  Chapter 2 Ezekiels Two-Edged Sword

The best weapon a Christian has is grace. Grace can be used in light of prophecy. Ezekiel tried teaching people to have faith in the Law to access grace. As a result, people did.. Yet, it was due to faith and not the Law considering Ezekiel obeyed for the nation. However, in addition to blind faith, people also have the Law as an option to access grace.

Ezekiel displayed two faiths. His first faith is in the Law, Eze 4.14; Rom 9.31. By it, anyone can overcome God's judgment by being righteous if practicing the law is in faith. By simply obeying the law, one can knock out three birds with one stone. We become just before God, Rom 2.13. We also become righteous by faith, Rom 9.30-33. Both faiths provide these three attributes.

Faith through the Law allows anyone to access the tree of life by eating the flesh of the word in obedience, Rev 2.7 and Rev 22.14. God commanded Ezekiel to do something, so he did it. As a result, everyone became righteous. Faith in the Law is an example of how preachers teach today. They say, stop sinning and leave evil. By doing good, we allow the Holy Ghost to wash our heart from evil, Rom 5.5. The Holy Spirit is the sword of the Spirit. If allowed, the Spirit can mortify and kill the deeds of the flesh. Thus someone can become a son of God as stated in Rom 8.13. However this is only accomplished by faith in both the Holy Ghost and Spirit. You see, faith in the Law provides righteousness, Rom 9.30. It also provides faith, Rom 9.32. Those three beneficial attributes are requirements for both faiths to access grace. As a result we become just. However, thats only one side of our sword, there are two faiths that access grace.

The second faith is by that of Jesus Christ. We have faith in the blood, Rom 3.25. We get the righteousness of God, 3.21. We also get justified by faith Rom 3.28.

Those are two edges of the same sword. Ezekiel wielded both sides. There is only one verse which equalizes the importance of faith and works. It is found in James 2.17. When addressed by the law, actions are subjective to commandments thereof. However, faith only requires belief. Altogether, they pinpoint the tip by making us just and peaceful before God and man.

In our day and age, we already take advantage of the second faith. Its the kind of faith people have. Ezekiel is an anti-type of Jesus. When the people saw the prophet discussing matters with God, they had to follow the prophet. 100% of Abrahamic faiths follow these edges. Therefore, is someone is blind we must then identify their shortcoming. Which righteousness, faith or justice are they missing. Once identified, we can wield the sword like the prophet and save souls. Regardless of religious background, anyone can be reached with these understandings.

Good is open for everyone to take advantage of. Works should be the measurement whereby doctrine is established. Faith and works also determine if solid teaching is taught. Do not let modern Xianity tell you works are unimportant. Ezekiel saved a nation and prepared prophecy for our day and age. Without actions to accompany faith, then we wouldn't have the Holy Bible. Works are needed because faith has nothing but thoughts and words. Belief alone get’s you into heaven, but works reveal rewards and gifts.

Faith is important for a new convert. Yet, our straight and narrow is defined between faith and works. Seamlessly, anyone can bob and weave between battles to help anyone.

Ezekiel took advantage of the first faith as outlined in Romans 7-10. He traded works for the mercy of God. By simply identifying the section in the bible which reveals this commandment we can end the debate concerning works church – wide. Works can lead people from being deceived. We can tell if our house is built on sand or a rock.

For example, I no longer commit adultery. My fidelity will defend me on judgment day because I believe Jesus didnt die in vain to save me. Therefore, I practice the law to help build my house. Without obedience to the building block of faith, I wouldn't grow spiritually.

In Romans 7.14 Paul says the law is spiritual. That spiritual guidance longs for the spiritual fallowing within a soul. The Word plants seeds into the soil. Since Ezekiel already had faith, he just needed to work. In the end, everyone was tested, including God. Therefore he made bread with mans dung and ate it. The people didn’t have faith. Yet, by his submission, the nation was moved. He heard from God, they didn’t. But as a result, they too got cleansed.

Romans 3.1-4 What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision? Much every way: chiefly, because unto “us” were committed the oracles of God. For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightiest be justified in they sayings, and mightiest overcome when thou are judged.

Do you see? We will get judged by our sayings because of our actions. In the same way, we can help God save others. In question, do your sayings match your actions?. If they match, then faith can save us.

The unlearned wrestle with works and faith. Interesting, because even the decieved practice works. As a promise of God according to the aforementioned scripture, we can stand blameless on judgment day. By one simple action, obedience to the Word. Thats how Ezekiel tested God. Once God was found faithful, Ezekiel slaughtered Israel’s enemies as he ate bread.

This comes in handy today. We can test everyones belief by prophecy and the word. We can sift each believer and put them into the barn. We can alsot clean out doctrines of men. Since oracles of faith are only established by works ones life is confirmed or denied. We become self-aware, responsible and faithful with the word entrusted to us. By practice, we can set up others for success using hidden truths. Testy but true, actions substantiate faith but without faith law means nothing.

One can argue that we are not justified by the deeds of the law according Rom 3.20. We are if the deeds are practiced by faith. Now that Jesus has come, we have his faith to help us. We are in the age of faith and grace. Therefore by faith in Jesus, his and our works justify us. Just as his works justified him.

Both faiths utilize the Holy Ghost by accessing grace through faith, Rom 5.2. The action of the Holy Ghost washed Ezekiels heart from Israels uncleanness. However, his spirit laying on the floor mortified the deeds of the peoples flesh. On that fateful day, the people allowed a commandment to wash their heart from being deceived.

If someone has a problem due to action, then help them fix their action. If someone has a problem due to faith then help them believe. By wielding both sides, any spiritual and physical problem can be addressed.

In our day we have a special choice to make. Are we going to stand by and watch as the religious world runs around crazy? We can direct nations and people using prophecy, faith or works. Once the tidal wave tips in favor of prophecy, peace and love will unite the sons of Abraham. Rather than killing everyone, we will carefully watch and protect them.

In addition to accessing the Holy Ghost, we can also access the Spirit. Through the Spirit, the Holy Ghost mortifies the deeds of the flesh. Pain, regret and fear leave as mercy restores a heavy soul into peace, love and a sound mind. The Spirit puts the flesh into subjection. In order to ensure the spirit begins to breath from overwhelming pressure on the heart peace begins.

That pressure comes from our fallen nature. It wants to stand and be right with God. If anyone does not feel the need for self improvement then the person is dead spiritually. What convictions do people have towards good. Identifying them saves people from death. In time, actions are forgotten and new ones are learned. As the Holy Ghost does his job then the Spirit solidifies a son of God, Rom 8.14.

This is better understood by John 3.8. The Holy Ghost blows where its fixings listeth. Both faiths determine where help is needed. We can help the Holy Ghost set others free by determining which edge to use. Even we can hear salvation ring during conversations. Fortunately, the law reveals sin so faith can reveal the answer.

As a defense for works, a person must have faith in the works of Jesus to access grace. One cannot be justified by the Saviour if knowledge of his faith a
nd works aren't enough to prevent sinning. Therefore, works ensure justification to access faith. Remember works, accesses an aspect of faith only available by obedience. Anyone who teaches otherwise is a false prophet. Actions substantiate belief. Also, you cannot have one edge without the other. On the other hand, if you continue sinning, then realize, you will face judgment. Hopefully, not alone.

Lastly, grace has two aspects. First, forgiveness, and second, power. First is faith and second is works. God is trying to make responsible, self-sustaining children, not robots. Tag along if you want. You just may realize, Jesus' works are not yours to begin with. The “works” of the Holy Ghost and Spirit are gifts from God. Paid for by the life of his son. So if you reject their works then you reject God's faith.
