her), but now…now we’ve moved beyond that timeline. And there is still so much more to tell you about Eli and Ava.
Meant To Be was originally slated for a January 5th, 2021 release. And it wasn’t even going to be Eli and Ava’s book. But things change, and just know you won’t have to wait that long for the rest of the story. I plan on releasing it much sooner. I’ll share more details soon. Make sure you follow me on social media somewhere and/or signed up for my newsletter so you’ll be the first to know what’s up.
Okay, now for the gratitude. Thank you to the reviewers, book bloggers and readers who were so excited to read this book. Who were wondering if I could redeem Eli after he was such a jerk in Falling For Her. I hope I redeemed him in your eyes. He’s my absolute favorite hero of this series.
Thank you to my beta readers, specifically Sarah P, Brittany E, Brittany U, Jan C and Elizabeth S. Your input was so valuable, and your love for Eli filled me with such relief. I hope I made this story better because of your suggestions.
Also, Jan and Elizabeth, you make the prettiest graphics for me! Thank you, thank you!
As always, to my publicist Nina for all your help, and to the entire team at Valentine PR - thank you. I can’t do this without you. A thank you to my assistant Casie for dealing with me after I hire her and tell her, I need your help! And then went dark for a couple of weeks because July 2020 sucked, people. The entirety of this year has been surreal so far.
To my poor high school cheer team that I coach who won’t get to cheer at Friday night football games this fall. I am going to miss those nights so much! I gripe every Friday as I’m driving back from an away game really late, or when it’s late October and we’re freezing and the girls won’t stop complaining. But I will miss it. I’ll miss our boys and the community coming out to watch them and the “Star Spangled Banner” playing before every game, the girls holding up their poms and the boys holding up their helmets at the same moment right before the song ends. That moment gets me every time. I’ll miss stressing out over the music not playing for the girls’ halftime routine (that is the most stressful thing EVER). Friday night football games at the high school have consumed my life for the last four years, and my fingers are tightly crossed they’ll happen this winter. In the rain. Or maybe even the snow. That’ll be interesting. But I’ll be ready for it.
It would mean everything to me if you could take a few moments and leave an honest review for Addicted To Him. Thank you.
